The next day, Umji was awoken by SinB’s phone vibration. She took a look and saw that SinB was still deeply asleep so she checked the caller ID, it was Jiyoon unnie. She took the phone and tiptoe out of their room to pick.

“Hello?” said Umji.

“Hello? Hm, SinB? Is that you? Did I get the wrong number…?” asked Jiyoon on her own clearly confused as she didn't recognize SinB’s voice.

Umji giggled. “Good morning Jiyoon unnie, this is Umji speaking. SinB is still sleeping.” explained politely Umji to the teacher.

“Oh!! Good morning Umji ar. How are you?” asked immediately Jiyoon.

“I’m okay… you?”

“I’m excited I wanted to talk to SinB!” answered the woman and Umji could imagine her jumping with excitement.

Umji laughed a little. “Do you want me to wake her up?” asked Umji, unsure, since SinB could have a good sleep, she didn’t really want to wake her up.

“Oh, hmm it’s okay. You can ask her to call me back? It’s about the showcase.” explained Jiyoon.

Umji suddenly felt worry for SinB especially after hearing what Yerin said the previous night.

“Oh, what about the showcase? Can you tell me a bit about it? I’m curious!” exclaimed Umji faking to be excited.

“Oh! Of course I can tell you about it! I let the members and teacher know that SinB will be back performing for us and everyone was so excited. I wanted SinB to come here and announce it to the kids. I’m so sure they will be even more excited!” said Jiyoon happily.

“Oh… is it a solo performance?” asked Umji.

“That’s for sure. We were also throwing idea out that SinB could have a duo performance or even performance in a group if you or Sowon would like to join again!” said Jiyoon.

Umji was worry for the duo one, but she wasn’t sure what to say. “Ah...cool. I will let SinB know and have her call you back Jiyoon unnie.”

Then before she could finish the sentence she hears the door behind her open.

“Umji ar? Who you talking to? Isn’t that my phone?” asked SinB with a sleepy voice while yawning.

Umji smiled at SinB cuteness. “Ne...it’s Jiyoon unnie..”

Then Umji hears Jiyoon on the phone “Is that SinB? She’s awake? That’s great! Can I talk to her?” asked the teacher quickly.

Umji frowned, she wanted to have the time to talk to SinB first but it was too late. So she passed the phone to SinB with a worry eyes in which SinB failed to see.

“Hello?” said SinB with her hoarse voice.

“Good morning ar SinB! It’s about the school showcase that I mentioned to you last time. Do you think you can come? I’d like you to announce it to the kids. They are all excited when they heard the possibility of you coming back to perform. And I think it would be a great motivation for them if you come.”

SinB was just holding the phone all excitedly, hearing the kids and dancing again. “Oh really? Yeah no problem! I will see you guys later!” then they hung up.

Umji looked at SinB with widen eyes. “You… are doing it?”

SinB looked at Umji confusedly. “Yeah, Jiyoon unnie says the kids would be very happy to see me back!” she smiled really happy to think about the kids.

Umji looked at SinB, not sure if SinB realized what did she sign herself up for.

Umji sighed. “You do know that you will be with a lot of people and performing in stage right...” asked Umji calmly then as soon as Umji finished her sentence SinB looked down.

“I… I know but I want to keep doing the things I like… I miss the dance school… And I don’t want to disappoint Jiyoon and the kids...” said SinB sadly. “I’m not sure I will be able to do it but I want to try…”

Umji sighed.

“What do I do buddy….?” asked SinB frowning.

“We will go together and we will see how it is. If you do not want to do it, then you will have to tell Jiyoon unnie ok?” said Umji as it was the best things to do.

SinB nodded. “But… what would be my excuse if I panic or something…?” asked SinB not wanting to worry her teacher.

Umji sighed. “I will think about it… for now, do you need to sleep some more?” asked Umji as she caressed SinB’s hair slowly with a worry face.

SinB shook her head. “Their class will start in few hours. Let’s go there first?” she proposed unsure.

Umji nodded. “Okay, go get ready then.” said Umji and SinB went back in her room.

After awhile, they got ready and decided to grab food on the way there. As they were waiting for the bus, Umji’s phone was ringing.

“Good morning Yerin.” said Umji while SinB was looking at her and frowned. “SinB? Yes. She’s beside me. We are heading to the music school. Really? Ne. Alright, we will see you soon.” said Umji, then they hung up.

“Waeyo buddy? Why you frowning?” asked Umji putting her phone back into her pocket.

“How come Yerin call you… and not me… first…” pouted SinB which made Umji giggle.

“Yerin said she tried calling you but you didn’t pick up so she thought you were still sleeping  you pabo!” laughed Umji then SinB quickly took her phone out and then pout.

“I put it back into silent…”

Umji shook her head but smiled. “The bus is here, you go up first.” she said, SinB nodded and went up. It was still very early so there wasn’t much people. SinB went to sit in a backseat while Umji joined her.

“Umji ar, don’t you need to study? You’ve been spending so much time with me this days…” said SinB, guilty. Usually, Umji would study a lot or more like both of them would study a lot together but lately, they haven’t really had the time to sit down to study.

Umji shook her head. “I study at night when you are sleeping. Don’t worry about me. What about you? Are you going to be okay to catch up on your classes?” asked Umji, this time worry since both of their parents are pretty strict on their mark.

“I should study soon. Final exams are coming…” she said in a sigh then she looked out the window and remained silent.

“Waeyo?” asked Umji, feeling something off.

“Just thinking how would Yuju do in her exams… she has a lot of trouble in the classes we are together…” frowned SinB which made Umji smile. SinB was always such a nice and caring girl, even though Yuju hurt her so much, she was still worry about the girl.

Umji slowly patted SinB’s head in which she flinched slightly, but it was a lot better than before. “Don’t worry too much buddy. She managed to get into university. She will manage on her own.” said Umji wanting to reassuring SinB who looked at Umji and nodded.

As they got down the bus stop, they went to a fast-food restaurant to grab a burger. SinB was munching it happily while sitting at a bench near the school. After a few minutes of eating, Umji smiled, as she saw Yerin arriving behind SinB. But then as soon as Umji realized, she wanted to stop what Yerin was doing.

But it was too late and Yerin jumped onto SinB from the back. “GOOD MORNING MY PRINCESS!!!” said Yerin laughing in which SinB jumped up but as soon as she recognized the familiar scent, she calm down and just turned around.

“Yerin ar, you scared me!”

Umji was surprised, she was expecting a bigger reaction from SinB. Then Yerin just smiled at SinB. “Hehe, did I scare you?” she asked sitting down beside SinB.

SinB nodded. “Yeah a lot... I was scared who would it be…” said SinB looking down before looking up at Yerin and smiling a bit. “But I quickly recognized you.”

Yerin eyes widened. “Oh mo! Mianhe SinB! I shouldn’t have!” finally said Yerin realizing she made a mistake. “I was just so excited to see you…”

Umji shook her head and giggled. “Well, it seems like our SinB is more and more used to us two now.” said Umji with a proud expression on her face then SinB smiled back and nodded.

“Which mean…” started Umji as she smirked making SinB stare at her. “WE CAN JUMP ON HER!!!” finished Umji laughing while jumping on SinB and they all laughed together at their silliness.

“How come you are here Yerin ar?” asked SinB.

Yerin smiled. “Well a showcase is coming up so of course I would be here being a slave you know.” she winked at SinB but the latter frowned. “Why are you pouting princess?” asked Yerin.

“Nothing…” answered SinB shortly which made Yerin giggle and wrap SinB’s head around her arms. “Is my princess upset that I didn’t let her know about the showcase?” asked Yerin then SinB nodded.

“Mianhe, I wasn’t sure if you would be up for it. I was going to tell you when it’s closer to the showcase but didn’t know that you would be joining.” explained Yerin sincerely.

SinB nodded but still pouted. Yerin giggled again. “Alright, I’ll cook you spaghetti tonight?” winked Yerin and then SinB smiled and nodded.

“Promise!” which made both Umji and Yerin laughed.

Umji smirked and sighed dramatically. “SinB is such a piggy. Just feed her food and she will be happy!” she said and Yerin nodded agreeing while SinB was pouting again.

“But food is yummy….” said SinB with a cute pouty face then they all laughed.

After a few more minutes, they decided to go into the building. SinB walked directly to Jiyoon office to let her know of her presence.

“SinB ar! You are here! As early as I expected!” said Jiyoon while walk toward SinB to pat her head but SinB automatically went behind Umji which made Umji smile uncomfortably. Jiyoon was confused but decided not to say anything.

“So SinB, is there any song that you want to perform?” asked Jiyoon then SinB looked at Jiyoon and shook her head. “Not really.”

“Don’t worry about it i’m sure you will think of something. So, we were thinking that you could do a solo performance, a duo performance and even a group performance if you want! remember the time where you danced and performed? You had so much fun!” said Jiyoon excitedly which made SinB felt the same too.

“Yeah! It was very fun!!”

“If SinB were to perform a solo stage. Do you still think she should do a group or even duo?” asked Umji voicing out then SinB finally realized.

“Wait… duo? With who?” asked SinB.

“Yeah Jiyoon unnie, I think SinB would be tired if she does all those no?” said Yerin not wanting Jiyoon to mention Jackson. A solo performance, SinB would handle it, especially if they all supported her but a duo… with Jackson… there was no way SinB could do that.

“I personally think SinB can handle it. She’s a pro.” smiled Jiyoon in which made SinB smile too. She felt contented when her teacher call her a pro.

“Oh it’s time for class. SinB, Umji and Yerin you wanna come and announce it?” asked Jiyoon and SinB nodded.

As they entered the class, all the kids looked at them happily. “SinB sunbae is here!!! Umji and Yerin sunbae too!!” they ll exclaimed smiling which made the girls smile at the energetic kids.

But then suddenly a little kid jumped into SinB which shocked her but she quickly catch the familiar figure. “Yejun ar!! You are in this class?” asked SinB smiling brightly at the little boy.

“SinB noonaaaa!!” he said all excitedly as SinB was holding him.

“SinB sunbae! Are you going to join the showcase with us?!” asked one of the kids and SinB pretended to think.

“Hmm..I don’t know… Should I?” teased SinB really happy to interact with the kids.

“Yeah!! It would be great if you come!!!” exclaimed the kids and then Yejun nudged SinB.

“Pleaseeee?” asked the little boy with a puppy eyes which made SinB smile happily and give in right away.

“Yes, I will be performing at the showcase!” she told them not able to resist those cute kids then all they could heard were the kids excitement screaming.

“Alright then, SinB you can think of what you want to do and I will start the class with the group.”

SinB nodded and left with Umji and Yerin.

As they walked out of the class, SinB spotted an empty room, she smiled and looked at the girls. “Let’s go in?” she asked excited.

Umji and Yerin looked at the happy SinB and nodded. SinB opened the door and the lights before looking around quickly. She turned around to dragged Umji and Yerin to the middle of the room but then as she turned around and looked at the mirrors. Her face became petrified and frozen.

Umji noticed it right away. “SinB?...” she asked worried.

SinB’s hands were shaking slowly and she let go of both Umji and Yerin hands. Yerin quickly went to hug SinB but SinB backed away and felt on the floor hugging herself.

Umji kneeled toward her and hugged her but SinB panicked. “No, no don’t touch me!!!” she shouted with shocking and lost expression on her face. Umji took a step back surprised by the sudden state of her best friend.

Both Yerin and Umji frowned. “But… what just happen?!” asked Umji looking at Yerin very confused and worried.

Yerin looked around then her eyes widened. ”Oh mo… I remember SinB freak out when she see herself in the mirror…” said Yerin then they look around, effectively there was mirror everywhere in the room.

Yerin lifted SinB up which made her squeal but then she hugged Yerin’s neck tightly. Yerin brought her out of the room to sit on a bench. “You feeling better?” asked Yerin in which SinB looked around and nodded. Then she started to cry.

“SinB ar, don’t cry…” smoothed Umji hugging her buddy tight, she could feel SinB tensed up again. Umji frowned, just an hour ago, everything seemed to be back on track… now everything was just back to initial problem…

“Umji ar...what am I going to do? I can’t even look at my own face… How will I practice?! How can I be a dancer if I can’t even look at the mirror to look at my own mouvements?!” cried SinB out loud. Umji and Yerin looked at each other, not knowing what to say. So both of them just pulled SinB into a tight hug hoping to calm her down.

Hello! So Some bonding moment between maknae line and Yerin. Sinb is so sweet,  she's still worry about yuju studies. 

Yejun is such a cutie isn't he <3 Jiyoon asked SinB if she could participate and SinB is freaking out once again when she's face in front of the mirror. What do you think will be her final decision? Would she be participating?
