On the way home, SinB was walking furiously beside Umji until she heard Umji giggle. She slowed down and looked beside her, seeing her best friend with a smile on her lips.

“Why are you giggling Umji?”

Umji giggled again. “Because you reacted so strongly!” said Umji clearly surprised by SinB’s reaction earlier in front of Yuju.

SinB frowned. “What? How can you laugh about that!! Yuju was insulting you!!” said SinB a little mad about all this.

Umji smiled at SinB. “You are just taking it in the worst way...” she said nicely.

“What are you talking about? She said no guy would hit on you!” answered SinB wide eyes. How could Umji take this so lightly, SinB knew Umji was nice but she couldn’t let people insult her.

“No SinB, she said those 3 guys weren’t hitting on me...” explained Umji clarifying the situation but then SinB puffed her cheek.

“Fine, I just didn’t like how she was talking to you…” said SinB looked down.

Umji smiled and pulled her toward her for a hug. “I know, I know buddy. Thank you. But, I am proud of you.” she added tightening the hug.

SinB was confused as they broke the hug slowly, she just kinda got scolded by Umji saying she took it in the wrong way and now she was saying she was proud of her?

Umji giggled at SinB confused face. “Because, you are standing up for me. You talk back to Yuju and you clearly stated what you had in your mind. You were so cool!” explained Umji happily. “If she says she’s uncomfortable then she is uncomfortable. When someone is uncomfortable, doesn’t mean it’s because they get hit on you know?! Do you need a device to show you how a person is uncomfortable?!” said Umji pretending to be SinB which made SinB blush.

“Yahhhh! Stop bullying me!” said SinB pouting now.

“How is that bully? I am praising you! Really buddy. You finally start speaking up your mind!” said Umji putting her arm around SinB’s shoulder and pulling her closer to her.

SinB smiled and relaxed feeling safe under her best friend’s arm. “I guess, because she was talking bad about you that I can’t let her do so...And also, I was already upset that Jackson came and she even brought more strangers into the house without letting Sowon know...it’s so disrespectful…” said SinB as she frowned.

Umji nodded. “Yeah..that too..but are you going to apologized to Yuju?”she asked unsure.

“Why should I?!” asked SinB still mad at Yuju for acting like that, it wasn’t like her at all...

Umji arched an eyebrow. “This sound like you are breaking your friendship with her man…”

SinB looked down. “No..I’m not…”

Umji sighed and patted her back. “Your decision buddy. I’m here for you.” she said with a reassuring tone in which SinB nodded.

As they reached the house, Umji decided to stay a bit there. SinB’s parents would be home late and since their afternoon was ruined they could at least try to enjoy this day together.

“Umji ar!!! Guess what?!” asked SinB very excited suddenly.

Umji looked at SinB scared.“What?!”

“WE CAN GO DOWN!!!” exclaimed SinB jumping up and down happily.

Umji eyes widened and a big smiled grew on her lips. “Really?! The basement is fix?!” she answered as enthusiasm as SinB.

SinB nodded happily. “Yes!!!! Want to check it out?!” she asked in which Umji immediately nodded.

“Of course!!!” she answered, she had missed this room, it has been months now that SinB’s dad and his friends started the renovation. To be honest this room it was like their secret place, Umji was one of the rare people allowed to enter this dancing room.

Both of them quickly ran to the basement. SinB opened the door so Umji could enter and see the room. “Wowwwwww!! It’s even more prettier than before! Actually it’s so much more prettier than before!! Like an upgrade!!” said Umji excitedly as she ran and slided on the floor like they did as kids all the time.

SinB giggled and slided with her until both of them decide to sit down.

“Seriously SinB! It’s so beautiful!! Appa must have pay a fortune for this!!!” said Umji seeing the quality of the floor and mirror and all those decoration. It used to be a simple empty room that SinB and her dad used to dance all the time but now it was a real dancing room.

SinB smiled “I think so too. But this mean, we can start dancing like we used to!” she said as she dragged Umji up. “You up for some dancing time?” asked SinB with puppy eyes.

Umji smiled and nodded. “Anything for you.” she answered happily.

SinB walked toward the machine and put on the music then come back to Umji and they started to do their warm up and finally did some dancing.

After awhile, they finally lay down from exhaustion. Umji turned her head and looked at SinB, the girls had red cheek and she was breathing fast. umji guessed she must be as red as SinB from all that dancing.

“Fewww that was fun!! It’s been a while!!” said Umji in which SinB looked at her too and nodded.

“Yeah, last time we did that was at the showcase. Weeks ago?” asked SinB then this time Umji nodded.

“Yeah, so much happened since then…” said Umji turning her head and looking at the ceiling.

SinB nodded. “Yeah, Yuju got a boyfriend, then I’ve been avoiding her and I hung out with Yerin again...” said SinB as she sighed slowly.

Umji sat up and looked at SinB. “Hung out with Yerin? When is that? How come I didn’t know? Yah!!” said Umji  as she took SinB’s arm and pulled her up so she could sat too.

SinB gave hard time to Umji before finally sitting too, facing her best friend and laughing.“Whatttt! I was going to tell you today!!!” said SinB but Umji puffed her cheek like a sulking kid. “Mianhe Umji arrrrr!!!” begged SinB.

“Fine, tell me what did you girls do? Are you friends now?” asked Umji curious and happy. She found that Yerin was a very good girl from the interactions they had those days, it was a disappointment that their friendship was broken up.

“We were supposed to hang out with Sowon but then Yuju showed up. Long story short, so she decided to just go home then I felt bad and I kinda ..wanted to hang out with her so I asked her to hang out the next day just two of us. And, we came to my house and we came down here..” suddenly frowned SinB.

“Why are you frowning?” asked Umji arching an eyebrow.

“I think I kinda forced her to dance and I hurt her feelings.” confessed SinB realising it wasn’t her best move… Umji was glaring at her. “Waeyo!! I didn’t mean to!!!” frowned SinB.

Umji sighed loudly and rolled her eyes. “SinB, you have to notice more of people feelings you know? It’s something you don’t always have. You talk and do thing that you want to do when you are excited. It’s not a bad thing but it’s also not always a good thing.” explained Umji nicely, hoping her friend would grow from this.

SinB nodded. “Yeah, I only noticed when she finally told me that she really didn’t want to dance. After that I didn’t ask her anymore!! Then we hung out more. Oh we watched a movie too! It was fun!” explained SinB smiling.

Umji smirked at her.  “You girls watched a movie, or SHE watched a movie while you were sleeping?” asked Umji teasing the girl.

SinB glared at Umji. “Yah!” she yelled as she hit Umji’s arm playfully then both of them laughed. After a moment Umji looked at SinB more serious.“But, SinB? You brought her down here?! I’m surprise. I thought here is a sacred place for just you and your dad.” asked Umji knowing SinB wouldn’t let anyone enter this room.

SinB stared at Umji. “True...I wonder why...I guess I trust her? I don’t know..I didn’t even think of it…” said SinB sincerely.

Umji giggled “I remember when we were younger, when our friends came and they wanted to go down you were like NOO NOT ALLOWED!! then you would even get mad when they tried to go down.” said Umji laughing at the memories. Umji would feel so special that she was the only one that SinB would let come down there.

SinB giggled. “Well...it’s the only time and place where I have daddy for my own. And it’s kinda like my personal place?” explained SinB. “I only share this place with special people for me, like you!” she added with a smile for her best friend.

Umji nodded with a smile too then she heard SinB’s phone vibrate. SinB quickly took it out and smiled.

“Who is it?” asked Umji curious.

“Oh, it’s Yerin. She said she’s bored.” explained SinB while replying her back.

Umji smiled at her. “Do you want to ask her to come over?”

SinB looked at Umji. “Can I?” she asked looking straight in Umji’s eyes.

“Why not? It’s your house.” said Umji giggling at how stupid her best friend was sometimes.

“Oh..true..but we just hung out not long ago, would she be up for it?” wondered SinB unsure.

Umji sighed and shook her head. “NOW YOU THINK TOO MUCH!!! If she’s busy she will decline your offer!” said Umji and SinB frowned.

“Wae you yell at me..” asked SinB with a puppy sad face.

“Because you are so dumb!” laughed Umji. SinB sulked then message Yerin.

“Do you want to come over?”

“Where?” answered Yerin. SinB smiled at the answer and typed a response.

“*Roll eyes* my house obviously!” send SinB smiling.

“Hahaha, sure! I will be there in a bit!” replied quickly Yerin.

Then SinB smile and looked at Umji. “She’s coming!” she announced excited.

Umji smiled. “Cool! Buddy! One last dance then we go up?” she asked.

SinB nodded happily.“Sure!!”

Then they put on the music and danced some more until Yerin arrival.
