The next day, SinB woke up with a small headache. She frowned, she wasn’t feeling well. When she got out from bed, as usual she checked her cell phone and to her surprise there was a text message from Yerin. She smacked her head, she didn’t reply to Yerin yesterday. She opened the message and smiled.

“SinB! You were at the arcade but you left so quickly!! I couldn’t even come say hi! *pout* I miss hanging out with you! And you haven’t reply to my message I guess you are very busy… *pout* Let me know if you are free to hangout today? I will wait for your reply!!”

SinB smiled, she could clearly picture how Yerin was pouting right now, but then she frowned remembering that she should stay away from the chemistry girl in order to not make Yuju upset again. SinB really didn’t want to lose Yuju friendship, having the girl ignoring her for some days had hurt her so much that SinB wished she would never feel like that ever again so she was debating whether or not to message Yerin back. She feels like she should, it was really rude of her to ignore her when the latter didn’t do anything wrong to her. She sighed and finally replied her.

“Hey! Sorry, I’ve been really busy lately...and I already have plan today. So I will see you another time!”

She pressed send and sighed, she knew the girls were busy today. Sowon and Eunha wanted to go shopping but since SinB wasn’t a big fan of it she declined the girl’s offer. While Yuju claimed that she had plan already so she would see them another time.

SinB decided to open her laptop and work on her project. It was due soon and she didn’t want to be late. Exams were coming up too, she knew that Yuju would be needing her help so she should focus on her own thing, and keeping time to help the latter. As she was working on her exercise, her cell rang from a text again.

“Oh..I see. No problem!! :) See you at school!” replied Yerin.

SinB looked at the message and frowned. Then another message pop up asking her to replace someone at the tutoring center. SinB immediately agree since she has nothing better to do anyways, she might as well gain some money. She quickly packed her stuff and left the house, heading to work.

As she get there, she saw the students waiting at the door. She smiled at the kids and let them in. She sat with them and started her tutoring session. She smiled, the kids were so cute as usual. Then suddenly, there was a knock at the door, SinB went out and was greeted by someone that she wasn’t planning to meet at this place. “Oh… Yerin? Hello... can I help you?” asked SinB politely, still shocked to see the latter standing in front of her workplace.

“Oh! Hi SinB, actually, my little cousin just got enrolled here and I was designated to bring him here since I was doing nothing at home...” said the girl with her eye smile.

SinB nodded. “Oh, true, I heard I have a new kid today, you can let him with me, and pick him up later, the lesson will be over in an hour.” she explained as she brought the kid inside the classroom. Yerin nodded, she waved at her cousin and left them to their lesson.

SinB wasn’t sure what to do now, she was forced to face the girl she was trying to avoid earlier than expected. Why was her life always so complicated? She shook her head and told her to focus on the kids here, she was paid to tutor them, shouldn’t waste their time thinking about her messy life.

She continued to tutor them, and enjoyed her time with the kids, they were all very focused today, and were happily asking questions and doing their exercises seriously. As the class was over, the kids were all running out of the class to greet their parents. SinB smiled and bowed to the parents and their children who were waving goodbye to her. Until the little new kid was standing at the door looking for his cousin.

SinB knelt down. “What’s wrong?” asked SinB in which the kid was pouting.

“Yerin noona isn’t around… Did she leave me?” he asked with a sad voice, the kids was on the verge of tears.

SinB patted his head, trying to reassure him. “Don’t worry, your cousin wouldn’t leave a cutie like you behind.” she said smiling, the little kid nodded and quickly hugged SinB, shocking her by the sudden affection gesture.

She smiled and lifted him up. “Let’s wait together ok?” she asked and the little boy nodded again.

After a few minutes, they heard the footsteps and the boy quickly turned his head. “Noona!!!” he screamed happily but not let go of SinB.

Yerin smiled at them and approached them. “Mianhe, I went to get something!!” she explained to the boy before looking at SinB. “Thank you for looking after my cousin.”

“Oh don’t worry about it, it’s part of my job” said SinB smiling at Yerin.

“Hey, Yejun it’s not nice to hold onto the teacher like this, she must be tired. Come on, get down.” she said to her little cousin but the boy shook his head tightening his grip on SinB. Yerin sighed and took something from her bag. “Look what I got youuuuu!!!Be a good boy and get down Yejun.” she said with a teasing smile. The boy turned around to look at his cousin and Yerin showed him an ice cream.

“Ice creamm!!!” screamed the boy quickly letting go of SinB to get the ice cream making the two girls laugh. The boy took the ice cream and sit down to eat. SinB smiled seeing how happy the little boy was when suddenly she saw an ice cream in front of her face.

“This is for you SinB!” exclaimed Yerin with a big smile.

SinB smiled at her and took the ice cream. “Thank you Yerin...” she said politely before opening it and starting to it.

Yerin was patting her cousin’s shoulder and cleaning his mouth full of ice cream. SinB was observing Yerin, she was so tender and nice to the kid, just like a good sister. Yerin turned around, feeling that someone was watching her and saw SinB’s eyes on her. “Why you stare at me like this?! I will blush!” teased Yerin while putting her hand on her cheeks to pretend that she was shy.

SinB laughed out loud. “You shy?! Don’t make me laugh!!” SinB says while rolling her eyes.

Then after a bit of chitchatting Yerin smiled at SinB. “I’m sorry.” said the chemistry girl looking down. SinB stared at her confusedly until Yerin continued. “I thought you were avoiding me...” confessed Yerin honestly. SinB was stun, not knowing how to answer her and feeling guilty, of course Yerin would know she was avoiding her. “I guess my intuition was wrong, you are probably really busy. I didn’t know you work...” explained Yerin looking up at Sinb with a shy smile.

“Yeah, this is my part time job for some cash” smiled SinB,still feeling uneasy.

“I see, well then I guess I will see you from time to time when I need to bring this brat here!” said Yerin while holding her cousin’s hand. “What do we say to the teacher?” Yerin ask her cousin.

He bowed down. “Bye SinB teacher.” then they walked away.

SinB sighed, even more confused than before, what should she do now. She would see Yerin from time to time for sure because of her work. But then she looked at her hand, still holding the leftover of the ice cream and smiled. “Well...Yuju doesn’t need to know…” she whispered to herself then she smiled and took her backpack ready to head back home.

Hehehe, I think this chapter should bring some smile to some people :) Aren't the Yejun kids adorable?? We try to picture him as a very adorable kid. For your information, his name is not someone that we know, we just decided on his name because it's similar Yerin. Hope you guys like it :)
