03 | Yoona's Mission 1.2

 

 

[Yul's Condo]

 

 

One young man opened his eyes slowly... but surely. He had a few blinks here and there before having a good vision of his sorrounding. Of course, he's still at home -- his condo. And that made it sound safe. However, the nightmare -- it doesn't sound safe for him.

 

"Joohyun, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry... but I have to do this. I can't reach my dreams if I stick with you. I'm so sorry." He was crying -- holding the girl he promised to marry soon. He knows it's gonna be such a big decision but he can't do anything. If he won't leave her, he can no longer be the man he wanted to be. "I promise -- I will go back. For you and our unborn child. Okay? Please, wait for me. And I'm sorry again. I love you so much. I will always love you." he keeps on crying like there's no tomorrow. The girl on his arms was the same. But the difference was, she's begging him to stay. She's begging him to be her son's father. And above all, she was promising him that they it together -- in raising their child.

 

But despite the pleads, he let go of her. He turned around, ready to leave when the girl hold him by the waist. He needed to force her to let go and finally leave.

 

While he is heading to the car that was awaiting for him, he heard her scream his name.

 

"KWON YUUUUUL!!! OPPAAAA!!!"

 

Hee keeps on walking and walking, until he was inside, he was still crying -- not minding the calls from his father at the passenger seat.

 

When the car finally moves, that was the time he told himself -- he can no longer go back and change his decisions.

 

Sighing, as he recalled that nightmare again, he slowly tilted his head to the window -- where he can see the sun shining so bright. He closes his eyes to enjoy the heat of it, on his face. He certainly loves it when the sun shines on his face. He felt so relax. He felt so alive.

 

And while he is enjoying it, a gentle smile slowly draws his face. "Joohyun -- I hope to see you back... ."

 

 

 

[Im Mansion]

 

 

The morning comes so fast for a certain young doe-eyed actress/rookie drunk girl. She woke up with a bad headache and a bad sunlight coming inside her room. Sitting up, she groaned, slapped her head and yawn so big.

 

"What happened last night was horrible!!!" of course, her mind is aware what happened last night. Only that, she can only remember the moment they arrived at home - and Seohyun was there to assist her all the way to her room. She was having a headache, but she can't help but smile, recalling the moment the girl was so nice to make her a drink to make her sober. And to see herself in a pajama, because the girl was so annoying, asking her to change clothes instead of only going to sleep with her pants. She can't complain - so she ends up complying. But her apparent headache is seriously kicking. She barely could have her energy to move. "50 shots of tequila, Unbelievable." Mumbles her, running her fingers through her silky hair. Turning on her head to right, she caught the sight of a glass of water, with a cover on top. And a pill next to it. Without putting any mind of it, she picked up a small paper next to the glass. She unfolded it and a message came as:

 

In case you wake up with a bad headache. Take the pill. - Nurse Seohyun ^^

 

Glancing over the said medicine, She cocked one brow. "So did she stay over a little? Not bad." Reaching for the pill and glass of water, she drink the pill casually. Then, she put it aside, got off the bed and proceeds to the bathroom with soft steps. Due to the headache, she couldn't even have a clear vision. But later on, when she had washes her face and did her shower, her body has gone back to normal.

 

She was chilling in her sofa, watching some sort of a morning show while having her simple breakfast, when she was already hearing a car roaring outside. She got off and approaches the big window to have a peek. "Oh, just like I had expect it." a bright smile instantly spread across her face once she can see through outside, a porsche pulled over in front of the mansion. 

 

Going back to the living room, she took the glass of milk and a cookie as she quickly headed outside and greeted the person with such welcoming face.

 

"Have you eaten breakfast? I got you mine." She said, showing the things in her grasp.

 

Yul, who was already smiling as he was getting closer and closer, suddenly dashes and knock on Yoona's head, chuckling. "I am not here for that - babo. I just want to see you again if you survived last night's clubbing? You did not create any scandal or... mess right?" 

 

Yoona was about to have a bite on the cookie when she meet the air -- Yul was fast from stealing the cookie. "Yah! That was mine!" she eventually complained. But was too late - Yul had thrown it to his mouth. "Aish, look who is like an alligator." 

 

"Pfft. Alligator you say? I think you should tell that to yourself. But serious, what happened last night? How was the clubbing?" Yul gestures Yoona to come with him to the garden. The latter complied almost immediately.

 

"That wasn't really a club or anything. Especially that it happened in a hotel. Yet, there was some club music, so yeah... still clubbing and celebrating my friend's birthday." Said Yoona, as she took her seat when Yul also did so. "And yes, I remember, the birthday girl... she confessed her feelings to me." Yet, she sighed when she recalled why she got drunk. She doesn't want to remember the girl's confession but hell no, it reminded her after saying the things to her brother.

 

"Who?" Yul casually reaches for the glass of milk and have a few gulps only. "Don't tell me... that girl who actually almost had a scandal with you? If it wasn't for me that arrived the place before things go out of hand."

 

"No, its not her. You know she already broke the friendship out of embarrassmenr. But it's a girl whom I know for a long time."

 

"Okay just spill it, twin."

 

"She's the girl that has the same field with me."

 

Yul can't think anyone but -- "Wendy?"

 

"Yes." And Yoona quickly confirmed with a grin across her face. "You know her already?"

 

"Gosh, she's in the same agency with you -- who would I think that closes to you? Aigoo, stop being so immature of it."

 

"Well, it's just a little surprised. You really stay on track about me, no?" Yoona can't help it and brother.

 

"Pfft. Why would I? I was just guessing."

 

Yoona giggles. "So you wouldn't know I dumped her."

 

"Not surprising." Yul muttered softly. He was used to it -- everytime there's someone who would confess to her sister. It's easy for her to decline or just ignore such feelings from another person.

 

"At least show some reactions ya know."

 

"What?! That was my reaction!"

 

"It's more like you just sighed to me."

 

Yul chuckles amusingly. "You know what you are saying? You're being emo. Aigoo, such a small thing."

 

"Well... " Yoona paused and finished her milk, before continuing her words. "What are you doing here, anyway?"

 

Yul stopped momentarily on his tracks - reminding himself the reason of his visit. Supposedly, he is staying for the time being. But due to change of schedules, the reason has also changed. "I'm going to Jeju later. I'm just here to inform you."

 

"Whoa! Chincha? For what? Can I tag along?" The information just made Yoona's eyes brightens. She suddenly thought of swimming or any other water sports.

 

"Nope. You can't. It's going to be a business thing I am going there. It's a 5 days of stay there -- you don't have to come with me. However, I want you to list something you want me to buy while I am away. Like the last time, Yoona?" Yul grin, recalling their usual doings back in the U.S.

 

"Oh yeah, I remember. Yes, hold on. I'm going to list a lot of this." Getting up, Yoona excitedly runs off back to the house. Yul was left, smiling to his choding sister. He took this as a chance and check on his messages. He wasn't surprise at all and saw a message from Suzy, reminding him about the Jeju stay. He shrugged it off and checks on the important messages instead.

 

Soon after, Yoona went back, handling Yul a skicky note to her brother.

 

"You buy all of that, Okay?" The girl was seen so excited to see him back already.

 

"Tsk, of course." Yul said simply, as he got up and patted Yoona's head before he casually leave. Yoona on the other hand, also walked him back to the front yard. While they're on the way, they keep on bumping into each other, side by side. Then, Yoona would punched her brother's arm, but the latter won't get his revenge. She was taking it advantage until Yul lifted her up on his broad shoulders and run all the way - until they arrived.

 

"You. You take care Okay?" said Yul, reminding his sister. His only sister.

 

Watching Yul inside the car, Yoona pat her chest. "I'm Him Yoona. No need to remind me brother." she was so confident.

 

"Yeah, yeah... so don't think of contacting me if it's non sense." Yul also added, as he finally drives off. "Or I would kill you -- seriously!" chuckles him before rolling the window to close it. 

 

The doe-eyed actress waves her hand - watching the car is slowly disappearing in her eyes. She stopped only when there's nothing she can see.

 

"Aigoo, He's always like that. Tch, what else I can do? This is the life He chose for himself." Yoona sighed, somehow disappointed that her brother chooses to become a business man rather than chasing his dream to be a Doctor. Life was indeed unpredictable. Unfortunately, she needed to blame her brother's father -- Mister Kwon.

 

"Um, Miss Im, your phone -- I mean your manager is calling." A butler approached her, handling her - her phone. 

 

Without looking into her butler, she took the device and answered - "Oppa, what's up?" along with her brightest greeting.

 

[What's up? Are you ing kidding me? Do you even remember what are you going to do today after your night life last night?]

 

"Huh? What am I going to do?" Having no clue, Yoona's rising of eyebrows are so innocent. She turned around and make her way back inside. "Do I have a schedule? I don't seem to remember." and fortunately after her trending run in the road, she has no more details about her schedule. "I have a schedule? Wow!" She was chuckling softly, as she makes herself comfortable back to the sofa. "Do I need to prepare a lot of wardrobes? Um... do I need to ask for a make-up artist? What?" but she was excited, thinking of a new schedule she might do today.

 

[I'm on way in the mansion. Do wait for me in the living room. And please, no need to prepare wardrobes and call for a make-up artist. We have them in the filming site.]

 

"Whoa? Filming? So the drama schedule was resume? I mean-"

 

[No! You know you only had 10 episodes of that previous drama. I'm talking about another thing. I'll tell you the details later.]

 

With that, the phone call ended. Yoona slowly turned her head to the phone screen and was innocently feeling a bit weird of this new schedule. Yet, a seemingly big grin crosses her features, thinking of Yes! an opportunity for a stardom. "Well then, I don't mind." she said, obliviously. However, instead of staying in the living room, she excitedly climb upstairs and headed to her room. She hurriedly check on her wardrobe and brought a total of 5 pairs of clothes. Then, she proceeds to her shoes room, she was hoping to see her rilakkuma shoes when she suddenly found nothing but only her plain shoes. "Holy... what's... where did my rilakkuma go? Don't tell me someone stole it? Or... did it walk by itself?" she giggles of the silly innocent thoughts.

 

She went out and called a maid to ask if they had seen anyone sneaking in to her room. Unfortunately no one didn't see, yet, they could only suspect the girl last night -- who was the only one who entered the room.

 

"I only know her name, but never tried to ask her number." she said to the maid, when she was ask if she knows the girl well.

 

 

 

[Seo Apartment]

 

 

"Number one rule -- B.E.H.A.V.E... Behave." Daniel said, smiling so playfully to his mother. He believes that he did the spelling correctly. He opened his mouth, ready to eat the rice from the spoon his mother will feed him, when the latter only looked at him. He closed his mouth again, shows his poker face like his mother is currently wearing.

 

When Seohyun sighed, He also sighed... but was quickly giggling. When the latter pout her lips, he also pouted, with an additional puffing cheeks. "Look, my cheeks are so puffy likes yours." and even cupped his cheeks. Then, when his mother rub her temples, he also did so.
