As SinB arrived to school this morning, she was very happy, it was the day she had many classes with Yuju so that would mean they would spend almost all the day together. She was walking fast, eager to meet the girls at their usual table but as she passed in front of the library she saw Yerin. She quickly looked at SinB before looking down and went to join her group of friends.

SinB looked at her, she was laughing with the guy that was always with her. Yerin seemed happy. SinB sighed, to be honest she knew the had to give the chemistry girl an explanation but SinB would never be brave enough to do it.

She saw Yerin staring at her but as their eyes meet Yerin looked away quickly. SinB swallowed hard and walked away and joined her friends.

She sat beside Yuju and the girl immediately smiled at her. SinB felt good, seeing that smile was her reason to live. Yuju hugged her and SinB hugged her back. SinB looked at Sowon and Eunha and smiled as she saw the girls were holding hands under the table. More time passed and more close the girls were. SinB wondered if they were conscious that they acted exactly like they were dating or not.

Yuju gave SinB a bottle of water. “Here I got one for you, did you study the lesson for our first class?” asked Yuju to SinB who shook her head, SinB wouldn’t study that much she always remembered the lesson easily, and would study only before the exams. Yuju pouted. “Because I re-read but I don’t get anything… more time pass and more I feel so lost…” confessed Yuju and SinB patted her back.

“I will help you, it’s not really that hard you will see.” offered SinB smiling and Yuju nodded happily.

“We should go to the library after school.” suggested Yuju but SinB frowned.

“I can’t tonight I have to go to work.” explained SinB and Yuju looked at her seriously.

Yuju looked at SinB right in the eyes. “Will you see Yerin?” she asked and before she got time to answer Yuju continued. “I can come with you and make sure she won’t bother you again.” she said and Sowon looked at them.

“Everything’s okay?” asked the tall girl and SinB nodded to her.

“It’s okay, no need to come with me, I will be fine.” she explained but Yuju didn’t really seem relieved. Sowon eyed SinB but she nodded again to Sowon making sure the tall girl would let it go for now.

They finished their morning snacks and went to class. Yuju took SinB’s hand in hers as they walked together. SinB looked at their joined hands and smiled. She would never be tired of this. Yuju let go of her hand when her phone rang.

SinB looked at her and Yuju smiled. “I have to take this call, it won’t be long, keep a seat for me beside you.” she said to SinB before walking away.

SinB sighed and continued, she entered the classroom and took a seat, not in the front, but not in the back either. They were early, not all the students were here, people arrived by little group filling the classroom a little more at each minute.

SinB looked at her phone, the teacher would arrive soon and Yuju wasn’t here. She texted her friend telling her to hurry up but just as she send the message Yuju entered. SinB waved at her and Yuju came sit beside her. Just as she put her bag on the table the teacher entered too.

“Just in time.” smiled Yuju.

SinB sighed in relief. “I really thought you wouldn’t make it on time. And you know how this teacher is, he hate people that are late and never accept them in his class.” warned SinB.

Yuju rolled her eyes. “This old pig is annoying.” she said and SinB shook her head.

“Well this old pig decide if you pass or not.” answered SinB. “So you should pay attention to his class.” she added and Yuju pouted. “Now try at least to take some notes.” said SinB seriously and Yuju nodded taking her notebook and a pen.

For once Yuju was paying attention to the teacher’s lesson. SinB stared at her friend. Yuju was so focus, it was rare to see her like that. was half open and she had this cute wrinkle between her eyebrow. SinB just wanted to kiss her.

Yuju turned her head and their eyes met, SinB blushed and Yuju looked at her with a questioning look. “I have something on my face?” she asked in a whisper and SinB smiled while shaking her head. “Then what is it?” asked Yuju worried. “I feel like you’re staring at me…”

SinB shook her head. “It’s nothing.” she whispered back with a smile. “You’re just so cute when you’re concentrate.” said SinB before blushing.

Yuju just rolled her eyes then she smirked. “Are you saying I’m not cute all the time?” she asked and SinB blushed again.

“That’s not what I’m saying…” said SinB confused.

Yuju giggled. “Relax, I’m just teasing you.” she whispered before caressing SinB’s arm. “Now stop staring at my cute concentrate face and listen to the teacher.”

Hearing this made SinB wonder if they were in a parallel universe where she changed roles with Yuju. Because SinB was always the one saying Yuju to focus on class.

At the end of the day Yuju asked again if SinB wanted her to accompany her to work but SinB declined again reassuring Yuju by saying that she would keep ignoring Yerin if she wanted to talk to her. Yuju hesitated but finally let SinB go.

SinB arrived at her work and was surprised to see that Yejun wasn't here yet. The boy was usually the first one waiting for her in front of the building. SinB looked around but no sign of Yerin or the boy. She waited a little then entered. She let the kids enter the classroom and closed the door. Yejun still wasn’t here.

SinB was about to start when the door opened revealing a little boy. “Sorry SinB teacher…” said Yejun and SinB let him go to his desk then she started the lesson.

At the end of the class all the kids joined their parents except Yejun. Once everybody was gone, SinB saw that the boy walked to her, she smiled at him but he seemed sad. “Noona?” he asked SinB who kneeled in front of him.

“What is it?” asked back SinB waiting for the boy to talk, it seemed like he wanted to say something important.

“Why Yerin noona said we won’t eat ice cream with you anymore?” he asked very confused.

SinB swallowed hard. “It’s complicated.” just said SinB, not really knowing what to say to the boy. “Will Yerin pick you up soon?” asked SinB worried to meet the girl but the little boy shook his head.

“It’s omma that pick me up now.” said the boy smiling clearly happy to talk about his mother.

SinB wondered if it was because of her that Yerin wasn’t picking him up and she felt guilty. A woman knocked on the door and the boy ran to her. SinB bowed at the woman.

“You must be Yejun’s mother. I am SinB, his teacher.” said SinB politely.

The woman gave SinB a smile and nodded. “Yes, I have heard a lot about you from our little Yejun. Thank you very much for taking care of him.” said Yejun’s mother nicely.

“Oh, no no, Yejun is a smart and good kid. He always behaves well in class.” explained SinB with a smile.

Yejun’s mom smiled at SinB then looked at her watch. “Ah, sorry we are running late...” then she turned to Yejun. “Come on Yejun, I need to get you home then rush back to the office!!”

“But omma… it’s been soooooo lonnnggggg since you came to pick me up. Do you really need to go now?” pouted Yejun sadly.

“Come on Yejun, you know omma is really busy… If it wasn’t your cousin saying that she will take care of you by sending you here and picking you up, I wouldn’t even be able to enroll you here since there’s no school bus.” reminded the woman to the little boy as she grabbed him into her arm.

“But, where’s noona? She was just sitting at home no?” asked Yejun pouting even more.

Hearing what Yejun said make SinB felt guilty. SinB was pretty sure the reason Yerin didn’t come was because of her. But then she got a confirmation from what Yejun’s mom just answered.

“Yeah, somehow she said she can’t make it today and possibly the next few weeks saying she has something else to do. Molla, we will see how it goes, if not we might need to cancel your tutoring class.” explained the woman but then Yejun jumped down from his mother embrace and started to stomp on his feet.

“Noo umma!! I like to study here! I like SinB teacher!” whined the little kid with tears in her eyes.

His mom sighed. “Come on Yejun, we will talk about this later… We really need to go or I will be late… ” she said but Yejun was getting more teary and didn’t want to move.

SinB felt more and more guilty she felt like the family had to adapt because of her decision to stop seeing Yerin. She approached Yejun and patted his head. “Come on Yejun, your omma came to pick you up. Go home with her first and see what will happen later ok?” said SinB with a little smile but Yejun pouted. “Is Yejun a good boy?” she added and Yejun nodded his head. “Right, so now Yejun will go home with his mommy and be a good boy until next time I see him ok?” Said SinB then she planted a little kiss on Yejun head which made Yejun blush and quickly ran to her mom.

“Let’s go umma!!” exclaimed the boy. His mom smiled and thanked SinB before leaving. SinB watched them then she took her bag and left too.

She walked home slowly she was so lost in her thought that she almost crossed the street when the cars were passing. As she arrived home, her parents were not there yet, she let her shoes in the entrance and walked to her room. She put her bag on the floor and laid in bed looking a the ceiling.

She heard some minutes later that her parent arrived home but she didn’t want to move, she turned around in her bed and saw the little duck on her nightstand and sighed. She took the toy and looked at it, she thought about all the nice moment she had with Yerin.

Her phone vibrated, she looked at the screen and saw a message from Yuju. SinB looked back at the toy and put it in the drawer so she wouldn’t see it anymore and took the phone.

“Did Yerin cornered you?”  read SinB and she smiled. Yuju was so protective.

“No she wasn’t there and probably won’t be for some times.” she answered.

They kept texting each other till SinB heard someone knock on her door. She looked up and saw her mother standing at the door frame.

“Dinner’s ready.” said her mom smiling. “And don’t let your shoes in the middle of the entrance, your dad tripped on it again.” she added and SinB giggled.

“I’m coming.” she said and her mother left her room. SinB changed into more comfortable clothes and went down to eat with her parents.
