On the next morning, SinB woke up while Umji was still sleeping, the girl slowly got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She closed the door slowly behind her and sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror.

She started thinking about Yerin again and hated herself for having feelings for the girl. Her feelings for Yuju before made her in an impossible situation and it ruined her friendship with the girl. SinB was scared it would be the same with Yerin, especially now that Joy was back.

SinB was so jealous, terribly jealous, she wanted to make Joy disappear forever, she wanted her gone, she wanted her dead.

SinB shook her head and sighed again. She had to control herself, she had to repress those feelings and quickly, she couldn’t let anyone know, the more she would talk about it the more it would make it real and SinB knew she couldn’t handle it.

Yerin was just so amazing, SinB had always appreciated her and now it was worst, SinB couldn’t live without the girl. How didn’t she realise before that she was falling for Yerin, thinking back at it, there was no doubt.

SinB remembered all their moments together, all the hugs, all the care they shared and these deep connection they had these past few months. Their friendship was strong and sincere. SinB was hurt that Yerin was suddenly putting her apart to spend time with Joy.

SinB felt hurt, like she just got dumped by someone she never dated and it was hurting her even more to realise it. Yerin was breaking her heart even before they had a chance to start something.

Well SinB had no chance, between her and Joy the choice would be quickly made. Yerin had all the reason to choose Joy.

SinB jumped as someone knocked at the door. “You in there?” mumbled Umji and SinB opened the door facing her best friend.

“Yeah.” she answered and Umji rubbed her eyes.

“Slept well?” she asked as she passed by SinB and went to wash her face to help her wake up.

“Yeah.” just said SinB.

“Doesn’t sound like you did.” said Umji drying her face and looking up at SinB in the eyes.

SinB her lips. “It’s okay don’t worry.” she said to reassure the girl but Umji arched an eyebrow.

“Are you sure?” insisted Umji getting closer to SinB before the girl could run away and avoid answering her.

But SinB didn’t had time to answer that her dad interrupted them. “Morning girls, time for breakfast.” he said before looking at them facing each other really close. “Are you alright?” he asked and Umji took a step back shyly smiling.

“Yeah we were getting ready.” said SinB as she walked away to go get dressed.

When SinB went in the kitchen her friends were already here, Sowon and Eunha were sitting close to Umji while Yerin was in between Umji and SinB’s dad.

SinB stopped moving as she caught Yerin’s sight. She was surprised to see the girl here. SinB realised she was holding her breath and regained her composure before sitting at the table between Sowon and her mother.

“How are you today?” asked Yerin smiling.

“I’m fine.” just said SinB as all she could think about was Yerin and Joy being lovey dovey while shopping the day before. “You didn’t message me much yesterday.” said suddenly SinB coldly and her friends looked at her surprised.

“Yeah, I was busy and my phone died.” said Yerin. “I only saw your message late yesterday night when I got home and charged it.” she explained sincerely but SinB wasn’t satisfied with this explanation.

She barely ate and they all left for school. SinB was silent most of the ride to school and she was barely listening to the girls talking as she was lost in her thoughts. She wanted to ask Yerin what was going on with Joy but she couldn’t, it wasn’t her place to ask anything about it but she’s dying to know.

They arrived at the school and walked to their building. Swoon stopped as her classroom was close. “Well I have o go or I will be late but what do you girls think about hanging out later after school?” she asked and Eunha nodded immediately. “I was thinking about going to the arcade, it’s been a long and we could play some games there.”

“Yeah that could be fun to kick your at the dance machine.” said SinB and Eunha laughed at Sowon fake offended face.

Yerin hesitated. “Well I can’t… I said I would take Joy out tonight and show her some good places.”

SinB felt a nauseous feeling coming in her tummy and she started to feel mad again. “Doesn’t she know the town already, she was living here not so long ago.” she said coldly.

Yerin frowned a little. “Well she’s not from this town, she came here for high school studies then left the country so she doesn’t know much nice places.” explained Yerin wondering why SinB was acting like this.

Eunha arched an eyebrow. “Well we could all hang out together.” she said smiling nicely.

Sowon nodded. “Yeah we could get to know Joy, she probably wouldn’t mind more new friends right?” asked Sowon and Yerin smiled.

“Yeah of course, it’s a good idea, let’s do this.” she said before walking away to her building.

Eunha looked at SinB. “Our plan is ready.” she said and SinB frowned.

“What?”

“We will get to know Joy and spy her tonight.” explained Sowon and SinB finally understood.

“Right.” said SinB before looking at the time and realising they all would be late if they don’t go now.

They all met at the arcade after school. As SinB arrived with Sowon and Eunha Joy and Yerin were already here playing at some claw machine. Yerin got a toy and gave it to Joy who jumped happily before hugging it.

“Yerin it’s so cute! Thank you! You’re the best!” she said before hugging Yerin too.

SinB swallowed hard and glared at Joy, she was maybe y but she was so annoying, at that moment SinB knew she really hated the girl.

They all did some dance machine challenge and Joy wasn’t bad, she was actually pretty good, well now as good as SinB of course but seriously the girl knew how to move her body. Alot of guys around were drooling over her as she was doing a quite y dance on the machine.

SinB rolled her eyes, the girl was definitely looking for attention. After this they went to a nice restaurant, one the girls liked and went often, they made Joy try the best food and they spend time to talk and get to know more about Joy. the girl was studying art, she wanted to be a clothes designer and Eunha was in awe as Joy was talking about her trip to Paris to meet the most famous designers there.

SinB wanted to roll her eyes at all the amazing story but it seemed like all her friends were so much into it. SinB wondered why they were finding her so interesting. SinB really hated her.

After this they went for a walk in the street and as it wasn’t cold they walked to the river and looked at the city lights reflection in the water.

“Wow it’s so calm and beautiful here.” said Joy looking around. “How come we never came here before?” she asked Yerin who smiled.

“Well we were more interested in hanging out at each others house where we could… you know….” winked Yerin and Joy giggled.

“Yeah I totally remember.” she answered and SinB wanted to puke.

SinB really couldn’t wait to put an end to this evening and go home but Yerin wanted to take the girls to a nice bar. It was a bar with pool table and nice music.

“This is a place Heechul showed me.” said Yerin as they entered.

They sat at a table and ordered a drink. SinB took a fruit juice, Eunha and Sowon took a soda, Joy some sparkling water and Yerin an ice tea. Neither of them went for an alcoholic drink tonight.

Yerin insisted they play some pool table and Joy followed her. Eunha hesitated she never played so she let her place to SinB who went to play with Sowon against Joy and Yerin. 

Joy stayed so close to Yerin while the girl set the billiard balls on the table. They let Sowon go first and Sowon hit the balls sending them all around the table but not putting any in a hole.

“I’m not sure I remember how to play.” said Joy shyly and Yerin smiled.

“Don’t worry, I will show you again.” she said nicely and went behind Joy to show her how to position herself and how to aim at the ball. SinB stared at them as Yerin full body was against Joy’s back, her arms around her to guide her better.

SinB swallowed hard and looked away disgusted by the view.

“You got it?” asked Yerin almost in Joy’s ear and the girl nodded.

“I think I got it.” she said and Yerin moved away leaving Joy hit the ball alone. Joy focused and hit the ball strongly, it went to hit another and pushed it in the hole. It was her turn again, she walked around the table and stopped close to SinB.

“Excuse me.” she said shyly and SinB moved away to let have a better position in front of the ball. Joy hit again and put another ball into a hole.

“Don’t remember how to play my …” thought SinB as Joy put a third ball in the hole but missed the next one.

It was SinB’s turn and she wasn’t going to let Joy humiliate her, she would win this game and show everyone she was the best. SinB focused and won the first ball, also put a second but missed the third one.

Yerin observed the table before choosing what ball to try, she looked so focused and serious, she was pretty thought SinB. Yerin bend over the table and SinB couldn’t help but stare at Yerin’s nice body, she really looked y while playing this game.

Yerin hit the balls and put two at the same time in different holes, she played again and put a third one before missing the next.

As they continued playing Yerin and Joy won and Joy jumped happily before jumping in Yerin’s arms. SnB looked away, it should be her in Yerin’s arms, it should be her having fun with the girl and teaming with her to win. It should be her instead of Joy.

They put an end of the night and decided to go home. Yerin said good night to the girls and walked Joy to her house while Sowon, Eunha and SinB walked on the other side to SinB’s house.

As they arrived Umji was on the couch asleep under her math book. The girls smiled at how cute she looked and Sowon took away the book before SinB grabbed a blanket and covered the girl with it.

“Too bad she didn’t come with us tonight, it was fun.” said Eunha as they went in the kitchen. SinB took a glass of water.

“She said she had a lot to study so I didn’t insist.” said SinB looking down. “And it wasn’t that fun…” she said.

“Are you kidding me?” asked Eunha shocked. “My girlfriend was so hot putting all those balls in the holes.” she said winking at Sowon who blushed.

“Really?” asked shyly Sowon and Eunha nodded before getting closer and giving a quick kiss on Sowon’s lips.

SinB rolled her eyes at them but smiled as they were really cute.

“Well at least we learned more about Joy.” said Euha more seriously. “She seems to be a nice girl.”

“Yeah, and she’s really pretty and smart.” added Sowon and Eunha glared at her. “She’s definitely not my type but she’s seems great.”

SinB sighed and Sowon looked at her. “What is it?” asked Sowon.

“I don’t know, I really don’t like her…” she confessed and her friends didn’t know what to say.

They stayed silent a moment then SinB put away her glass and looked at the time. “Wanna stay over tonight?”

“No we’re good, we will go home.” said Sowon as she stood up and took Eunha’s hand in hers.

SinB walked them to the door. “Well thank you for tonight, I know you girls suggested we hang out with Yerin and Joy to help me.” finally said SinB shyly and Sowon smiled.

“Of course, you don’t have to thank us, the next step is getting rid of Joy so you can have Yerin all for yourself.” said Sowon with a teasing tone and SinB rolled her eyes.

“Stop saying nonsense.” said SinB even if deep down is was what she really wanted.

“Good night SinB.” said Eunha.

“Good night girls.” answered SinB then the girls walked away. SinB waved at them one last time then entered back in her house closing the door.

She slowly woke up Umji and they went to bed.
