As they arrived to Umji’s house, the girl went to open the door. All the lights were off and Sowon frowned.

“Your parents are already sleeping?” she asked not wanting to be impolite by entering the house now and risking to wake them up.

Umji shook her head. “Like I said to Eunha once, my parents are often out of town because of work, they’re not here.” explained Umji and Sowon nodded.

They entered and Umji walked to the kitchen, before turning to SinB. “SinB call your parents to let them know you’re staying here.” said Umji knowing SinB’s parent would worry again if SinB forgot to let them know.

Sinb nodded and walked away to make her call. Sowon followed Umji and sighed. “She seems so out recently… what do you think happened with Yerin?” asked Sowon worried.

Umji shook her shoulders. “I don’t know, but I don’t think it’s the only thing that’s bothering our SinB right now.” said Umji taking a glass of water. “Thirsty?” she asked Sowon that shook her head.

“No thanks.”

SinB joined them after some minutes and handed the phone to Umji. “Mom want to talk to you.” just said SinB.

Umji nodded and took the phone, she talked some minutes with SinB’s mother before wishing them a good night and hanging up.

“What did she said?” asked Sowon wondering why SinB’s mom would want to talk to Umji.

“Making sure SinB was with me and that she wasn’t bothering me or my parents.” explained Umji. “I tell her every time that SinB is never a bother for us but she keep making sure it’s really okay” smiled Umji.

Sowon nodded and SinB looked at her phone. “It’s not late maybe we could watch a movie.” she said as she started walking to the living room but Umji caught her arm.

“Wait a minute, I bring you here to talk. Don’t try to escape from this SinB.” said Umji seriously and SinB looked down. Sowon watched them and stayed silent, if it was her she would wait for SinB to talk but Umji knew her better and was the only one that could make SinB open up fully. “What’s bothering you lately?” asked Umji as they went to sit on the couch. “It’s been some days you’re very sensitive…”

SinB looked down, her eyes were teary again, seeing she was not answering, Umji put her hand under SinB’s chin and made her best friend looking at her. SinB was crying again.

“Are you crying because of Yerin or because of Yuju?” asked Umji surprising the both girls beside her.

“Yuju?” asked Sowon not understanding. “What does Yuju has to do with all of this? Did you fight or something?” asked Sowon worried for her friend.

SinB shook her head. “She’s with Jackson…” she confessed as she started to cry even more.

Umji quickly took her in her arms again and hugged her. “It’s okay, you will be okay we’re here for you…” said Umji calmly as she patted SinB’s back.

When SinB calmed down both of her friends were looking at her expectantly, they wanted to know what Yuju said of course. “They had a date yesterday night, that’s why we didn’t spend all day together …” said SinB and Sowon nodded understanding better why Sinb seemed weird at school this morning. “And she is hanging out with him and his friends at the club tonight…” added SinB sadly.

Sowon frowned. “But did she tell you she was dating him?”

SinB hesitated. “Not really but she told me he wanted to date her and made her understand that and also that she was hesitating because she was scared to lose me…” explained SinB as Umji gently brushed her tears away from her cheeks. “They look so close and he even calls her babe…”

Umji bit her lips. “I’m so sorry buddy… I wish Yuju would love you instead of him but you can’t force people to love you right? And you don’t choose who you fall in love with.” said Umji and SinB sadly nodded remembering she already heard these words somewhere. “You have to be happy for her if he’s her happiness and you have to be strong and move on so you will be able to find yours!” said Umji hoping to cheer up SinB but Sowon was frowning.

“Nothing’s over yet.” said Sowon seriously. “Yuju never said she was dating him, you maybe still have a chance SinB. Calling each other by sweet names doesn’t mean they’re together!” she said wanting SinB to not lose hope. “If she wanted to date him that much then why did she waited that long? She would have said yes at the beginning, she maybe doesn’t love him? You have to show her she have other options! That you love her too if not how do you want her to consider you?”

SinB stared at Sowon. “Are you saying I should confess?” she asked and Umji shook her head while looking at Sowon.

“Don’t be stupid Sowon, SinB can’t confess if Yuju is already dating Jackson, it will only risk to break their friendship.” said Umji worried.

“How do you know?” asked Sowon frowning. “It’s clear that SinB is a special person for Yuju, they’re so close and they care so much for each other, Yuju probably love SinB too but didn’t realise or really think about it since they are both girls… if SinB confess, it will open Yuju’s eyes.” said Sowon really believing it while Umji was really uncertain about it.

SinB looked at Sowon then at Umji not knowing what to think anymore. She swallowed hard as she looked at Umji in the eyes. “Sowon’s maybe right…Yuju and I spend all day at school together, she would have tell me about dating Jackson...” said SinB having hope back. “I have to let Yuju know I can be an option for her… And I have nothing to lose anymore now that Jackson is around he will probably steal her away from me anyway…”

Umji sighed. “Listen I don’t want you to have too much hope about this and I don’t want you to be hurt if it didn’t end up well.” said Umji sincerely. “But it’s up to you to decide what to do now.” she said before hugging SinB. “I understand better why you were looking so bad recently.” said Umji as she broke the hug. “Next time you can come tell us right away when something is bothering you, don’t keep it to yourself till you explode…”

SinB nodded. “Yeah I’m sorry and I also kinda messed everything up with Yerin too…” confessed SinB sadly.

“Yeah what happened with Yerin?” asked Sowon curious to know about it.

“I wanted to help her and Yejun be close together again but she pushed me away and we kinda got mad at each other, I don’t think I was the only one bothered by something else tonight… we both reacted badly tonight but in a way she’s totally right…” explained SinB sadly. “I was the one that hurt her and called our friendship off… I didn’t want her in my life anymore and now I’m trying to interfere in her life…” said Sinb looking down. “She really must hate me right now.”

Both Sowon and Umji hugged her. SinB felt better having them here with her, listening and supporting her.

Umji smiled at SinB. “You should try to apologize to Yerin and also try to talk with Yuju.” she said and SinB nodded.

“Yeah Umji’s right, make things clear with everyone so you will feel better.” added Sowon and Sinb nodded before hugging them both again.

“I love you guys.” whispered SinB.

“You better love us!” said Umji and Sowon giggled.

“So what about this movie?” asked Sowon and they decided to watch a movie together. As expected SinB fell asleep after some minutes.

Umji glance from time to time at Sowon until the tall girl sighed. “What?” she asked Umji who smiled.

“I was just curious about you and Eunha… How are you guys doing?” asked Umji really wanting to know more about her friends. “You two seem even more close than usual.” said Umji winking as she remembered the two girls almost kissing at the restaurant.

Sowon blushed and nodded. “We’re good, like very good.” she said smiling.

“Are you two dating?” asked Umji and Sowon shook her shoulders.

“No we’re not… we didn’t really talk about it, we just enjoy each other’s company and live in the moment you know?” said Sowon smiling as she was thinking about her bunny.

Umji nodded. “So you didn’t confess yet?”

“No I didn’t…” said Sowon and Umji arched an eyebrow.

“Did Eunha confess then?” asked Umji this time, how could their relationship evolve like that if neither confess, one of them must have said something about their feelings.

Sowon shook her head. “Not really but she kissed me and asked me to only kiss her…” explained Sowon blushing. “I think she was a little jealous I kissed SinB last time, at least this kiss was useful.” added Sowon while looking at the sleeping SinB beside them.

“You kissed SinB?” asked Umji surprised.

Sowon frowned. “SinB didn’t tell you?”

Umji shook her head. “She was preoccupied by so much stuff recently, I can’t blame her.” said Umji knowing SinB too well. “And maybe the kiss was so bad she rather forget!” said Umji teasing Sowon who pouted.

“It was quite a nice kiss you know! And it’s all because of you, we were drunk and we thought about what you said about SinB and I dating so we tried to kiss to see how it would feel…” explained Sowon and Umji smirked.

“And how it was?” she asked curious.

“Nice but nothing compared to kissing Eunha to be honest.” confessed Sowon. “I love SinB but she’s like a little sister to me.” she added and Umji nodded. “Umji, you never kissed anyone?” asked Sowon and Umji shook her head.

“No never.” said the girl blushing.

Sowon nodded. “You never think about it? isn’t there someone you would like to kiss?” asked Sowon and Umji was a little surprised to see Sowon interested in knowing that.

“Why you ask me that?” asked Umji back and Sowon shook her shoulders.

“What? You want to kiss me too now?” asked Umji with a teasing tone.

Sowon blushed immediately. “What?! No no!” she said quickly and Umji laughed at her. “I’m just curious…” added Sowon. “You’re so cute and smart, and you always worry and try to help us with our crushes but you never talk about yourself or about you having a crush on someone…” she said sincerely. “Maybe you open up more to SinB but I feel like you try your best to be there for her and keep your problems or something to yourself…”

Umji smiled at Sowon. “It’s nice of you to worry about me, but I’m fine and I’m very happy to help you guys.” said Umji before looking at SinB. “Especially this cute innocent thing.” she said caressing SinB’s cheek slowly not to wake her up.

Sowon giggled. “Seriously, you’ve been here for me many times and I want you to feel free to talk to me if you need it I will be there for you too.” said Sowon sincerely and Umji nodded before hugging Sowon.

Hello!! 

SinB finally got it off her chest by telling Umji and Sowon about what happened between Yuju and Yerin with her. What do you guys think of Sowon and Umji suggestion? Which side are you on? Should SinB keep it for herself and just give up on Yuju or should she give it a try and confess to Yuju and see the outcome? 

How was the maknae and leader line? =P Umji asking Sowon if she wanted to kiss her this time haahaha! We had fun writing this part out.
