The next day, SinB woke up at the sound of her alarm. She felt so exhausted and tired. She walked toward the bathroom to prepare herself, as she stared at the mirror, she freaked out. Her eyes were so swollen from all the crying she did yesterday night. SinB got closer to the mirror and looked at her face, she sighed. She couldn’t hide this even with makeup. Last time she cried like that was because she thought she would lose Yuju.

SinB jumped when she hears her phone vibrate, she took a step away from the mirror and went to get the phone that she let on her bed. It was a text from her crush.

“I will be at school early so don’t wait for me at the gate!!! See you soon ar!!”

SinB smiled, then she quickly rushed back to the washroom. She took a deep breath and looked at the mirror again. “Today is a new day SinB! I need to focus!!” she told herself with determination then she washed her face and got ready to go to school. As she got down, she saw her mom at the living room.

“Good morning umma!” said SinB, faking her happy voice, she didn’t want her mother to worry or ask anything right now.

“Good morning SinB, ready for school?” asked her mom and SinB nodded before going to the kitchen to grab a toast.

“SinB ar, what’s wrong with your eyes?” asked her father when he saw her inside the kitchen.

SinB shrugged. “Don’t know, probably too tired…” lied SinB avoiding looking at her dad, she looked at her toast then turned her face away. “Anyways, I have to rush to school.” she added then she left.

As she got to school, she went to their table but to her surprise she only saw Sowon there. SinB was a little disappointed that Yuju wasn’t here, she looked around before sitting in front of the tall girl.

“Good morning SinB!” said Sowon happily as she saw her friend joining her.

“Good morning.” answered SinB with no emotion.

“What’s wrong? Your eyes is all puffy...” asked Sowon, worried.

SinB just shrugged her shoulder. “Nothing.” she said not wanting to talk about it right now, not even sure if she wanted to talk about it at all.

“Did you cry?” insisted Sowon frowning and more worried now but SinB just shook her head hopping Sowon would get it and stop asking questions. “SinB ar…” tried Sowon again, doing her best so she could get the girl to talk. It was obviously for Sowon that SinB didn't look okay, her eyes were all red and swollen, making it clear that she cried the whole night.

“I said nothing, just..leave me alone!” answered SinB a bit irritated this time which shocked Sowon. Seeing the tall girl face SinB sighed. “Mianhe Sowon… I’m just not myself today…” apologized SinB to Sowon knowing she was being rude.

Sowon shook her head. “It’s okay… I’m here for you ok?” said the tall girl with a sweet voice, SinB nodded at her knowing Sowon was just worried about her.

“Where’s Yuju?” asked SinB as she looked around again, all she wanted for now was seeing Yuju, seeing her smile, hearing her voice and smelling her parfum. SinB missed her so much, thinking about Yuju helped her forget about Yerin.

“Yuju?” asked Sowon. “It’s still too early for her to get here!” she laughed. “Do you miss your girl that much?!” she added teasing SinB hoping to bring a smile on her friend’s lips.

SinB was a little confused but glared at Sowon. “But she texted me that she would be at school early today…” explained SinB.

Sowon shrugged. “Maybe she didn’t end up coming to school early? You know her, maybe she fell back asleep!” said Sowon laughing, it made SinB giggle. This was something that could definitely happen with Yuju.

“And where’s Eunha?” asked SinB, seeing that Sowon was alone when she arrived some minutes ago.

“She says she has a group meeting in the morning. She will see us later.” explained Sowon as she started eating her snack. SinB nodded and sighed. Sowon looked at her but decided not to comment, she would wait until SinB want to talk about it.

As they were eating they heard some commotion behind, they both looked at it and saw that a group of students was laughing at each other. They probably did something stupid. But then SinB saw Yerin there, laughing with the group. Their eyes meet and Yerin quickly looked away and sat back down with her friends.

SinB, seeing Yerin, started to get teary again. She started to remember the letter and before she realized it, she felt a hand on her thigh. She quickly looked up and see Sowon looking at her worriedly.

“SinB ar? Why are you teary?!” asked Sowon, clearly SinB need to talked.

SinB shook her head. “It’s time for class… I will go first. See you later.” she said standing up before quickly walking away to her class leaving Sowon alone. SinB whipped her tears away as she walked quickly away, she didn’t even knew why she was reacting like that. Tears just came out every time she was thinking about Yerin.

During class, SinB had trouble focusing. More like, she couldn’t focus at all. Few days ago, she felt that ignoring and running away from Yerin was so much easier than having a proper closure. Probably because by having a proper closure, she knows that their friendship was officially over. It was over for good and Yerin letter made it very clear. SinB couldn’t stop thinking about that damn letter and couldn't understand why she was becoming so emotional because of it...

After some of her classes, it was lunch time, she got there and saw Yuju, Eunha and Sowon at their table. SinB went to sit beside Yuju at her usual spot.

“Hi SinB!” said Eunha smiling while eating her snack.

SinB smiled and nodded at her and then looked at Sowon who was staring at her. SinB just nodded at Sowon making her understand that she’s ok then she turned to look at Yuju. SinB frowned, the girl was on her phone and didn’t even greet her.

“Yuju ar...” said SinB with a shy voice.

Yuju turned around and smiled. “SinB!! You are here!! I missed you!!” said Yuju hapily then she hugged SinB who smiled. It made her felt so good until Yuju went back on her phone ignoring her presence again.

SinB sighed, and took her lunch out, she started to eat it in silence. But after a bite, she didn’t want to eat anymore, she didn’t have appetite.

“SinB ar, why are you not eating?” asked Eunha arching an eyebrow at SinB.

SinB looked at Eunha and faked a smile. “I don’t know. Not really hungry.” just said SinB pushing her plate away with a disgusting face.

Yuju turned around. “Not hungry? But your lunch look so good!!” exclaimed Yuju giving SinB her puppy eyes.

SinB smiled at her. How could she resist that face... “You can have it then…” said SinB smiling a bit at Yuju cute attitude.

Yuju happily took the sandwich but Eunha was whining. “Yah!! I want some too!” said the short girl pouting so both of them decided to share SinB’s lunch.

After lunch they decided to take a walk outside before their next class so they all stood up but someone accidently bumped into SinB.

“Ouch” said SinB looking who bumped into her like that.

The person looked at SinB. “ Mianhe!!! I didn’t mean to. Did I hurt you badly?” he asked then he saw SinB. “Oh! You are Yerin friend!!” the guy apologized to SinB.

SinB was just staring at the guy, and then recognized that it’s the guy that’s always with Yerin. Then Yerin was coming back toward the guy. “What’s wrong oppa?” she asked as she got closer to him.

“Mianhe Yerin, I hurt your friend…” he said then looked down pouting but Yerin just looked at SinB with no emotion. While Yuju ticked off hearing what the guy just said.

“What Yerin’s friend? They are not friends! She doesn’t deserve to have SinB as a friend.” said Yuju irritated which made the guy lift his eyebrow and just stared Yuju.

“Well, obviously my Yerin is not friend with such a mean person...” he said as he looked at Yuju then he looked at SinB and his expression softened. “I’m really sorry…” he apologized again.

SinB was just looking at Yerin and Yerin was just looking at SinB. Then Yerin dragged him away “You should look where you go. Don’t start bumping into random people like that.” said Yerin teasing him as they walked away.

“He’s so irritating!! Of course all of that girl friends are so impolite just like her!” said Yuju frustrated before looking at SinB. “You still friend with her?!” she asked frowning but got no answer from SinB. “Yah, SinB, I’m talking to you ar!” insisted Yuju raising her voice a bit, this time bringing SinB back on earth.

“Huh? What did you say?” asked SinB focusing her attention back to Yuju.

“I ask if you are still friend with that chemistry girl! I told you to cut her off!” said Yuju irritate that SinB wasn’t paying attention to what she said.

SinB shook her head. “No...we are not…..” she gulped, why is it so hard to say it... “Friend anymore...” SinB finishes her sentence slowly.

Yuju nodded happy hearing that and slowly walked away then turned around when she heard Eunha. “SinB! Why are you crying?!” asked the short girl worried.

Sowon went beside SinB and started to wipe her tears away. Yuju quickly walked back to SinB “What’s wrong? Did that guy hurt you very badly? Let me see where does it hurt?” asked Yuju worriedly.

SinB just shook her head. “Mianhe, I’m not feeling well...I will head home for the day.” said SinB then she walked away.

The girls just stared at her and shrugged. Sowon was looking at SinB and frowned, she really hated seeing her friend like that... After class, Eunha asked the girls if they wanted to do something but Sowon frowned.

“Why are you frowning giraffe?” asked Eunha hitting Sowon’s arm playfully.

“I’m thinking to go see SinB…” explained Sowon seriously and Eunha nodded.

“Yeah..she didn’t look good, maybe we should go pay her a visit…” said Eunha before looking at Yuju.

“What?” asked Yuju confusedly.

“You will come?” asked Sowon looking at Yuju expectantly.

“Where?” asked Yuju arching an eyebrow.

Sowon sighed and shook her head slowly. “To see SinB ar, she didn’t look good before.” she repeated.

Yuju stared at Sowon. “Hm… she’s probably just sick. She will get better and come to school tomorrow! Why don’t we go do something else? Knowing SinB, if we go see her she will just feel bad that we are not enjoying ourselves.” said Yuju smiling.

Eunha slowly nodded. “Maybe Yuju is right…” she said with a low voice which made Sowon shocked in disbelief.

“Yah, isn’t she your best friend? Aren’t you worry?” asked Sowon to Yuju.

Yuju stared at Sowon, a bit annoyed. “Yeah, she’s my bestie. But..I know what’s wrong with her.” she explained.

Sowon lifted her eyebrows. “Really? What?” she asked not believing Yuju.

“Probably that mean guy hurt her. It’s that guy fault.” said Yuju blaming everything on the guy.

Sowon just sighed. “Okay, then go have fun. I will go see SinB...” then she looked at Eunha. “Are you coming with me?” she asked hope in her voice. Eunha stared at Sowon then at Yuju, not knowing what to do.

“I will go with Yuju…” said Eunha with an hesitation. “SinB is more close to you. If I’m there, she probably won’t tell you what’s wrong…” she added looking straight in Sowon’s eyes. Sowon nodded and they each went their separate way.

As Sowon got to SinB’s house, she rang the doorbell but no one was answering. She sighed, she was pretty sure SinB was in there. She took out her phone and started to text.

“I need your help…”

“??” was the only reply Sowon got.  

Sowon smiled and typed another message. “Can you please come to SinB house ASAP”

“Okay, I’m coming!”

Sowon smiled even more, she was happy that she was now friend with someone that doesn’t always need explanation to come to help her.
