The next day, SinB wake up feeling herself in a warm sensation. She slowly open her eyes and rub it, then she sees the collarbone of someone. The smell felt different and the sensation was different, it wasn’t Umji for sure, this person was bigger. SinB slowly got out and sees Sowon, she smiled, she wasn’t use to see Sowon in the morning next to her but she just remember that Umji stayed at her house yesterday while Sowon join her at night.

She slowly got out of Sowon embrace and reach for her phone. As she reach it, she felt Sowon pulling her back and hugged her tightly making SinB blush from the sudden affection.

She giggle and took her phone up to take a some silly picture of her with Sowon sleeping. Finally, she manage to get out of bed and walk toward the bathroom to wash herself. As she got in and brush her teeth, she looked at the mirror and remember the silly faces she did with Yerin and started to chuckle.

“Why are you chuckling by yourself?” asked Sowon with her sleepy voice.

SinB turned around and giggle at Sowon messy hair “Nothing, I just was just staring at the mirror.”

Sowon nodded then went to get her toothbrush too. As she was brushing her eyes widen “Wait, did you just say you were laughing while staring at the mirror?” she says shocked.

SinB smiled and nodded.

“How?!” asked Sowon, the past few days she was still so scare of the mirror, how did she suddenly stop.

“Thanks to Yerin, she made me do some silly faces with her in front of the mirror yesterday while waiting for you and my parents to be home...Now, honestly I am still scare but, I just have to keep reminding myself of Yerin silly face.” explained SinB in which Sowon nodded, happy for her.

Then not long after, she heard her parents down there talking. SinB and Sowon quickly change and went down. There, they sees Umji talking with SinB dad.

“Umji!!!!” exclaimed Sowon going to hug the latter which shocked her.

Umji giggle “Sowon, I just saw you yesterday. You make it look like you haven’t seen me for so long.”

Sowon frowned “You know how hard it is to take care of SinB!! I need you with me!! She drives me nuts!!” which made SinB glare at Sowon. “What are you talking about?!” exclaimed SinB.

“Yesterday, someone was so pouty because Umji wasn’t here beside her. She was sad that you didn’t message her. She was waiting for your text before bed and was complaining that you forgot her until you message her.” teased Sowon.

Umji giggle “Mianhe SinB. Appa and umma was talking to me about their business trip and went on and on for a long while hehe. But right after that I message you.” explained Umji while pulling SinB toward her for a hug.

SinB nodded and get into Umji embrace. “I miss you ar Umji. You know how bad Sowon is? She suffocate me yesterday!!” which made Sowon eyes widen “What are you talking about?!”

“She was hugging me so tight and then whispering Eunha ar, I miss you my bunny.” says SinB pretending to vomit which made Umji laugh out loud while Sowon turned red and ran after SinB. “I did not!!”

SinB took her phone out “Oh yes she did, she even pretend I was Eunha and hugged me so tight!! I thought I was going to die!!” then she show them the picture she took that Sowon was hugging her super tight.

“Yah!!!” screamed Sowon ready to jump on her until they heard SinB dad.

“You girls sure are energetic this morning. Ready for breakfast?” asked SinB dad in which they nodded and Sowon sending deadly dagger to SinB in which she just laughed and went to sit.

“Good morning umma appa!” says SinB happily while Sowon greet the parents too.

“Did you sleep well?” asked SinB mom.

Sowon nodded “Yeah, thank you very much for accommodating me.”

“No problem Sowon. Your mom is often at work at night?” asked SinB dad.

Sowon nodded “From time to time. Her schedule change every 2 - 4 weeks. So sometime when she work night shifts, she would worry that I’m alone at home and I would feel lonely, so I would go to my friends house.”

SinB dad nodded “Of course, it’s not good to leave a girl alone at home, especially a pretty girl like you.” he says in which Sowon blushed.

“Feel free to stay here. And you can cook us some supper too.” says SinB dad which made everyone laughed.

“Appa! What is this! She is our guest!” complained SinB but still laughed.

“Well, you know your friend cooking even manage to make our queen taste bud flinch.” he winked which made SinB mom cough.

“Well, Sowon cooking is indeed delicious.”  says SinB mom nicely.

Sowon smiled “If you guys don’t mind, I can go get some ingredient after work today and cook you supper.”

“Oh, you worked?” asked SinB mom.

Sowon smiled “Yeah, at a library. Just helping out a bit there. The owner is a bit old, so I tend to go there to help him out.” in which SinB mom nodded approvingly.

“Umji ar, are you coming over tonight?” asked SinB mom.

Umji shakes her head “I will stay home tonight again. My parents will be going away on business trip soon again.”

“Oh, when? Why don’t we have supper together before their next one?” suggest SinB dad looking at his wife.

SinB mom nodded “Yeah, that sound good. Are they free tomorrow?”

“I’ll message them and get back to you!” smiled Umji then their doorbell was ringing. So they all stood up “I think Yerin is here to get us. Good bye! We will see you tonight!” then they left and meet Yerin outside.

As SinB sees Yerin she jumped on Yerin catching the girl off guard. She smiled and hugged SinB “Good morning princess.”

SinB smiled but then frown when she sees Yerin eyes. “You look tired. Are you okay?” asked SinB worried.

Yerin smiled and nodded “Yeah, just didn’t sleep well yesterday.”

“You should take care of yourself Yerin ar.” says Umji.

Yerin nodded “Yeah, I am. Thanks Umji.”

“Oh, like I said, I need to go to work tonight, Yerin, do you think you can get SinB?”

Yerin looked at them hesitating “Oh..yeah sure.”

“Do you have something to do?” asked Umji nicely.

“Oh, no no. Don’t worry about it. Let’s go before we are late.” says Yerin bidding goodbye to Umji.

As they got off the bus, they were walking toward the entrance. They sees Yuju with Jackson there. Both Yerin and Sowon held SinB hand tighter as they walk pass them but right in front of them, Yerin friend jumped on Yerin which made her let go of SinB and accidently pushed Jackson.

“Sorry.” excused Yerin friends while Yerin excuse herself to Jackson.

“It’s okay Yerin! Don’t worry about it!” winked Jackson while Yuju was sending them the deadly glare.

“Yerin ar, we will meet here after class ok? I’m so excited to see you!” exclaimed the girl.

Yerin coughed “Oh...hm about tonight, I don’t think I can make it..I have some stuff to do.” apologized Yerin in which the girl frowned.

“Why? I thought you said you would be ok to join us tonight. It’s our friend birthday! Come on!” exclaimed the girl not happy.

SinB felt bad, she knew why Yerin is rejecting it.

“Oh, Yerin ar, I just got a message from my coworker, I will be replacing her after school tonight, so you won’t need to walk me home.” lied SinB looking at her phone.

“Really?” asked Yerin not really trusting SinB.

SinB nodded “We will go in first. See you tomorrow!” but as soon as they turn around they heard the familiar voice that SinB missed so much.

“Maybe, SinB is slowly realizing that she’s a bad influence and is walking away from her.” says Yuju but it hurt SinB to hear that. SinB stop at her track while Sowon turn around walking back to Yuju.

“Come on babe. You will be late for class” whispered Jackson nicely but then was interrupted by Sowon.

“You know, it’s not because you don’t want to hang out with someone that everyone don’t want to. Your opinion is not everything.” stated Sowon outburst while SinB dragged her away but she sees Jackson smiling at her with a smirk.

SinB leg was feeling numb as Sowon catch her right away when they got into the building. “Whats wrong?” asked Sowon.

“Seeing Jackson still make me feel weak…” stuttered SinB in which Sowon nodded and hugged her tight “Come on, let me get you to class.”

While getting there “You will be okay go to work by yourself? I can probably send you there before heading to mine.”

SinB looked at Sowon and nodded “Don’t worry about me. I will be fine.” she faked a smile, she felt bad lying to them.

The day was going slow for SinB, as she keep thinking that she will have to go home by herself. Then she convince herself that she will be taking a taxi home so she will be fine. As she ended class, she was heading out and then she sees Eunha at the bench eating a snack.

SinB smiled and sat beside her “Hey Eunha..”

Eunha looked up and smile “SinB, you done?” in which SinB nodded. “Yeah...you?”

Eunha nodded “Yeah, but I have a team meeting soon.” then SinB frowned, she was hoping she could asked Eunha to walk with her.

“Ah I see, then I will go home first.” says SinB as she stand up to leave but then was stop by Eunha. “How’s Sowon..?”

SinB looked at Eunha “She’s okay.” then Eunha nodded. SinB bite her lips, not knowing if she should says it “She misses you.” which made Eunha looked up with a little glitter in her eyes “Really?!” then SinB nodded. “I miss her...a lot too…” says Eunha in which SinB nodded “Take care.” then she left toward the entrance hoping to get a cab.

But sadly, there were no cab to be seen, she sighed, she started to walk but then her phone rang. “Hello?” asked SinB.

“SinB ar, where are you?” asked Umji.

“Oh, euh, heading to work.” says SinB walking but then she sees a familiar shadow in front of her.

“I didn’t know heading to work is this side.” says Umji frowning.

SinB gulped and looked down “I..was ..my..work..got cancel..so..”

Umji stare at SinB “Let’s go home first.” she stated and held SinB. The whole ride was silent. SinB gulped, she was scare.

As they got out of the bus stop, they walk silently toward their house. When they got in, SinB parent wasn’t home. They went up to the room, they put down their stuff.

Umji sat down on the bed and pat SinB to come sit beside her.

“So, are you going to tell me why did you lie?” says Umji strictly.

SinB looked down “I…”

“Don’t lie to me.”

SinB got teary but this time Umji just looked at SinB.

“I don’t want to be a burden...I don’t want to lose you girls..!” suddenly says SinB raising her voice which shocked Umji.

“What are you talking about?? You are not losing us.”

“Yes I am..I am already losing you...you must be tired of always taking care of me right Umji? That’s why you don’t come spend the night with me anymore.” says SinB.

“What are you talking about SinB? My parents are home, I just wanted to spend some time with them…” explained Umji sincerely.

SinB shakes her head “Usually, you would still asked me to join you or something. This time you just went on your own….”

Umji pat SinB head “Pabo, Sowon is here. That’s why. If not I would have ask you to come with me..” but SinB just shakes her head, not believing her.

“I promise. You are not losing me and I’m not tired of you. I would never be.” says Umji sincerely while looking SinB in the eyes.

SinB nodded and hugged Umji tightly.

“How come you came to get me..” asked SinB.

Umji smiled “Yerin texted me saying you had to work but she end after you so she can’t send you there. My class got cancel, so I wanted to come to surprise you but you surprised me instead.” teased Umji.

SinB look down.

“So, why did you lie to Yerin?” asked Umji.

“I..feel like I’m stealing Yerin away from her friends...I feel like I am burdening her...I hear her friend complaining that she didn’t show up to their event for so long..I feel bad..I don’t want to make her lose her friends because of me…” explained SinB.

Umji nodded, understanding where SinB is coming from now. “I see..but SinB ar, you know lying is not the best option.”

SinB nodded “But, I don’t know what to say. When I tell her it’s okay, I can do something by myself, she wouldn’t let me. She would still decide to stay by my side...So by saying that, she would feel at ease to join her friends…”

“But what if she rather spend time with you?” says Umji which made SinB looked at Umji not knowing what to say. “Why..would she rather spend time with me...the only reason I can come up with is that she’s an angel and she just want to protect me…”

Umji smiled and pat SinB “She could be an angel, but still, it’s not for you to decide whether she rather to spend time with you or with her friends. You can’t just force her. What if she didn’t want to hang out with them and is using you as an excuse? You just pushed her into it.” then SinB eyes widen. “Oh..my…” then Umji giggle “You see? It could be that. So don’t use lies to push her away. If she find out, she will be hurt.”

SinB nodded “I won’t lie again…” then Umji nodded.

“Now, my little baby girl, would you like to take a nap with me since it seems like you really do miss me and is thinking that I abandon my baby girl.” teased Umji while spreading her arm open.

“Yah!” says SinB but still jumped toward Umji embrace and both of them giggle while hugging each other tightly.

How was the beginning with Tom and Jerry? :P Wasn't it cute hahaha! So, SinB decided to lie to Yerin and let her join her friends instead, what do you think of this lies? And Umji caught her red handed. SinB was feeling insecure about Umji, would you guys feel the same? Always being ur friend and then suddenly she decided not to sleep over, would you think the same way as SinB? Some moment of UmB line - wasn't it sweet? SinB telling Umji how she feel and Umji explaining herself.
