After a moment, the girls realised it was almost time to stop, they cleaned the room, SinB turned off the music and they went to Jiyoon classroom to say they would leave. As they reached Jiyoon’s classroom, they saw Yuju and Eunha in their singing classroom, still training with that guy. SinB frowned as she put his arm around Yuju’s waist while singing love lyrics with the two girls.

SinB heard Sowon sigh and turned to the tall girl. But before she could talk, Sowon turned around and walked toward Jiyoon’s classroom. SinB looked quickly at Umji that followed Sowon. The kids were taking their bags and saying goodbye to Jiyoon, they also said goodbye to the girls as they all left the room quickly.

Jiyoon looked at the three girls. “So everything went well with Yerin?” asked Jiyoon as she cleaned a little, some kids forgot their water bottle and one also let his towel in a corner.

“Yeah.” smiled Umji. “But she said she would surprise us with the design of the outfit.” she explained and Jiyoon nodded with a smile.

“Well you have nothing to worry about, I’m sure she will do something really great for you girls, Yerin is very talented and creative.” said the teacher. “Well I have to go tell Gayoon to let the singers go home too, we have a family dinner tonight.” said Jiyoon with a sigh.

“Oh.” said Sowon. “Was that dinner the reason you two had a fight earlier?” she asked and Umji smacked her arm. Sowon looked at her shocked but then realised SinB was frowning at her too. “What?!” asked Sowon to the the two girls.

SinB rolled her eyes. “It’s a personal question you stupid giraffe!” mumbled SinB as she looked at Jiyoon who just smiled at them.

“Don’t worry girls.” she said reassuring them. “Sowon’s right I hate family dinners especially when our parents invite some members in our families that can’t accept Gayoon and I got  married…” explained Jiyoon sincerely.

SinB looked down. “You’re family don’t accept you get married with Gayoon unnie?” asked SinB shyly.

Jiyoon giggled. “Close family is happy for us but we still have some relative that don’t like that... but we’re not close to them and just have to see them at those stupid dinners.” said Jiyoon with a big smile. “And Gayoon like family dinners a lot, it’s a nice moment for her because her family don’t live that close so she can only see them a few times in the years and this big family dinner is a good opportunity for her to spend time with her parents.”

Umji nodded. “Ohh so you’re going just to please Gayoon unnie?” asked Umji seeing Jiyoon would do anything for Gayoon.

Jiyoon patted Umji’s head. “Kind of… it’s important for her and if I have to kick some of my distant cousins for her I will do it.” explained Jiyoon making the three girls laugh.

“This is so romantic.” smiled SinB and she started thinking about her own family, would her parents accept it if she dated a girl? Wondered SinB but then shook her head, her mom would kill her for sure…

“Okay girls let’s go, you deserve to rest after this long training.” said Jiyoon walking to the door, she let the girls walk out and they all walked to the singing classroom across the corridor.

Gayoon immediately looked up as she heard Jiyoon calling her name. “Time to stop.” smiled Jiyoon and Gayoon nodded at her with a smile.

“Okay kids, let’s call it a night.” said Gayoon. “Don’t forget all the advices I gave you and be on time tomorrow we have to prepare the arrangement for other songs.” she said and the kids nodded. SinB saw Yuju talking with Eunha and the guy, they were laughing as he put his bag on his shoulder, Yuju had a light blush on her cheek and SinB got this weird feeling in her tummy. She felt sick, her heart was beating fast, she felt like she was scared suddenly.

“You okay?” asked Umji seeing the look on her best friend face.

SinB swallowed hard and nodded.

“You sure?” insisted Umji and SinB nodded again. Yuju spotted them and took Eunha’s hand in hers as she walked quickly to SinB to give her a quick hug again.

“SinB!! You are here!!” said Yuju happily. SinB felt so much better as she felt Yuju’s body hugging hers. They walked out of the school together and stopped in the street just in front of the school entrance.

Eunha smiled at Sowon who frowned as she saw that the guy followed them and was now standing some meters away not leaving but just looking at them.

“Giraffe, why you look so unhappy. Did you get scold by SinB again?” teased Eunha as she laced their hands together but got no reaction. “Or..were you dancing like a penguin again?!” which Eunha giggled at her own joke but didn’t get any reaction from Sowon again.

Umji could see how tense the atmosphere was right now and she sighed. “How about we hang out a little tonight?” she asked. “It’s been a while we didn’t spend the night together. Let’s grab something to eat and go play somewhere?” she said and Sowon smiled, happy about the suggestion, so she could get to spend some time with her bunny.

“Good idea!” said the tall girl. “I miss going to the karaoke!” she exclaimed but Eunha looked down, letting go of their intertwined hands and Yuju shook her head.

“You girls go without us, we already have plans.” Yuju said smiling as she turned to look at the boy standing a little away from them. “Gayoon said we could have more chemistry during the showcase if we spend more time together.” explained Yuju excited. “And be fully comfortable with each other to sing our love song.”

“I think he’s very comfortable around you already…” mumbled SinB to herself and Yuju arched an eyebrow at her.

“Don’t mumble to yourself SinB, you know we can’t understand a single word when you do that.” said Yuju patting SinB’s head. “Don’t be mad, let’s do a karaoke after the showcase.” said Yuju before looking at Eunha but the short girl was frowning so Yuju sighed. “You can go with the girls if you want.” said Yuju but Eunha looked up confused.

“But I thought we had to spend time with him all together no?” said Eunha looking quickly at Sowon before looking back at Yuju who nodded.

“I don’t want you to feel forced or something…” Said Yuju sincerely with concern.

Eunha looked at Sowon again but the tall girl looked away. “I’m coming with you Yuju, it’s for the showcase…” said Eunha and Yuju nodded with a smile.

As Yuju turned around to join the guy again, SinB held Yuju’s hand, stopping her. “Can’t we all hang out together? It’s been a while…” she frowned but Yuju looked at SinB and shook her head.

“Mianhe SinB ar, but we really need to get to know him better, Gayoon said it would show in our performance how comfortable we are around each other and I want to give the best of me for this showcase…Be a good girl okay? I will see you tomorrow.” said Yuju as she hugged SinB quickly and walked toward the guy again. SinB looked at Yuju and wanted to run after her and punch that guy, she couldn’t believe Yuju wanted to spend time with him and not with her… Couldn’t they all hang out? At least SinB would spend some time with Yuju, she missed the girl so much, and seeing her around that boy was hurting so much...

Eunha hesitated to follow Yuju, she took Sowon’s hand in hers and squeezed it gently. “Want to meet after?” she asked shyly. “I can call you when I’m home so you can pass by…?” she asked with a cute low voice but Sowon shook her head.

“No I have plans too.” she said coldly taking her hand away and turning to Umji and SinB. “Let’s go.” she said before walking away followed by Umji and SinB.

“What was that?” asked Umji as they were far away from the singers now. “You two look so mad right now.” said Umji stopping her walk. “Don’t be like that, being jealous won’t fix anything.” she said and SinB frowned.

“You can’t understand Umji, you’re not in love!” said SinB a little angry. “Stop acting like you know everything!”

Umji frowned too. “Look.” said Umji as she looked at SinB in the eyes. “I’m not the one stealing away your precious Yuju okay?! So calm down a little. I’m your best friend, I just want to help you, and getting mad at me is not the best way to deal with this.” answered Umji looking up at Sowon hoping the tall girl would help her reassure SinB and calm her but Sowon stayed silent.

“You don’t understand Umji.” said SinB with a sigh.

Umji crossed her arms on her chest. “Yeah I don’t understand why you get mad at me right now. You’re always moody or sad when something’s wrong with Yuju.” said Umji very seriously. “You keep complaining all the time, you should really think about telling her how you feel, don’t you think?” asked Umji with hesitation.

SinB shook her head and sighed sadly. “You will never know how is it to love another girl Umji, it’s not that simple...”

“Nothing is simple SinB...” answered Umji frowning. “I know the chance of another girl loving you back is way thinner than with a boy but you will regret it if you wait forever and don’t tell her about your feelings.”

Sowon was looking at Umji before looking down, SinB swallowed hard. She was thinking about what Umji told her but also about Yuju being with the guy right now, probably having fun and she sighed again.

Seeing no reaction from the two girls Umji shook her head. “I’m not in the mood to hear you two complain again about Yuju and Eunha tonight. “ said Umji turning around. “I’m going home.” she said walking away.
