The next day, SinB woke up with a headache. She didn’t sleep well and dreamed of her fight with Yuju, living the moment again and again. She couldn’t stop thinking about it. As she made breakfast, she texted Yuju, inviting her over for the day. SinB’s parents weren’t home so they could hang out in the house, talk and let this stupid fight behind them for good.

SinB waited and waited, but Yuju never answered. The day passed and SinB was worried. What if she had lost Yuju’s friendship? What if the girl would never talk to her?

After a while, she still haven’t heard anything from Yuju, so she decided to watch some tv. Then suddenly her phone made a noise. She got a text message, she opened it and saw : “Hey bodyguard, what are you up to?”

SinB smiled at the message, it was from Yerin. “Nothing much, just laying down watching tv, what about you?” answered SinB quickly.

“Ew, watching TV on your own on a saturday? That hardcore!!”  Reading this made SinB smile even more, she could totally picture Yerin’s face in her head.

“Haha, well I was planning to hang out with someone but I still haven’t heard an answer. *pout*”

“Aww, who are you waiting for? Is it me? *wink*” texted Yerin.

SinB started to giggle, Yerin was such a playful person. They kept exchanging text message in the light of speed. Then Yerin asked SinB if she wanted to meet up to watch a movie together.

SinB hesitated, not sure if she should but Yuju still haven’t answered her. So she decided to agree to it , and hopefully will get an answer from Yuju afterward.

SinB quickly rushed up to her room to find something to wear. Again, she put on her hoody and her jean and went out. When she got to the cinema, she saw Yerin already standing at the door. She was dressing in a cute light blue dress with some white stripes on it. It wasn’t that hot today so she was also wearing a pink leather jacket that SinB already saw on the girl before and had a small little bag on her shoulders.

As she saw SinB, Yerin waved at her happily, showing again her sweet eye smile.

“Hey bodyguard!!” said Yerin making SinB smile.

“What bodyguard?! You were my bodyguard!!” Answered SinB and this time it was Yerin that smiled and shyly fixed her bang that was a little messy because of the wind.

They entered the cinema and were heading to the counter to buy tickets.

“2 tickets please for 1pm showing.” said Yerin politely but sadly the person answered that the tickets were sold out. There was another showing at 3pm so Yerin looked at SinB to see if she was ok to wait for the next one.

SinB hesitated, it would be another 2 hours and movie would last another 1-2 hours that mean it would be 5 when they finished the movie… What if Yuju decided to see her, she wouldn’t be able to. SinB was pouting without realizing. She quickly got cut in her thoughts the moment Yerin was holding her hand and pulling her away.

SinB looked at Yerin feeling confused. But Yerin smiled at her. “You probably have something to do after right? Let’s just do something else for now and watch a movie next time we hang out!” explained Yerin not disappointed or anything by SinB hesitation. It was nice to make friends with people that could understand and accept simple things like that...

SinB smiled at her, she really felt like Yerin could read her like an open book. Then Yerin saw an arcade and asked SinB if she wanted to play. Of course SinB would agree. They went in and started with competing in basketball game. After the game, a lot of tickets with different number were coming out. SinB was staring at it while Yerin was happily gathering the tickets, counting how many points they got.

“What are those for?” asked SinB pointing at the tickets with an arched eyebrow.

Yerin stared at SinB. “You never been to an arcade like this?” she asked and SinB shook her head. So Yerin smiled at her, reassuring her, she wasn’t going to judge her. “You play games, and if you score good, you get tickets to exchange some prizes! Each tickets have differents point, those are the number of points you got in playing this game” in which SinB eyes glowed. Yerin could clearly see how excited SinB became suddenly.

“Really?! That sound so fun!!! Let’s play some more!!” exclaimed SinB taking Yerin’s hand to lead her to other games. They went to do some shooting games, some hitting hamster games and they gained a lot of tickets.

When they were getting a bit tired, they decided to see what they could exchange with the tickets that they won. They saw a lot of toys, games and plushy there as prizes. SinB noticed that Yerin was staring at a big yellow plush duck.

“You like ducks?” asked SinB to Yerin who nodded happily. SinB couldn’t held her smile, Yerin nod was like a cute little kid.

“Miss, how much points are needed to get that duck?” asked SinB to the woman behind the counter.

“The small duck is 1000 points, the medium is 2500 points, the large one is 5000 points and the huge one is 10 000 points.” explained the nice cashier to the girls.

“And how much do we have?” asked SinB putting the tickets on the counter.

The worker took the tickets and put in a machine. “You have 4488 points.” said the woman in which both of them frowned.

“Why don’t we go play some more game and get enough tickets for the large one?” asked Yerin clearly disappointed that she couldn’t get the huge one.

SinB noticed the disappointment and was looking around to see what game they could play but her eyes caught a flashy flyer.

“ BEAT THE HIGHEST SCORE AND YOU CAN REDEEM 10 000 POINTS!”

Sinb quickly went to get the flyer and asked the employee. “What is this game?!”

“Oh this game is the new game that we have in store, it’s a dancing game, but the tricky part is that, the song is chosen randomly at challenge mode.” SinB gulped, challenge mode was harder than expert mode.

“You will be recorded during the whole song and would be put up as an advertisement.” Hearing this SinB was stun. Not only would she be dancing in front of so many people but there would be video of her?!”

Yerin looked at her eyes wide open. “Wow 10 000 points SinB-ya!!!” her eyes were staring at SinB expectantly, with so hopeful eyes.

SinB gulped... What should I do...I don’t think I can do it I only did challenge mode a few times and there’s only a few song I know. And it would be random songs… if she failed, it was going to be so embarrassing… she thought trying to find out what to do.

Yerin realized that SinB was nervous she quickly held SinB hand. “Hey, let’s just get some more tickets to get the large one! I like the large one!” she said sincerely trying to drag SinB away from the dancing game.

SinB held her hand back and talked to the employee. “I will try that challenge!” she said determined, shocking Yerin in the process.

The woman guided her to the game and made her stand in the middle of the dancing mat. People were starting to gather around her and the camera was on. SinB hadn’t felt so nervous before in her life. Yerin was staring at her, hoping that the girl would be fine.

Yerin felt bad, she knew SinB was doing it for her and she would feel responsible if things don’t go well. Or if the girl failed and embarrassed herself in from of all those strangers.

3,2,1 start- the song was selected. SinB eyes went wide open, it was one of the hardest song of the game and it was one of the song that she only did expert mode and almost died!

She started to dance, people started to cheer, people were screaming at how quick she was dancing and how accurate she was doing it. For the whole 4 minutes, SinB could only feel her body moving, she wasn’t even sure how come she was pressing it so accurately. And finally, the song was complete and she had beat the high score since there was no high score in this song. No one was able to finish this song without failing.

“AND THE WINNER HAVE WON 10K POINTS!!!” exclaimed the MC.

SinB fell on her , her legs were shaking from the speed dance she just did. Yerin quickly walked to her side trying to get her up.

“You crazy girl!! You could have hurt yourself!” in which SinB just grinned at her.

“You really liked the duck, I wanted to get it for you!” she said sticking her tongue out.

Yerin smacked SinB’s shoulder but then they saw some people at the cashier and they were pointing at the huge ducks. Without hesitating, fearing that the duck will be taken away, SinB quickly took the prize tickets and ran to the cashier which scared the people away and the cashier smiled at her. “Please I want that huge duck for 10K!” the workers smiled at her and gave her the duck and even gave her a large duck, a medium duck and a small duck.

SinB was confused. “I thought it was 10K for that one? How come I am getting all those?”

The cashier smiled at SinB “You already have 4K points, and I will just give you some small gifts for beating that score. You were amazing there! It attracted lot of people around the game, it’s good publicity for us.” she explained honestly.

SinB smiled at the cashier, gave the ducks to Yerin who jumped so happily and SinB fell on the ground again. Yerin was holding the huge duck but she quickly put the duck down and went to get SinB. “Are you okay ??” she asked worried.

“Yeah, just my feet are … sooooo….weak … right now...” said SinB whining, Yerin and the cashier started to laugh. SinB stood up with Yerin’s help. Yerin kept her arm around SinB’s waist, making sure the girl could stand alone before letting go of her and picking up her huge duck.

“You have such a nice girlfriend!” said the cashier with a bright smile to Yerin who quickly denied.

“No no, we are not dating!” said the chemistry girl waving her hand in front of her. “We’re just friends.”

The cashier, seemed a little embarrassed. “Oh… oups, sorry, I thought you two were on a date. You two look like such a cute couple...” she explained and both Yerin and SinB were blushing before happily taking their gifts away and leaving the arcade.

As they were about to exit the arcade, the MC told them to wait. SinB won the prizes so they wanted to take a picture of her. SinB quickly wanted to decline but she would be used as an ads for the dancing game already. It couldn’t be that bad, she looked at Yerin, if she had to do it, it would be with Yerin too so she grabbed Yerin’s arm and finally agree to it.

“Oh! I will be on the pic too?!” asked Yerin to SinB with her puppy eyes. SinB couldn’t hide her smile and nodded.

Then they looked at the MC that was getting ready with the camera. Yerin held the huge duck and small duck while SinB was holding the medium and big ducks. Yerin wrapped her arm around SinB’s waist while SinB put her arm on Yerin’s shoulder and both of them smiled happily at the camera holding the cute ducks.

As they went out, SinB checked her phone quickly to see if Yuju talked to her but to her disappointment, there was no message.

Yerin was all happily dancing around with her new plushies. Then she stopped and looked at SinB “You okay? You need to go?” she asked and SinB frowned shaking her head.

Then Yerin phone was vibrating, she took it out and smiled at it. “Hey, my friends are asking me to hang out, do you want to join us?” she asked tilting her head and smiling at SinB.

SinB quickly shook her head. “No, thank you for inviting, but I should head home. I’m still waiting for my friend call, and my legs barely support me after this crazy dance...” she explained and Yerin nodded at her, they bid each other farewell and left.

As SinB turned around to leave, she suddenly feel a tap on the shoulder, she turned around and see the medium and small ducks. “Here, take these two at least.” said Yerin giving the ducks to SinB.  

SinB giggled. “But, I’m not obsessed with duck like a certain someone...” said SinB nonchalantly but then when she looked at Yerin, her eyes were throwing her daggers while her lips were pouting. And SinB laughed. “Ok ok, I will take the small duck, you can keep the rest.” she said, Yerin smiled happily and gave SinB a hug before leaving.

SinB finally got home and lay on her bed. She turned around, saw the small duck on her bed and smiled, she had fun with Yerin. But then she frowned realizing that Yuju still haven’t responded to her. Then her phone vibrates so she quickly went to look.

“Thank you for today!! You looked super hot doing that dancing game by the way!!! It was fun hanging out with you!! I love the gifts so much!! Let’s do it again soon!! I will see you at school on monday!! You are not only my bodyguard  now, you are also my santa claus! *wink*” SinB just smiled at Yerin’s sweet message and closed her eyes, lying back on her bed, trying to take a nap.
