The next days, SinB, Umji and Sowon were practicing hard in the room that Jiyoon assigned to them. They were dancing hard, practicing so that they were in perfect sync.

“SinB ar!!! You are going too rough on us!!! We need a break!!” whined Sowon in which Umji laughed. “Yah! Kiddo! Why are you laughing!? We are suffering together!!” added Sowon crossing her arms on her chest.

“I don’t find it suffering. This is how SinB is when she’s focus. She just want us to do our best Sowon ar.” explained Umji nicely then she turned to SinB. “SinB, let’s take a break, because at this rate you are going to kill the penguin.” said Umji to her best friend and Sowon glared at Umji with a deadly glare.

SinB giggled. “Alright alright, let’s take a break.” said SinB stopping the music and throwing their towels to the girls. As they were wiping their sweat and drinking water, they heard a knock at the door.

“Hey girls? Practicing hard?” asked Jiyoon looking at them happily.

The girls nodded. “Unnie!! SinB is killing us!!” whined Sowon which made SinB smack her.

“Yah!! It’s for your own good! You’re not in sync with us!!” said SinB in a strict professional tone which made Jiyoon giggle.

She patted SinB head. “SinB ar, they weren’t trained like you, don’t forget that. Don’t be too harsh on them araso?” explained Jiyoon making SinB pout but also happy to feel Jiyoon patting her head again.

Sowon shook her head. “I was joking, unnie.” she said as she looked at SinB. “I know you are doing it for our own good. So no problem. It’s a new SinB that I see lately.” said Sowon which made SinB confused.

“What do you mean new SinB?” asked SinB arching an eyebrow.

“Well, the SinB I usually see, just laze around, is silent and whiny. But the one I’ve been seeing lately is a proud, strict and very happy. Even though, you’re killing me, I’m happy that I get to see this side of you.” smiled Sowon which made SinB blush a bit.

“Yeah, whenever SinB is focus especially in dancing, it’s another person. She won’t go soft on anyone.” smiled Umji, proud of her best friend which made SinB grin and hug Umji.

“Unnie, did you need us for something?” asked SinB realising that Jiyoon probably didn’t come just to chat with them.

Jiyoon quickly nodded. “Oh yeah true, I wanted to tell you girls that someone will come get your measurement.” she said making the trio confused.

“Unnie, we already chose our outfit and Yerin already fixed it for us.” said Umji.

“Yeah, I heard. But the problem is, the clothes that you chose from that rack are those that have already been chosen by another group.” explained Jiyoon which made the girls’ eyes widen.

“Oh...I see...Then we are having a new set?” asked Sowon excited to have new clothes.

Jiyoon nodded. “Yep, someone will come and measure you.” said the teacher smiling then they heard the door knock. Jiyoon looked quickly at the door. “Ah, speak of the devil here she is.” she said walking to the door and opening it. They all see Yerin coming in.

Yerin bowed politely to Jiyoon. “Hi Unnie, you asked for me?” asked the chemistry girl to the teacher.

Jiyoon smiled at Yerin. “Yeah, these 3 need measurements, you already know them I presume since you fixed their clothes last time?” asked Jiyoon.

Yerin looked at them and slowly nodded. “Yeah.”

“Oh! Are we getting new design too? Can Yerin make a new style?” asked Sowon joining her hands ready to beg the girl for a new design, something only them would have for the showcase.

Jiyoon think a bit about it and looked at Yerin. “Can you?” she asked hopeful.

Yerin looked at Jiyoon. “I can try?” she said hesitating a little. Then Yerin looked at the girls. “Is there something specific that you want?” she asked and Sowon started to jump up and down with happiness.

“I don’t really care as long as it show my perfect body proportion!” said Sowon all happily with a wink.

“You can just ignore this giraffe and her proportion. We want something that’s comfortable to wear but also show the powerful dance.” explained Umji more seriously.

Yerin nodded and wrote down notes. “Hm…” then the girls looked at her. “These informations aren’t really… enough for me to draw out a draft...” explained Yerin pouting.

Jiyoon looked at the four girls. “Okay, well.” she started as she looked at Yerin. “I’ll leave them to you Yerin. I believe in your design style. Oh and if you want you can check some dance move with them. Our SinB here is very good.” explained the teacher before walking away.

SinB looked at Yerin. “You dance too?” she asked suddenly frowning. Yerin looked at SinB, surprised that the girl finally talk.

Yerin nodded. “Yeah, I used to dance.” she answered simply, not really wanting to explain her life to a girl that didn’t want to be her friend anyway.

“Why you stopped?” asked SinB, curious but her tone came out more cold than she expected from herself.

Yerin raised her eyebrow. “Because, I’m not too interest in it? Anyways, I will need to know a bit more to be able to design an outfit.” she said looking at Sowon and Umji. SinB saw that the chemistry girl just changed subject and sighed.

“What about we show you our dance ? Would that help you?” asked Umji smiling.

Yerin hesitated but nodded. “Good idea, it will actually help a lot… but do you girls mind?” she asked looking at SinB but the girl was just looking down and clearly not listening to them.

Umji furrowed her eyebrows and looked at SinB but still no reaction from her best friend that was lost in her own mind. Then Sowon smacked SinB.

“Yah!” yelled SinB looking up at Sowon with eyes widen. “Wae?” she asked not understanding why Sowon would hit her like that suddenly.

Sowon rolled her eyes. “If you could just answer her, I wouldn’t need to hit you! Why does she need to ask if we mind telling her? Is our dance a secret or something?” asked Sowon to SinB.

SinB shrugged. “Well...not really a secret but some group don’t like people to know what song they dance to, so there’s more anticipation, you see?” she said to Sowon who nodded now understanding why Yerin asked them.

“But, she is part of the show no? Why does it matter?” asked Umji not understanding why the staff couldn’t know.

SinB looked at her best friend. “Well, let’s say one staff know and tell their family and then the word will start spreading. It’s a bit complicated but for us it’s ok.” explained SinB in which the girls nodded understanding perfectly now.

“Ah! I see!” exclaimed Umji before looking at Yerin. “Yeah, no problem. Our song is “huh” by 4minute!” she said.

“Oh! Nice one. A kick song!” said Yerin with her eyesmile.

Sowon nodded. “Yeah! So please design us a kick outfit!” winked Sowon which made Yerin giggle.

“Will try my best!” promised the chemistry girl smiling at Sowon.

“Why are you making us dance in front of her?” whispered SinB in which Sowon and Umji shrugged.

“It will help the design.” whispered back Umji.

Yerin eyed them and wondered what they were talking about.“Is there a problem?” she asked worried. “If it make you uncomfortable, it’s okay.” she said sincerely then Umji shook her head.

“No no, no problem. Can you just click the play button?” asked Umji and Yerin nodded.

As the song started, not even a quarter to the song, Umji had to stop it. And told Yerin to wait a bit as she dragged SinB out. “SINB! What the heck!!” Umji raised her tone as they were out of the dancing room..

“Waeyo?!” asked SinB frowning.

“You are not focus SinB! What’s wrong with you?! You were off beat and looking everywhere!!” asked Umji wanting to shake SinB to wake her up.

SinB sighed. “I don’t know..” she said but then seeing her best friend eyeing her made her take a deep breathe. “Just... seeing Yerin around make me feel… weird… I don’t know how to act… I just… turn cold toward her… I want to talk normally to her but I don’t know how…” explained SinB looking down.

“SinB. Listen to me. You are going to dance normally in front of Yerin. Imagine it’s your own practice with no one watching you. You are a professional dancer. You don’t get affected by others.” said Umji grabbing SinB’s face looking straight at her eyes.

SinB looked at Umji and nodded. “Mianhe, you’re right… thank you buddy… for calming me down… ”

Umji smiled at SinB. “And, be nicer to Yerin. You guys broke off the friendship doesn’t mean you two have to act like enemy.” said Umji but SinB shrugged so Umji gave the girl an insisting look. “Don’t disappoint me SinB. My best friend is not like this.” said Umji as she walked back in, and quickly dragged Sowon to the corner giving a chance for SinB to talk to Yerin.

SinB sighed and walked in seeing Yerin sitting at the chair on her phone. She slowly walked toward Yerin and saw her playing on her duck game again which made her giggle a little. Yerin heard it and raised her eyebrow, she looked at the mirror and saw SinB giggling.

“Why are you giggling?” asked Yerin closing her phone and turning to SinB who swallowed hard.

“Still duck game… you never change do you?” asked SinB and Yerin stared at her before smiling a bit.

“Well, what can I say. I love ducks.” said Yerin with her eyesmile now. “And so is you. You never change. Always commenting about my ducks passion.” she added and they both giggled. How much SinB missed this atmosphere.

SinB looked at Yerin. “I’m sorry, I don’t know what to do and I don’t know how to act around you anymore.” explained SinB honestly. “Like we’re not friends, but we’re not enemies right?” asked SinB repeating Umji’s word and looking down.

Yerin nodded. “Don’t worry about it. Apologize accepted. Let’s just pretend we are working as a team for now. You can ignore me later again. So, now please show me your dance so that I can create a kick outfit for you girls.” said Yerin smiling. SinB faked a smile, not liking her sentence of ignoring her again but decided to gulped it down.

SinB went to join the girls, Umji smiled seeing that her best friend mood was back to normal.

“Girls you ready? I’m a click play!” said Yerin more happy than before then the girls nodded and Yerin click the button.

The trio started to dance to the song as they planned and Yerin was looking at them carefully and started to write out some details. From time to time, SinB would take a look at Yerin from the mirror. She would see Yerin pout and frown before writing more notes. Seeing Yerin that focus made her smile a bit but then reminded herself that she also needed to focus. At the break dance part, it was SinB who started her solo dance, she would pop her body and dance to the music then Umji and Sowon would follow in.

At the end of the song, Yerin clapped her hands. “Wow!! You girls are amazing!!!!!” exclaimed Yerin all excitedly. “No wonder, the committee all have their eyes on your team. This is Daebak!!” she added. “Who created these dance moves?” asked Yerin looking at the girls but her eyes were looking at SinB.

“How you know it was one of us and not Jiyoon unnie?!” asked Sowon.

Yerin smiled “Because, there’s a refreshing vibe and a more new style of dancing.” said Yerin and Sowon nodded.

Umji couldn’t hide her smile. “It’s our SinB who created it.” she said clearly proud of her best friend and Yerin smiled at them.

“Wow, SinB! You are amazing!!!” said Yerin as she pulled SinB toward her for a hug but both of them quickly pull apart blushing. “Sorry…” quickly said Yerin but SinB shook her head.

“No no…It’s okay...” answered SinB still blushing. Sowon and Umji eyed them before giggling. SinB glared at them. “Why are you two giggling?!” she asked knowing her friends were probably making fun of her again.

Sowon smirked. “Well you two look like ex-lovers fearing to get seen hugging by people!” laughed Sowon making them blush again.

Yerin quickly backed away. “No no, don’t get the wrong idea!” she said taking another step away from SinB.

Umji rolled her eyes and pinched Sowon. “Great job for making the atmosphere more awkward now! Next time you want to say something like that, just don’t say anything!” she said and finally everyone laughed except Sowon who started pouting. “So Yerin, do you have an idea for the outfit?” continued Umji smiling at the chemistry girl.

Yerin nodded happily. “I think I know what to do, I’m a go finish drawing it then work to make them.” she explained closing her notebook.

Sowon bit her lips and took a step closer to Yerin, she was very curious about their future outfits. “Can’t we see what you draw or written down?” she asked hesitating but Yerin shook her head.

“You know what, I think it would be more fun to make that a surprise. So let’s say it’s a secret!” winked Yerin before walking toward the door. “Good luck girls!! Have fun!” she added then she left the room not before looking once more at SinB.

Sowon quickly ran to the door and opened it, Yerin was walking away in the corridor. “Yerin ar! Make sure you make me very hot in it!!!” screamed Sowon making Yerin stop and turn to her. Everyone laughed and Yerin just give her an ok sign before turning her back to her and walking away for good.

Once Sowon closed back the door, she stared at her teammates. “What?!” she asked all innocently and they laughed at the tall girl.

“How hot you want to be? You want Eunha to die of your iness or something?” laughed SinB.

Sowon blushed a bit but smirked as she looked at SinB. “Yeah yeah, as if you don’t want Yuju to drool over you!” teased Sowon and SinB roll her eyes as she walked away.

“Okay okay girls, let’s practice again!! There was a part that I didn’t do well…” pouted Umji in which SinB smiled.

“Come here buddy I will teach you again, I know which part you’re talking about, the part where you turn, your feet have to do this!” said SinB then she showed Umji and the girls started practicing hard again.

Finally!! SinB and Yerin will be back to normal, for now! ;) Are you guys excited? =P Did some of you squeal?
