On the next day when SinB woke up, she was feeling better, she hoped she would still be sick so she could miss another day but it was clear the fever was gone, Umji really took good care of her. She looked around but Umji was nowhere to be found.

She walked downstairs and heard her best friend talking in the kitchen, when she walked there, she saw her parents with Umji.

“Appa omma?” asked SinB confused to see her parents already back home. “When did you come back?” she asked but her mother immediately walked to her and touched her forehead.

“It seems like your fever disappeared.” said SinB’s mom reassured. “So you can go back to school today and not miss too much days.” she added and SinB sighed.

“I’m tired mom, I think I should rest another day so I can be really better when I go back to school… don’t you think dad?” she added looking at her father who smiled at her before coming for a hug.

“Sadly your mom’s right, SinB, you can’t miss too much classes, it will be hard to catch up after.” explained her dad with a soft tone. “And thanks to Umji you’re not sick anymore so you should go to school today.”

Umji looked at SinB sorry that it turned out like this, she knew SinB wanted to avoid Yuju a little longer but she also knew SinB had to face this and move on. Umji looked at the family and nodded.

“Well thank you for the breakfast, I have to go to school too.” said Umji politely.

SinB’s mother nodded and hugged Umji. “No need to thank us, you’re like our second daughter Umji.” she said and Umji smiled.

“Yeah plus I’m sure you were the one cooking for SinB yesterday so it’s the least we can do to thank you.” smiled SinB’s dad before hugging Umji too and following her to the door. “Be careful on your way out.” he said and Umji nodded before looking at SinB one last time.

“Call me later ok?” said Umji to her best friend whom nodded.

SinB sat at the table and ate while her parents told her about their trip and how they were able to sign an important contract for the company. SinB wasn’t really paying attention to them, she was thinking of her day and how she would have to face Yuju, suddenly the scene of Yuju confessing she was dating Jackson came back to her mind and SinB felt sick again, her tummy was hurting and she felt like vomiting.

She excused herself and left the table to run to the bathroom. She took a big breath and splashed cold water on her face. She was feeling better but she knew she couldn’t face Yuju right now. It was too soon, it hurt too much. As she came out of the washroom, she saw her dad looking at her.

“Baby girl, you okay?” asked her dad worried.

SinB nodded. “Just a bit nauseous. I will go get ready.” she said as she started walking up the stair.

“Maybe it’s better that you stay home today then…” said her dad which made SinB full of hope that she can stay home but was right away vanished as soon as she heard her mom voice.

“She’s just a bit nauseous, she was sick so her energy is just not back yet. She will be fine once she get to school to learn. She’s a big girl now like you always say. Don’t spoil her.” said SinB’s mom strictly which made SinB frown and walk up the stair in silence.

SinB took her time to prepare and went to school at last minute, avoiding going to the cafeteria to meet the girls before classes. Luckily, she had no classes with Yuju today. She arrived just on time to her class and tried to focus on her lesson.

It was now lunch time and SinB sighed as she walked to the library, she had tried to find a perfect excuse all morning to not eat lunch with the girls but couldn’t find anything good so she decided to go study and eat later since her next class was only at 3 pm.

She looked at her phone and saw some messages from Sowon.

“SinB ar, are you at school? Where are you?”

“Are you skipping lunch? What’s your schedule like today?”

“Message me!!!”

SinB giggled at the messages then replied to Sowon. “I’m fine, I just need to cramp some stuff for the next class. I will see you later.”

SinB looked around, it was the perfect time to be at the library, it was totally empty at this time, everybody was out or meeting at the cafeteria to eat.

SinB was so immersed in her book that she didn’t see the tall figure approaching her table…

“SinB?” asked Yuju sitting in front of her. “That’s where you've been all this time?” asked the girl before smiling at SinB. “I was looking for you everywhere.”

SinB swallowed hard, shocked that Yuju found her. Yuju usually wouldn’t go to the library without her by her side, she thought she was at the perfect hideout. “Sorry… I… I’ve been studying and… euh… I lost track of time?” said SinB stuttering.

Yuju smiled even more shaking her head. “You’re so bad at lying SinB.” she just said before sighing.

They stayed silent a moment then Yuju took SinB’s hand in hers. “I miss you…” said Yuju and SinB looked down feeling so sad, she missed Yuju so bad too, even more now knowing that she would never be hers… Since Jackson entered Yuju’s life SinB felt like even all the time spend with Yuju wasn’t anything anymore… Yuju would never belong to her but to Jackson.

Just thinking about that SinB’s heart hurt, she felt like she couldn’t breath… Yuju squeezed her hand and SinB looked up at Yuju’s beautiful eyes.

“Will you stop avoiding me now?” asked Yuju and SinB froze trying to come up with an excuse. “I’m not stupid, I see you’re acting weird since the moment I told you about Jackson and me the other day.” said Yuju looking down. “I’m starting to regret telling you now, you said you wouldn’t leave my side but you clearly are…” said Yuju sadly.

“I’m not!” said SinB not liking to see Yuju sad especially if it was because of her.

“Don’t lie please, don’t make it worst, I hoped you would be different, that you were my real friend, my close friend, the one I could tell everything but I see that it start again…You are just like the others...”

SinB shook her head. “I’m not like those girls that hurt you Yuju, I won’t do that to you ever!” said SinB sincerely. “I’m just trying to adjust myself because I know things will change between us now…”

Yuju frowned. “No, nothing will change SinB you will always be my girl, my best friend!”

SinB blushed, it was crazy the power Yuju had on her, even now. “But you will spend more time with him…” whispered Sinb looking down sadly.

“So what? I will also spend a lot of times with you SinB I promise, and we can hang out all together, he’s a nice guy, he knows I’m close to my friends and he’s very open…I’m sure he wouldn’t mind.” explained Yuju. “Is it too much to ask to be able to date the boy I really like and also keep my best friend that I love more than anything?” asked Yuju with puppy eyes and SinB melted.

It would hurt for sure but at least she would still have Yuju close to her in a way…

“I’m sorry.” said SinB sincerely. “I won’t avoid you anymore, I was just scared you would forget about me now so I rather disappear myself...” explained SinB.

“I won’t forget about you SinB!” exclaimed Yuju laughing. “You’re stuck with me forever!” she added and SinB shyly smiled. “Now put those books away and come eat something with me, I’m starving.” said Yuju standing up.

“You didn’t eat?” asked SinB confused.

“No silly, I was looking for you! I called Umji this morning, not wanting to wake you up if you were still sick but she told me you were back to school today, but then we didn’t see you this morning and I was sad and when I didn’t see you at lunch in the cafeteria too I decided to find you knowing you clearly were avoiding me.” explained Yuju as she took SinB’s hand to guide her out of the library.

Yuju took SinB to the cafeteria and they ate together, it was nice to see that Yuju wasn’t forgetting about her or putting Jackson before her. Yuju had to eat quickly and go back to class while SinB got more time, so she decided to walk Yuju to her classroom then walk slowly to her own and wait there.

As she was sitting on the floor of the corridor waiting for her class, leaning her back against the wall reading, SinB felt someone poking her shoulder. She looked up and saw Yerin looking shyly at her.

“Hey…” said the chemistry girl and SinB stood up quickly.

“Hey Yerin.” answered SinB avoiding looking at her in the eyes.

Yerin was playing with her fingers. “I waited for you the other day at the tutoring center but you never came…” said Yerin sadly.

SinB kept her head down, it was true that Yerin wanted to talk to her but since Yuju wanted to spend time with her SinB decided to not go you work that day and totally forgot about Yerin waiting there.

“Sorry, something else came up that day so I didn’t go to work…” said SinB feeling a little bad as her eyes meet Yerin’s.

Yerin nodded and shyly looked down quickly. “Listen I just wanted to talk to you about the other night at my house…” she started before looking up at SinB. “I’m sorry I shouldn’t have reacted like that.” said Yerin sincerely. “I was bothered by many things and I kinda exploded on you. It wasn’t cool...”

Sinb nodded and smiled a bit. “It’s okay, I was also bothered by other things and reacted badly too…” explained SinB. “I’m sorry.”

Yerin smiled now. “Good, I was scared you were avoiding me and school because of me but then I meet Sowon and she told me you were just sick yesterday, nothing to do with me so I was reassured but I still wanted to apologize you know?” explained Yerin and SinB nodded at her.

Sinb hesitated. “Is Yejun feeling better?” she asked hoping it wouldn't make Yerin sad again or something.

“Yeah he’s better, he stopped being a brat with me, and understand better the situation since I talked a little to him.” said Yerin and SinB nodded glad the two could get along together again. Yerin looked at SinB. “Well I’m glad you feel better, I have to go now.” she said gently putting her hand on SinB’s shoulder and smiling at her before walking away.

SinB watched Yerin walk away and smiled too, then she ran after her and caught her arm. “Kiss Yejun for me please.” said SinB taking her hand away from Yerin’s arm quickly and Yerin nodded with a big smile on her lips.

“Of course, I won’t forget.” said the chemistry girl before continuing to walk. “See you around SinB.”

SinB watched her left for good and smiled. “See you around…” repeated SinB lowly before seeing her teacher arriving followed by other students.

Hello hello! 

Yuju actually found sinb n has a talk with her while sinb was avoiding sinb. What do you think of that? And as some of you expected,  SinB decide to suffer despite being heartbroken if she sees Jackson around Yuju. 

And Yerin n SinB is talking again;)  some sinrin moment for you guys even if it's very short ;)
