As SinB walked around, she took her time, she wanted to think and cry alone. Everything was changing in her life and she wasn’t ready for this. She felt bad to fight with Umji but at the same time it annoyed her that Umji was thinking something like that about her.

When SinB finally arrived in front of her house, she saw a familiar figure. It was Sowon sitting and leaning back against the door. Sowon stood up as she saw SinB.

“What are you doing here?” asked SinB walking by Sowon with her key in hand to open the front door.

“I just wanted to check on you.” said Sowon frowning. “You seem even worst than this morning…” added the tall girl.

“I’m fine.” said SinB coldly, she wasn’t ready to fight with Sowon too right now. She just wanted to jump in bed and forget about everything that just happened.

Sowon sighed as SinB opened the door. “You’re not. I know you had a fight with Umji.” said Sowon and SinB frowned at her.

“How do you know?” asked SinB before thinking, Umji probably texted Eunha…

Sowon looked at SinB she wasn’t sure if she should follow the girl inside. “Umji called Eunha some minutes ago when we were sharing a milkshake at the coffee shop beside the library.” explained Sowon. “She’s still mad at you but she asked us to make sure you were fine…”

SinB entered and make sign to Sowon to follow her inside. Sowon nodded and entered behind SinB, they walked to the kitchen and SinB asked if Sowon wanted something to eat or to drink. Sowon shook her head and they went upstairs into SinB’s room.

As they sat on the bed SinB put her bag on the floor. “I’m fine, you didn’t had to interrupt your date with Eunha for me.” said SinB sincerely.

Sowon blushed. “It wasn’t a date…” said the tall girl smacking SinB’s arm.

SinB arched an eyebrow at Sowon. “Weren’t you two sharing a milkshake? Like two straw in one cup?” asked SinB and Sowon nodded. “That’s a date.” she confirmed and Sowon shook her head.

“We always do that, I never finish mine and Eunha is scared to get fat if she drink one by herself so we share.” explained Sowon to SinB who smiled a bit at the tall girl. They stayed silent until Sowon sighed. “So will you tell me what happen to you or I have to use force to get you to tell me?” joked Sowon and SinB bit her lips not to smile at the tall girl. Seeing that SinB hesitated Sowon put her hand on Sinb’s shoulder. “I trusted you with my secret SinB, and i didn’t do it for you to feel obligated to do the same. I’m not going to force you to tell me something you don’t want to share. I just want you to know that I do trust you and that you can trust me if you need someone to talk to.”

SinB looked at Sowon in the eyes and nodded. “Thank you Sowon…” she said before laying on the bed. “To be honest I’m not sure I want to talk about it again…” she confessed and Sowon chuckled.

“Well we can just rest, or if you want I can leave you alone?” asked Sowon about to stood up but SinB gripped her arm to prevent the tall girl from leaving. Sowon laid beside SinB.

SinB looked at Sowon. “I was in the exact same position an hour ago with Umji to talk about what is bothering me recently but it didn’t ended well. That’s why I’m not sure I want to talk about it right now…” Sowon stayed silent and SinB giggled. “So, if I don’t say anything, you won’t even try to ask me more about it?” asked SinB and sowon shook her head. “Okay, I will tell you..”

Sowon quickly turned to her and smiled. “Yes!” she exclaimed and SinB laughed out loud. “I’m so curious about it but at the same time I want to respect your boundaries.” said Sowon and SinB was glad she made friends like that. “But I’m really curious, so tell me what is bothering you?”

“It’s about my parents...” started SinB ready to tell all the truth to Sowon. “Don’t tell anybody but my parents are the head of a big company, a really big one.” she said seriously and Sowon nodded with a serious look on her face too. “They are really into business and for them the company is really important and they want me to be in charge of it when I finish my studies.” Sowon nodded again.

“I didn’t know you had that much responsibilities…” said Sowon sincerely and SinB nodded sadly.

“With those responsibilities comes duties. Reputation is everything and having good association with valuable people is really important.” continued SinB as Sowon listened carefully. “My mom tend to control who I can be friend with and her opinion can’t be refuted. And yesterday she claimed that Yuju wasn’t good for me, that she wasn’t valuable enough and that being around her would make my reputation down.” she explained. “That’s why I was sad this morning. Because when my mother decide that someone need to be out of my life she will do everything for this to happen.”

“I see…” said Sowon sadly. “So you’re scared she will force you to not see Yuju again?” SinB nodded. “But you’re an adult? Can’t you decide on your own now?” asked Sown frowning. “I understand she was doing this when you were younger, people may want to use you I guess but now is that really necessary?” asked Sowon concerned.

“She thinks it is…” said SinB looking down.

Sowon put her hand on SinB’s head and patted her. “But what does all of this have to do with Umji? Why would you fight with her? It’s something relate to Yuju not Umji.” asked Sowon confused. “I must admit she annoys me to hell when she’s less than a meter from Eunha but really if it wasn’t for my jealousy I would like this girl a lot, she’s a sweetheart…” confessed Sowon before realising what she said. “Don’t repeat what I just said to Umji!” warned Sowon and SinB laughed at her. “So you finally admit that you are jealous!” laughed SinB out loud.

Then SinB hesitated. “Hmm… Umji think that I stood up against my mother’s choices for the first time only because it was for Yuju.” said SinB shaking her head. “It’s stupid.”

Sowon frowned. “I’m not sure to understand.” she said and SinB sighed.

“Umji think I like Yuju more than a friend and that’s the reason I talked back and argued with my mom last night.” said SinB before continuing. “But it’s not, I really think I would have done it for you or Eunha too.” explained SinB. Sowon nodded but stayed silent. “What?” asked SinB seeing Sowon pout, clearly have something to say, but not saying out loud. “Don’t tell me you are on Umji side for this?” asked SinB rolling her eyes. “I’m not like that!” SinB defended herself while Sowon frowned.

“You’re not like what? Like me?” asked Sowon sitting up on the bed and crossing her arms on her chest, feeling offended.

SinB swallowed hard. “That’s not what I wanted to say Sowon…” quickly said SinB sitting too beside the tall girl. “I’m sorry if I offended you… It wasn’t my intention.”

Sowon relaxed as SinB put her hand on her thigh. “So you’re not disgusted by me?” asked Sowon needed to be reassured.

SinB laughed. “Of course not! If I was, I wouldn’t be talking with you right now!” she said and Sowon smiled at her. “It’s just that Yuju and I are very close, but it’s not like that between us…” explained SinB and Sowon nodded.

“If it’s not ‘like that’, then how is it?” asked Sowon repeating SinB’s words. “You clearly like Yuju more than me or Eunha… I’m pretty sure you love Yuju more than you love Umji…” said Sowon and SinB shook her head.

“Umji is my best friend, I can’t love anybody more than her. With Yuju, it’s different, It’s not like the way I love Umji.” said SinB seriously. “Umji’s like a sister! You can’t compare a friend and a sister. Umji asked me the same thing but really it’s different…”

Sowon smirked. “It’s different huh?”

“Don’t give me that look Sowon…” said SinB frowning.

Sowon shook her shoulders acting all innocent. “What look?” she asked and SinB sighed.

“The one you had on your face just before you asked Yuju to kiss me.” said SinB pushing Sowon, the tall girl fell on the bed and they laughed together.

“You started this war, I was just getting revenge.” said Sowon to her defense. “But actually, I should thanks you. I’m glad you dared me to kiss Eunha, I will remember and cherish this moment for all my life.” said Sowon smiling.

SinB smiled at her. “How did you know you were in love with Eunha?” asked SinB suddenly and Sowon was a little surprised.

The tall girl hesitated. “I don’t really know, I just felt it in my heart…” said Sowon sitting back and facing SinB. Seeing that SinB made a face Sowon got an idea. “You remember the weekend at my house?” asked Sowon and SinB nodded. “Well what Eunha said about loving someone really got stuck in my head because that’s exactly what I feel for her.” explained Sowon. “She make me happy and i want to see her every second of my life, I miss her every time I don’t see her and she’s the only one that can make me crazy because she’s the only one I love that much…”

“But how can you be sure it’s real love and not just best friend love?” asked SinB unsure.

“Just like you know the difference between the way you love Umji and how you feel about Yuju....” explained Sowon. “You are the one saying it’s different and you’re right, the way I love Eunha is so much more strong and intense, so different from the way I love Yuju or you…”

SinB scratched her head. “But what If I don’t want to fall in love…?” asked SinB in a sigh.

Sowon laughed. “SinB that’s not how it works. You can’t choose when or for who you fall in love, it just happen.” said Sowon and SinB sighed again. “And you my girl, you’re a deeply in love with our Yuju.” she added. SinB was about to deny when Sown stopped her. “Listen to me, don’t interrupt me. It shows in the way you look at her SinB, you can’t hide it.” said Sowon and SinB frowned.

“How do I look at her?” asked SinB curious.

Sowon smiled sadly. “You look at her just like I look at Eunha.” said the tall girl sincerely. “That’s why Umji told you this, she probably saw the look on your face, the way you act and blush around Yuju, because if I can see it, Umji can see it too.”

“I still don’t understand what you are talking about Sowon. I treat Yuju as a close friend. I don’t look at her differently…” argued SinB calmly.

Sowon held SinB face and looked straight into her eyes.

“Remember, when you girls kissed? Tell me honestly, how did you feel? Did you feel disgusted? Or did you feel like you were in heaven? Did you feel like the world around you just stopped? And you wished that you get to kiss her again and again? Because that’s how I felt about Eunha. When my lips landed on hers, I felt like I was in a paradisiac world. My heart was beating so fast, as if I would die at any second but I don’t regret it. I wish I can hold her close to me and kiss her again and again. I want to be by her side. I can’t imagine a day without Eunha. I can’t imagine a day when Eunha show up to me with a guy beside her. That’s how I feel SinB. What about you?” asked Sowon getting teary just at the thought of imagining Eunha having a boyfriend.

SinB stayed silent, she was thinking about everything Sowon told her, she was thinking about her talk with Umji and she touched her lips, remembering the kiss she had with Yuju and then held her heart, trying to imagine Yuju with a guy. Suddenly she fell down on her knee and started crying. She really was in love with Yuju…
