As SinB got home with Umji that day she was still thinking about Joy and Yerin. SinB didn’t know why it was bothering her that much that the girl was back.

“Is everything okay buddy?” asked Umji.

SinB was still deep in her thought, not hearing what Umji said until Umji pat her shoulder then she looked at Umji. “Ne?”

“What’s wrong?”

SinB shakes her head. “Nothing...just thinking..”

Umji frowned. “You seems bothered since we met up from shopping. Did something happened?”

SinB looked down. “We… bump into Yerin’s ex girlfriend.”

“Oh? And?” asked Umji, not knowing the details about Yerin love life.

SinB frowned. “Yerin’s ex is so beautiful and so y…”

Umji stared at SinB. “Okay…”

SinB shook her head. “Anyways… What do you want to do?” said SinB wanting to get rid of her thoughts.

“We are supposed to study ar SinB, you are behind in your school work.” said Umji.

SinB whined. “Whattttttt but...noooooo!” which made Umji laughed.

“Come on!” insisted Umji as she tried to drag SinB up from the couch but SinB was holding tight not wanting to move.

Then as they were bickering they hear the door open.

“What are you girls doing?” asked a very familiar voice, it was SinB’s parents.

“Umma! Appa!” screamed SinB and Umji together.

They smiled as they put down their luggages. The girls quickly went to help them settle.

“What are you two doing?” asked SinB’s mom.

“Oh… we were going to go up to study.” answered SinB in which Umji rolled her eyes.

“That’s our girls!” exclaimed SinB’s dad as he went to hug both girls.

“What would you two like to eat? Your umma and appa will cook tonight.”

The girls smiled widely. “Anything you guys cook!”

The parents smiled and nodded. “Alright, we will call you when the food are ready.” said SinB’s mom as they go into the kitchen while SinB and Umji went up to her room to study.

As SinB took her notes out and look at her agenda, she sighed.

“What’s wrong buddy?” asked Umji seeing SinB’s annoyed face.

SinB frowned. “I have a project due next week and I didn’t start…”

Umji shook her head. “Well you have a week, better get started.”

SinB nodded as she took out her laptop to do research. After a while, they heard a knock at the door then her appa’s head pop out.

“Girls, it’s time for supper.” he said with a smile.

The girls nodded and went down to eat. As they were eating they chit chatted about their work.

“Umji ar, when is your parent coming back? We should really eat together, we’ve been talking about this for a while.” said SinB’s dad.

Umji nodded. “I know, but they’ve been flying in and out so much recently, I didn’t even get to talk to them much.” explained Umji looking down.

SinB frowned, knowing Umji was sad.

“It’s okay, I’m sure we will eat together soon.” smiled SinB.

“How’s dance school going?” asked her dad.

SinB nodded happily. “It’s going very well! We just did a performance and everyone was clapping so hard for us!”

“Really?! It’s such a shame that we didn’t get to go see it right yeobo?” asked SinB’s dad.

SinB’s mom just nodded then. “SinB, how’s school?”

SinB gulped and looked straight at her mom. “It’s going okay, I am catching up and doing my work properly.”

SinB mom nodded in approval. “Good, keep up the good work. Your final is approaching soon right? After final, do you want to go somewhere?”

SinB eyes shined. “You mean we can go on vacation together?!”

SinB’s dad nodded. “Yeah, we did some good business and we think we all deserve to fly together somewhere as a family.”

SinB smiled. “Yeah!!!” then she looked at Umji. “We are going to go on vacation!!!”

Umji giggled and shook her head. “You guys will have so much fun!”

SinB frowned.

“What do you mean Umji? You are coming with us.” simply stated SinB’s mom which made Umji eyes widen. “But… you said as a family…”

SinB’s dad nodded  “You are part of the family, you are like a daughter to us silly.”

Umji eyes got teary and SinB went to hugged her. “Pabo..”

Umji nodded and smiled happily. “Yes... I am a pabo… gomawo appa and amma..”

They all smiled. That night SinB held onto Umji while sleeping. Umji was feeling so lonely, not being able to see her family for so long. SinB’s parents aren’t home that often but she still get to see them more often than her own parents so she felt kinda left out but luckily, they took her as a part of the family.

On the next morning the girls woke up slowly and smelled the nice odor of food, SinB smiled excited and got up quickly to get ready before going down joining her parents. Umji followed her and they started to eat when the doorbell rang.

SinB looked at her parents who seemed surprised that someone was at the door so early.

“It’s just the girls, we usually eat all together before going to school. It’s like our little ritual.” said SinB smiling before standing up and walking to the door.

As she opened Sowon and Eunha were there hand in hand. “Morning.” said SinB and the girls smiled.

“Good morning.” said Eunha before SinB make sign for them to enter. “It smell very nice.” added Eunha and SinB nodded excitedly.

“My parents are back for some days they made breakfast.” explained SinB.

Sowon arched an eyebrow. “Oh maybe you want us to leave you alone?” she asked knowing the girl didn’t see her parents much.

“No no it’s okay, come here, food is ready.” said SinB but Sowon was still hesitating.

SinB’s dad arrived. “Hello girls.” he smiled. “What’s taking you so long, breakfast will be cold.” he smiled as he put his hand on Sowon’s shoulder to guide her to the kitchen.

Eunha followed shyly as she never meet SinB’s family before.

They all sat down and ate, SinB was glad to have her friends and parents altogether, but something was missing, SinB looked at the time and frowned, she took her phone out and opened her convo with Yerin.

“Are you coming over for breakfast?” she typed worried the girl wasn’t here yet, usually Yerin would join them, she didn’t mention over the weekend that she couldn’t come because of Yejun or something.

SinB was now impatient to hear from Yerin, she couldn’t wait for the girl to join them, she was barely listening as her parents were asking questions to the girls about school and life.

SinB keep checking her phone every second even if she knew it didn’t vibrate yet. Then suddenly she got an answer.

“Sorry no I can’t, I’m seeing Joy before school. See you after our first classes! :)”

As she read the answer SinB felt sick, her tummy was hurting and she just wanted to throw her phone across the room, she clenched her hand around it and finally put it back in her pocket without answering.

Umji looked at SinB and touched her arm to get her attention.

SinB looked at Umji who arched her eyebrows at her with a questioning look so SinB showed her phone to her best friend so Umji could read Yerin’s message.

Umji bit her lips and nodded.

“It’s time to go now.” said Sowon and SinB looked at her before nodding.

They all helped to clean the table and SinB hugged both her parents before they all left the house.
