Epilogue | Angel of Mine

 

 

"When are you planning to marry her?"

 

Yoona almost want to spit on her water the moment she heard Yuri's serious question. She looked at her with wide eyes. "Serious? You're out of the topic! We are just talking about the ranch and new horses, why suddenly asking me that?" 

 

Yuri chuckled lightly. She held Yoona's head in both sides and turned it forcefully towards the scene where the others are busy grilling their barbecue. Of course, that includes her girlfriend, who is so hot with her white sleevless shirt and black hot pants. "Look at her - my cousin. Can you describe me what can you see?"

 

"A girl."

 

*smack*

 

"Seriously? You and your cousin have the same habit of smacking people's head." Yoona groaned, rubbing her head momentarily.

 

"And yes, I'm serious when I am asking about her. Yoona, can't you see? She's like - Gosh, everyone girl and boy would really like to marry her." Yuri stated, hissing away.

 

"Of course I am planning for that. But we have actually planned not yet. Since we're both new in the relationship. And so far, we're learning. Learning new things." Yoona is just so proud. Except for the fact that her ertiness sometimes kicks in, their relationship is so far so good. Like Chairman Seo Leeteuk told her, she will always be Seohyun's hero - and she's doing it always. 

 

Yuri once again held Yoona's head and forced her to look at her cousin. Yoona smiled when she caught her girlfriend laughing with Dara and Hyoyeon. Both are immensely talking with something too. 

 

"You are her happiness Yoona."

 

"And who told you she's not my happiness, eh?" Yoona glared at Yuri, questioning her statement. For the span of 2 months she's dating the tiger, she's seriously been so happy. No dull moment every time she's with her. Well, they're really suit together - Alligator and tiger.

 

"Therefore, just propose to her already. You really shouldn't just wait for anything just to be able to say it's time."

 

"Again, there's time for that. We're not rushing, Okay? Aigoo." Yoona sighed, shaking her head afterwards. She took her glass of water and have some few gulps before turning again to her girlfriend. "President Seo is so busy. She's travelling from time to time - and I have to be with her always. I'm happy I can be her assistant still. I get to scold her sometimes because she do something stupid sometimes. She's really learning from me in vice versa."

 

Yuri chuckled, couldn't believe the kind of relationship Yoona is with her cousin. "By the way, I haven't heard anything about her parents. Did you guys get to see them?"

 

"Wow. I thought we could see them when we went to L.A., but no. They're busy as hell. Since the official announcement of Seohyun's position, they seemed to be so distant now. I don't know, but I feel like they don't want to see their daughter at all. Poor Seohyun, she so wanted to tell her parents about her condition, but she couldn't. I really couldn't imagine such parents exist like that. Tsk,tsk."

 

"So they don't know yet that she's dating an alligator?" Yuri did not hesitate and call Yoona like that. Everyone in the gang have already learned the nickname, and they keep on teasing the two girls about it.

 

Yoona shot Yuri a glare before she replied, "I doubt so. We've been on the news recently. I think they really know about it already. Oh, speaking of parents. You would be laughing if I tell you this... "

 

"What?"

 

Yoona has a big grin spreading across her face as she began flashing back her memories she spend with her girlfriend this past.

 

One month Ago...

 

"Yoona, are you sure this is the house of your parents?" Seohyun somehow grimaced when she find herself in front of a small house - surrounded by a vegetable garden and some few trees here and there. Basically, they're in Yoona's original home, before she moved to Seoul.

 

"Yep. How'd you like it?" Yoona just proudly spread her arms. The garden and everything they can see is her parents' hard work.

 

"I don't know. I feel like... in a forest or something." Seohyun mutters softly which earned Yoona's chuckle.

 

"Yeah, I know the place is not the same that you have actually grown up. But this is where I grow up. You should also see it. Hmm?" Yoona then took her girlfriend's hand and drags her gently to the door. She knocked twice before stepping back. "Hey, don't worry. No one will harm you here."

 

"Where are the neighbors?" asked Seohyun curiously. All that she can see is mountains. Yes, more mountains around. She couldn't find house near Yoona's house.

 

Yoona surely have missed to educate her girlfriend about Rural areas. Or did she just forget it from their lessons way back in High School? "Aigoo, I don't know where did you came from or you just forgot it. We're in rural area Boss. Which means, houses are far from each other. They're mountain by mountain? I don't know what to call that, but I think it's like that. hehe." She sheepishly explained.

 

"Oh, I do know about that. I just can't believe it's really like that, here." Seohyun said, admitting her mistake.

 

"Yeah, yeah." Yoona sighed, once again knocking on the door. They heard footsteps coming closer already, which made her breath in deep and exhaled heavily. Once the door was open, there was her father revealing himself for the first time in front of Seohyun.

 

But instead of Mr. Im's face, Seohyun's attention was caught to the real alligator he was holding. "KYAAAAA!!!" She literally scream and jumps to Yoona, tangling her legs over the latter's waist. "PUT THAT AWAY FROM MEEEE!!!" Yoona seriously have to hold her on her as she stepped a lot of backwards, avoiding the alligator in her father's hand.

 

"YAH! APPA! JUST WHEN DID YOU BECOME AN ALLIGATOR PET KEEPER?" She literally scream as hell as well - scared.

 

"Whoa, whoa, there Yoona. This is no harm. She's even so friendly." Mr. Im chuckles, rubbing the head of the alligator. "She won't bite you know. I have tied ." he added.

 

"Um, Boss. I think I should bring you down now." Yoona whispered reassuringly.

 

Seohyun slowly turned her head to see the alligator. She sighed in relief when indeed she can see the mouth is tied. It really almost just killed her. But as she can see her position, legs entangle around Yoona's waist, she would really kill herself if she will not leave her waist. So she just immediately jumps off and quickly run behind Yoona. At least, her alligator is not harm - unlike the real one.

 

Yoona is amusingly chuckling. "Why are you hiding there? You look like a kid."

 

"Is she Miss Seo Yoong?" Mr. Im smiled. 

 

"Yes, Appa. Um, Boss... meet my father. Father, my girlfriend slash Boss. Hehe." Yoona introduced them.

 

Seohyun defiantly stepped to reveal herself. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Im." And bowed in respect to the latter.

 

"Oh, Nice to meet you Miss Seo." Mr. Im answered, bowing as well.

 

"Um, can I request? The-the alligator? Can you put that away?" Seohyun did not hesitate and favored.

 

"Hehe, sure. I'll put her on her cage first. Yoona bring your girlfriend inside." Mr. Im instructed his daughter, as he left to the backyard.

 

Sighing in relief, Seohyun walked side by side with her girlfriend as they entered the house. They put their bags on the floor and Yoona left to the kitchen first. She remained in the living room, sitting on the floor literally. Since the house is a korean native house, she had expect it already.

 

Yoona went back with a glass of water, handing it to her.

 

"Here. Take this." Yoona says, as she also took her seat next to her girlfriend.

 

Seohyun did not hesitate and drink all the content on the glass.

 

"By the way, when you said you want to put the alligator. Its like you are sending me away." Yoona says, quiet upset.

 

"Ugh, you're talking non sense." Seohyun rolled her eyes back.

 

"Just kidding. Anyway, Are we really staying here until tonight?"

 

"We're paying a visit. So yes."

 

"But honestly, We only have two rooms here. My parents' room and my room. Um, we shared a room with my brother, basically."

 

"Chincha? That's cool. No wonder you two are so close." Seohyun realized.

 

"And-" 

 

"Where's my in law?" Mrs. Im suddenly barge in - looking for Seohyun immediately. When her eyes caught the sight of Seohyun on the living room, she quickly rushed and enveloped her with a tight and warm hug. A welcoming hug precisely. "I've missed you Seohyun-ssi. Welcome to our home." She said, enthusiastically. 

 

"Omma, Um... you're already - ch-choking her." Yoona told her mother.

 

'It's okay.' Seohyun mouthed, just smiled at her girlfriend, as she doesn't mind though. She hugs her back. She can feel how much she missed her. She herself missed the older woman. It's been a while since she last saw her. After the visit in L.A., she really thought she could only have Mrs. Im as her mother.

 

After a while, Mrs. Im pulled back, smiling back to Seohyun. "How are you doing? You don't feel any headaches anymore?" It was the first thing that really comes to her mind.

 

"Hmm, there are sometimes... but it's quiet not that bad now." Seohyun answered softly. "I've also missed you too, Mrs. Im."

 

"Aww, you look prettier now." Mrs. Im cupped Seohyun's cheeks gently, caressing them. "Keep on smiling like this, OKay?" She whispered, but loud enough for the other girl to hear. Yoona rolled her eyes, as she just couldn't complain and watch her mother praise her girlfriend more than her own daughter.

 

"Thank you, Mrs. Im."

 

"Oh wait. Don't call me like that. Call me Omma from now on, Okay?" Mrs. Im smiled so bright.

 

Seohyun smiled back, but not quiet bright, as she find herself a bit awkward. "O-Okay. O-Omma. Hehe... " She just blushed profusely. And before she knows it, Mrs. Im pulled her on her feet. 

 

"Omma, where are you taking my girlfriend?"

 

"Do you like straw berries?" Mrs. Im asked Seohyun rather.

"Y-Yes. Wae?"

 

"Let's harvest some." Without a doubt, Mrs. Im pulled the younger girl with her out.

 

Yoona immediately followed. They headed to the backyard of the house. Yoona stopped halfway when she find herself standing in front of a straw berry farm indeed. It's been a long time since she had honestly seen their farm. And it seems it's not as small as she had expected. It looks so big now. Her money that she always send to her parents have really paid off, seeing how their farm have gone so far. The land is finally there's, isn't it? She felt so good inside. 

 

A big smile plastered in her face when her attention averted to her girlfriend, who was enjoying - harvesting those straw berries.

 

"Yoona! Join us here!" Her mother wave her hand, asking her.

 

She was about to join them when she felt a tap on her shoulder. Looking back, it's her father, smiling so brightly at her.

 

"I'm so proud of you, Yoong. You didn't just give us this land but you also give us such a gorgeous in-law." Mr. Im says, proud for her daughter. 

 

"Don't tell me, you also like her more than me?" Yoona pouted sadly.

 

Mr. Im chuckles. "You're just talking non sense Yoona. What I am saying is that, you got us an in-la It doesn't mean that we like her more than you - Babo." He knocked her head, earning only her giggles as she wrapped her arms around his waist. "But when it comes to body, well... she has nice assets than you, Yoona. Hehehe... "

 

The doe-eyed girl literally pulled back and slapped her father's shoulder. "ERT!"

 

"Haha! I just can't help it and check on her. Especially her-Ugh." Mr. Im couldn't continue his words, as soon as Yoona launched a good punch on his stomach.

 

"Stop erting on my girlfriend Appa! Otherwise, I'm going to kick you." Yoona warned seriously. But his father only chuckle. "Aish!" She marched her way to the farm instead, leaving the old man consequently. She can't let her girlfriend being near with her father. Never.

 

End of Flashback..

 

Yoona just can't stop laughing along with Yuri - that they did not notice her phone is ringing. They only stopped laughing when someone shouted about the phone ringing on top of the table. It was Yuri's phone.

 

"Omo. I nearly forgot." Yuri shot up from her seat eventually.

 

"Who is that?" Yoona asked in curiosity.

 

"Jessica." Yuri answered, quickly answering the phone away from Yoona.

 

The doe-eyed couldn't help it but watch the tan girl in the corner - talking with an old friend. It's been 2 months honestly that she had no contacts with her. But it looks like Yuri is keeping in touch with her. She wonders what's the score between the two? Well, she hoped it's good. So she can not worry over her. She knows she was moving on - she hoped she had now. 

 

"Babe? Who is Yuri talking to?" Asked Seohyun, as she take her seat next to her girlfriend. Yoona turned to her instantly. "It looks like important?"

 

"Jessica." Yoona answered, briefly smiling.

 

"Jessicat?" Seohyun frowned, didn't expect it. "She's keeping in touch with her?"

 

"Jessicat? You really seemed haven't forgotten that, eh?" Yoona can't help herself and chuckle. 

 

"Of course, how would I?"

 

"Do you still hate her?" Yoona wonders.

 

Seohyun paused, asking herself. Yet, she just answers, "Maybe? I don't know." She sighed afterwards. Yoona doesn't know about her father and Jessica's mother, she can't worry her.

 

"I don't get it."

 

"Let's just say, I still can't find myself befriending with her. As much as I want to, I think it's awkward." Seohyun explained. Jessica is different from Taeyeon and Tiffany, she realized.

 

Yoona puffs. "Okay. I thought you hate her."

 

"What will be the reason if I will hate her? Hmm?" Seohyun chuckles, giving Yoona a pat on the shoulder before going back to their grill.

 

Yoona could only smile as she took the glass again and have some water. Yuri went back to the table right after Seohyun left.

 

"Um, Jessica will be here." 

 

Yoona really spit her water the moment she heard it. She turned to her girlfriend, the latter was also surprised, yet she just shrug and finished their grilling. "You invited her?" She looked back at Yuri, exclaiming in the process.

 

"I did. Um, Honestly. We've been contacting each other. It's 2 weeks now." Yuri sheepishly confessed, rubbing the back of her head.

 

"Wow. Really? Where is she residing? I honestly missing her. It's been months since her break in the Agency."

 

"Um, that's why I invited her over. She's coming back to the office next week. This could be a welcome party if ever. Do you want to go and see her outside?" Yuri's voice is so loud that it made Seohyun to comeback to the table.

 

"Yuri, are you dating Jessicat?" Seohyun did not hesitate and ask her cousin.

 

"I'm getting there. I'm courting her apparently, hehe." Yuri snickers.

 

"You're so surprising, Yuri. But good luck. And don't hurt her." Yoona said, as she got up. "Um, Can I join your cousin, Babe?" And ask her girlfriend first.

 

"Babe, you don't have to ask me that. Just go now. But go back quickly, our grilled fish and meat are now finished." Seohyun softly says, reminding her girlfriend at the end.

 

"Okay. You're the best." Yoona kissed her girlfriend's cheeks first before coming with Yuri. 

 

Seohyun sighed, taking her seat in the process. She purse her lips, as her mind crossed about her step sister. Though past is past, she still can't help it and felt a bit bitter - with what her father have been keeping. Shaking that thoughts off of her mind, she started making sandwich. Just then, it's turn her phone rings. She casually picked it up and just smiled so big when it's Tiffany calling.

 

"Unnie? Where are you guys now?" She answered, really happy. Ever since then, she has no problem about them anymore. She's even happier that they are not competing on FAB anymore. Instead, they're investing on the company. In vice versa, they're helping each other.

 

[We're so near now. Aren't we late yet? Is everyone there now?]

 

"Nope. Sulli and Luhan is not yet here. Her brother, and sister can't make it because of some prior meetings. So yeah, we're not actually complete tonight. But it's okay. Is Irene and Amber going too?"

 

[Noona!!! Unniee!!! We are here!!!]

 

She literally chuckles upon hearing the hyper response from two the two kids. "Hi, Amber! Sulli-ah!!!" which she can't help and also replied the same spirit.

 

[They're so excited to see you again, Seohyun.] Taeyeon also voiced out.

 

"Me too. You should let the car fly, Taeyeon-Unnie." She giggles.

 

[If only I can. Hahaha!!!]

 

And more voice can be heard on the next line. Seohyun is sure so happy listening to their big and happy family again. "I'm hanging up now. We'll be waiting here." 

 

[Okay. See ya~]

 

"See ya Unnie!" Seohyun excitedly answered back. She hangs up and practically hurried making her chicken sandwich. Hyoyeon and Dara also went back to their long table and placed all the grilled food in the middle. All three of them got bus, as they arrange the table for their annual get together. This time, in Yuri's ranch. Outside the hotel - where they can see the moonlight above them. And feel the cold breeze at the same time.

 

Meanwhile, Yoona and Yuri were outside the lounge of the ranch, waiting for Jessica. But before Jessica could even arrived, Taeyeon, Tiffany and their kids arrived first. Irene and Amber sprinted literally towards Yoona when they found her outside. Yoona crouch down and welcomed them with warm hugs and kisses here and there. 

 

"What are you guys doing outside?" Tiffany curiously asked.

"Um, We're waiting for another friend." Yuri replied.

 

"Ah, I see."

 

"We'll be just inside." says Taeyeon on the other hand, as she ushered Irene and Amber to come inside already. Tiffany has to picked up Irene as they entered because she doesn't want to leave her Yoona Unnie.

 

"Irene and Amber are so adorable, aren't they?" Yoona chuckles, waving to the kids, who were waving at her as well.

 

"So just propose to Seohyun, and you guys will have Yoonggator and Seotiger soon." Yuri advised, earning a light punch from Yoona on her arm. She giggles. "I just can't believe you guys haven't even did it. It's been what? Come on, Yoona. You guys should experience it. Making out is not enough for me, you know."

 

"You're not funny, Yuri." Yoona crossed her arms and puffs. She and Seohyun have only been making out, no more than the s word happened in the span of 2 months they've been dating. Though it's not important, but she felt frustrated sometimes that nothing will happened like that when she's in the mood. Seohyun is seducer indeed, but she never had gone on that thing. She would always slap her hand away every time she would crawl her hands on her stomach. It's like, after making out - they will sleep. Isn't that boring? "Aish!!!" She ruffles her hair in frustrations.

 

"Hahahaha!!! You're so whip you know." 

 

Yoona just rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and sighed. Yuri stopped from laughing as soon as Jessica's car pulled over in front of them. Yoona fixed her hair and Yuri composed herself. As soon as Jessica come out from her car, Yuri quickly welcomed her with a big hug. 

 

"Wow. Do I missed something between you two?" Yoona awkwardly utters, as the girls hug in front of her.

 

Jessica pulls back from Yuri's hug and shifted her attention to the doe-eyed. She did not say anything as she just open her arms for the girl as well, hugging her through her neck. 

 

"I miss you, Yoong." 

 

"I... miss you too, Director Jung." Yoona answered, reluctantly. She was surprised. But she wraps her arms around her slender waist anyway. She missed her too though.

 

"How are you doing?" Asked Jessica, pulling back. She smiled so bright - happy to see Yoona again. It's been a while, and she does seemed to stop having romantic feelings for her.

 

"I think I should I ask you that. It's been a while, Huh? And you and Yuri. What's up?" Yoona furrows her eyebrows, suspiciously staring back to Yuri and Jessica.

 

"Well, Yuri is sure a good friend. She keeps on calling me until I just can't take it anymore and decided to answer her calls. I didn't know her intention she would only court me through handy phone. Well thanks to her, it was easy for me to move on. I really think I wasn't really deeply in love with you." Jessica chuckles, reminded by the constant call she always got from Yuri. "How about you? Something new about you and Seohyun?" She grinned, teasing the latter. It's not new to her anymore - the McDonalds commercials and the hit songs Seohyun is producing and releasing these past month.

 

"Nothing... except for... she's really busy. We can only have time for our selves every night and weekends. hehe." Yoona answered, did not even hesitate to admit it.

 

"What about our relationship, Sica?" Yuri asks, sweetly pecking at the said girl's cheeks.

 

Jessica giggles but knock her head. "Court me first."

 

"Tsk,tsk. You're just playing hard to get." Yuri couldn't help it and kiss Jessica on her lips. 

 

"Yah! Yoona is here! Aren't we suppose to go inside?" Jessica blushed profusely. She literally pushed Yuri a little away from her. 

 

"Yoona, it's okay for you, right?" Yuri turned to the doe-eyed girl before them.

 

"What?" The addressed girl was puzzled. "What is okay for me?"

 

"Me and your Director - together."

 

Jessica covered Yuri's mouth. "Don't mind her Yoong. She's talking out of this world topic." As she denies Yuri's words.

 

"Oh, Haha. Of course. Why would I stop you dating Director Jung. Go ahead. Loving someone is free." Yoona says, smiling brightly.

 

"Huh? How could you, Im Yoona!" Jessica exclaimed.

 

"Hahaha! See? Even your friend Yoona. She likes us together." Yuri giggles, pulling Jessica again to hug her behind. Jessica struggles to let go but she held her tight and tried to tickle her with her kiss on her neck. Jessica keeps on laughing instead, not minding if Yoona is in front of them anymore.

 

"I don't know with you guys. Seriously. But it's refreshing to see this." Yoona sure loved the sight. Jessica's happy and Yuri is too. All good things are really happening around her now. Turning her body around, she just left them without saying a word.

 

"YAH! IM YOONA!" Yuri shouted. Yet, Yoona just wave her hand in the air. Jessica literally pushed her lightly and catches up with her friend. The tan girl soon followed them inside.

"Yoongga... " Seohyun couldn't finished calling her girlfriend upon seeing who was behind her. Jessica bowed at her lightly, as they approached the table. She couldn't think of anything and just bow to the latter as well. She smiled back when the girl also smiled at her, and then to the rest of the gang. They then take their respective seats - while she took left side to Yoona. On the other side of the girl, Yuri take it, then Jessica.

 

Yoona leaned in to kiss her cheeks, and leaned out, smiling at her brightly.

 

"You okay?" The doe-eyed whispered.

 

"Yeah, just a bit tired with the grilling." says Seohyun, reassuringly smiled at the doe-eyed girl.
