As the night approached, Umji picked up SinB and they met up with Sowon on their way to Yerin’s house.

“So you know where she lives?” asked Sowon looking around not really knowing this side of the city as they followed SinB.

SinB nodded. “Yeah… I walked her and Yejun home before.” she answered monotony.

“SinB ar, what’s wrong? Why you sound and look so down?” asked Sowon worried.

SinB shook her head. “Nothing. Just tired.” she quickly said hoping it would stop her friends to worry about her.

Sowon looked at Umji and both of them shrugged. As they reached the house, SinB rang the door. And within a minute, she was greeted with heavy fast footstep.

The door was open slowly revealing Yerin but as soon as the door was fully open, SinB saw Yejun running and jumping on her. She caught him right away and almost drop her bag on the floor.

“Yah!! Yejun!! Stop this!! You almost made SinB fall down!!” scolded Yerin making Yejun pout.

“Mianhe SinB noona…” he pouted in which SinB smiled at his cuteness.

“Don’t worry Yejun ar.” she said as she patted his head then Yerin made then enter, SinB walked in followed by the girls while holding the kid.

“Wow, you have a nice house.” said Sowon as she started to look around.

“Thank you.” Yerin answered. “Please leave your shoes in the entrance and follow me.” she smiled as she took Yejun off SinB’s arms so the girl could take off her shoes too.

As they walked in they looked around. “Where’s the director?” asked Umji politely.

“Appa is on his way home!” exclaimed Yejun.

“Yejun ar, you won’t say hi to me?” asked Sowon nicely as she bends down. Yejun hide behind Yerin.

“Hi...Sowon..noona…” he said in a very timid voice which made Sowon smile happily.

“You won’t come give me a hug?” asked Sowon as she spread her hands open. Yejun popped his head out and slowly walked toward Sowon and gave her a hug. Sowon lifted him up and hugged him. “You are so adorable!! No wonder SinB like you so much!” she said to him as she caressed one of his cute round cheeks.

Then Yejun looked at Umji with an arched eyebrow. “Who are you?” he asked with a cute confused voice.

Umji smiled at Yejun. “Hello you must be the famous little Yejun, my name is Umji. You can call me Umji noona.” she smiled at him and Yejun tilted his head and stared at Umji without answering.

“Yejun, call Umji noona. It’s not polite for you to stare at her and it’s your first time meeting her. Where is your manner?” scolded Yerin again.

Yejun obeyed his cousin, he got down from Sowon’s arms and looked at Umji before bowing slowly. “Good evening Hmmmji noona... ” he said with difficulty and made SinB giggle.

“Oh, it looks like Yejun prefer me and Sowon over you Umji!” laughed SinB and Umji pouted.

Yejun quickly ran inside. And Yerin rolled her eyes at him. “Yejun! since you have so much energy left can you go to my room and bring noona’s phone please? I left it on the bed.” she asked and the boy nodded with a smile. “Your mommy said she would let us know if she can make it tonight or not.” she explained and he nodded even more at the mention of his mother before he ran quickly upstairs and disappeared.

Yerin lead the girls to the living room and have them sit down.

“So you live here too?” asked Sowon, “It’s a pretty big house.” she added looking around again, way much bigger than her house but way smaller than Umji’s.

Yerin smiled bitterly. “Ah… yeah I live here with my uncle and my aunt.” she explained with a quite sad expression on her face

“And with me!” added Yejun jumping on Yerin’s laps and handing her her phone. The sad expression of Yerin’s face vanished away as Yejun smiled at her.

Yerin wanted to change subject so she turned to look at SinB. “You are so quiet today. Everything okay?” she asked her a little worried that SinB would feel uncomfortable to be here with her since they decided to not talk to each other anymore.

SinB looked at Yerin and smiled. “Really? I’m just tired. Where’s Yejun’s mother?” asked SinB trying to cheer up and change the topic. Yerin just looked at her phone, not wanting to ask further. She understood SinB wanted to change topic too.

“She won’t be able to make it tonight. She’s very busy with the company and stuff.” she said after reading a message from her aunt. “She says she’s very sorry and was so eager to meet you girls especially after seeing you on stage last weekend.” said Yerin with a smile.

Then they hear the door open and Yejun immediately stood up before running toward the door. “Apppppaaa!!” he shooted happily.

After that they heard the director giggle. “Hello ar our Yejunnie! Is our guest here?” he asked his son with a nice voice.

“Yeah!! There’s SinB noona, Sowon noona and hmm.. Ji noona?” he said still unable to pronounce Umji’s name correctly.

SinB and Sowon laughed out loud. Umji glared at them. “Hmmm JI noona!” teased Sowon and they laughed even more.

“Oh you mean UMji noona ar Yejun.” corrected the director in which Yejun was confused as they walk in.

“Hello girls, I’m glad you could make it tonight.” said the director politely.

The girls all bowed down. “Thank you for having us over!”

The director asked the girls to go sit at the kitchen desk to eat. SinB went to the director and handed him a bag. “Here, this is for you Mr.Director.” she said a little shy, he seemed to be a nice man but she didn’t know him very well so she was still feeling shy around him.

The director took the gift, it was a bottle of red wine. “Oh my, thank you! This is a really nice wine!!” he said inspecting the name on the bottle. “Oh I’m just remembering, my wife called just before I arrive home, she won’t be able to make it tonight. But she did leave a message to you girls to have supper here again in the near future because she really want to meet you all.” he said smiling.

Umji nodded politely. “Yeah, Yerin mentioned it to us.  And, it would be our pleasure if you don’t mind us being noisy here.” she said and the director laughed.

“Haha, the more the merrier!! But, wow, you girls have good taste. This is a great brand!!” he said still looking at the bottle. “It’s very nice of you, you really didn’t have to bring anything, but it’s really nice.”

SinB smiled. “Umji’s family often drink this wine so we figured it’s good.” she explained and the director nodded.

“We should open this tonight then.” he said putting it on the table.

Yerin sighed and stared at him. “Uncle, you should be careful of your health. Remember the doctor say-” she started but was cut by the director.

“It’s okay ar Yerin. Just one glass! It won’t hurt! Plus we have guests over!” he smiled widely to Yerin.

Yerin sighed again and rolled her eyes. “Alright alright, one glass!” she said and he nodded. Then the director smiled happily and winked at the girls. They smiled back even if they were feeling a bit awkward.

As they all sat at the table waiting for the food, they were all drinking the wine and chit chatting.

“So I heard you girls are in the same school as my niece.” he started taking a sip of his wine glass.

Sowon nodded. “Yeah, except Umji. She’s in a private school.” explained the tall girl politely.

The director nodded. “Ah, how did you girls meet our Yerin?” he asked curious, knowing his niece was very friendly and sociable.

“Ah, actually we met her through SinB.” then Sowon looked at SinB to continue and explain but she was daydreaming, so Sowon stepped on SinB who looked at her shocked.  

“What?!” SinB mouthed Sowon.

“The director is asking how did we meet Yerin.” said Sowon and SinB looked at Yerin before looking at the director.

“Oh...” hesitated SinB. “Hm… I met Yerin first...and…”

“I accidently bumped into SinB at school and we started to hang out.” answered Yerin briefly to help SinB.

“Oh I see. So tell me about your dancing childhood.” he asked now.

SinB looked at the director “How… how do you know?” asked SinB shocked once again.

The director laughed. “Well, I know you are from my school already! Plus, seeing how you move on stage, I am pretty sure you were trained since a young age.” he explained then he looked at Sowon and Umji. “You two too, you both know how to dance. It’s natural in you.”

SinB nodded. “I learned dancing from my dad when I was small.” she explained shyly.

“Well, let me tell you. You were really good up there. If you are searching for a job during summer or after school, feel free to let me know. I would be happy to hire you as one of our dance teacher!” exclaimed the director and SinB blushed from the sudden praise.

Yejun got out of his chair. “Yeah! SinB noona was soooo amazing!! she was like this and that!” he exclaimed as he tried to dance and pop his body which earned lots of laughter from the girls. Yejun was so adorable.

“Yejun ar, come on, finish your supper before jumping around. It’s not good to move so much when you are eating. It’s not good for your digestion.” said Yerin nicely as she put more food into his plate.

Yejun sat down calmly and nudged Yerin. “Noona!! You should come back to dance school with me! I want to dance with you!!” he said all excited.

Yerin faked a smile and shook her head. “Yejun ar, we talked about this. Noona doesn’t want to go back to the dancing school ok? I don’t have time. But noona will send you to school and pick you up.” she explained gently to her little cousin.

Yejun pouted and crossed his little arms on his chest with a cute frown on his face. “But noona!! I really want to dance with you!!” he insisted.

Yerin sighed as she looked at her uncle stopping him for interrupting before looking back at Yejun. “Yejun. Stop. We have guests over. We will talk about this later.” said Yerin more serious now.

Yejun was teary. “Noona is so mean!!!” he exclaimed then he jumped off the chair and went to the living room.

Yerin sighed. “Sorry, don’t mind him. Let’s continue to eat.” she said looking sadly down, it was clear Yerin didn’t like to see Yejun mad or sad.

“Yeah girls, don’t worry. Yejun will be back very soon. Sorry for my boy behaviour.” the director said as he instructed the girl to keep eating. “He’s been very serious about the dance school since the showcase.” he explained. “Because of you girls he finally start to consider taking dancing class.” added the director as they continued to eat.

“Why he didn’t like dance before?” asked Umji curious.

The director shook his head. “He liked it but kids at school keep telling him dance was for the girls only.” he said. “Yerin and I tried to convince him it was not true but he understood only when he saw your dance the other day.” he explained looking at SinB and smiling.

Yerin nodded. “You’re strong and powerful dance moves made him realise dance wasn’t only ballet even if the dance school also teach ballet dance you know… he saw how dancing could also be badass I think.” added Yerin glaring quickly in the living room direction and sighing sadly.

SinB smiled a bit at Yerin and looked over her shoulder in the living room direction too, she felt sad knowing Yejun was pouting over there all alone. “Can I go check on him?” she asked and the director smiled while nodding.

“Yes of course.” he said nicely. “Try to convince him to come finish his plate so he can have some dessert.”

SinB excused herself and walked to the living room, she saw Yejun’s face down on the sofa. She slowly sat beside him and poked him. Yejun looked up and saw SinB so he quickly turned around and hugged SinB.

“SinB noona…” he said sobbing.

SinB patted his back. “Shh, it’s okay Yejun ar. SinB noona is here. Shhh” she said lowly comforting the little boy.

After a bit of crying, SinB made him sit down correctly.

“Yerin noona is being mean to Yejunnie. She’s being neglecting Yejunnie and she doesn’t like me anymore.” pouted Yejun.

“Why is Yejunnie so pouty and talk like this about Yerin noona?” asked SinB remembering Yejun cut Yerin off and stuck his tongue toward Yerin at the shopping mall. It was really not like him to act like that, him and Yerin were really close and complice before.

Yejun looked down. “Yerin noona doesn’t want to dance with Yejunnie. She doesn’t like Yejunnie anymore. Yerin noona promised that she will always do everything with me. But this time she only says no. And she got mad at Yejunnie. But Yejunnie really really REALLLLY want to dance with noona…” explained the boy sadly.

SinB slowly patted his head gently again. “Why? Why does Yejunnie want to dance with Yerin noona so much?”

Yejun jumped up the sofa and approached to the fireplace and get a picture frame that was on top and showed it to SinB. “Noona used to dance too. She won some trophies. Yejunnie really want to see it and want to perform with noona.” he said frowning.

SinB looked at the picture and smiled. Yerin looked so young here, maybe 8 or 10 years old but she has the exact same cute face as now with her eye smile. And she won number one in that competition since she was holding a big gold trophy. She was standing in between a couple which SinB assume was her parents. They all looked very happy.

Then Sowon and Umji came out and saw the picture. “Isn’t that Yerin?” asked Umji easily recognizing the girl. “She was so cute there.” said Umji then they looked at each other. “She has a beautiful parents.” added Umji in which SinB nodded.

Sowon knelt down to Yejun. “Yejun ar, do you want to go back to the table?” she asked but the little boy stayed silent.

“Aren’t you hungry?” asked Umji but Yejun shook his head so Sowon sat beside SinB the time Umji try to convince him. “You okay?” Sowon asked to SinB who nodded and whispered lowly.

“Yeah…”

Umji knelt to Yejun. “Can I hug you?” she asked cutely. Yejun looked at Umji and slowly nodded.

“Yeah..hmmm Ji noona..” he said opening his arms to hug Umji. Hearing him messing up while saying Umji’s name made SinB and Sowon giggle again.

Umji shook her head and smiled at the boy. “It’s not MM ji. It’s UMMM ji , like your thumb!” she explained laughing like it was a game, showing her thumbs to Yejun who did the same before focusing on Umji.

“Humm Ji…?” tried again the kid and they laughed again.

Umji rolled her eyes and stared at him, showing her thumbs again. “UMMMMJI” she repeated slowly but then Yejun pouted.

“Humm Ji” he said again with an innocent smile.

Umji was dumbfounded, for the first time someone wasn’t able to call her name. She decided to give up for now. Then they all walked back to the table.

They saw Yerin looking at Yejun as he sat down next to her. “Yejun ar...” she said as she tried to get his attention but Yejun looked away and just eat his food. Yerin just sighed and continued to eat.

After the supper, the girls were playing with Yejun while Yerin was sitting on the couch looking at them. The director had to take a call so he walked away.

As they were playing, SinB looked at Yerin, it was the first time she saw Yerin looking so not herself. Yerin suddenly stood up and walked toward the balcony. SinB decided to walk toward her.

“Hey, you okay?” asked SinB in which Yerin nodded.

“Liar...” whispered SinB low enough but Yerin still hear it.

“What?” asked Yerin tilting her head to SinB.

“You are not okay. I can see it in your face.” said SinB sincerely worried about the girl.

“Pft. You too.” answered Yerin back. “You look so dead inside right now.”

“What?” asked SinB this time.

“You are not okay neither.” developed Yerin then both of them sighed.

“So...why did you stop dancing?” asked SinB trying to start a conversation but Yerin just looked up to the sky.

“Just don’t feel like it.” said Yerin, SinB raised her eyebrow so Yerin stared at her. “What?” she asked SinB.

“You are obviously lying. If you just don’t feel like it, you would have still done it for Yejun’s sake.” answered SinB knowing there was another reason. Yerin loved that kid so much she would do anything for him.

Yerin raised her eyebrow this time. “Why you act like you know me so well? Even if it’s the case, why should I tell you?” asked Yerin coldly.

SinB looked at her, surprised at how Yerin was acting toward her. “Because I am worried about you. I never saw you and Yejun like this before and clearly Yejun is hurt and you are too.” explained SinB sincerely.

Yerin looked at SinB. “Look, we are not friend anymore. There’s no need for you to care about me or my family you know? You are the one who doesn’t want me in your life, so don’t step into my boundaries!” said Yerin in an irritated tone.

SinB was taken back by this sudden outburst. She was shocked and was just looking at Yerin speechless.

Yerin looked down. “Sorry...I didn’t mean..to..I’m just ...not myself today...I’m sorr-” but got cut by SinB.

“No, it’s fine. You are right. I shouldn’t step into your personal life. I’ll excuse myself. Thank you for supper.” said SinB clenching her teeth before quickly leaving the balcony to go fetch the girls while Yerin followed her and caught her arm.

“SinB, it’s not what I meant and you know it!” said Yerin sincerely, she didn’t mean to push Sinb away like that. The girls and Yejun looked toward them.

“No, it’s fine. You made it clear Yerin. Sorry.” said SinB then she looked at the girls. “Let’s go, it’s getting late.” she coldly said so Sowon and Umji stood up quickly and walk toward SinB not sure what was happening.

“Please say thank you for supper to your uncle.” said Umji politely to Yerin.

Yejun pouted and ran toward Sowon and Umji. “You are not playing with Yejun anymore?” he asked in a sad tone.

Sowon shrugged. “Mianhe Yejun ar, we have to go. We will see you soon okay?” she told him with a sweet voice then they bid goodbye and leave.

As they turned around, SinB was already few steps ahead of them. Umji ran toward SinB and caught her. “SinB, what happen?!”

Then Sowon ran to them. “Yeah! What happen?!” she asked too but SinB just shook her head.

Then both of them looked at each other and shrugged. SinB’s shoulders started to shake so Umji quickly pulled SinB toward her for a hug. “Buddy, what’s wrong?!” asked Umji worriedly.

Sowon turned around since she hears some footstep behind them, it was Yerin looking at them. But she didn’t dare to advance toward them seeing the tension.

But, no explanation was heard, all they could hear was SinB low crying sob. Umji took SinB and they walked away, Sowon let her arm around SinB too wanting to comfort her friend. When SinB calmed down Umji stopped and made SinB look at her.

“Want to spend the night at my house?” she asked and SinB nodded. Then Umji looked up at Sowon. “You can join us too.” she said and Sowon nodded.

Hello!!  How was this chapter?!  Isn't yejun n umji together super cute hahaha.  Some sinrin moment but it went into the wrong way!  :( do you think sinb n yerin both took it too badly?  I hope we didn't hurt too much of sinrin shipper!!  <3 please forgive us!!  Nowwwwww!!! What will happen next?!
