Lunch was a mess. It was a total disaster and Tiffany just had to sit there, watch the chaotic scene unfold at each passing second. To her left was her trusty assistant who was sipping her coffee in peace like it was a typical quiet Sunday noon. Right across the table were Taeyeon and Yoona who were arguing something about jams and toasts. And really, Tiffany didn’t give a damn about it at first but it escalated quickly and she had to grab her girlfriend’s arm before she could stab her cousin right in the head with the butter knife.
Now that the two were seated apart, everything was peaceful again. Yoona silently ate her food while Taeyeon sunk into her seat, sulking, after Tiffany gave her a piece of her mind about stabbing people in such public place. As she looked around the table, intently observing each and every one of them, Tiffany couldn’t help but wonder if this was how it’s like to be a mother. Dealing with three personalities, very different personalities she might add. A few more minutes of just staring at the people around her, she had made up her mind. It was too soon. Maybe she should think about it thoroughly again.
“Hey.” The light nudge on her arm snapped her out of her thoughts. “Are you okay?”
“What?”
“Are you sick or something?” Taeyeon poked her cheek gently.
“I’m fine.” Tiffany smiled at the cute gesture before turning to the other two but found them missing. “Where’s everyone?”
“They just left.” She scooted closer and looked at her intently. “Are you sure you’re okay?” Tiffany would’ve laughed at her girlfriend’s worried face but decided against it and pecked her lips instead. “Ew, your lips are oily! Go away!”
“What are you talking about?” Tiffany absently wiped with the napkin. “I ate fruits.” She giggled when those cute brown eyes widen for a second.
“. Stupid.” Taeyeon grumbled while standing up, only to be pulled back into her seat.
“Where are you going?”
“Home.”
“You’re going to ditch me?” Tiffany stared at her frowning girlfriend who was clearly trying to get rid of her reddening cheeks.
“So what?”
“Why do you always have to run away when you say something embarrassing?”
“Because it’s embarrassing?” Taeyeon turned to look at her with utter disbelief.
“Then you should think before you speak.” Tiffany poked her chin.
“Think before you speak…” Her immature of a girlfriend echoed sarcastically before standing up. “I’m leaving.” She frantically rummaged through her wallet and slammed the bills on the table. “You’re paying!”
“What…?” She stared at the money lying innocently on the table and turned to follow Taeyeon with her eyes. The girl was grumbling on her way out and almost tripped that made Tiffany laugh. “I can’t believe I’m marrying that little ball of grumpiness.” She chuckled at the thought and quickly got up to run after her girlfriend.
