At the end of the day, when the sky was getting dark and night falling, Yerin walked SinB back to her house. They were holding hands all the way and SinB never felt more at peace in her life.

She looked at Yerin and smiled. This girl was just so perfect, perfect for her. SinB smiled to herself as she remembered the first time she saw Yerin, when they bumped into each other at the university cafeteria. 

SinB’s clothes were ruined and Yerin insisted to buy her new clothes. It all started with a stupid incident. They had ups and downs, more like a lot of downs but now they found each others and SinB couldn’t dream of something better.

It took time and a lot of painful experiences but SinB didn’t regret anything, she was where she was supposed to be with the girl she loved more than anything.

“What are you thinking about?” asked Yerin as they were still walking and almost reaching SinB’s street now. “You didn’t say a word since we left the restaurant.”

“I love you.” said SinB and Yerin stopped to look at her.

“But?”

“No buts.” said SinB. “I just love you so much, it’s incredible.”

“And I love you too SinB.” answered Yerin before looking at SinB’s lips. SinB smiled and kissed Yerin knowing it was what the girl wanted too.

They walked some more and stopped in front of SinB’s house.

“I will talk to my parents tonight, about us.” said SinB determined.

“Really?” asked Yerin unsure. “Are you sure you are ready for that?”

SinB bit her lips. “Well my dad already know and it's only a matter of time before my mom do too…” said SinB seriously before getting closer and taking Yerin in her arms. “Because I don’t want to hide and I really can’t keep my hands off you.” she added and Yerin smiled stealing a kiss from SinB.

“Well I can’t either.” she said and kissed her again. They stayed in each other’s arms some minutes, their foreheads touching and relaxing together.

“Do you want me to be with you?” asked Yerin and SinB shook her head.

“No it will be fine.” she said and Yerin nodded. “Well, let me know how it goes okay?” she said and SinB nodded.

“I will message you when it’s done.” she said and kissed Yerin one more time. “I love you, good night.” she said and Yerin smiled 

“I love you too.” she answered before walking away.

SinB took a deep breath and entered the house. “I’m home.” she said as she walked to the living room. Her parents were both sitting on the couch watching tv.

They looked up at her and she sat next to them. “How was your day?” asked SinB’s mom and SinB smiled.

“It was great.” she said and SinB’s dad smiled at her.

“What are you guys watching?” she asked and her mom pointed to the screen.

“It’s a documentary about dinosaurs.” she just said and SinB nodded. She hesitated, her parents were focused on the tv and SinB wasn’t sure it was a good moment, maybe it was too soon…

“What’s wrong?” asked suddenly SinB’s mom and SinB looked up meeting eyes with her mother.

“I… I need to tell you something.” she started unsure and her dad looked at her before sitting more straight on the couch, already knowing what SinB was going to talk about.

SinB hesitated but took a deep breath and looked up at her mother. “I’m in love with someone.” she said and her mother frowned a little but waited for more explanation from her daughter. “Someone amazing, smart and that love me back.” she added and her mother was still looking at her seriously.

“Who is that boy? Do we know him? Is he from a good family?” asked now her mother and SinB swallowed hard.

“Are you happy?” asked SinB’s dad before SinB get to answer her mother and SinB looked at him and smiled.

“More than happy dad.” she said to him. “I never thought love would feel that good, I never thought I would meet someone that would make me feel so happy and loved…”

“Than that’s all it matters for me.” he said as he looked at his wife who frowned.

“Well could we at least meet that boy?” she asked and SinB bit her lips.

“You already know that person…” she finally said and her mother frowned even more, clearly trying to guess who is it but she was totally clueless. “It’s Yerin.”

“Yerin?” asked her mother confused.

“The niece of the dance school director.” said SinB but her mother stayed silent.

“Well it would be nice to have her over as your date now.” said SinB’s dad and SinB smiled at him then he hugged her.

“No way.” said SinB’s mother. “What is this nonsense?” she asked clearly mad now. “Is it a way to get revenge? are you pushing my nerve on purpose?” she asked and SinB was scared now not understanding.

“No I’m not mom… I just… I just fell in love with her… it’s just like that, there's nothing we can do...” she said sincerely.

“But she’s a girl SinB, a girl, just like you, you can’t date a girl out of nowhere, you never liked girls before!”

“Well I never liked boys either!” answered back SinB. “You never let me make friends with people, you were always deciding who I had to hang out with, who I needed to stop seeing, just like with Yuju. You were always controlling me so how could I know who I like?!” she asked, clearly mad too.

“Maybe we should calm down.” said SinB’s dad not wanting the mother and daughter to fight more. Their relationship was getting better and better as SinB was getting more mature, he didn’t want them to fight again…

“Calming down?!” asked the woman to her husband. “Do you see how she’s talking to us?! she’s being so disrespectful!”

“She was being honest and open with us honey, it was probably hard for her to tell us something like that…” he said calmly. “SinB is brave and it’s better that we know from her than hear it from our neighbours of friends don’t you think?” he added and SinB’s mother sighed.

She looked at SinB again who didn’t move.

“SinB, open your eyes, you are not like that. You are too young, soon you will realize it’s stupid and will like boys like you should, so stop now you will do yourself a favor.” she said and SinB frowned now.

“I’m not like what?” she asked her mother. “Not myself, not obeying every order from you?! not being the perfect little girl you forced me to be all these years?! No I’m not like that mom!” she said seriously. “I’m a woman, a grown up woman with a heart and feelings! I’m not the shy and innocent little girl you could manipulate and control anymore! I’m SinB, and I’m in love with Yerin.” she said standing up.

“SinB!” said her mother catching her arm. “You don’t talk to me like that!” she said very mad now. “As long as you are under our roof you better watch your mouth and respect us! You will do as I say now and stop this teenage crisis!”

“I’m not a teenager!” answered SinB freeing her arm from her mother. “And if that’s how you take it that then I’m leaving! I won’t be under your roof anymore!” she said as she turned around and walked away, leaving the house and slamming the door on her way out.

She took her phone, her hands shaking, she dialled Yerin’s nober and as she waited for her girlfriend to answer, tears were running down her cheeks.

“Hello? So how it went?” asked Yerin and SinB sniffed.

“Can we meet up?” she asked sobbing. 

“Of course.” said Yerin clearly worried. “Where are you I’m coming to get you.” she said immediately, understanding it didn’t go well with her parents.

It didn’t take long for Yerin to find SinB, she girl was sitting on the bench in front of the bus stop. Yerin ran to her and hugged her. SinB broke down and cried in Yerin’s arms.

Yerin reassured SinB and hugged her as long as she needed then when SinB calmed down she explained to Yerin what her mother said. Yerin was a little surprised, she had met SinB’s mother before and the woman had been nice to her and seemed to love SinB so much, how could she try to control her daughter like that she wondered.

“Wanna stay with me tonight?” asked Yerin nicely. “Maybe after a day or two she will understand you were serious and will come back to you…” said Yerin and SinB nodded, hugging Yerin again.

SinB felt better in Yerin’s arms, just feeling the girl close to her was calming her and making her feel more at peace. SinB tried to forget what her mother said and focus on Yerin.

Yerin got SinB an ice cream then they went to Yerin’s house, as they entered SinB looked around.

“Are you sure it won’t bother your aunt and uncle?” she asked looking around and seeing no one was here yet .

“No don’t worry they are on vacation,” said Yerin as she went to the kitchen.

“On vacation? the three of them?” asked again SinB following her girlfriend.

“Yeah.” said Yerin taking out a glass of water for SinB. “They went to visit my aunt’s family.”

SinB hesitated. “And they didn’t take you with them?” she asked unsure. “You are their family too right?”

Yerin smiled. “Yeah, I was invited of course, my aunt's family is really nice but they tend to always treat me with pity… it’s not their fault but I can see it and feel it and it makes me uncomfortable, it’s been like three years that I stopped going with them there.” explained Yerin. “Plus I’m better here with my girlfriend than having to suffer all those family diners with my aunt brothers and sister and parents… and all the kids… ” smiled Yerin.

“It’s true that we are better here alone.” said SinB stealing a kiss from Yerin. “How long till they come back?” she asked.

“Two weeks.” smiled Yerin kissing SinB again.

SinB smiled into the kiss. “We should plan some vacations too, with our friends.” said SinB suddenly. “With Sowon, Eunha, Umji and Yuju, all together.”

Yerin smiled. “That could be fun, where would you want to go?” asked Yerin.

“To the sea!” said SinB excited like a little kid making Yerin laugh at her cuteness.

“That’s a good idea, we could plan that with the girls and go near the end of the summer, just before going back to school?” said Yerin and SinB nodded.
