SinB was taking the bus home and while having her earplug in, she felt someone sitting beside her in which she mentally groaned, there were so many empty spots in front of her, why would this person sit beside her. Then she just closed her eyes, not wanting to get bothered but she felt a poke from beside which freak her out, why would a stranger poke her.

She opened her eyes and turned around, before getting met with a huge grin.

“Hey Buddy!” exclaimed Umji smiling widely.

“Umji!!!” said SinB  as she hugged Umji tight but she got pushed away by her best friend.

“Pff, I bet you were complaining why would a stranger sit beside you when there were so many seats in front of you!” teased Umji in which SinB rolled her eyes.

“It’s getting creepy Umji! You always know what I’m thinking, are you sure you didn’t implant something in my head!?” asked SinB as she pretended to be scared.

Umji laughed. “As if I would want to do that! I wouldn’t want to see you having dirty thought of your crush you know!” she winked which made SinB blush madly.

“What..what..what dirty thought?! Yah!!” yelled Sinb before she smacked Umji and they both started to laugh.

“How come you are going home this late? Don’t you end work like hours ago?” asked Umji as she looked at the time.

“Oh… yeah I went to the arcade meeting up with Jackson and Yuju…” explained SinB.

Umji arched an eyebrow at her best friend. “You two are better now?” she asked with hope that things were going well for SinB and her crush now.

SinB shook her head and looked down. “No...actually...no...Jackson is trying to help me and …” SinB looked up at Umji and sighed. “Yuju doesn’t even want to talk to me…” frowned SinB.

“Jackson helping you? What did I miss now…?” asked Umji with a sense of worry.

“Actually, I’ve been texting with Jackson a lot these days and he’s a very nice guy. He’s funny too, I understand why Yuju fell for him… He’s volunteering to help me and Yuju get our friendship back. We pretend to bump into each other at the arcade so that I can see Yuju and try to talk to her.” explained SinB calmly.

Umji nodded then gave sign to SinB that it was their stop so they got out of the bus together.

As SinB kept telling Umji the conversation she has with Jackson and what happened at the arcade, they finally got into the house and went into the room. As SinB sat down, she finally realized that they were in Umji’s room.

“Huh?? We went to your house?” asked SinB looking around and finally stopping in which Umji laughed.

“Yeah, you were too busy talking and miss your stop, so I decided to kidnap you home but technically I didn’t kidnap you, you just followed me like a puppy!” laughed Umji as she was changing into more comfortable clothing and gave a set to SinB.

SinB rolled her eyes then look down. “You know...My mom talked to me last week and...it felt different.” she says as she looked back up at Umji.

Umji looked at her, waiting for more.

“She seems so much more caring and she’s giving me more the opportunity to make decision, she isn’t as strict as before...And my dad told me that she missed me so much when they were in business trip and has notice that I have grown up a lot...I don’t know, I feel kinda...weird?” continued SinB as Umji was listening to her, giving her best friend all her attention.

“What do you mean by weird?” asked Umji.

“As in, well she’s not that strict to me like before and she gives me a lot more of her caring side...I...really like it.” she smiled in which Umji smiled back and nodded.

“That’s good. Don’t let amma down.”

SinB nodded then felt her phone vibrate, she took her phone out, Umji stared at her as SinB started giggling and typing and answer.

“Yuju?” asked Umji curiously.

SinB shook her head. “Na, it’s Jackson. He’s saying he still can’t believe he lost to me at the dancing game again and want more revenge. He’s hilarious!!” said SinB laughing.

Umji remained silent until SinB was done texting with the boy.

“You okay buddy?” asked SinB, suddenly feeling Umji silent.

“I just have a bad feeling about this boy.” stated Umji looking at SinB in the eyes.

SinB hugged Umji. “Don’t worry about him! He’s a nice guy! We were wrong about him.” explained SinB with a reassuring smile.

Umji sighed but smiled at her cute best friend. “Just, remember your promise. Be careful with him.” simply said Umji and SinB nodded.

“Do you have homework to do?” asked Umji in which SinB nodded.

“Yeah..well more review, I really slack off today at school, barely paid attention so I need to review my stuff…” said SinB remembering that she spend the day messaging Jackson and not listening in classes.

“How come? You always study in advance and listen in class no?” asked Umji, a bit shocked to heard something like that from SinB.

SinB looked down a bit. “I..euh..was kinda distracted texting with Jackson about Yuju...so...I didn’t really pay attention in class…” she confessed before looking up at Umji with puppy eyes.

Umji sighed, this boy was making SinB lose her focus.

“Alright then, let’s have a study period. Let’s see what you are studying. Maybe I can help you with it.” said Umji determined to help SinB with this lesson.

SinB nodded happily and hugged her best friend. “You are the best Umji!!” she exclaimed.

As they were looking into the study material, there were some stuff that Umji already learned, so she was giving her notes for SinB to look at it.

As always, SinB learned it quickly and started to work on some exercises. Umji smiled, when SinB was so focused on her work, she looked so different. Umji remembered back in high school that SinB was always the top 5 of the class with her, they would spend their time in the basement dancing, playing or studying. They were always together.

One day as SinB slacked off in her study, she got a big lecture and beating from her mom.

After that, not once has she slacked off about anything school related. That was why Umji was surprised to see that. And the reason for that to happen make Umji frown more.

“Umji ar? Why are you staring at me like this?” asked SinB poking her friend.

Umji shook head. “Sorry, was thinking. You had a question?” she asked focusing back on what SinB was doing.

SinB nodded. “In your notes, you wrote this.” she said as she pointed something. “But isn’t the answer suppose to be like this?” said SinB as she started writing beside.

Umji looked at it and nodded. “You are right. I probably copy something wrong. Thanks! I might have not noticed it!” said Umji correcting the sentence on her notes.

SinB grinned. “My pleasure!” she happily.

Umji smiled, there, her buddy was back. She was very proud of SinB, within a while of studying, she was already back on track and even point out a mistake.

They studied a bit more then went to get supper. Umji’s parent messaged her saying that they would be out of town tonight so Umji decided to go sleep at SinB’s house.

As they got home, they saw SinB’s parent watching tv in the living room.

“Appa, amma, Umji is here!” said SinB as she walked in, leaving her shoes at the door.

“Yah!! SinB, put ur shoes on the side!! I almost trip!” scolded Umji but SinB quickly told Umji to shhh with her finger.

“SinB-ya, how many time we told you to put your shoes right when you come in?” scolded SinB’s mom in which SinB glare at Umji but the latter just giggled and walked past her.

“Good evening amma, appa!” smiled Umji as she walked closer to them.

They open their arms as Umji approached and gave the girl a hug.

“How are you Umji? We haven’t seen you for a while.” said SinB’s mom nicely.

Umji smiled. “Yeah, it’s been very busy at school. But I’m doing fine. What about you?” she asked back.

“We are good, busy with the company. We should have a gathering with your parent soon, what do you think?” said SinB’s dad really excited by his own proposition.

Umji smiled. “I’m sure it will be a pleasure for them!! It’s been so long!!” answered Umji excitedly.

They smiled and they talked a bit but SinB yawned.

“Okay, honey, let the kids go to bed, look at our princess, she’s all sleepy already.” said SinB’s dad as he hugged his daughter tightly.

Umji looked around and giggled then they both nodded and went up. As SinB was texting again with a tiny smile, Umji rolled her eyes. “Jackson again?” she asked arching an eyebrow.

SinB nodded. “Yep, he’s wishing us good night.” she said smiling.

“Us? You told him we are together?” asked Umji surprised.

SinB stared at Umji confused, “Yeah, why? Is he not supposed to know?” asked SinB not knowing why Umji was so surprised.

Umji shook her head. “No, it’s just that, it’s rare. Anyways, what are you guys talking about now?” asked Umji.

SinB smiled and gave the phone to Umji. “Here, you can read the convo, I’m a go take a shower first.” said SinB trusting her best friend with everything then she went into the bathroom.

Umji took her phone and read SinB’s messages exchange with Jackson until SinB came out.

They bid good night to each other and close the light. Umji had trouble sleeping as the conversation between Jackson and SinB was on her mind. It was such a sudden change, SinB really disliked him, and he was often acting like a very selfish guy till now, but here as Umji read the messages, they were so friendly, just like two good friends. As she was thinking, Umji felt SinB snuggling off to her and hug her. Umji smiled and pecked SinB’s forehead. She decided to shrug off the feeling and try her best to drift to sleep as she hugged SinB back.

Hello Hello! UmB chapter hehe =P Like always, aren't they cute together XDD 

 Like some of you , Umji is having some doubt on whether Jackson is really nice or not. What do you guys think of Umji suspicions? Will Jackson prove her right or wong? =P As usual! Let us know what you think of this chapter and what will happen next :D <3
