Later during the next week they all hang out with Yuju, they went to the cinema, then decided to stop for an ice cream. While eating, they talked and enjoyed themselves. Eunha and Yuju talked about the classes they had in common and how hard it would be to remember all the terms and agreed to study together after school.

As their hangout ended, they all went back to their places. SinB was walking with Umji, she was happy. Things seemed back to normal, only one thing wasn’t good, it was Yerin. 

SinB shook her head and focused on the good time she just had with her friends. I was good to be all together again, like before. It wasn’t exactly like before since SinB wasn’t feeling the same toward Yuju now and their friendship was just beginning, they went back to zero, they would have to rebuild the trust and the love they once had but seeing how good it was today SinB knew they would all be friends again soon.

Yuju wasn’t the same either, just like SinB she changed, she matured thought SinB, became an adult, she seemed more responsible. Yuju probably went through hard stuff while dating Jackson, just like SinB she went out of this by being stronger.

As they arrived home they started preparing dinner. They didn't eat out since it was a week day and SinB didn’t want to go to sleep too late. It was making Umji roll her eyes to see SinB suddenly worried about her studies but she was glad she was working hard to not fail even after everything that happened this year.

Umji was doing most of the cooking but SinB was around helping. Umji looked like she wanted to say something but stayed silent. SinB saw it but didn’t insist, Umji would talk when she was ready.

The intense week of exam arrived faster than SinB expected, but luckily she spends most of her time studying these days and as her first exams passed she felt like she did okay. 

She was studying with Umji when the girl put down her pen and looked at SinB.

“SinB?” asked softly Umji and SinB looked at her best friend.

“It would be nice to do something after our exams period?” she asked and SinB nodded. “With the girls, something fun all together?”

“Why not, it would be a celebration of exam period done.” said SinB smiling. “It’s a good idea.”

“I was thinking maybe we could go to the amusement park? It’s been so long since I went there and I think you too.” proposed Umji and SinB nodded.

“Attraction park would be great.”’ said Sinb agreeing. “Let’s ask Sowon Eunha and Yuju if they can come, the weekend after our exams? or maybe after the week we get the results? on the saturday?”

Umji hesitated. “Why not the sunday?” she said and SinB shook her shoulders.

“You have other plans for saturday?” she asked her best friend who shook her head.

“No, but I think it would be better on sunday.” just said Umji smiling.

SinB could see something was off with Umji but with all the stress of exam SinB nodded.

“Perfect for sunday then.” she smiled and Umji seemed happy with this answer.

SinB stressed a lot as the most important exam arrived, she studied a lot but she also missed some classes after the incident with Jackson… She couldn’t fail those ones or the would have to redo her first year for sure and her parents would kill her.

SinB entered the classroom and behind her she felt  hand on her shoulder.

“You okay?” asked Yuju with a shy smile and SinB nodded.

“What about you?”

“I worked a lot during tutor to be okay but it’s one of the hardest classes so I don’t know.” said Yuju looking down. “If I worked hard since the beginning I would be better prepared.”

SinB sighed. “I’m sure you will do well, you worked hard recently and as we studied together I could see how much you improved.” said SinB reassuring Yuju. “Do your best yuju, you can do it.”

Yuju smiled and seemed happy to hear SinB nice encouraging words. “Thank you, you too you will do well, if I can pass, then you too, you’re way better than me.” said Yuju before patting SinB shoulders.

They followed the other students and were sent to their sit for the exam. As it started SinB looked around her, more and more students were entering and sitting, her eyes meet Yuju’s some tables away. Yuju winked at her and smiled. SinB smiled back and waited for the teachers to give them the subject then she focused on her exam. As soon as it started SinB read and started answering.

SinB was so focused that she didn’t looked at the time then suddenly the teachers announced that they had 15 minutes left.

Sinb looked up and then looked at her work, she reached the end already, she was on time. She reread her work and came back on a question she put away because she didn’t remember how to answer then as she was thinking hard, the formula came back to her and she could answer it.

She was pretty confident about what she answered as they were done. Yuju said she did her best and answered almost everything but that sadly she didn’t had time for the 2 last questions.

“Don’t worry, the 2 last questions were not that long, not giving much points I think you will be okay if you did the rest well.” said SinB as they walked out together.

“I hope that.” said Yuju not really reassured.

“I’m so hungry now, I couldn't eat before because I was so stressed but now I could eat so much.” said SinB looking at Yuju. “Wanna grab some food?”

“Why not.” said yuju following SinB.

They went to a fast food and ate hamburgers and ice creams. SinB was so hungry she ate so fast and almost choked on her food.

“Slow down.” laughed Yuju. “You have all the time, no one will take it away from you.’ she said and SinB slowed down.

They finished eating and stayed there relaxing. 

“Tomorrow is our last day of exam.” said SinB relieved it would almost be done. “Next week we will have results.”

“Yeah I read that we should have it on thursday.” said Yuju drinking her soda.

SinB nodded. “With Umji we were thinking about doing something fun after all this. On the sunday.” said SinB and Yuju waited for her to continue, not really knowing why she was telling her this. “We will go to the amusement park, wanna join us?”

Yuju was a little surprise but smiled, touched SinB invited her. “Will depend of the results, if I fail I will have to redo some exams to try to pass so I don't know, but if I can I would be happy to come.” explained Yuju and SinB nodded.

“Great.” smiled SinB. “Sowon and Eunha should be there too, and of course Umji, that got the idea.”

Yuju nodded then cleared . “Will Yerin be there too?” she asked unsure and SinB bit her lip.

“It’s complicated, I didn’t see Yerin since some days now, I don’t think she will be here.” said SinB swallowed hard, she was now thinking about Yerin again.

“I know I was awful to her before so I was hoping she would give me a chance to apologize.” said Yuju sincerely. “I tried to contact my previous boyfriend and it was true what she told me at the hospital…and his operation succeed but he knew he broke my heart so he didn’t want to appear in my life again thinking that I hate him. All this time I took my anger on her and she did nothing…” said Yuju looking down. 

“It’s okay, I’m sure you will have a chance with her, Yerin is understanding and she had a big heart. She will understand and forgive you. she forgave me so many times…” said SinB swallowing hard again as she was sad to talk about Yerin.

Yerin didn’t came back to her this time, she probably went to try her chance with the person she loves, the person she rejected Joy for. SinB shook her head, she didn’t want to think about that.

“You okay?” asked Yuju worried now.

SinB nodded.

“You are crying…” added Yuju brushing away SinB’s tears slowly.

SinB broke down and Yuju hugged her. “It’s okay....” she whispered to her while caressing her back. “SinB it’s okay.” she told her not really knowing what was happening.

SinB felt good in Yuju’s arms, she had missed her friend. Yuju was kinda reassuring, that was something SinB really liked about her. 

Even if the was quite selfish before, she would also be really caring, when she was loving someone she was really loving them and giving herself fully to them. Just like when Yuju was trying to protect SinB against Yerin or when Yuju was falling for Jackson, she would be totally doing it. 

SinB liked how strong and devoted Yuju could be even if sometimes she was blinded by her feelings and acting too fast on her instinct.

“I’m really happy that you are back in my life Yuju.” said shyly SinB as she moved a little away from Yuju’s embrasse and brushed her tears. “I missed you.” she told her and Yuju nodded.

“Me too.” said Yuju. “You were my best friend, my sister…”

“I’m sorry I messed up everything.” said SinB looking down.

“What are you talking about SinB? It should be me apologizing…I’m the one that messed everything…” said Yuju sincerely.

But SinB knew it wasn’t only Yuju, SinB took bad decisions too because of her feelings for Yuju.

“We both messed up.” finally said SinB looking at Yuju in the eyes.

Yuju laughed a bit and nodded. “Yeah, we both.” she said her eyes still on SinB. “Now will you tell me why you suddenly started crying?” asked Yuju nicely and SinB sighed.

“I don’t think you want to hear about it to be honest Yuju.” said SinB sincerely before looking down.

“It’s about Yerin?” asked now Yuju and SinB suddenly looked up at Yuju confused.

“How do you… know it’s about her?” asked SinB frowning now.

Yuju raised her eyebrows. “Well you became weird after I talked about her… you suddenly aren’t close anymore so I guess something happened…” said Yuju.

“Why are you so smart…” smiled SinB shyly.

Yuju laughed and shook her shoulders. “I don’t know, I was born with it.” she joked before becoming more serious. “So What is it?” she asked again.

SinB swallowed hard but stayed silent.

“If you don’t want to talk about it I understand.” said Yuju finally. “I’m probably the last person you want to share your problems with.” she added before looking at her phone. “We should go home study for tomorrow.” she continued as she stood up but SinB caught her arm before Yuju could leave.

“I’m in love with her.” confessed SinB looking down.

Yuju sat back and tried to look at Sinb but the girl was still looking at the ground.

“Yerin? you are in love with Yerin?” asked Yuju surprised. SinB nodded without looking up. “Wow..” said Yuju clearly processing the information. “I should have guessed.” finally said Yuju and SinB looked up shyly meeting Yuju’s eyes but Yuju just smiled at her.

“What do you mean?” asked SinB confused.

Yuju laughed lightly. “I was so jealous of her, big part because I thought she stole my boyfriend but also because she was stealing you, my best friend away from me, but all she stole is your heart.” said Yuju sighing. “Now I understand why you were always so attracted to her, you would always come back to her no matter how many times I asked you not to.” said Yuju nodding to herself.

“No no.” said SinB. “I was not in love with her at that time…” she said sincerely. “I just realized my feelings for her recently, when her ex girlfriend arrived…” explained SinB.

Yuju smiled. “I think you had feelings since way longer than that… you two are like magnets since you meet, I can understand now...”

SinB shook her head. “I don’t know, I don’t think I liked her like that at the beginning, I thought it was you I loved.” said SinB before realising what she just said. “I mean I… I was…” Finally she stopped talking and looked down again.

Yuju frowned. “Me?” she asked and SinB nodded. “But… I…. I don’t understand. You were into me since the beginning?”

SinB scratched her head. “Yeah… I felt for you so hard when we meet Yuju… You were so amazing with me, so brave and spontaneous and so unique, I never met anyone like you. You made my world go upside down, seriously I really admire you and loved you so much…” said SinB feeling her chest lighter now she spoke it out. “I wanted to please you and make you happy but it was never enough for you to love me back, especially when you met Jackson…”

“Yeah Jackson…” said Yuju thinking back about everything that happened between them. “That was why you were so weird around him? You were jealous?” asked Yuju trying to understand.

SinB nodded. “So jealous, I was even more mad at him when he started hitting on me behind your back…” said SinB feeling mad just thinking about it. “I was in so much pain to watch you with him all the time, I wished it was me in your arms, I wished it was me kissing you, holding you…”

Yuju blushed lightliny. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know, if I did I wouldn’t have done half of the things I did to you… God…. I insisted all the time for you to spend time with us… I didn't know how you were feeling… I’m really sorry SinB…”

SinB shook her head. “It’s okay, you couldn't know, I was so scared to tell you about it, I was scared you would reject me and hate me, you were not really cool with Sowon and Eunha so I was sure you wouldn’t accept me.”

Yuju swallowed hard. “It was stupid of me to react like that toward Sowon and Eunha, I was just imagining everyone was like me and wanted everything I wanted but we all are different and want different things… I can only see it now.”  said Yuju and SinB new Yuju really mean it. “I wish I could have loved back at that time, because I really love you but not like that…”

“I know.” said SinB. “And it’s okay now.” she said sincerely. “You can’t force people to love you, you love who you love it’s like that. and once again I fell for someone that does not love me.”

Yuju looked at SinB tenderly. “Come here.” she said opening her armand SinB went to hug her. “You are so amazing SinB, one day you will find the right person and we will always be there to help you find this great love okay?” said Yuju and Sinb laughed as she nodded.

“You too Yuju, I swear you will find an amazing person who will love you for who you are.”

They hugged for some time then parted way to their houses. they still had some studies to do and SinB felt relieved to have an open talk with Yuju. It was so heavy to keep all this from the girl but now it was out and they were fine.

It had been long but it seemed like a way brighter future was ahead now and SinB was ready for it.
