SinB and Yerin were walking arms linked to the dance school, SinB was a little nervous, she knew Jiyoon really wanted her in the showcase but she was still unsure if she was able to do it.

They arrived there quickly and walked to Jiyoon’s office. SinB knocked and waited for an answer.

“I will check how r the preparation going, message me when you’re done so I will take you back to your house.” said Yerin and SinB nodded before hearing Jiyoon telling her to enter the office.

Jiyoon smiled as she saw her. “Hello SinB, glad you could come this soon.” said Jiyoon pointing to the chair in front of her desk. “So, I wanted to talk with you about the showcase, I know you’re very busy but we really really want you in it, at least for one performance.” said Jiyoon and SinB stayed silent.

“We casted students for the solo part and for the group part, we have many classes doing representations too but I was really hoping you would at least work with us to do a duo dance.” explained Jiyoon seriously. “It won’t be complicated but we need someone with enough experiences with dancing, someone like you that put emotions in the dance. And also someone that can also sing pretty well and you fit those expectation pretty well SinB”

SinB cleared . “A duo?” she asked with a hoarse voice.

Jiyoon nodded. “You two will dance and sing, it will be an amazing representation, it’s a dance I created and the song is written by Gayoon. We are really working hard on this performance, and I would be really happy if you would agree to participate only for this.” almost begged the teacher. “SinB you are so talented, I don’t think anyone in this school would be good enough to do it, that’s why I really insist and hope you will think about it.”

SinB looked down hesitating.

Jiyoon stood up and put her hand on SinB’s shoulder making the girl tense but then relax a little seeing it was only her teacher.

“You don’t have to give me an answer now, you have till the end of the week, then next week the training and rehearsals will start for everyone.” explained Jiyoon and SinB nodded.

“I will think about it.” said SinB hesitating. “Who will dance this duo with me...?” she asked shyly. SinB wasn’t sure she would be able to dance with someone she didn’t know, some stranger, touching her holding her, staring at her… Her heart almost missed a beat at the thought.

Jiyoon sighed. “We are not sure, we asked two very talented dancer and singer, but we are  waiting for their answer, we will know at the end of the week too.” she said and SinB nodded before standing up.

“Thank you for thinking about me for this project, I will think about it seriously and give you an answer quickly.” said SinB already knowing she would say no, there was no way she would dance with someone else. A solo performance at least could be possible if she was able to face her fear and show herself to the public but a duo… no.

SinB said goodbye to her teacher and got out of the office, she wondered how her legs were able to carry her since they were trembling.

She walked a little away and sat on a bench in the school hallway, she took her phone out and texted Yerin telling her she would be waiting for her.

As she put her phone back in her pocket she heard someone yelling her name. She turned around and saw Yejun with his dad. She stood up and Yejun walked to her, he suddenly seemed sad again, probably remembering how SinB disappointed him last time.

SinB bowed politely to Yerin’s uncle and patted Yejun’s head but the boy hide behind his dad legs.

“Here for the showcase?” asked the man smiling and SinB smiled back at him. He got the same eyesmile as Yerin, or more like Yerin got the same as him. SinB wondered if he was the brother of one of Yerin’s parent. Their eyesmile was so similar.

Yejun got out of his hiding place and pointed at SinB. “No! she won’t dance this time! She broke her promise!” he said angrily and SinB swallowed hard.

Yejun’s dad patted his head. “Yejun calm down, who taught you to talk like that to someone?” scolded his dad and SinB felt guilty even more.

The man looked back at SinB. “You came to talk to Jiyoon?” he asked and SinB nodded. “She told me about her project, it’s really good, and she really wants you to be a part of it, she really admire you a lot.” he explained. “I think a lot of people admire you SinB, you are very talented.” he complimented her.

“Thank you…” shyly said SinB blushing, she wasn’t really used to receive compliments.

“We would all be very happy if you were with us for the showcase.” he said before patting Yejun’s head again. “Especially this one.” he added and SinB felt stuck.

“I will do my best to not disappoint anyone…” she said looking down.

“So will noona come? Will noona keep her promise?” asked Yejun looking up at her with so much hope and expectation.

SinB hesitated. “I … I…” she really didn’t want to see this hurt look on the boy’s face again. “I will try my best to be able to participe…” she finally said and Yejun smiled.

“So can we count on you?” asked Yejun’s dad smiling too. “Jiyoon will be so happy.” he said clearly as much excited as Yejun.

“Uncle?” asked Yerin walking to them. “What’s going on?” she asked seeing her family overly excited around SinB.

“Noona will dance for the showcase!” yelled Yejun happily as he hugged SinB who looked at Yerin wide eyes.

“I… I said I would do my best to be able to participate…” repeated SinB but for the boy it was a yes already and SinB felt like she got stabbed in the stomach. How would she survive this…

The walk to SinB’s house was silent. Yerin took SinB’s hand and hold it gently. “You will be okay? I’m sorry my uncle and Yejun cornered you like that… You can still tell him no you know…” said Yerin sincerely

“How can I now that Yejun was so happy about it… he was so mad at me before and now he hugged me again…” said SinB thinking about the young boy.

“You can’t force yourself just for him… especially if you have to do a duo…” said Yerin and SInB looked at her.

“You knew?” asked SinB frowning.

Yerin nodded. “It’s been some days now that Jiyoon and Gayoon are talking about it…” confessed Yerin.

SinB looked down. “How can I dance with a stranger… Plus I’m pretty sure it’s boy, I won’t be able to let him get near me Yerin…”

Yerin squeezed SinB’s hand. “Well I heard them saying they have 2 choices. One is a a guy and the other one is a girl but were waiting for their answer so maybe you will dance with a girl.” said Yerin hoping it would make SinB feel better.

“Let’s hope it will be a girl even if I’m not sure I would be able to do it anyway…”

Yerin hesitated. “Maybe you should train with Umji and Sowon, dance some couple dance with them to get used to have someone so close to you or even to touch you while you dance…” said Yerin and SinB tensed up. “I don’t know what Jiyoon created for the dance but it won’t be you two just dance beside each other, I bet it will be a real complex couple dance…” said Yerin so SinB would be aware of everything waiting for her.

They walked to SinB’s house and SInB find the door locked. It looked like her parents were not here. She took her keys out and opened. She invited Yerin in and offered her a drink.

“I thought your parents were back.” said Yerin looking all around.

SinB shook her shoulders and took her phone out seeing a massage from her mother saying they were stuck at the office with lot of work and would be home very late.

“They are stuck at work.” said SinB sadly.

“Want me to stay a little with you or will Sowon and Umji arrive soon?” asked Yerin worried to leave SinB alone.

SinB looked down. “Umji’s with her family and Sowon’s at work she will arrive later.” explained SinB.

“Then I will stay here a little if you don’t mind.” smiled Yerin and SinB smiled a bit.

“Of course I don’t mind.” she said then Yerin took her hand and took her upstairs. SinB let Yerin guide her.

“What are you doing?” asked SinB and Yerin pulled her in front before putting her hands on SinB’s face to hide where she was taking her.

They finally stopped and SinB could feel Yerin’s breath on her neck and her ear. “One, two three!” said Yerin taking her hands away from SinB’s eyes but squeezing her cheeks and making a face. SinB found herself facing a mirror showing Yerin’s sticking her tongue out and her, one funny face as Yerin was squeezing her face making her look like a fish.

SinB giggled and Yerin smiled before hiding SinB’s face again. “Ready, i want to see your best funny face.” said Yerin in SinB’s ear, still standing behind the girl. SinB nodded slowly and Yerin counted again.

“One, two, three!” said Yerin taking her hands away and making another face while looking at SinB’s reflexion making a very funny face too.

They did that many times till Yerin didn’t hide SinB’s eyes. SinB realised she was standing in front of the mirror with Yerin and didn’t feel as terrible as before, she was actually feeling good, they had a good laugh and now she would see a mirror she would probably think about Yerin making faces with her.

SinB stared at her reflection, silent and clearly thinking. Yerin put her hands on SinB’s shoulder and looked at her eyes in the mirror.

“You okay?” asked Yerin worried and SinB nodded still staring at Yerin in the eyes through the mirror then SinB turned around and hugged Yerin’s tightly.

Yerin was a little surprised but hugged SinB back. Neither of them said anything, they just hugged each other.

Yerin finally broke the embrace and pinched SinB’s cheeks while smiling. “Next time we could do that in the dancing room, with the girls, what do you think?” asked Yerin and SinB nodded before looking at herself in the mirror again. The thoughts she had about Jackson as she was seeing herself were now replaced by an happy feeling warming her stomach.

She looked at Yerin again through the mirror and smiled as Yerin made a funny cute face at her again and Sinb answered her with a funny face too.

Hello! Sorry for the late posting again >__

How was this?? Poor SinB got stuck with Yerin uncle and Yejun-  How do you think SinB will manage to face her fear? Will she be able to manage or will she run away from this? 

Yerin bringing SinB to make faces in front of the mirror :P was it cute? Did you guys enjoy that SinRin moment ;)
