Everything seemed back to normal as the girls walked toward the school except that SinB was tensing up as they were getting closer. Umji noticed it and took her best friend hand in hers.

“It will be fine.” said Umji and SinB nodded but couldn’t help it as she held Umji’s hand stronger.

Her body was trembling and she started sweating, she wasn’t sure how she should explain it to Jiyoon. She was terrified. Images of Jackson came back to her mind. SinB closed her eyes and shook her head as they entered the building. They went upstairs as Jiyoon’s office was on the 3rd floor. Sowon and Eunha walked in front clearing the way while Umji was holding SinB’s hand and guiding her as SinB stayed behind scared and stressed to talk to Jiyoon.

As they reached the 3rd floor they didn’t notice see that there were two shadows following them since they entered the building.

Sowon continued to walk into the corridor but SinB stopped as she felt a hand on her shoulder, she turned around and her eyes widen, it was Jackson. His face was bruised and his right arm was into a sling while his torso was into a sort of bandage too.

“Time for revenge.” he smirked as he pushed SinB onto the wall surprising both Umji and her.

“Leave her alone now!” said Umji as she tried to go help but the second guy faced her, he was tall, taller than Jackson and took Umji’s wrist in his hand to stop her from moving or running away.

“Is it her the other girl?” asked Jackson’s friend but Jackson shook his head.

“No, it’s another .” simply said Jackson as he still smirked at SinB. “Because of you and your little friend I am in so much damn pain, you better pay for it!” he said angrily.

“STOP!” screamed Umji but the guy was now covering Umji’s mouth with his other hand to prevent her from making more sound.

Sowon heard Umji’s scream and turned around immediately, she ran back to the girls and see that they were cornered by Jackson and his best friend, she recognized the boy it was the one that was after Eunha. As she was hurrying to reach them she suddenly saw Yerin running out of a closer room.

“STAY AWAY FROM HER YOU BASTARD!” screamed Yerin as she shoved him away.

The boy lost his balance and took some steps back from the surprise and the strength Yerin was using. He missed the step behind him, he fell into the stairs and rolled down till the other floor downstair. As they all ran toward the stairs and looked down in shock. They saw Yuju standing beside the boy’s body now lying on the floor at her feet. She quickly rushed toward her boyfriend.

Jackson’s friend let go of Umji and ran downstairs to check Jackson too.

“He’s unconscious!” he said as he kneeled to his friend.

Umji took her phone out and ran downstairs too while calling for help. She indicated the address and explained what was the emergency calmly.

“We need to take care of him while the ambulance arrive.” said Umji to Yuju and the other guy nodded and came closer to her and Jackson. Umji knew what to do in this situation she got her first aid certificate not long ago.

SinB, Yerin and Eunha were a little shocked by how everything ended. Sowon faced Yerin and put her hands on the girl’s shoulders to make her focus back on her.

“Yerin.” said Sowon. “We need to go help.” she said and Yerin looked up at her.

“Will he be okay...?” she asked worried and Sowon looked down at Jackson’s unconscious body unsure how to answer.

“Umji is doing her best.” just said Sowon not really knowing the situation. She turned to Eunha who has teary eyes. “Baby stay with SinB ok?” she told her and Eunha nodded. She got closer to SinB and took her arm into hers and hugged SinB’s arm strongly.

SinB flinched at the sudden contact but noticed that it was Eunha so she reached for the short girl’s hand and hugged her tightly. Yerin followed Sowon downstairs.

“Umji can we do something to help?” asked Sowon worried but trying to stay calm, she needed to stay calm and help Umji.

Umji looked at Sowon. “You know first aid too right? Can you grab something and make a pillow for his head?” asked Umji and Sowon asked one of the guy to give her his sweater and she also took Yuju’s purse and wrapped it together before putting it under Jackson head keeping it balance.

Yuju stood up and faced Yerin before pushing her. “Are you insane?! Do you want to kill him or what?! ” she said as the started hitting Yerin who didn’t move or fight back. She just let Yuju hit her as she doesn’t know what to say or what to do, she knew she was in trouble if anything bad would happen to Jackson.

Sowon got up and went behind Yuju, she circled her with her arms to take her away. “It was an accident.” said Sowon calmly wanting to smooth Yuju down but the girl was crying now.

Sowon turned Yuju around and hugged her while Yerin didn’t move, she just looked down.

Umji understood Yerin was feeling guilty and that if anything would happen to Jackson she would be responsible. Yerin really wanted him to pay and suffer like he made them all suffer, but she didn’t want to kill him or anything...

“Yerin?” called Umji and Yerin looked at her getting out of her thoughts. “Go out and guide the nurse here when the ambulance arrive.” she ordered and Yerin nodded as she walked away.

Sowon hugged Yuju tightly till she calm down. When Yuju calmed down Sowon looked at her in the eyes. “What are you doing here?” she asked her but Yuju looked on the side at Jackson.

Sowon took Yuju’s face in her hands slowly to make the girl look at her. “Yuju…? Talk to me...” she asked sternly, it couldn’t be a coincidence for her to show up here today. Then she noticed that Yuju got teary again.

“He came back so hurt before yesterday I asked him what happened and he said he fighted with some guys…but he didn’t want to elaborate...” said Yuju sobbing and looking down. “But later on, I overheard him calling his best friend and telling him that SinB and Yerin needed a good lesson for humiliating him…and they must pay for it...” explained Yuju brushing her tears away but unable to stop crying.

She tried to calm down to continue. “I was confused and wanted to understand what happened… so I followed him here… I saw them sneaking behind you girls but I couldn’t show up or else he would see that I was following him so I stayed cover but then it was taking too long and I suddenly hear screaming up there so I quickly walked up and … all I saw was Yerin pushed him and he rolled down…” she explained then she gulped still holding hard not to cry out loud.

“She’s crazy !! She want to kill him…! I saw it with my own eyes!!” added Yuju screaming now and falling into Sowon’s arms again, crying against the tall girl who didn’t know what to do except hugging Yuju and reassure her until the ambulance arrive.

Yerin came back followed by paramedics who approached Jackson and asked everyone to move away to leave them space to do their work. They checked him quickly while Umji explained again what happened then they put him on a stretcher before taking him out.

“Can you come and stay with him?” asked one of the paramedics to Umji who was the one taking care of him till now.

Umji looked at her friends before nodding and following.

Jackson’s friend leave too and Sowon told the girls she could drive them to the hospital. They all nodded and followed Sowon to her mother’s car. Then they noticed that Yuju was with them, Sowon looked at her and asked her if she wanted to go with them. Yuju simply nodded and nobody said anything. They got into the car and started to head toward the hospital.

The ride was silent, Sowon was focused on the road while Yerin who was in the passenger seat seemed lost in her thoughts. Eunha was on the backseat sitting in the middle between SinB and Yuju.

The atmosphere was tense but Sowon didn’t feel like trying to make everyone feeling better, she just couldn’t wait to arrive at the hospital hopping Jackson would be okay. There was a bit of traffic but she knew that the ambulance would arrive sooner as they were in an emergency situation.

As they were almost there SinB’s phone rang. She looked at it and frowned.

“It’s Jiyoon unnie....” she said scared and Yerin turned around.

“Give it to me.” she said and SinB handed her the phone.

Yerin answered. “Yes? No… it’s Yerin.” said Yerin seriously. “She’s with me, yes… Jackson is… he’s not…” Yerin sighed. “There was an incident. We are on our way to the hospital...” said Yerin as Jiyoon was clearly talking a lot now. “Yes… that’s why there was an ambulance…” said Yerin as she listened to Jiyoon. “Yes, I will. Okay bye.” said Yerin before hanging up.

“She wants an explanation of everything when we get back from the hospital…” said Yerin before giving the phone back to SinB without another word.

Yerin meet eyes with Yuju who frowned as she turned back to face the road again.

“I don’t regret it.” said Yerin and Yuju frowned even more.

“Of course you don’t, you are a psycho!” said Yuju mad. “You just want to kill my boyfriend!”

“He was about to hurt SinB!” said Yerin getting mad too. “Can’t you understand?! Are you that stupid?!” she asked her frowning and looking at Yuju. “I don’t want to kill him but this time, I hope he will understand that he need to leave us alone!”

“You should be the one leaving him alone! You are harassing him!” answered back Yuju.

“Yuju!” said Sowon with an authoritative tone and everyone shut up. “You know Yerin is right, you heard him, he wanted to give her and SinB a good lesson, he was the one harassing them. It was always him… He harassed Eunha too, he’s bad… really bad. Can you please open your eyes?!” said Sowon and Yuju didn’t said anything.

Eunha looked at Yuju sadly. “You know he’s bad, he’s bad with you too…” she said and Yuju shook her head looking at the window avoiding eyes contact.

“He’s my boyfriend, he loves me…” she said as her voice cracked and tears came to her eyes.

“He’s manipulating you, using you…” said SinB lowly.

No one added anything as they parked at the hospital and got out of the car. They walked through the parking lot and entered the hospital.

They were about to ask the receptionist about the boy when SinB spotted Umji. She ran toward her and hugged her.

“How is he?” she asked as all the girls followed her.

“He’s fine, he’s in good hands, apparently he has a broken leg and his ribs was more injured. One even pierced his lung but they said we did good while waiting for ambulance so he will be perfectly fine in a while. He’s not in life danger.”

Everyone was relieved to hear that.

“You are lucky he’s fine!” suddenly said Yuju to Yerin with a cold tone.

Yerin stared at Yuju. “That bastard better never approach any of us again.” answered Yerin facing Yuju. “You better tell him not to try anything again us or he won’t be that lucky next time.” said Yerin with confidence.

“You’re seriously crazy.” said Yuju frowning. “How dare you talk about him like that after what you’ve done to him?”

“He asked for it! And he deserved it!” said Yerin angrily.  

The other girls didn’t dare to get in between them this time.

“As if stealing my previous boyfriend wasn’t enough now you have to hurt my new one?” said Yuju with disgust. “I’ve always hated you and I wish you could die! What have I done to you that you always steal my boyfriend?!”

Yerin frowned. “What?” she asked clearly confused. “I’ve never done that?”

Yuju rolled her eyes. “Don’t lie, you stole my boyfriend in high school! Even SinB know about it.”

Yerin looked at SinB who nodded and looked down.

“I never!” said Yerin insisting. “I never stole anyone’s boyfriend, certainly not yours!” said Yerin.

SinB frowned, confused too. “But you told me you did… that’s why I wasn't sure I could be your friend at first…”

Yerin frowned even more. “What? No… that’s not… I…” Yerin sighed. “I never said that.” Yerin looked at Yuju. “So that’s why you hate me so much? You think I stole your boyfriend back in high school?” asked Yerin and Yuju nodded.

“Why would she hate you that much if it wasn't for this?” asked SinB lost and confused. Didn’t Yerin admit that to her back then? wondered SinB more and more confused.

“Because of what happened back then…?” said Yerin unsure too now and both Yuju and SinB looked confused at her. Yerin looked down as she finally understood that they were misunderstanding each other all this time. “I thought Yuju disliked me because I dated a girl in high school, and I thought it was also why you didn’t want to be friend with someone like me SinB…” explained Yerin.

“So you are….?” asked Yuju frowning and looking at Sowon and Eunha before looking at Yerin again. “Then why would my ex-boyfriend tell me he cheated on me with you after you seduced him and had to break up to be with you?” asked Yuju frowning now. “Why would he lie? there’s no reasons, I’m sure you made that up.”

“I didn’t ! I swear!” said Yerin sincerely. “Why would I make up something that big?”

They all stayed silent some minutes then Yerin looked at Yuju again. “I remember your ex-boyfriend now.” she said as she kept thinking about what Yuju told her and remembered the boy now. “He was in english classes with us. We worked on a project together for a month.” said Yerin. “Near the end, he apologized to me because he wasn’t 100% into the project so we talked a bit and he told me that he had to move out of the country because he was ill. He had to go in a country where they would try to cure him better… he wasn’t sure it would work…”

Yuju was petrified and stared at Yerin not believing her. “No…” said Yuju shaking her head tears in her eyes. “He would have told me if he was ill, we were so close, he was my first love, my best friend…we tell each other everything...he was my everything!” said Yuju as she continued to raise her voice.

Umji tried to understand. “Maybe he couldn’t tell you…” she said sadly and Yuju looked at her.

“Why?” answered Yuju not understanding why would her best friend, her first love lie to her. Why wouldn’t he tell her so she can be with him.

“He didn’t want to hurt you… he wanted you to hate him so you would not miss him too much….” said Umji as it was the only logical explanation she could think of right now. “I think he did that to protect you.” said Umji and Yuju started to cry again, she turned around and ran away.

SinB was about to follow her but Eunha stopped her.

“Leave her some time… it’s a lot to deal with for her...” said Eunha seriously.

They all nodded and then a doctor came back and faced Umji. “He’s fine and he woke up.” he said to the girl who nodded. “You can go see him if you want.” he informed her and Umji nodded at him.

“Thank you.” she said politely.

The other girls frowned.

“Come on Umji you are going to go see him?” asked Eunha in a low voice.

“Eunha’s right.” said Sowon. “He’s fine, we should leave now.”

Umji shook her head. “No I need to see him first.” she said seriously. “Only some minutes, it won’t be long okay?” she asked and they nodded.

“Be careful…” said SinB worried and Umji nodded before following the doctor to Jackson’s room.

Jackson was lying on the bed, he could barely move as he was so badly injured.

As he saw Umji entering the room, he looked at her and smiled. “Umji?” he said surprised to see her but not that disappointed. “Worried about me?” he asked smirking and Umji got closer to him smiling and not answering anything.

“Alright, he need to rest so don’t stay too long.” said the doctor as he left the room.

Jackson arched an eyebrow as Umji was getting closer to him now. “Wanna give me a magic kiss?” he asked with a cooky tone “I didn’t know you were into me too.”

Umji smirked too and put her hand on his ribs, she pressed it slowly with her index. He immediately grimaced and growled in pain.

“You’re hurting me baby girl…!” he said trying to ease his voice but Umji didn’t move.

“I hope it’s hurting you bastard. And you better never lay your eyes on SinB or any of us again you hear me?” she told him and he wasn't smiling or smirking anymore.

The machine beside him was beeping faster as his heartbeat was accelerating with fear and pain.

“If I see you near any of us, even across the street, you will suffer way more than this…” she said as she pressed her index harder on his broken ribs.

He groaned in pain and Umji finally let go of him taking a step back.

“You little bi-l” he said clenching his teeth but before he could finish, Umji repress her index into his ribs again.

“If you see us across anywhere near you, you better turn around and walk away. I’m saying it one last time, do not let me see you or your boys near any of us. It’s my final warning.” she said finally letting go of him for good and walking to the door. “Goodbye Jackson.” she told him and he nodded while swallowing hard.

She left the room and saw a nurse rushing into it to check on the boy, Umji walked back to the reception to join the girls.

Hellooooo! Sooooo, how was this chapter? Was it too fast with all these action happening now? lol 

So, finally the misunderstanding is reveal between Yuju and Yerin. What did you guys think of it? Did any of you think of this possibility? And lastly, our Umji is a badass isn't she? =P I love this part so much hahaha when she was warning Jackson.
