SinB woke up and prepared to go to school, she had a nice sunday dancing with Yuju and seeing her old teacher. Knowing that her unnie was married to a woman made SinB admire Jiyoon even more.

She was smiling when she went down to take her breakfast. Seeing that her parents were already at work SinB took her food in her bag and left the house quickly eager to meet her friends at university.

She walked to the school and thought about her best friend, she missed Umji, and felt like she didn’t see the girl during years. She was glad they decided to meet up after school to spend some times together.

When SinB arrived at the cafeteria, she find her friends at their table, she joined them and smiled as she sat down beside Yuju who was frowning at her friends.

“So now you talk to me?” asked Yuju and Sowon sighed. “I’m wondering because you two ignored me all weekend.” said Yuju sadly.

Sowon looked at Eunha and the short girl put her hand on Yuju’s one. “Sorry Yuju but you were pretty bad with us...” explained Eunha and Sowon nodded.

Yuju looked at her friends. “I know and I’m sorry. You know I talk before thinking and it really wasn’t my intention to hurt you.” said Yuju apologizing.

Sowon smiled a little. “It’s okay Yuju, it was childish of us to ignore you all weekend anyway.” confessed the tall girl. “Next time just try to put yourself in the other’s place.” said Sowon and Yuju nodded.

SinB looked at them and smiled. Everything seemed to be back to normal. Yuju was talking about her class and how it was unfair that the teacher gave them a group project while Sowon and Eunha were stealing each other’s food.

Yuju put her hand on SinB’s shoulder. “We could all hang out after school!” she said happily but suddenly all the girls hesitated. “What?” asked Yuju looking at her friends.

“Sowon and I already got plans for tonight…” said Eunha sadly.

Yuju nodded “And I can’t come because?”

“We already bought tickets and it’s already all sold out...So I don’t think you can make it” responded Eunha.

Yuju nodded then looked at SinB. “What about you?” she asked SinB full of hope.

SinB hesitated. “We could talk about this later, I have class right now.” she quickly said before leaving the table.

As she walked to the class she bumped into someone, she apologized before realising it was Yerin.

“Oh, finally you come to me.” smiled the chemistry girl helping SinB gathering her stuff that fell on the floor. “So what happen to you?” she asked curious. “You are acting so weird lately.”

SinB swallowed hard. “I’m late.” she just said pushing Yerin off her way but Yerin stopped her by catching SinB’s arm. “Yerin please, let me go.” begged SinB and Yerin immediately let go of her arm.

SinB walked away quickly without looking back. She hopped this time Yerin would understand and leave her alone for good.

At the end of the day SinB meets Umji in front of the university, the girl waved and ran to her. SinB felt Umji jumping in her arms so she hugged the girl back happy to see her. They started walking away when someone called SinB’s name. They stopped, turned around and saw Yuju running to them.

“Where are you girls going?”  asked Yuju. “Weren’t we hanging out together?” she asked to SinB who looked at Umji before looking back at Yuju.

“Well it’s been a long time I didn’t hang out with Umji…” said SinB. “I will hang out with you next time?” she proposed but Yuju pouted.

SinB felt bad for rejecting Yuju like that but she really wanted some times with her buddy.

Yuju looked at Umji. “I could hang out with you guys.” she said and Umji didn’t know what to answer. “We never hang out just the three of us.” added Yuju smiling. “I can get to know Umji more!”

SinB hesitated, she looked at Umji and saw the girl was as lost as her. “We could plan that for another day?” proposed SinB again but Yuju shook her head.

“You’re letting me down too?” asked Yuju and SinB immediately shook her head. “Sowon and Eunha ignored me all weekend, now they plan stuff without me, and you don’t want to hang out with me too…” she complained with a sad face. “Why is everybody hating me?” she asked and SinB looked at Umji with a questioning look. Umji just shook her shoulders not knowing what they should do.

“Okay.” said SinB with a sigh. “You can hang out with us.” she said. “But don’t complain if you get bored, we didn’t plan anything special.”

Umji nodded. “We wanted to watch a movie at my place.” explained Umji. “I will buy you girls your favorite ice cream then!” added the girl and SinB smiled happily.

As they were heading to Umji house, they stopped at a convenience store to get some snacks and ice cream. Yuju quickly walked toward the freezer to get ice cream while SinB and Umji walked to the snacks section.

“Mianhe Umji...” apologized SinB, knowing that they were suppose to spend time just the two of them together. Umji smiled at her and shook her head. “Don’t worry about it, we can always do it again. Plus, I can get to know more about your crush for future reference, you know.” winked Umji which made SinB whine and playfully hit Umji arm.

“Why are you hitting Umji, SinB?” asked Yuju, confused while holding the ice cream.

“She’s just crazy.” answered Umji which made SinB glare at her and they all chose some more snacks and walked to pay. Yuju decided to pay for everything but SinB and Umji both decline the offer and bickered about each other. In the end, Yuju won.

With all their snacks, they once again, walked toward Umji house.

“Waa, Umji, your house is few blocks away from SinB only!! Lucky you, you two can spend time together all the time! I wish my house was this close! Then we can have sleepover every night!” says Yuju all excited.

Umji smiled at Yuju. “Yeah, but we rarely do sleep over, our parent prefer that we go home. But from time to time yeah we do it. And, even though we live so close to each other, we rarely see each other anymore since SinB goes to a public school. My school load is too much.” sighed Umji.

SinB hugged Umji. “It’s okay buddy, our hearts are always connected to each other!” which made Umji smile and she hugged SinB back.

Yuju looked at them two and smiled. “You two are so close to each other, sometime I’m jealous, I wish I have someone like this.”

SinB looked at Yuju and frowned, wasn’t she close to her?

As if Umji can read SinB mind she arched an eyebrow. “But isn’t SinB very close to you too?”

Yuju smiled and nodded at Umji. “You don’t mind if I share SinB with you?”

Umji giggled. “No problem, please take her away from me, sometime she’s so annoying. I wish I have some time away from her!!” exclaimed Umji and SinB smacked her.

“Yah!!!! What is this?!!!!” asked SinB pouting.

Yuju laughed and smirked. “True… sometime she can be very…” then she looked at Umji. “childish!” then both Yuju and Umji ran away from SinB leaving her chasing after the girls.

Once they reach Umji house, they all went in and put their bag down.

“Where’s umma?” asked SinB looking around.

“Umma and appa should be back soon. They know you were coming, so they got all excited.” said Umji giggling. SinB smiled, she misses her second parents so much.

Then they looked at Yuju. “Hm… so this is my house...” said Umji a bit shy.

Yuju looked around. “Wow, Umji! Your house is so big and pretty!!! You must be loaded!!” she said looking at the house.

Umji shrugged. “Hm...we are okay...” she said feeling uncomfortable, not use to people go into her house. “Here, let’s go to the living room, I will prepare the snacks out. SinB and Yuju go check which movie you want to watch.” added Umji as she walked to the kitchen with the snacks.

When she joined the girls, they were fighting about the movie choice, Umji laughed. “We can watch both of them you know.” she said and the girls looked at her smiling.

“Let’s start with this one!” said SinB standing up.

Umji nodded and looked at Yuju. “We will start by the one SinB like because she will fall asleep anyway so we can change once she sleep!” explained Umji winking at Yuju.

SinB pouted again. “I don’t always fall asleep during the movies!” she defended herself but Umji laughed.

“Not always but most of the time yes!” she said and Yuju laughed.

They get comfortable on the couch and started the first movie while eating the snacks. Half into the movie, Umji looked over at SinB and saw the girl asleep. She smiled and patted Yuju’s thigh for the girl to watch SinB.

“We should take a pic so next time she won’t argue.” whispered Yuju not wanting to wake SinB up. Umji smiled and took out her phone.

“I already did that, I have many pics of her sleeping while we watch movies, but she still say I lie!” said Umji showing some pics to Yuju who smiled at the screen phone.

“She’s so cute.” said Yuju giving back the phone to Umji.

“Yeah and so sweet.” added Umji as they both watched the girl sleeping. “I miss her so much now that we don’t go to the same school…” confessed Umji.

Yuju bit her lips. “You really love her a lot don’t you?”

Umji nodded. “She’s my buddy.” she smiled. “I wish we could always be together like before… But she got lot of work with school, with her job and she got new friends so it’s hard to find some time together...” explained Umji a little sad.

“I’m sorry…” said Yuju looking down.

Umji was surprised. “Why you’re sorry?” she asked not knowing why Yuju would say that.

Yuju looked up at Umji. “I always ask SinB to hang out with me… I never thought she would maybe rather spend time with you… but she’s one of my closest friend and I’m scared to lose her…” explained Yuju sincerely.

Umji took Yuju’s hand in hers. “She like you a lot and she doesn’t mind spending time with you all the time, believe me.” said Umji reassuring Yuju. “And I like to know she made friends like you. I know you care about her. So I can count on you to take care of my sister.” said Umji and Yuju nodded.

“I will always have an eye on her don’t worry.” said Yuju looking at SinB before looking back at Umji. “Thank you for letting me hang out with you guys.”

“No problem.” said Umji happily. “I’m glad to get to know you better.”

“Me too.” smiled Yuju. “So do we change the movie now that this sleepy head is sleeping?” asked Yuju and Umji nodded. She stood up and put the movie Yuju wanted to see. “I wanted to see this movie since a long time but never got the occasion.” added Yuju when Umji sat back on the couch making sure not to wake SinB up as she sat.

Umji pulled the blanket on her legs and started the movie. “I’m sure you will like it, it’s one of my favorite.” said Umji as it finally started.
