31 | The Plan

Blushing like a tomato, the couple sits next to each other in their breakfast, uncomfortable in their seats. The eyes are on them, who wouldn't? It didn't came from Yeri and Seulgi only, maids and few butlers inside the dining room are staring them like they're celebrities. 

 

'Why must Yeri tell the maids too?' Seohyun sighs as she continue to eat her meal quietly.

 

'Did the King told the maids and butlers?' Yoona also thought at the back of her head. She barely could touch her meal. But as a respect to the family and her hungry stomach, she shrugs the stares, but definitely she's too uncomfortable. She feels like she's in a hot seat with their burning stares.

 

'When are they going to stop?'

 

'Ugh, I shouldn't have fainted yesterday.'

 

'Was there something in our faces? Oh no, I hope there's none.'

 

'At least the king doesn't pay attention to us anymore.'

 

'Yeri, you're so dead.'

 

'When are they planning to stop staring at me? I think all of their eyes are on me, nothing for Seohyun'

 

'I shouldn't have told Appa about us.. Aigoo..."

 

The couple sighed at the same time.

After some time of silence between the three of them, Yoona bravely takes the chance to do as what plans.

 

"Your highness, please allow me to take care of your daughter." She said clearly while bowing 180 degrees.

 

The King looked at his daughter with brows creasing. The latter is smiling warmly towards him.

 

"I know you already know about our relationship since last night but I respected you so much like the way I do for your daughter. So I would like to ask for your blessings formally." Yoona added as she continued bowing. "I promise, I won't ever hurt her, instead... I will always make her happy. Just like my motto, happiness is the best policy."

 

The King felt awkward but he somehow loved what he is seeing. Yoona is indeed a good person. His impressions are correct. "Stop it now. Just take your seat." He just casually gestures her with his hand.

 

Yoona complied, taking her seat next to her girlfriend. Who automatically held her hand.

 

"I'm glad to see this side of yours. You've never fails my expectations. As I can see right now, both of you are young and can freely love each other. It's something that I am not against with. You make my daughter happy Yoona, so who am I to stop that? Just don't fail me with your promises araso? Otherwise, you know who will be your enemy." The King smirked playfully, earning a nervous smile from both girls. "But really... You can freely date her. Oh, I think you know your priorities at the moment, right? Reach your dreams first."

 

"Of-of course your highness." Yoona replied instantly.

 

"And with all honesty, strictly no love making." The King seriously added. He didn't care if his words are straightforward. It's easier to understand if he does it like that after all.

 

Seohyun and Yoona looked into each other's eyes. Both cheeks slowly turned red as the thought of their steamy nights last night. That kissing in the rain they had ended up in one unforgettable night in one of the guests room inside the palace. 

 

"Ah... That. Um, of course your highness. We are still both innocent when it comes to that stuffs. And I respect your daughter, always.. So... That's not likely happening anytime soon. Hehe." Yoona sheepishly answered, earning a tight hold from her girlfriend. 'Dang, why does he had to mention stuffs like this? Weird King.'

 

Seohyun, who is quiet is mentally scolding herself. She got no power to stop that night. Heck, she did not regret that happened.

 

"That's good to know. I think that's all for my rule. I wish you guys a very happy relationship." The King beamed in his smile. He stood up which the couple almost instantly copied. "I'll go ahead princess. I'll see you both in the festival." He said for the last time before he casually left the living room.

 

Seohyun literally hit her girlfriend's arm after her father left. "Seriously! Why'd you have to mention 'innocent' when we already did it?"

 

"What do you want me to tell him? That... Appa, sorry... we already did it last night and it was awesome?" Yoona chuckles earning another hit from her flustered girlfriend. "Yah! At least he really gives us the blessings now. Why don't we behave now? Eh?"

 

"We're not really going to do that anymore!" Seohyun stomps her feet.

 

"Oh, don't say things you can't do, Penguin." Yoona teases. She quickly jumps away from her girlfriend before the latter could hit her again.

 

"Aish. I couldn't believe we just lied again." Seohyun huffs and crosses her arms, taking her seat back to the couch.

 

Yoona hastily flopped to the couch. "But I got some plans on how to do this. I mean, we couldn't hide this for a long time. Otherwise, we're like the worse person in the world."

 

"Hmm? You have the idea now, Yoongie?"

 

Yoona pointed to her cheek. "Yoongie needs a kiss first."

 

"Ugh, just say it." Seohyun pushes the latter's face away from her.

 

Yoona chuckled. "Fine. Um... So my plan is..."

 

Seohyun raised her brows, as she anticipates to know.

 

"My plan is to visit Appa today. In his lunch... to try on mentioning our relationship. You don't know but my Appa really loves me. I will take advantage in this and try to convince him." Yoona replied, glancing over the girl next to her. Seohyun was a bit surprised. "And you have to help me."

 

"What help?" Seohyun felt her heart beating anxiously

 

"I'm planning to cook for his favorite dishes. Do you want to go to a public market with me?" Yoona grinned inwardly.

 

"Where are we going to cook for it?" But despite the nervousness, Seohyun got excited.

 

"I know a place to do this. So are you in?" Yoona showed her hand. And without hesitations, the younger girl held it.

 

"Of course." Seohyun beamed. She shakes their hands playfully, earning a peck on her cheek. She giggles and hit Yoona again on her arm. The latter pulled her for a comforting and affectionate hug. She sighed and rested her head to her shoulder. "I'm glad to have shared this to you."

 

"And I'm glad you never lose hope." Yoona whispers back, gently pressing her lips against the younger girl's forehead.

The Festival will run for a day, but since Yoona decided to do it in lunch time, the couple bid farewell to the King earlier. Yeri and Seulgi are both so jealous of the couple going out for a lunch date.

 

"Captain Im. I'm watching you." But Yeri can't do anything about it anymore. So she ends up threatening the doe-eyed girl with her eyes. Whilst the two casually take the royal black car waiting for them without even a care to Yeri's threats.

 

Seulgi on the other hand just stood in the side, taking photos of the two inside the car, like a serious photographer. Until they have drives off the parking lot, she was still snapping photos.

 

"I've never seen Unnie this happy." Yeri utters, sighing.

 

"Why is that?" Seulgi stopped taking photos that instant, averting her attention to the younger girl.

 

"Appa told me... Ever since her Omma died, she loses her sparkle in her eyes. I agree with that. Because before Captain Im went back to her life, I sometimes see Unnie sulking in one place. She felt alone almost all the time in her school. Irene, her friend is not always in her side. People in her University barely could talk to her though, because of the strict security for her. Unnie always complain about it but she later couldn't do anything." Yeri sadly pout. "But now that Captain Im is with her, I think she has her sparkle back. And since she left to London. Probably living away from us gives her freedom to whatever she likes to do."

 

"That's pretty making a sense." Seulgi muttered, flashing a bright smile. Then she took a photo of the young princess in front of her. Yeri almost instantly poses in front of it.

Smiling like an idiot, Yoona couldn't believe this will happen anytime soon. Her hand, holding Seohyun's under the wheels. While here she is, driving them. After couple of times convincing Director Shin earlier though. That old man will always be like a strict father. Thanks to Seohyun's charm as well and they have convinced him.

 

"Why are you smiling?" Seohyun finally noticed her girlfriend is smiling for no reason. She had been looking outside for the past couple of minutes that she just noticed it now.

 

Yoona squeezes Seohyun's hand gently with affection as response. Seohyun's eyes traveled to their hands, her lips pulled into a sweet innocent smile. She now understands why the girl is smiling. 

 

"Is it because we're doing this freely?" She asks in a bit teasing way.

 

"You know, I always dreamed about of driving us while I'm holding your hand. Didn't know this would happen this too soon. But... well, it took how many months also?"

 

"What about your scooter by the way?" Seohyun's mind crosses about their ride back in London.

 

Yoona briefly glances to her girlfriend. "Of course I prefer that more. Because I always get a free back hug from my Penguin." she answered with such glee. Only to receive a pinch on her expose ear. "Are you going to start pinching me in my ear this time?" It's good and she braids her hair and put on a baseball cap that her girlfriend seems to realize she has a beautiful ears.

 

"You look like Elsa in Frozen." Seohyun praises as she giggles.

 

"Oh Chincha? Then don't tell me, you're Anna?"

 

"We're not sisters." 

 

Yoona chuckles at Seohyun's sulky face. "Just kidding. Of course not. That won't ever happened yo." She kissed the back of her hand in making it up. With that, she can see her girlfriend's face brighten up again. "So you have visited the public market of your country, your highness?"

 

"What?" Seohyun couldn't seem to like the honorifics in Yoona's words again.

 

"You know you're a crowned princess. I supposed you have visited every places in this country?"

 

"Ugh, Yoongie. Don't say that please. You know you're also a princess." Seohyun stated as a fact.

 

"I'm not crowned. Aigoo, I was just being playful though. Why so serious?" Yoona shook her head in disbelief. She was only being playful yet her girlfriend take it serious.

 

A sigh escapes the young crowned princess' lips. "I thought you want to mock something on me."

 

"Of course not."

 

"Don't bother it anyway." Seohyun shrugs her shoulders. She looked outside and another smile creeps her lips, loving the bright weather of Autumn outside. 

 

Yoona smiled on her own at the same time the younger girl did. Just then, she has to stop when the traffic lights changes, as the car ahead them also stops automatically. "This is a smart glass, right?"

 

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Seohyun tilted her head eventually to Yoona.

 

"We can't be seen inside the car?" Yoona also faces her girlfriend.

 

"Yep. For safety purposes and... " Seohyun pauses as soon as she can see Yoona unbuckling her seat belt, causing for her raised her brows. "What... are you doing?" Before she knows it, the girl's face is inches away from her that she could feel the warmth from her breath, litting her up like a candle. A rush of heat started in her chest and slowly spread through out her body, reaching every limbs. She could feel her eyes watching her every move, from the slight twitch of her lip to the way her shoulders rose and fell as she breathed. She stopped just as their lips are an inch apart, her eyes closes slowly, breathless already to what will about to come. Her hand brushes the hair, tucking it behind her ear and in an instant, her lips were on hers. It's smooth and sweet. Their lips are perfect for each other.

 

Without missing a beat, their lips are in sync, moving around each other. Both couldn't get enough of each other.

 

Seohyun can't help but held into Yoona's shoulder for a support. She's melting so much, in every of Yoona's lips against hers. Yet, she loved the feeling. It's addicting. Yoona is addictive - the girl should do something about this.

 

Yoona, she's like in europhia every time their lips meet each other. It's as if, the problems are nothing with their lips moving together. If she can kiss her never ending, she sure can keep this relationship going until forever.

 

"Hmm... " The car is literally filled with their moans. In the middle of a traffic, one couple are in their own world, killing the time with their love.

 

But before the car could even move, they have to slowly stop as the air is always needed. Their foreheads are still against each other as they catch on their breath. Both chests are moving up and down in sync.

 

After a while, when they got enough air, Seohyun initiated another kiss, which Yoona gladly accepted.

For safety purposes, Seohyun hides her identity by wearing Yoona's baseball cap and a face mask, as they went into a shopping spree in a public market. Despite hiding her identity, she's enjoying. Especially that it's her first time. Which happens to be with someone so special to her heart.

 

Laughters, giggles, pinching cheeks and more sweet gestures can be seen by the two who couldn't let go of each other. It's like there are only the two of them in the world, they don't care the surroundings. Each moment are just too precious that they are savoring them before it could lasts.

 

"So we have it all?" Seohyun put the last plastic bag in the car's trunk with a curious look to her girlfriend.

 

"Yup. We have it all. All we need to do is to cook this. Come on." Yoona signals her girlfriend as she closes the trunk and she takes over the driver's seat.

 

Seohyun casually took over the front right away. "So where are we going to cook this? We can't use the palace's kitchen, Yoongie." She said as she buckled her seat belt and put away her face mask.

 

"You'll see later." Yoona meaningfully stated as she turns on the engine and carefully drives off.

 

"Hmm okay. As long as you're not kidnapping me." Seohyun gigglea. Yoona's hand opens and she instantly held it.
