28 | Bad Appa

 

 

 

"How'd you know it's me?"

 

"What are you doing here?" Again, Yoona questioned firmly. That was after she got herself inside the car without any hassle.

 

Mr. Kwon chuckled. "So it was really true. You are dating the girl my son has been crazy with And you look like you are crazy about her as well. Wow! I seriously think this girl has some powers. How could the siblings be in love to one person? That's just too absurd."

 

"What?" Yoona's eyebrows creased in confusion. "I am asking you why are you here?! Don't answer me I don't know!" She stated firmly. Mr. Kwon's words are just making her blood boils angrily. But she has to hold on.

 

"Don't pretend you don't know about this. That Seo Joohyun is the reason my son is not going to office now. And I hate her for that." Mr Kwon irritably stated.

 

Yoona frowned at the information she just learned. "What... are you trying to say? I don't know-"

 

"Kindly just go out? You're wasting my time!" Mr Kwon hissed, annoyingly.

 

Before Yoona could complain, a hand pulled her out of the car. Then out of a sudden, the car drives off, leaving her kicking pebbles on the ground, irritably. Yet, before she could think everything is fine, she has to rush back to her car again, as the media had spotted her.

 

Minho alertly reversed the car, quickly leaving the place with people chasing them.

 

Yoona then opened her phone to contact Seohyun. The girl didn't even let a second to pass and answer the call.

 

[Yoong? Where are you now?]

 

"We just left the apartment. But here's a thing - just go out there with the twins while the press and fans are chasing our car." Said Yoona, as she take a glance behind. Minho was intentionally driving the car so slow, while fans are and media are shouting outside.

 

[What? How- How about you?]

 

"It's okay we'll follow. You still have to drop Paul in his school right? Let's meet there."

 

[Yes. Hmm, Okay. Take care -- Daddy You owe us last night!!! -- Danny-ah! Give the phone back!]

 

Yoona chuckles upon hearing the noise she was hearing on the next line. It wasn't long enough and the call ended. She decided to send Seohyun a text message instead.

 

To Hyun Omma:

[I'll see you later baby. I love you!]

 

As her cheeks flushed because another cheesy 'I love you', Minho on the other hand had stop the car.

 

"Oh, I think we should just answer one question from them." Minho informed loud enough for the doe-eyed to avert her attention to the people outside. Now blocking their way.

 

"One question won't help, Oppa. I think I should just have a mini fan meet?" Yoona has a big grin forming her lips, as an idea pops out her brain.

 

"What's your plan?"

 

"A fan meet yo. But I need your assistance." Said Yoona confidently.

 

A smirk also appeared across Minho's features. Without further ado, He stepped out of the car and faces the press. Expectantly, the fans and press crowded him.

 

"Yoona will answer the questions. Yes, all of your questions. Let's wait for her to out." Yelled Minho, as he tried to walk forward with his hands in front, like he is telling them to give a way. And the same time, the people moves backward, waiting for the doe-eyed to come out.

 

Yoona took a glance behind, she immediately took the drive's seat and move the car backwards - away from the crowd. "Bye~ Bye~" she snickered as she continue to move backwards.

 

Minho was miraculously strong enough and tried to stop all of them from getting any further. It was a goof that the doe-eyed drives fast, he needed to stop now. Yet, He runs away immediately, as all of them started to him on him.

 

"Whoaaa!!! Yoonaaa Don't leave me hereeee!!!" Minho's voice echoed throughout the neighborhood.

 

 

Meanwhile, as Yoona find her way out, instantly connected her phone to a bluetooth and contacted Seohyun. Unfortunately for her, Seohyun seemed not answering. Rather than continuing her plan, she ended it and drove the car to the nearest flower shop before going to Paul's school.

 

Upon arriving, It wasn't she expect to see a lot of different flowers. The last time she bought, only rose was left because the store has a lot of costumers that day. Now, as she find herself in front of them, she doesn't know if she's going to pick roses again. Its not old anymore if she buys another rose, which is a trend.

 

"Miss Im, Aren't you choosing yet?" The owner of the shop softly ask her.

 

"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm kind of confuse on what to buy. Um, Can you help me?" Yoona sheepishly answered, rubbing the back of her head. Her cheeks turned a slight red. It's not the first time, but she always feel a little shy. Especially that the owner knows her.

 

"Hmm, Did something happened between you and your lover?"

 

Yoona pout her lips. "I made her cry last night. It should be so wonderful night, but got emotional out of a sudden. I made her cry and misunderstand my actions." She let out an audible sigh. If it's a random, she wouldn't be sharing this. But since the girl have been hearing about her, She was comfortable to say it.

 

"I see... So you want to make up out of it?"

 

Yoona shyly nodded her head.

 

"That's easy. Come inside." The owner said, as she lead the doe-eyed to her shop. Yoona followed and caught the sight of more flowers.

 

"Wait... " As the owner too her time, Yoona was behind, impatiently waiting.

 

When the owner of the shop finally picked up one flower out of the others, she turned to her and explained, "You need something like a... daisy. Why? Because it symbolizes innocence and purity. It conveys loyal love. It is simple yet sophisticated. Best flower for you to show how loyal and true is your love."

 

"Wow." was all that Yoona could say.

 

"You like it?" 

 

Yoona nodded enthusiastically. "It's just perfect for the girl I always wanted to feel my love."

 

"Okay. One boquet?"

 

"Definitely." said Yoona, giggling.

 

 

 

[Paul's School]

 

 

 

"Wait... go back here." Seohyun requested, once Paul had turn around and took baby steps towards the gate of his school. The latter stopped and only turn his head behind, grinning. She smiled and pointed to her cheeks. "I think baby Paul has forgotten something eh?"

 

Paul never forgot though. He intentionally skip the kiss so he will hear his mother calling him. And it was a success. Without any second thoughts, he went back and lean in to kiss his mother's cheeks in the left, then to her right. Giggling, he explained, "Omma forgot it - I think."

 

"Heh? Why would I forget the kiss?"

 

"Nothing. So you didn't?" Paul wrap his arms around his mother's neck. But to his dismay, the latter untangle it and pointed to the gate behind them. He pout his lips, yet, smiled brightly again - leaning in to kiss his mother's forehead affectionately. "Paul will behave. I promise." He said softly.

 

"I know... but hold on, baby." Seohyun noticed the hood was on the young boy's head. So she put it down and fixed his hair. "Have you finished the drawing book for your Daddy?"

 

Paul simply shake his head. "But tonight I'm going to continue it. Oops... sorry." Heck, he was reminded by the apartment. "Where are we staying tonight, Omma?"

 

"Don't think about it. Omma will use this day to find a place to stay. You are going to finish your book tonight, I promise you. Hmm?"

 

"But you said it will rain, right?" Paul got concerned. "Be careful Omma." 

 

"Of course, I will bring umbrella. There's no worries." Seohyun stated, patting her son's shoulders. "And you also have to use the umbrella while waiting for me later, Okay?"

 

Paul showed an okay sign. "Okay!"

 

"That's my boy. Now, where's your brother?" Looking around, Seohyun and Paul saw Daniel was on the bench nearby, standing above of it, while looking inside the school. "Aigoo." Seohyun audibly sighed, as she saw how much her son seemed to be envy with the kids inside, running around. She had Paul exchange an eye-smile before they approached him. 

 

"You have to climb to the gate if you want to be a monkey, buddy." joked Paul, earning an instant glare from his brother.

 

"But there are thorns above the gate baby." Seohyun giggles at Daniel's reaction.

 

"Ommaaa!!!" Daniel literally whined, stomping his feet.

 

"Yah! Paul will go inside now. Don't you want to hug him first?" Seohyun demanded, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

 

Paul and his brother smiled to one another. Right then, the playful kidwolf got off the bench and instead of a hug, they did a fist pump and chest pump. Seohyun watched with amusement in her eyes.

 

"We'll see you later, buddy, Okay?"

 

"Absolutely buddy." said Paul, was about to walk to the entrance gate when his brother got his wrist and pulled him over. "Hmm?" He creased his eyebrows in confusions.

 

Daniel looked up to their mother with pout. "Omma, can I go with buddy? Please? Danny wants to meet a real teacher not Aunt Sunny anymore." a sad pout precisely. Seeing those other kids passing through them, he feels like he was left out. "Look, there are brothers going on the same school as well. I want to go with him. Huhu... " 

 

"Um, of course... you can... b-but baby, I've already set your enrollment fee for next year. It's going to be hassle if it's today or at this semester. Next year, I'm sure you and your buddy will be classmate. How cool is that, right?" Seohyun felt bad for her son as well, but she can't let him. Her money for her son's education, was already set for next year. She doesn't want to rush the things for him.

 

Convinced, Daniel let go of his brother's wrist and give him a light punch on the chest. "You should go now."

 

Yet, Paul gives his brother a comforting bear hug before he made his way to the entrance gate. Seohyun saw it with a proud smile.

 

"Shall we?"

 

"We are waiting Daddy here, right?" Daniel stated fact.

 

"I mean, shall we take the bench instead of standing here?" Seohyun chuckles, explaining her prior words. "Omma needs to rest her legs." 

 

Without any words, Daniel took his mother's hand and casually took their seats to the the nearby bench, outside the nursery school.

 

"Omma, I wonder if where's Appa?" ask Daniel, once he spotted a young boy in his age, being dropped by his father. The thought of a father by his side just crosses his mind. Yet, he smiled brightly when he thought of his Yoong Daddy.

 

Seohyun haven't even rested her legs well when she heard it, that took her by surprise. "Why... why are you asking, baby?" And she wonders if Daniel has been thinking of his father?

 

"Nothing. Just asking. Hehe don't get me wrong Omma. I know you don't want to see him - I too doesn't want... but you know what, Omma? I have Yoong Daddy already. I don't think He needs to appear, right?"

 

"Uh... Y-Yeah... I-I... guess so." Seohyun couldn't react well. She sighed, scolding herself again for not telling her son yet. This is the last thing she's going to reveal to Daniel, which is a bit sensitive for him.

 

Looking up to meet his mother's gazes on him, Daniel continued, "Omma, if he will appear again - tell Danny, Okay? Coz I will punch him for hurting you."

 

"Ok-Kay. Omma will tell you." In spite of that, Seohyun smiled, finding it adorable for her son to protect him. But there was a part of her that she blame herself, for telling her son her father is bad - that's why he hurt her. It was such a mistake for her as a mother. She let him hate his father because she hated Yul.

 

Satisfied, Daniel moved closer and wrapped his one arm around his mother's slim waist. "Yoong Daddy... why so late again? I thought we're filming early?" The air had suddenly felt cold, he needs some warm from his mother.

 

Seohyun got her son's intention, so she moved more closer, wrapping one arm around him as well. Yet, opposite to him, she was thinking about Yul and Daniel, putting in one place, so she can introduce them as officially. But she sighed, once she was reminded about last night. She needs to talk to him about her relationship with Yoona.

 

"Omma... " Daniel nudges his mother after he noticed she was in deep thoughts.

 

"Hmm? Baby?"

 

"What are you thinking?" 

 

Seohyun's lips formed into a simple smile. She pinched her son's cheeks and says, "I'm thinking about you and your studies. Are you excited about it?" she pushed the thoughts away for the meantime.

 

"Yes! Danny is so excited!!!"

 

"What are you excited more? Learning new things or making friends?" Seohyun felt the excitement in her son's bright response.

 

Daniel grinned. "Making more friends." As his mind crosses a playground, and he is playing with them.

 

Seohyun rolled her eyes. She reached for the latter's both cheeks and pinched it hardly. "Why are you so adorableee" 

 

The young boy giggles and put his palms to his mother too. "You are more adorable Ommaaaaa" as he shake her head rather.

 

Seohyun literally pulled away and playfully glare at her son. But damn, the kidwolf will always stuck his tongue, pissing her off. Yet, before she could get her revenge, Daniel suddenly pointed something.

 

"Omma! Let's buy that!" As she her head, she saw a cotton candy store that just opened across the road. 

 

"You want that?"

 

Daniel nodded his head vigorously. "You will buy for us?" and smile from ear to ear.

 

"But it's-"

 

"I'll wait for you here. Come on." Daniel didn't let his mother say her words anymore as he pushed her. Seohyun knocked his head and complied. He snickered victoriously, as he watches his mother cross the road. Shortly, she went back with a blue cotton candy and pink cotton candy. He just immediately grabs the blue and, "Thank You, my lovely Omma~~~" say his thanks with his cute aegyo.

 

Seohyun cringe and so eager wanted to squeeze her son - too bad the evil son of her quickly moves away and put his attention to his cotton candy. She shrugs the thoughts and move closer, so she can also have her own cotton candy. Felt like a kid a kid at heart, she enjoyed it along with her son.

 

A few moments later, Daniel realized his cotton candy is fast finishing. Whilst, when he looked at his mother's the latter is not eating it a lot. She would only pick a little from time to time. An idea just came to his mind. "Omma... "

 

"Hmm?" Seohyun obliviously looked down to her son.

 

"Look, Yoong Daddy is here!" Daniel quickly pointed behind his mother. Consequently, she turned. In which, he took this a chance and quickly leaned in to his mother's cotton candy and bite on it. Right on time, he compose himself while silently letting the sweet melt his mouth - like he didn't did something.

 

"Where? Why am I not seeing her?" Still oblivious, Seohyun wondered if her son really saw Yoona.

 

"I saw her. But I think It wasn't her. Hehe..." snickered Daniel.

 

"Aish. Stop fooling around." Seohyun just shrugs and turned to her cotton. Yet before she could even bite on it, Daniel once again shouted.

 

"Omma there! The car! Yoong Daddy is here!!!" She literally turned again, hoping it's already the doe-eyed. Daniel immediately dive to the cotton candy and bit a big one. But sensing his mother won't turn immediately, he hurriedly just picked in both hands.

 

"Geez, I think you're just missing her." Seohyun turned to her son again, only to see him back facing her. Her brows raised in curiosity. "Baby, what are you doing?" as she poke at his shoulder, he surprisingly jumps off of his seat. Yet, he was laughing. "Omo. Are you... " Seohyun realized her son's face turned pink, which means - She looked at her cotton candy -- it's almost finished. Scoffing, she can't believe her son just trolled her with Yoona just so he could eat her cotton candy.

 

"Omma, I love you~ Thanks for the sweets~" Daniel stopped from laughing, and went back to his seat, grinning widely.

 

"Come closer here." Seohyun seriously instructed.

 

"Hehe, No." Moving away, Daniel snickered.

 

Yet, Seohyun moves closer. "I said closer Daniel Seo!" She stated firmly.

 

"I said NO! Omma!!!" Daniel mimicked his mother.

 

"Don't talked like that to me, Baby." Seohyun scolded that instant.

 

"Sorry." Pouting cutely again, Daniel looked down.

 

Satisfied, Seohyun moved fast and quickly trapped her son with her hug. She took the backpack using her free hand and brought the baby wipers out of it. "Look up." She instructed, which the latter complied obediently. She snickered, as she wipe his cheeks and the corner of his lips. 

 

"Omma not mad, right?"

 

"Nope. But don't ya dare do that to me again. You know I'm the older."

 

"Okay." Daniel sighed and smiled.

 

Seohyun finished wiping her son's face by kissing his cheeks and put the wipers back to his backpack. Out of a sudden, she can see her son's eyes widening, but he wasn't saying anything. "What is it again? Yah! You can't fool me anymore!" She had enough. So she didn't turn and instead, she checks on his backpack, if she put the necessary stuffs for his son.

 

"Omma! Daddy is here already!!! Loook!!!" Daniel exclaimed, trying to turn his mother's head behind. But the latter is strong enough that he can't turn it. 

 

Seohyun stuck her tongue out and proceeds on checking the milk powder. 

 

"Yaaaa!!! It's really Daddy... Shshs... " Daniel giggles, putting his finger against his lips once Yoona signal him to shut his mouth.

 

Little by little, Yoona got closer and closer. Seohyun still busy. She carefully sat down behind the girl and slowly, she wrap one arm around her girlfriend, whispering, "For the beautiful Omma I've ever seen~" showing the flower instantly.

 

Startled, Seohyun moves backwards, but only to feel someone's front on her back. She looked back -- hit Yoona's shoulders right away. "YAH! What the hell!" she keeps on hitting her, like she hadn't been surprise of her entire life. Her son on the side chuckles amusingly.

 

Yoona ignore the slap and lean to somehow gives her girlfriend a kiss when suddenly, Daniel took his seat between them and looked at her with a warning look. "What? I was just-"

 

"The reward the last time is over, Daddy. And you still owe us last night!" Daniel cut off with firm voice.

 

"What Owe?" Yoona looked at Seohyun quizzically.

 

Seohyun chuckles. "Last night, you didn't arrived. They were sad about it."

 

"Chin... cha?"

 

"Yes! So you owe us one day out!" Daniel seriously stated.

 

Yoona sighed and looked down to her flowers. "Can I at least give this to your mother, Danny?" 

 

"No. Give me that!" Daniel grabbed the flowers right away - hugging it with his small arms. Seohyun just raised her shoulders to Yoona, earning her rolling of eyes. 

 

"Fine. Come here. We're late to our shoot." Yoona then grabbed Daniel up and stood up. 

 

"I guess I can't go with you guys." However, Seohyun's plan changed - after their landlord had kick them out.

 

"What? Why?" Yoona and Daniel exclaimed in unison. Both didn't expect it.

 

"Why Omma?" The youngest especially ask his mother.

 

Seohyun stepped closer and fixed her son's hair before answering, "Omma should look a place to stay tonight, right? I'll be using this day to look for another apartment."

 

"What? Apartment? You guys has an apartment... why... Omo! Don't tell me you were kicked out?" Yoona frowned to realized the situation.

 

Even though she doesn't want to share it, Seohyun has no choice and nod to confirm it. "But I'll be finding a new one. I think a small apartment will do, for tonight."

 

"Damn, and why did you guys was kick out? This is ridiculous!" Yoona was sure her blood boils in anger again.

 

"I hope I know Yoong. But it's Okay. It's not like we can stay there forever. Sooner or later, they'll kick us. Um, you guys should enjoy the filming. I'll be careful on my own. Hmm?" Seohyun said suggestively. She reached for Yoona's hair and fixed the side of her bangs a little. The girl looked at her with a pout, whilst Daniel sighed and kissed her on the cheeks.

 

"I'll see you lunch, Omma."

 

"Of course."

 

Yoona sighed. "Aigoo, call me when you can't find one, Hmm?"

 

"I'll try." Seohyun giggles. "You guys should go now."

 

Yoona just smiled and finally turn on her back, ready to leave when she changed her mind and put Daniel down, before she went back. Only to peck at Seohyun's lips. Daniel didn't see it coming, as he could only pinched Yoona's cheeks so hard as soon as the latter picked him up again.

 

"AHHHHHH!!!!!!" Yoona yelled in pain furiously. As much as she wanted to get her revenge, they're really coming late. So she simply runs them to the car and drive them off the place.

 

"Tsk,tsk, choding." Seohyun watch in amusement. But cheeks are currently reddening because of that lingering kiss Yoona did. She sighed audibly and finally look for a cab.

 

Shortly, she felt more the wind, becoming so cold when it suddenly blows her skin. She has to hug herself tightly while she continues to look for a cab.

 

A few minutes later, Yoona's car suddenly went back. And before she knows it, Yoona went out the car, taking off her jacket and put it on her shoulders.

 

"I've seen the weather forecast - It'll rain a lot today. Take care, baby." Yoona said and kissed her forehead. She sweetly smiled and pinched her chubby cheeks before leaving to the car, not waiting for any response anymore. Otherwise, Daniel will be mad with her.

 

Seohyun stood at the side of the road, blinking a couple of times. Blushing profusely and feeling her heart beating like the first time it beats romantically for the doe-eyed. She can't help it and cupped her cheeks, shaking her head in the process.
