On the next day when SinB woke up she looked around. Umji was still sleeping beside her but woke up as she felt SinB move.

“Good morning.” said Umji turning on her back and rubbing her eyes.

“Yesterday wasn’t a dream right?” asked SinB worried and Umji laughed.

“No it wasn’t.” said Umji shaking her head.

SinB smiled widely and jumped happily on her bed. “I‘m so happy Umji, so ling happy!!”

“Language SinB!” said Umji but SinB didn’t care and continued to jump happily. 

After a moment, SinB finally calmed down. Umji stretched herself and got up. “Isn’t Yerin coming over this morning?” asked Umji now and SinB panicked.

“Yes yes! you’re right, what time is it?” she asked quickly checking her phone. “I have to get ready and make breakfast!!”

“You?? Make breakfast?” asked Umji as she was usually the one cooking in this house.

“Yes me!” said SinB like it was evident. “I will cook breakfast for my girlfriend!”

Umji laughed at her. “So she’s your girlfriend now?” asked Umji with a teasing tone.

SinB suddenly stopped. “I… I guess… we didn’t really talk about it yet…”

Umji stood up and walked out of the room. “Well you should hurry, because breakfast won’t cook itself.”

SinB nodded and got ready before going to the kitchen. 

To Umji’s surprise, SinB was cooking well, paying attention to everything and taking care of all the details. SinB made a nice simple breakfast and Umji rolled her eyes as she made a plate for Yerin with a cute dressing.

“You are too much.” laughed Umji as SinB was finishing to dispose the food to form a heart.

“Really? This is too much?” asked SinB now worried.

Umji laughed even more. “No no, Yerin will love it!”

SinB seemed relieved, then someone rang the door and SinB ran to open it. There with a big smile on her face was standing Yerin, she had flowers in her hand, and she offered them to SinB who smiled sweetly and took them in hands.

“How not to love you?” asked SinB as she put the flowers in a pot in the entrance.

Yerin was still standing at the door so SinB pulled her in by her shirt and closed the door behind them before pushing Yerin’s back against the door to kiss her passionately. It wasn’t a sweet kiss, it was an intense kiss.

“I missed you so much.” said SinB her forehead resting against Yerin’s.

Yerin shook her head slowly. “How could you miss me, you were sleeping all the time I was gone,” said Yerin stealing another quick kiss from SinB. “Didn’t you dream of me?” she asked in a teasing tone.

“I did,” said SinB as she kissed her again and again. “But it wasn’t as good as this.”

Yerin laughed and kissed SinB’s forehead now. “You are the cutest.” 

“When you are done eating each other’s mouth, you can come eat breakfast!” called Umji from the kitchen.

Both girls giggled. “She knows us so well.” said Yerin with a wink before taking SinB’s hand in hers and walking to the kitchen.

“Good morning Umji.” smiled Yerin.

“Good morning Yerin.” answered Umji smirking as Yerin sat in front of her plate.

Yerin looked at her food and smiled. “That’s so cute.” she smiled before looking at SinB. “Come here.” she called and SinB approached ready to receive her kiss.

Yerin kissed SinB’s lips then grabbed her face and gave her many other kisses all over the face.

SinB giggled as Yerin was kissing her face. “You are definitely the cutest girlfriend ever.” said Yerin happily and SinB smiled even more brightly.

“I love you.” said SinB kissing Yerin one more time.

“I love you more.” answered Yerin caressing SinB’s face tenderly.

“Eww…” said Umji faking a disgust face and making the girls laugh. “Go get a room you two.” she told them joking and SinB rolled her eyes at her before sitting beside Yerin to eat too.

After a moment Umji stood up. “We should hurry, we agree to meet the girls in town this morning.” said Umji as she started cleaning around.

They all finished eating and left the house. On their way SinB couldn’t help but feel happy to be with Yerin, holding her hand. Just this little gesture was sending happy wave into her body, holding Yerin’s hand, holding her girlfriend’s hand in public, on their way to meet their friends, all their friends.

They did some shopping and for once, SinB didn’t mind much, she was enjoying every minute spend with Yerin and having fun with all her friends. They tried funny clothes and took pics of each others while doing funny poses, then when it was lunch time they went for burgers and ended up hanging out in town all day.

Later when it was getting dark, they decided to go karaoke. They started to sing one at a time, and of course, Yuju and Eunha were the best singer in the group, then they made duo, challenging each other to do the more funny performance possible. Sowon grabbed Eunha and they started, making an iconic comedy out of a very popular duet song.

SinB was laughing so much that her tummy was hurting. She decided to go next, having ideas for a funny dance while singing. She looked at Yerin and didn’t see that Umji was about to follow her.

Umji sat back and watched her best friend doing a show with her girlfriend singing and dancing ridiculously on a romantic duet, dancing the sentence as if they were in a theater play, mimicking all scene described in the song with exaggeration, making all the other girls die of laughter.

Last duo, Yuju stood up and took Umji’s hand. “I have an idea.” she smiled to her and Umji nodded as Yuju whispered to her ear what they could do to make the girls laugh too.

Umji choose the song. It was a rap song. Yuju and Umji were copying gangsta attitude while singing and acting badass while rapping quite well to the song. Umji liked this song and secretly really liked to rap but never dared to try it in front of her friends. She would usually rap alone in her room, like it was something she should be ashamed of.

Yuju wasn’t that bad at rapping too, but she didn’t know all the lyrics and to be honest even with karaoke, it was hard to read at the right timing so most of the time when it was Yuju time to sing, she would make up fake lyrics and sing about funny stuff, improvising completely but still manage to make the girls laugh very hard at the funny lyrics she was making.

Seeing this, Umji started doing the same and they were soon rapping about food and other silly stuff they enjoyed.

As they finished Eunha was really surprised. “You two never told us you could rap so well!” she said excited about it.

Sowon stood up. “I’m quite a good rapper too.” she said as she started looking for songs she knew. She chose a very famous one and soon all the girls were rapping to the song and enjoying themselves.

As they decided to leave, Umji went to pay, she wanted to invite the other girls, she had a very good moments and she was happy to invite them for this time. As she came out the girls were already waiting.

“Thank you Umji, it was so great!” said SinB hugging her and taking her arm as they all started to walk away to find a place to eat. 

“It was really fun.” said Umji and SinB nodded.

“You were so good with Yuju tonight.” said SinB pointing to the girls walking in front and talking with Yerin and Eunha while Sowon was listening to them and looking around to find a good place.

Umji nodded. “Yuju is so good it’s easy to sing with her, and she can also go completely wild while singing perfectly, it’s amazing.” said Umji then she looked at SinB in the eyes. “But I’m a little sad I didn’t get to sing with you…”

“It’s true that we didn’t sing together today.” said SinB looking down. “I was just so happy to be with Yerin…”

“I know don’t worry, and if you are happy, it’s enough to make me happy.” said Umji nicely.

“Still I’m sorry.” said SinB sighing. “It’s just that when I look at her, I want everything to go away and just be with her… I want to spend every second of my life with her.” explained SinB sincerely and Umji smiled.

“You are so in love.” she and SinB hit Umji’s arm playfully.

“Seriously, I don’t want you to feel like I don’t give you attention anymore.” said SinB and Umji nodded. “You are still my best friend!” she said messing Umji’s hair and Umji started to tickle SinB in revenge.

They calmed down and SinB smiled at Umji. “I’m just so happy right now, I wish you could feel the same as me, you would understand.” said SinB sincerely. “You will see when you will be in love and date the love of your life, you will totally forget about me.” she added with a teasing tone but Umji just looked down.

Umji stayed silent and SinB smiled as her best friend looked so shy right now talking about love affaire. “I think I saw something between Yuju and you tonight, you two were very close and so natural around each other.” said SinB and Umji frowned.

“I don’t think so SinB, I don’t know what you drank back there but there’s nothing here. Yuju is straight in case you forgot, she likes boys only and she made it very clear before. And for me I…” Umji hesitated and SinB looked seriously at her.

“Me I…” Umji had difficulties finishing her sentence. After taking some seconds Umji looked up at SinB. “There’s something I think I should tell you…” she continued very seriously and SinB started to worried to see her friend becoming nervous. “I should have told you before but I didn’t want anything to change and I wasn’t sure how to tell you SinB, but I-”

“Let’s eat here.” cut Yerin as she turned around and took SinB’s arm in hers and showing her the restaurant. “I heard it’s really good, and they have your favorite plate.” winked Yerin and SinB nodded before giving one last look at Umji who nodded and smiled.

SinB was a little annoyed and worried now, she wished she could have finished her talk with Umji before being interrupted. Umji seemed really serious about whatever she was about to say.

The more time passed the more SinB wondered what Umji was about to say earlier. It was true that it was silly to say something about her and Yuju, wasn’t like it would happen, even if they were good friends it was clear they would never date. These two were not made to be together so what was going on in Umji’s head.

Maybe she already had someone… wondered SinB glaring time to time at Umji and meeting her best friend's eyes all the time. Maybe Umji was in love with someone and never told her before. Maybe was dating someone from her private school… SinB would be a little disappointed to hear that, to be honest it would mean that Umji didn’t trust her to share her love life with her and it was hurting to think that.

SinB was getting impatient, she couldn’t wait to be alone with Umji to find out what was going on.

As they finished eating, they went to SinB’s house, they all went in the living room and sat comfortably around the coffee table. 

“I will bring some drinks and board games,” said SinB looking at Umji but her best friend was talking with Sowon.

“I will help you.” said Yerin about to stood up but SinB shook her head.

“It’s okay, Umji and I should be enough.” said SinB patting Umji’s shoulder. “Come help me? she asked her and Umji nodded before following her in the kitchen.

“So, what did you want to tell me earlier?” asked SinB as she was taking out glasses and sodas.

Umji looked nervous again. “It’s nothing really, just forget it okay?” said Umji as she put everything on a big plate making it easy to carry it to the living room. “I take the drinks go grab the games.”

“No.” said SinB holding the plate and stopping Umji from taking it away.

Umji put it back on the table and looked at SinB. “Look, it’s stupid okay, it was nothing important.”

“Didn’t seem like nothing earlier.” said SinB seriously.

Umji sighed. “I don’t know why I reacted like that earlier but really it’s not important.”

SinB got closer to Umji and held her arm slowly. “Everything about my best friend is important Umji, you can tell me everything you know…”

They stayed silent and SinB could see that there was a lot going on in Umji’s head. “Is it about what i said? I’m sorry that I made you uncomfortable when I implied there was something between you and Yuju, it’s wasn’t really serious you know…” 

Umji nodded. “I know, but it’s just that I’m not like you SinB…” said Umji shyly while looking down.

“Not like me? like, you want to say that you are not gay?” asked SinB smiling. “Because seriously it feels like a reversed coming out. You struggle to tell me you are straight.” said SinB wanting to laugh at the situation. 

Umji hesitated. “Well the thing is that I’m not gay but I’m not straight either…”

SinB smiled even more. “Well you are like Yerin, you like both girls and boys?” asked now SinB kinda reassured it was only about this that Umji was worried.

But Umji shook her head. “It’s more like I don’t like either boys or girls…” finally confessed Umji. “You know me since we are kids, I never fell in love, I was never really attracted by anyone, I thought it would come one day that I was a little late but it seems like I’m really not attracted by anyone. I feel more excited about a good book or a museum than I am by a pretty girl or a handsome boy…” explained Umji clearly relieved to finally talk it out.

“So you don’t want to be in a relationship?” asked SinB a little lost.

Umji shook her head. “Eww no… it’s really not what I want, I’m good enough with friends.”

“So you don’t want a lover? someone to hold you and kiss you tenderly?” asked SinB a little confused.

Umji shook her head. “No… all the kissing stuff isn’t really my thing… is even worst if I think about it… I don’t want any of that I don’t need any of that. I’m asual.” explained Umji looking now at SinB waiting for her reaction. Umji always kinda felt like that but didn’t know how to explain it, she wasn’t like everyone else, she was so different that she was scared that even her best friend would find her weird, or think it was just because she was young and would want a relationship later when she’s getting older but Umji was sure of it, she wasn’t attracted to anyone…

SinB was stills silent processing everything Umji just told her.

“Do you need a hand over there?” asked Yerin from the living room.

“No we are good!” answered SinB before looking at Umji in the eyes. “So it was your big secret, it was why you were so nervous earlier?” asked SinB and Umji nodded. “Well okay.” finally said SinB with a neutral tone like she was just agreeing on eating pasta instead of rice or something like that.

“That’s all?” asked Umji confused.

SinB nodded. “Yeah, it’s good.” said SinB. “I was scared you would hide a secret relationship from me or lied about someone you love or something but actually you had always been honest.” said SinB seriously. “You always told me you didn’t like anyone, that there was no one you would date because you were focused on studying so it makes sense.” said SinB. 

“Never once in my life you told me you had a crush on someone or liked someone more than friendship so yeah thinking about it I don’t know why I would want you to date anyone.” smiled SinB. “Now that I think about it I wouldn't see you date anyone anyways.” she added hugging Umji.

Umji hugged her back and they smiled at each other.

“Well the drinks and the games.” reminded Umji to SinB who nodded and went to get the games.
