Finally it was the day of the showcase, the day they all waited for impatiently. When SinB arrived to the dance school that day, Sowon was already here with Umji, waiting for her at the entrance, they walked together inside very determined and went to the room Jiyoon assigned them. They were all excited, they would perform on the scene in front of a real public tonight. It was a really important moment.

They would also discover the outfits Yerin made for them. SinB was really eager to see what the girl had made for them. And just when she was thinking about that, someone knocked on the door, Sowon ran to open and Yerin entered, smiling as she saw how curious the three girls were.

“Ready girls?” asked Yerin putting down the big box she had in hands as she entered. She slowly started to open and could clearly see the girls stamping impatiently. She laughed and opened the box not wanting to torture them more longer. “Tadam!” she said as the girls looked inside the box.

SinB was the first one that took one outfit to look at it closer. “Wow Yerin, this is so beautiful.” said SinB looking at the chemistry girl not believing it was her that made this for them.

“I want to see you girls in it!” said Yerin excited too. “I have to make sure the measurements I took on you last time are good.” she said and the girls nodded. “If not I will have some time before you go on stage to fix it.”

Umji looked at Yerin shyly. “Can you just…” started Umji by hiding her eyes with her hands, asking Yerin to do the same gesture. “Close your eyes please or turn around?” she finally voiced out all shy and blushing and Yerin nodded understanding the girls may be shy to change in front her her, Sowon and Umji didn’t know her that much.

“Yeah of course, how silly am I, I will wait for you to change outside, come get me when you’re done.” said Yerin walking out the door.

The girls got dressed and started admiring each other, they were all wearing the same outfit, black top and red short. The top was a black sleeveless t-shirt that had a v collar laced up showing a little their chest but not too much. The sides were cut open and laced up with little metal chains, it gave a badass style to the top and also giving them more space for their dancing moves. The bottom was a red denim short short with black nylon tights making their legs look long and y. The girls really liked it and they could wear their comfy white sneakers with it, it was just perfect.

“We look so hot!” said Sowon touching SinB’s skin on her side through the opening of the top.

“Yah! Don’t touch me with your cold hands you giraffe!” hissed SinB slapping away Sowon’s hand while Umji laughed at them before remembering Yerin was still waiting outside the room.

Umji ran to the door and opened it. “Yerin! Come see us.” she said and Yerin entered smiling as she looked at them.

“It looks better than I expected on you girls!!” said Yerin her eyes on SinB who smiled back at her.

“Thank you for your hard work, you made such a good job, I don’t regret that someone else took our first outfits!” said SinB sincerely.

Yerin smiled again and sighed. “Well I also have the schedule list of all the groups going on scene. There is your number on it you are just before the singing group but just after Jiyoon’s class show.” she informed them and the girls nodded. “So you have twenty minutes before joining us in the auditorium.”

“Okay, thank you Yerin, for everything…” said SinB shyly.

“You’re welcome.” said Yerin smiling before waving at them and leaving the room

As Yerin left the room, Umji smirked while looking at the duo in which they both raised an eyebrow.

“Umji, why are you smirking like this?! It’s creepy!” exclaimed Sowon.

“Aren’t you two excited to see your crushes? How would they react seeing this y outfit of yours huh?” grinned Umji which made the two of them blush.

“Actually, I am quite excited but at the same time worry. Do I really look good in it? What if Eunha sees it and find it ugly?!” asked Sowon which made SinB laugh and glare at her.

“Sowon ar, aren’t you confident of your body?! Since when did you lose confidence in your body?!” said SinB rolling her eyes.

Umji nodded and added, “Yeah, I’m sure Eunha will be drooling seeing you like this!”

Sowon still pouted, feeling insecure then SinB approached and started touching Sowon’s waist through the top and earned a smack from Sowon. “YAH!! YOU !” exclaimed Sowon making SinB laugh again.

“Okay, girls, let’s do one final warm up before we go meet them at the auditorium!” said SinB in which the other two nodded and went to get in line for their last practice.

As they were done, the trio walked toward the auditorium. As they entered, Sowon spotted her little bunny, Eunha waved at them with a big smile on her face, SinB looked over there and saw Yuju beside Jackson. They were laughing together. SinB was pouting that Yuju was too busy chit chatting to come greet her. SinB was about to go see Yuju but then, she heard Jiyoon calling them in the back so they walked to the teacher instead.

“Wow, nice outfits.” said Jiyoon looking at them and smiling. “I knew Yerin would do a great job! I can’t wait to see you girls on stage.” encouraged the teacher before the lights turned off. Only the scene was lightened. From backstage they could see the other perform from the side of the scene, they were much closer than the public and could hear pretty well the music. A first group performed, then a second and after almost half an hour later it was SinB, Umji and Sowon turn.

As the song started the girls focused only on the music and on their moves, they were moving perfectly in sync. During their break dance, SinB was in the middle and started. Her move and her groove were so impressive that it was earning so much cheer from the audience. Afterward, Sowon and Umji joined her and made the crowd stand up and scream. It seemed so easy for them but it was because of all the hard work and all those hours of training that they were able to show a perfect performance in front of their friends and teachers.

As the music stopped, the girls received loud applause from the public, most of the people even stood up to their performance, the kids from Jiyoon’s group were shooting loudly from backstage and the girls bowed politely before shyly exiting the scene.

They got time to drink some water and quickly went on the side since it would soon be Yuju and Eunha’s group to sing. SinB couldn’t miss it, she wanted to hear Yuju lovely voice so much. As she was standing beside Umji, Yerin came to sit beside her.

“You were amazing.” whispered Yerin with her eyesmile. “Everybody was stunned when they saw you girls. You gave a very good impression on them, it was a fantastic performance you offered us. I’m sure it would attract a lot of newcomers!” added Yerin and SinB blushed. “I can see that you’re really passionate about dance and that it’s not just a hobby for you.”

SinB nodded. “I dance since I’m a baby.” she laughed. “My dad’s a dancer.”

“I understand better now.” winked Yerin.

SinB was about to add something but a song started so her eyes turned to the scene immediately. Here standing in the middle, in a beautiful long white dress was Yuju, her eyes closed and a mic in her hands, she started singing and SinB shivered. She already heard the girl sing before but only in karaoke, here, her voice seemed so pure and strong.

“Wow…” breathed SinB out loud and Umji hit her arm.

“Calm down you will drool on yourself.” whispered Umji in SinB’s ear.

SinB blushed but couldn’t take her eyes away from Yuju. As the song continued, Eunha and the boy walked on the scene, they went on each side of Yuju and started singing with her. It was true that their voices matched this song very well. Yuju turned to the guy and they started singing while looking at each other’s eyes. As the song continued, the boy went between the two girls, he sang with Eunha and ended up with his arm around Yuju’s waist.

Yerin touched SinB’s arm to get her attention. “Your friends have such great voices.” she complimented and SinB nodded proud of them. “Yuju and Jackson have so much chemistry, are they dating?” asked Yerin curiously.

“What?!” asked SinB a little more louder than she expected, how could Yerin think that this boy and her Yuju were dating. “Of course not, they don’t.” she immediately added. “Are you crazy?” asked SinB frowning.

Yerin got a little surprised by SinB’s reaction. “I’m just asking because they look good together and when they look at each other there is like a connection, but if you say they aren’t dating then I believe you…” said Yerin calmly and not knowing why SinB would react that strongly for something like that.

SinB frowned even more and passed by Yerin. “Excuse me I need to get some fresh air.” said SinB as she walked away and left from behind as the song ended.

Umji turned to Yerin and frowned. “Where did she go?”

“Get fresh air…” said Yerin a little worried. “She got mad when I asked if Yuju was dating Jackson…” explained Yerin pointing to the couple on the scene and Umji nodded understanding immediately.

Umji stood up too and went out, she walked around and finally found SinB, her back against the wall, outside of the school. “Hey buddy.” said Umji as she approached. SinB looked at her but didn’t say anything, she was clearly thinking a lot. Umji went beside her and sighed. “You okay?” asked Umji and SinB nodded. “Come on, tell me what’s bothering you?”

SinB hesitated a minute. “Do you think Yuju likes me?” asked SinB suddenly and Umji cleared .

“She likes you a lot but to be honest I don’t know if she likes you like you wish she would.” said Umji sincerely. “I hope she does because I want you to be happy but I can’t tell you.”

SinB nodded. “She makes me feel so special.” said SinB looking down. “When I’m with her I’m happy but when I see her with that guy I get jealous and start wondering where I stand in her life you know… Am I the only one that she treat like that or did she look at that guy with those beautiful eyes and smile at him like she smiles at me…”

Umji squeezed SinB’s arm gently. “Yuju is your friend, a close friend, she consider you a best friend, if that guy was important for her she would have told you about him don’t you think?” said Umji and SinB looked at her best friend with eyes full of hope.

“Yeah, you’re right Umji, she totally would have told me!” said SinB remembering the dinner at Yuju’s house and how Yuju claimed to her parent that SinB would be the first one to know if the girl would have a boyfriend. “I have nothing to worry.” smiled SinB and Umji smiled back at her, happy that her friend was happy again. “Plus tonight after our showcase, I’m sure we can spend time together! I missed her so much! I can’t wait!!” exclaimed SinB happily.

“Let’s go back inside and finish watching the performance then!” said Umji taking SinB’s arm in hers. They went back to the auditorium and finished to watch the show.

After the showcase, the trio went to change into their normal outfit. They let the other groups get changed first since they were still lots of kids and Umji find that it was better for them to change first so that their parents wouldn’t need to wait long in which SinB and Sowon agreed.

As they were waiting, they saw Yerin walking to greet them happily.

“Girls!! You were really amazing!! You know I was walking by and most of the people were commenting on your performance. They were all shocked at how awesome it was, as if it’s coming from real idols you know?!” said Yerin excitedly in which the trio looked at each other and smiled happily.

“Really?!” exclaimed Sowon. “Does that mean, that we might get scoop by some idol company then?! To ask us to be their trainee?!” she asked which made SinB and Umji laugh.

“Yah! We are not that great to be real trainee you know that right?!” said Umji but Sowon just rolled her eyes.

“True, they wouldn’t request us to be dancer but maybe after seeing my...” she start showing up her curve, “...my proportioned body, they might want to offer me a model job!” she exclaimed which made SinB and Umji roll their eyes this time.

“Right, giraffe, right...” said SinB with a mocking tone and earned a smack from Sowon.

Yerin laughed with the girls. “So, what are you girls going to do afterward? Are you girls going to celebrate?!” asked the chemistry girl and Sowon nodded happily.

“Yeah!! We are probably going to meet up with our other friends Eunha and Yuju to hang out. It’s been a while!!” said Sowon happily. “Do you want to join us Yerin?” she suddenly asked to Yerin.

Yerin looked at Sowon, surprised by the invite but then looked at SinB who was looking on the floor. And then Sowon bite her own tongue, remembering that Yuju doesn’t want to see Yerin.

As if Yerin saw the tension she smiled and shook her head. “No, it’s okay. I wouldn’t want to intrude your bonding time. I will be heading off. It was glad to meet you girls!” she said sincerely then she walked away but Umji held her arm.

“Yerin, what do we do with the outfit?” asked Umji.

“Oh, you can keep it. As a souvenir from me!” she smiled at Umji in which the latter nodded then as Yerin was turning away again, SinB held her arm this time.

“Yerin ar…” whispered SinB shyly.

Yerin looked at SinB. “Hm?”

“Thank you...for everything..again...” said SinB lowly in which Yerin smiled bitterly.

“It was my pleasure. Take care.” said Yerin then she left the room for good.

The atmosphere was weird, Sowon was looking at Umji, not knowing how to react. “Okay, let’s get changed. Most of the kids left already then you two can go see your crushes!” said Umji quickly and ran into one of the cabinet to change.

After that, the girls went to wait for Yuju and Eunha in front of the school. Sowon seemed really happy. “Since the showcase is over, we can hang out tonight!” said Sowon with a big smile. “I miss Eunha so much…” she confessed and SinB nodded, she also missed Yuju a lot recently.

Umji sighed. “I’m so tired with all these studies and practice. And I still have one last exam tomorrow. You girls have fun without me! I will message you when I’m done tomorrow.” said Umji sadly, she really wanted to hang out with the girls but her studies were more important. She looked at SinB who smiled and wrapped her arms around Umji’s waist. Umji bid goodbye to them and left.

Then SinB heard voices coming from the other way and when she turned around she saw Yuju and Eunha with that Jackson boy. She looked at him and shook her head, he wasn’t that attractive thought SinB but he had something of a bad boy that girls must like. She tilted her head and smiled at Yuju that came directly to her and hugged her side. While Jackson walked a little away, his eyes on his phone.

“You were so great!” exclaimed Yuju.

“You too.” said SinB sincerely.

Yuju smiled at her. “Your dance is really amazing but it’s not a surprise coming from my SinB! Plus, wow your outfit was so kickass!!!” said Yuju with a wink to SinB who blushed.

“What about me?” asked Sowon pouting.

Eunha smiled at her. “You were fantastic Sowon, I didn’t know you were that good at dancing. And you looked really hot in the outfit..” said Eunha blushing reaching Sowon’s hand to hold it and Sowon smiled brightly.

As they continued to talk, they suddenly heard some voice from behind.

“SinB noona!!!!!” screamed a familiar little voice.

SinB smiled and turned around, seeing Yejun running toward her and Yerin running after him. SinB bend down to pick him up and hugged the little boy tightly.

“Hello, my dear Yejun!” said SinB happily, she missed this kid.

“Noona!! You were so amazing!!! The way you move! The way you pop waaaa!! It’s incredible!! I want to be like you!!!” exclaimed Yejun.

Then Sowon approached them and smiled. “Wow, so this kiddle is the famous Yejun?” she asked remembering SinB talking about him often and SinB nodded. “He’s adorable!!” exclaimed Sowon in which Yejun hided his face toward SinB.

“Yah! Yejun! You can’t just hide yourself behind a lady! Where’s your manner?!” scolded Yerin as she stood beside them.

Then they heard a comment from Yuju. “Of course, this kid have no manner just like his cousin.” she said coldly before looking at Yejun with a softer expression. “Hi, remember me?” she asked and Yejun just slowly nodded his head.

“When you grow up, you can be like SinB but not like your cousin. Your cousin is like a servant, serving everyone, bringing water to people. You should be a better person!” said Yuju and Eunha frowned before nudging Yuju away from the kid.

“Yuju ar…” she whispered not liking this comment, Eunha didn’t know anything about Yerin or that little boy but it wasn’t something to say to a kid...

Yuju shook her head. “What?” she asked frowning.

“Well, at least, I help people and make them happy. Unlike someone who’s just too preoccupied with her own project and neglect others all the time.” responded Yerin back making Yuju glaring at her.

Seeing the tension, Sowon spoke up. “Ah, Yejun, it’s okay to hide behind such a beautiful lady isn’t it?” winked Sowon in which Yejun blushed again.

Yejun jump down from SinB and went toward Yerin. “Noona, who is she? She’s so pretty too!” he whispered excited and Yerin laughed.

“SinB ar, you might have a competition.” she winked to SinB in which Yejun hit her leg.

“Yah noona!!” exclaimed the little boy.

“Huh?” SinB looked at Yerin not understanding what was happening.

“Our little Yejun find Sowon very beautiful.” she winked and Sowon laughed before getting closer to the kid. She gently lifted Yejun up making him blushing madly. Eunha smiled at the scenery, Sowon looked so cute with that kid in her arms.

“I see…” sighed SinB faking a pout. “Boys are all like this. Seeing another pretty girl, he will just forget the old one...” she said teasing the little boy and Yejun eyes immediately widened. He jumped down from Sowon and went to hug SinB’s leg tightly.

“Yahhh SinB-noona! Not true! You are the most beautiful girl ever!! I want you to be my wife!!” shooted Yejun and the girls laughed.

“What? Our little Yejun already want a wife?” asked a familiar voice from behind. They all turned around and saw the director approaching them.

They all bowed down. “Thank you for the hard work guys!” said the director then he looked at SinB. “Especially you SinB. You were amazing out there. Would you girls be free to join us for supper tonight?” he asked but SinB and Sowon shook their heads.

“Sorry sir, we had plan already.” explained SinB politely.

The director nodded. “Ah, no problem. Let’s schedule it in a few days. Don’t forget to bring your other teammate. Umji is it?” he said and the girls just nodded. Then he looked at his two family members and smiled “Let’s go kids.” he said and started to walk away. Yerin rolled her eyes but blushed, she hated when her uncle would call her a kid especially in front of other people. Yejun wave goodbye to them and ran after the director. Yerin looked at SinB before looking down and walking away.

After they disappeared Sowon turned to Eunha with a big smile on her face. “So are we finally hanging out tonight?” asked Sowon happily but once again Eunha looked down and the tall girl understood. “Seriously?” she said clearly disappointed. “Again?” she asked giving a look at the boy some meters away still typing on his phone.

“Next time! We promise to hangout with the group after the performance to celebrate!” smiled Yuju. “See you girls tomorrow!” she added quickly as she took Eunha’s other hand to drag her away.

Eunha looked at Sowon sadly. “I will call you.” she said shyly but Sowon shook her head.

“Don’t.” she coldly answered and turned away to SinB. “Let’s go.”

SinB that stayed silent till now nodded and followed Sowon, they walked by the singer’s group without taking a glance and walked away.

Hello! How did you guys find the showcase? I hope it's not too bad. Obviously is not as good as the real one that we sees on youtube or in person! But hopefully it pictured well. Wasn't Yejun extremely cute here hiding behind SinB and interacting with Tom and Jerry line? 

Oh no, Yuju and Eunha is ditching SinB and Sowon again. But they said this is the last time and wil hang out soon! What do you think will happen? Will Tom and Jerry hang out on their own? Will Eunha reach Sowon since Sowon told her not to?
