After a bit of chit chatting, SinB phone vibrated. She opened her phone and saw a message from her crush.

“Where are you? Who are you with? What you doing?”

SinB felt anxious about the message, it seemed so direct, not like the usual Yuju message. She looked around, but failed to see Yuju. So she replied her saying that she was outside of class waiting for her next class. Not wanting to tell Yuju that she was with Yerin.

Then received a message with; “K, meet me at the gate after class”

Yerin looked at SinB. “Everything ok?” asked the chemistry girl and SinB nodded. SinB was a bit confused, they were meeting up after class? Didn’t Yuju said they would see each other during the weekend. But whatsoever, she get to spends more time with Yuju and that’s all it matter for her.

SinB thanked Yerin again for inviting her and offering her the rainbow jello duck then she left, thinking about Yuju, the girl wanted to see her after school, SinB couldn’t wait for her last class to finish even if it didn’t even started yet.

After class, she quickly ran to the gate and saw Yuju, Sowon and Eunha standing there.

“Hi girls! Sorry I’m a bit late! Class ended a bit later.” apologized SinB and the girls just shook their heads saying that it was okay.

SinB looked at Sowon, the poor girl nose was all red. “Sowon, are you heading home to rest?” asked SinB worried and Sowon nodded.

“Yeah..I thought I could hang out but I think it’s better if I go home and rest before I fall unconscious. I will see you girls later.” explained Sowon sadly as she turned around ready to leave.

“I will walk you home.” quickly said Eunha while linking her arm to Sowon’s arm.

“But, Eunha, it’s not that far, I can go home by myself.” said Sowon, worried that Eunha would walk back on her own.

Eunha roller her eyes. “You just said it yourself, you might fall unconscious! I have to make sure that you get back home safe. Now, no more argue or I will get mad for real this time!” said Eunha looking straight into Sowon’s eyes.

Sowon sighed in defeat, she knew this time she wouldn’t win this argument for sure. “Alright then, but promise me after you have to be careful on your way back. Don’t talk to stranger, don’t start going into small detour thinking that you will go home quicker!” said Sowon keeping nagging Eunha.

SinB laughed at them. “You two should go and start walking before it become very dark for real!” she said. “Have fun!” she added with a wink for Sowon but the tall girl send a dagger eyes to SinB and started walking away with Eunha.

SinB smiled at Yuju. “Do you want to go home or do you want to do something? It’s just me and you now!” said SinB excited, it looked like it’s another date.

“What? We can’t hang out just me and you?” asked Yuju in an irritated tone which shocked SinB.

“No… that’s not what I meant… I would love to hang out with you… ” explained SinB lowly, sad that her crush misinterpret her meaning.

“Let’s go to my house? We can watch a movie or something.” said Yuju, this time smiling. SinB was confused at Yuju mood change but nodded happily. As they started walking, Yuju held SinB’s hand. “So how was class today?” asked Yuju which made SinB hesitated, not sure how to tell her.

“Class was okay, but it got canceled, so I had to wait for the last period. I wanted to ditch and just go home!!” whined SinB which made Yuju giggle a bit. “Then how come you didn’t?” asked Yuju.

“Obviously, because I wanted to spend time with you!” answered SinB but then blushed from her own honestly. Yuju suddenly held her hand tighter and walk. As they pass by the park, SinB was looking around, thinking if Yerin would be there.

Yuju looked at her. “Searching for the chemistry girl?” she asked in a monotone voice.

SinB quickly shook her head. “No, why?”

“Because I see you were looking at the park. We saw her there last time no?” asked Yuju then SinB just noddded.

“But no I was just watching the people, wasn’t searching for her.” said SinB now looking down as they kept walking then SinB let go of Yuju’s hand. “Wait here for a minute.” she said before walking away and came back with an ice cream. “Here, let’s share this!” smiled SinB wanting Yuju to feel better which Yuju smiled sweetly back to her then they shared the ice cream.

SinB find that Yuju was weird this afternoon but try to shrugged her feeling away. As they reached the house, Yuju invited her in. SinB was a bit worry, what if her parent doesn’t like her, how should she present herself.

As they took step into the house, Yuju screamed “I’m homeeeeeee!” very loudly which shocked SinB. She knew Yuju was loud but, to this point, she just giggled at her friend. Yuju held her hand and brought her to greet her parents.

“Umma, appa! I brought someone home today!” said Yuju all happily.

“Someone? Is it your boyfriend?!” asked Yuju’s dad, all excited, as he come out of the living room with a middle age woman which SinB assumed was Yuju’s mom. She looked very pretty.

“Yah! Appa! No! It’s SinB! The girl that I always talk to you about!!” explained Yuju all excitedly.

“Ah!! SinB!!! We heard alot about you!! Come here you pretty girl!!” said Yuju’s mom pulling SinB into a warm hug. SinB was surprised by the action, Yuju’s parents gave off a very warm family feeling to her. Yuju’s mom looked at SinB. “Hmm, my daughter is right, you are a gem!! Very beautiful!!” exclaimed her mom which made SinB blush.

“Yah! Amma, you are making her blush!! She will stay for supper! Call us when food is ready!” said Yuju then she looked at SinB “Let’s go to my room!” she added as she dragged SinB up to her room.

It was the first time SinB went into Yuju’s house. Her house wasn’t big but it was very cozy, the decoration gave a very warm feeling. As she entered Yuju’s room, SinB looked around, Yuju had a big bed with a pink fluffy blanket, there were some stuffed toy all around. SinB looked at the desk, there were books and notebooks open, it was a mess, SinB smiled it was cute, she imagined Yuju trying to study all alone on her desk and sighing because SinB wasn’t here to explain the lesson to her. On the light purple walls were many posters of boy groups and other singers Yuju liked. SinB smiled and stood there to admire the room. Yuju was acting so mature compared to SinB but this room showed her young girl side

Yuju stared at SinB confused. “SinB? Why don’t you come closer? Why are you standing at the door?” asked Yuju worried SinB didn’t like her room.

SinB look at her. “Oh! Yes.. hehe sorry, I was just looking at your room, it’s very pretty.” she said  then she walked toward Yuju looking around, not sure where to sit. Yuju looked at her and giggled.

“You look so lost SinB! Come! You can just sit on my bed!! No need to be shy! Just take it as your own house!” smiled Yuju as she lay down on her bed. SinB sat beside Yuju and looked at Yuju. Yuju eyes were closed, SinB was able to look at her beautiful face again, it had been awhile since the last sleep over they had.

Then suddenly, Yuju opened her eyes and looked at SinB. “SinB, can I ask you a question?” with a serious tone.

SinB, don’t know why, but shes was feeling a bit scared. “Yeah..?” she answered but then her phone vibrated. Yuju looked at her, SinB just ignored her phone.

“Why don’t you check your phone?” asked Yuju.

“Oh, because I’m with you. I will check it later. You are the most important!” answered SinB sincerely.

“Hm… ok.” then as Yuju was going to continue to ask her question, her phone started to ring. Yuju looked at the caller ID and told SinB that she had to take the call before walking away.

SinB sighed, Yuju was a bit weird today. She took out her phone and saw the message. “Ducky!! What you doing?” SinB giggled.

“Yah, you are the ducky, nothing much, I’m hanging out with Yuju!” answered SinB then Yuju came back in so she put the phone away on the bed.

Yuju looked more happy after receiving her mysterious call. “So! What do you want to do?!” she asked which confused SinB again.

“Euh...didn’t you want to ask me a question?” said SinB a little lost which reminded Yuju.

“Oh yes, SinB, What are we?” asked Yuju and SinB gulped.

“Euh, we are friend? Close friend?” she answered sincerely even if she wishes she could say girlfriend but she bits her own tongue instead.

“What is the meaning of close friend for you then?” asked Yuju very seriously.

SinB hesitated before answering, not knowing what Yuju was doing right now. “We will be there for each other no matter what?” said SinB hoping It was What Yuju wanted to hear.

Yuju look at her. “We won’t lie to each other or hide from each other?” she added and SinB nodded, obviously agreeing with that statement.

“Then…” as Yuju was saying SinB phone vibrate again. Yuju was turning to look at the caller ID but SinB quickly grab it. Then before they could continue the conversation, they heard Yuju parent call them down.

“Ok!!” screamed Yuju, to go down. SinB was so confused, it clearly seemed like Yuju wanted to talk about something, but still up to now, nothing. When they got down, her mom already put the plates out and the table was set. SinB shyly sat on the empty spot next to Yuju.

“Don’t be shy SinB, just take it as your own house.” said Yuju’s mom nicely, and started putting food on SinB plate.

“Thank you very much aunty…” said SinB in a low shy tone which made them smile at how cute SinB was.

“So, how did you meet Yuju?” asked Yuju’s dad with a smile.

“Oh we met at a dance school” SinB reply politely.

“Appa! I already told you!!!” said Yuju pouting at her dad. “Don’t you listen to me when I talk?!” she asked him and he laughed.

“Well well! I need conversation to talk about!!! And maybe you are not telling the truth!!” teased Yuju’s dad making Yuju pout  even more and SinB giggled at their interactions.

“How’s my Yuju at school? I heard you two are not in the same program?” continued Yuju’s dad with a nice tone.

“Yuju is..” said SinB before looking  at Yuju. “a good student at school. She’s doing okay.” she added smiling at her friend.

“How nice of you SinB! Obviously Yuju isn’t doing too well at school without you! I heard you often tutor her and teach her. You are such a nice girl.” said Yuju’s mom which made SinB blush.

“Amma, you are making her uncomfortable now!!” exclaimed Yuju while keeping munching the food.

“What?! Am I not right SinB?” asked Yuju’s mom and SinB shyly shook her head.

After their supper, Yuju’s mom was cleaning up to prepare the dessert and fruit. SinB stood up and was lining up the dishes to bring to the kitchen and offer her help to wash the dishes. Yuju’s mom smile at her decline her offer. “Don’t worry about it, just go and enjoy.” but SinB shook her head and insisted to help. So Yuju’s mom let her wash the dishes and complained about Yuju.

“Yah! You are letting a guest cleaning up and you are just sitting there?! What kind of manner is that!” teased Yuju’s mom but Yuju stuck out her tongue.

“What?! It’s my close friend!! Just treat her as your own daughter!! She’s doing it for me.” grinned Yuju then winked to SinB making her blush.

“Aishhh, whoever have SinB as a girlfriend and wife is such a honor!!! But whoever have you as wife!! Poor him!!!” teased Yuju’s dad this time.

“Yah!! Appa!! What kind of dad insult their daughter like that!!” whined Yuju which made everyone laugh.

“Oh, SinB, do you have a boyfriend?” asked Yuju’s dad smiling.

“Nono! Not at all, never had.” answered SinB quickly while stuttering and they all giggled.

“Well that’s good, take your time. The best is for the last.” winked Yuju’s dad nicely.

“Yeah! Take your time SinB. And if no one take you in, I will take you in and we will live together foreverrrrrr!” said Yuju all happily which made SinB heart flutter. It make it sound like they could spend their life together.

“Right, Yuju, you, when you have a boyfriend you would forget your friend!” said Yuju’s dad playfully mocking his daughter.

“What?! What are you talking about appa?!!” asked Yuju frowning.

“True, last time you date, you were always just with your boyfriend, not hanging out with your other friends!! No wonder your friends were tired of your clingy attitude toward that poor boy and then he dumps you at the end.” teased Yuju dad which made Yuju frowned.

As SinB heard this conversation, her heart didn’t feel good, it seemed like their parents were perfectly okay with Yuju dating and were totally aware of Yuju’s love life.

“That’s not what happen! I told you that already!!” said Yuju in an annoy tone this time, clearly not having fun anymore with all the teasing.

“Yeah yeah. But Yuju, you should remember when you date, you should not forget your friends. If the guy hurt you or leave you, your friends will always be beside you.” said Yuju’s mom as an advise.

Yuju roll her eyes. “Yeah yeah, I have SinB by my side forever!! I would never treat her different even if I get a boyfriend now!” said Yuju looking straight in SinB’s eyes.

“Ohhhh, what is this?” asked Yuju’s dad curious.

“What?” asked Yuju confused at her dad curiosity.

“Sound like you might get one soon!!! Is there one that catch your attention? Who got my girl attention now?” said Yuju’s dad.

Then they suddenly heard Yuju’s mom voice. “Oh mo!! SinB, your hand is bleeding!! You accidently cut yourself!! Be careful!!” said Yuju’s mom in a caring tone as she approached SinB. But as soon as Yuju heard that, she quickly jump off from her seat and ran to SinB to held her.

“Oh mo!! SinB ar!! Are you okay?! Oh mo!! That’s a lot of blood!!” then she held SinB hand and go to the sink to put some cold water on it and guide her to sit down and went to get some bandage and quickly come back to wrap it. “SinB, you have to be more careful!!” said Yuju in a very caring tone before kissing SinB’s injured hand.

“Wow, I didn’t know my girl have such a caring side.” teased Yuju’s dad again.

Yuju gave a glare to her dad. “Yah!! I always have a caring side!!”

“We never saw that side of you with your ex though!! I hope your future boyfriend will get to see this side of you!! Are you sure you are not hiding from us?! Or someone that caught my baby attention” teased Yuju dad, once again.

“No!! What are you talking about!! No one caught my attention!!” denied Yuju “Plus, if I were to get one, SinB would be the first to know! And up to now, SinB doesn’t know anything so obviously i’m not dating!!” she sticks her tongue to her dad which made them giggle.

“Anyways, it’s true that we don’t see our baby caring side! SinB you are lucky that this girl is showing you her caring side! You must be very special to her.” said Yuju’s mom which Yuju grinned.

“Of course! She’s the best friend I ever had!! I feel like she would never let me down!! She’s such a good girl! She’s caring, smart, lovable and cute!! She’s everything!! If I was a boy I would have ask her to be my wife already!” said Yuju very sincerely which made SinB heart flutter.

They all laughed and chit chat some more then Yuju decided to go back up to her room. They sat on Yuju bed and opened a movie on Yuju laptop and started to watch. Yuju was laying her head on SinB while wrapping her arm around SinB.

SinB felt like she was in heaven, it felt like a married couple that was settling in bed and enjoying their night. Until at the half of the movie, SinB phone light up again. Yuju looked at SinB who giggled at the message. “I’m going to sleep Duckyyyyyy!! See you soon!”

“Who’s ducky? This person often text you. Do I know this person?” asked Yuju as she pause the movie.

SinB panicked. “Oh...Euh...It’s just a nickname…”

“Who’s it?” asked Yuju again, waiting for SinB to answer. SinB didn’t know what to do anymore. This time Yuju put the laptop away and looked at SinB. “Are you lying to me?”

SinB eyes widen:”What?”

“Can i ask you a question?” said Yuju in a serious tone.

“Yeah...go ahead...” panicked SinB.

“Where were you during your class cancel?”

“At school…” said SinB looking down, it was true, she was at school.

“With?” insisted Yuju

“A friend…”

“Do I know this friend?” continued Yuju to interrogate her friend. SinB nodded she was petrified, does Yuju knew everything? “Is it ducky?” added Yuju and SinB nodded again, praying that Yuju didn’t know that ducky was Yerin.

“.... Ducky is the chemistry girl right?” said Yuju in a monotone. This time SinB felt like her heart stop. Yuju knew. She didn’t dare to look at Yuju nor dare to make a sound. The room was completely silent. If there was a bug that fly by, they would have heard it perfectly at that moment.

Yuju scoff and got up the bed. “ Close friend right? Share secret right? No hiding stuff right? What are you doing SinB?!” this time Yuju raise a bit her voice.

SinB looked down.

“I tried to convince myself it wasn’t you I saw today with her...but I knew it was you with that chemistry girl!! I went out of class and heard someone call ducky princess and ducky. I could recognized your voice from thousand mile away!! I looked around and to my disappointment, I saw you with her!! Then my memory flash that you have ducky on your phone…”

SinB didn’t dare to mutter a word still.

“I couldn't believe it was you, I didn’t want to believe it but I saw you then you lied to my face all day!!” Yuju was teary eyes as she continued. “Why are you doing this SinB?! Why did you lie to me and hide from me?! I clearly told you to be careful of her! I told you to stay away with her! I told you to delete her number!!! But you saved her number under another name?! You are lying to me!! You are hiding stuff from me!!” said Yuju, clearly mad. “This girl hurt me so much SinB, I thought you understood me, and would be by my side, that you would choose me over her, we knew each other before you meet her, we got so close, how can you betray me like that?!”

SinB eyes were getting teary too, she really didn’t know what to do. It felt like her world was stopping and that everything was falling apart. She was having such a nice day but things were getting worst. The supper, when their parent mention about Yuju boyfriend, and possibly a new guy that came into Yuju life was already tearing SinB apart. But now with this, she really feel like her world was collapsing.

“I gave you a lot of chance to explain yourself today!! I ask you who were you with and all those question hoping you would tell me the truth. Hoping you would be honest with me, like a friend should be. But not even once you told me the truth or even try to confess to me!!” continued Yuju as tears ran on her face.

“I didn’t lie….” finally articulated SinB between sobs which was true, she just didn’t answer the question that Yuju asked making Yuju even madder.

“Right. You just ignored my other questions!! Right SinB!” said Yuju even more frustrated, so frustrated she couldn’t cry anymore. But on the contrary, SinB sobs was getting louder.

“Don’t cry!! Your crying won’t solve this problem now!” said Yuju, her heart not moving at all this time. She was clearly mad. SinB crying wouldn’t make her change her mind.

“Now, tell me. Why are you still friend with that girl? Why are you still hanging out with her?! Now that I think of it, you’ve been hanging out with her a lot of time already right?!” asked Yuju and SinB nodded slowly. Yuju scoffed. “So you’ve been hiding so much from me...Wow...and you said we were friend?” whispered Yuju sadly and hurt by SinB actions that tears started to came back to her eyes. SinB tears flowed out even more.

“I’m sorry…” muttered SinB. “I didn’t mean to make you upset...I..just don’t know what to do or how to..do it. I don’t want to be mean...” she explained rubbing her eyes.

“Do what?! Ignore that girl?! It’s easy SinB! Just delete her and block her! If she talk to you at school just walk pass her! She will get the message!!” said Yuju which SinB was just staring at the floor. “Don’t worry about being mean, do you think she wondered if she was mean to me before stealing my boyfriend? She doesn’t care about other people’s feelings, she will just use you to hurt me and it’s working, look at us!” SinB swallowed hard and looked at Yuju but stayed silent, she was thinking about everything Yuju told her. “Will you do it?” asked Yuju looking at SinB in the eyes.

SinB looked back at her. “Do..what?” she hesitated.

Yuju frowned.“Delete her and remove her from your life. So she won’t hurt any of us again like that.” SinB didn’t know what to do then Yuju held SinB’s shoulder. “SINB!!! I am doing this for your own good! This girl is bad news!! She will only bring trouble to you!! Please!! Just do it!! Do it for me!!!” said Yuju very seriously but SinB was just staring at Yuju, her face was so close to her. Even when Yuju was mad, SinB noticed how pretty the girl was.

Seeing SinB wasn’t about to answer anything, Yuju sighed. “Well… maybe you don’t want to be my friend anymore…” said Yuju sadly. “Maybe you rather choose that girl you barely know over me, your friend that did so much for you since we met…”

SinB eyes widened and shook her head. “No !! I want to be your friend! I don’t want to be separate from you!!” exclaimed SinB quickly, tears still rolling down from her eyes. “I can’t imagine not being by your side, please believe me…”

“Then delete her. Block her. Don’t talk to her anymore.” said Yuju in a stern voice. “It’s the only way since you kept lying to me, I can’t trust you anymore.” she added then Yuju took SinB’s phone. “Here, delete her number and block it in front of me.” she ordered as she handed the phone back to SinB.

SinB looked at her phone and sighed, she opened her contact list, clicked on Yerin’s number then blocked and deleted. Yuju smiled and hugged SinB tightly.

“Thank you SinB. Sorry...that I was rude to you...please don’t cry…I’m doing it for us” said Yuju clearly relieved as she wiped SinB’s tears and pressed a kiss on SinB forehead which made SinB cry even more.

It was so scary when Yuju was mad at her. It felt like her world was disappearing but now having Yuju next to her so close, wiping her tears, SinB heart was breaking apart. She knew how deeply she had fall for this girl. She would really do anything for her. If Yuju really wanted Yerin out of her life. Then be it, SinB decided that she will do it for Yuju.

It was getting late and Yuju asked SinB to stay over for the night.
