As SinB woke up the next day she rolled over and felt Umji beside her she smiled and hugged her tight. She thought about what happened yesterday and felt so bad. She slowly caressed Umji’s face and sighed, she was being too much. Once the girls left the house, SinB sat on the stairs for hours, rewinding what just happen. She didn’t realize what she has done until Sowon knocked some sense into her.

She was waiting for Umji to text her, call her or come back to her. She kept staring at the door hoping Umji would come in but to her surprise, it didn’t happen. She hated herself, for Umji not to come back, she must have hurt her so much and she understood that she was the one that was wrong. Umji was always by her side and she just took her for granted.

Umji woke up feeling SinB’s touch and stretched her arms as SinB was still circling her with her arms.

“Slept well?” asked Umji and SinB nodded.

“I was thinking a lot last night…” said SinB and Umji stood up to listen to SinB seriously.

“What did you think about?” she asked slowly, not wanting to rush SinB as she sat up too.

“I will go to the dance school and talk to Jiyoon…” said SinB looking down. “Maybe not telling her everything… but telling her Jackson was bad with me and that I can’t do the showcase…” said SinB and Umji nodded not saying anything and leaving SinB to express herself.

Umji was happy that SinB came to that conclusion.

“How did you tell Jiyoon unnie though…? and how did she take it? ” asked SinB fearing for Umji’s answer.

Umji smiled. “I didn’t talk to her yet. I hope you are not upset at me for that...I wasn’t sure if that was really what you wanted...” answered Umji.

SinB smiled and hugged Umji. “You always know me best!” she said clearly relieved which made Umji smile a bit.

“Maybe we could ask Sowon to come with us?” continued SinB hesitating. “Do you think she’s mad at me...?”

Umji shook her head. “I don’t think she is… she was just worried and she… she was probably a little disappointed…”

“I know… I’m sorry, I was just feeling so mad and angry… I can’t let anyone hurt me again… I just want to disappear...  but... I can’t lose you…” confessed SinB looking down again.

Umji bit her lips. “You won’t lose me.” answered Umji sincerely. “We will ask Sowon if she want to come with us at the dance school today.”

SinB nodded and smiled a bit. “Hungry?” asked SinB knowing neither of them ate anything the night before and Umji nodded.

They got up and went to prepare some food, Umji was glad SinB’s appetite came back even if she didn’t eat much at least if was the first time since the incident that she ate that much.

As they were done, SinB quickly got up and was cleaning the table which surprised Umji.

SinB smiled shyly. “I’ll take care of the dishes today… why don’t you go rest a bit? You cooked breakfast.”

Umji smiled, understanding that it’s a way that SinB is apologizing for yesterday, she nodded and went to rest at the couch and texted Sowon.

“Hey, SinB want to know if you want to come to the dance school with us.” typed Umji slowly.

After a bit, she got a reply.

“Sure, Eunha will come with us, I will meet you guys at the gate.”

“Alright!” answered back Umji glad Sowon agreed so fast.

Umji smiled as she suddenly feel a hug from behind.

“I’m done washing the dishes!” said SinB.

Umji smiled and nodded. “Alright, let’s go change and go see your dance teacher.”

They both went up to get changed and headed toward the bus station. As they were waiting, Umji noticed that SinB was in deep thoughts.

“What’s wrong buddy?” asked Umji worried that SinB would change her mind or panic again.

“Oh… I’m just… still not sure how to tell Jiyoon unnie…” answered SinB calmly.

Umji nodded. “It’s okay, it will come naturally, just tell her what you want her to know. Don’t force yourself, if you can’t we'll help you.” said Umji in a reassuring tone.

“We?” asked SinB confused

Umji nodded. “Sowon and Eunha will come too.” she informed her best friend.

SinB eyes brightening. “They are coming too? Does that mean Sowon isn’t mad at me anymore?” she asked full of hope.

Umji giggle. “Like I said, I don’t think she’s mad at you maybe just a bit disappointed but you should apologize too and talk to her ok?”

SinB nodded and they got into the bus heading toward the school.

As they got there, they saw Sowon and Eunha sitting at the bench eating an ice cream. When SinB saw that Sowon looked at her, she kinda slowed down behind Umji.

Umji turned around and shook her head. “Come on, it’s Sowon.” she whispered to SinB then she slightly pulled her best friend in front of her.

“Hi…” said SinB shyly looking down.

Sowon looked at SinB and nodded. “Hi…” answered the tall girl as they were both feeling awkward.

“Hi SinB!” said Eunha happily, Sowon must have not told her what happened.

Umji went toward Eunha. “Where’s my ice cream?” she asked smiling.

Eunha giggled. “We didn’t know how long it will take you guys, we can go get some more?”

Umji nodded. “I’ll go with you.” she said then she looked at Sowon and SinB. “You two wait for us here.” she added then they left before any of them could protest.

SinB went to sit beside Sowon, both being silent.

Then at the same time they both apologized. “I’m sorry.” which made both of them look at each other and laugh.

“I’m sorry for yelling at you yesterday SinB.” apologized Sowon sincerely.

SinB nodded. “No no, I’m sorry for… what I said yesterday, it was rude..”

Sowon shook her head. “It’s Umji that you should apologize not me.” said Sowon worried for the girls friendship.

SinB shook her head too. “No, I was being rude in front of you too.”

Then it was silent again.

Sowon laughed. “Okay this is just weird for us to be apologizing to each other like that.” she said as she ruffled SinB’s hair.

“Yah!!! I need to go see Jiyoon unnie after! Don’t mess my hair you giraffe!” yelled SinB trying to put her hair back correctly.

Sowon rolled her eyes. “Ok ok, I’m sorry.” she said then she smirked and as SinB wasn’t paying attention anymore she ruffled SinB’s hair even more making SinB stood up to attack Sowon but the tall girl  already stood up and ran away.

“YOU STUPID GIRAFFE!!” screamed SinB as she tried to ruffle Sowon’s hair too but Sowon held both of her arm not letting her then Umji and Eunha arrived seeing the scene and shook their heads.

“Alright, kids. Here’s your ice cream.” said Umji as she gave an ice cream to SinB.

They both laughed and finished their ice cream before heading into the school.

Hello! How did you guys find this chapter? A bit of maknae lie time and Tom and Jerry made up hahaha in their own way :P did it make you guys laugh?
