The door was slammed closed and Tiffany was now left with her fidgeting ex-boyfriend. Taehyung tried to fix his shirt before slowly turning to Tiffany who was trying her best not to snap. “Um… Hi Fany…?” The moment those words came out, he received a few slaps and punches along his shoulders and arms.
“Why?!”
“W-what…?”
“Why would you do that?!” Tiffany stopped her attacks and stared at him for a moment. “You knew I loved you so much and you… You just had to…” She tried to hold her tears but failed miserably when Taehyung engulfed her in a hug.
“I know. I’m the worst.” He chuckled awkwardly as he brushed her hair gently. “I’m so sorry.”
“I hate you.” She said in between sobs.
“Hate me all you want. I totally deserve that.” Taehyung pulled away and held her tear streaked face. “I’m really sorry, Fany. I know I was being crazy and all. But hey…” He wiped her cheeks with a small smile on his face. “Look on the bright side! You met Taeyeon!”
Tiffany was still pissed off but she couldn’t help but smile a little when he gave her that all too familiar silly grin.
“I know she will treat you the best.” His grin turned into a warm smile when he saw her cheeks turn a light shade of pink. “She loves you a lot.”
“I know.” She mumbled quietly.
“Good.” Taehyung patted her head lightly. “Again, I’m sorry for trying to get away from you like that. I guess I wasn’t prepared for a long term commitment back then. I hope you can forgive me.”
Tiffany let out a deep sigh before pulling away the hands holding her face. “Alright.” She looked at him intently. “I’m sorry too.”
“For what? You did nothing wrong.”
“I feel like I suffocated you.”
“Maybe just a little.” Taehyung shrugged nonchalantly and earned himself a light shove on his shoulder.
“Stop fooling around.”
“Okay, okay. Apology accepted.” He grinned childishly. “I guess that’s the end of our story…?”
“What?” Tiffany looked at him in confusion.
“You know, end of our love story? Closure? Whatever.” He waved his hand dismissively. “Anyway, I think you should get going now.” He pointed at the closed door. “She’s been waiting for a while.”
Tiffany looked at the door before turning back. “Alright.”
“Oh, wait.”
“Hm?”
“I’m glad you found your happy ending, Fany. Like you’ve always wanted.” Taehyung said with all sincerity that made her heart swell.
“Thank you.” Tiffany tried to ignore her reddening face and gave him a quick hug before leaving.
