“Hello?”
“What? Why are you calling?” Taeyeon’s annoyed voice rang into the phone.
“Are you busy?”
“If this isn’t important then please end this call. I have things to do.”
Tiffany heard some shuffling of papers from the other line and sighed. “Can I come over to your place tonight?”
“What? Wait. Hold on.” She waited patiently for a full minute before Taeyeon came back. “You were saying?”
“Can I come over to your place tonight?”
“Why?”
“Because I haven’t seen you for the entire week.” Tiffany heard a deep sigh through the phone and for some reason, it made her smile.
“I told you, I’m very busy.” Taeyeon said half annoyed and half apologetic.
“I know. But I just can’t help it.” Tiffany bit her lip and took in a deep breath. “I missed you so much, Taeyeon-ah…” The line went silent and she had to look at her phone to check if the call was ended. “Baby?”
“What?”
“Can I?”
“Not tonight.”
“Alright.”
“Wait, wait!” Taeyeon almost yelled from the other line.
“What?”
“Um…” She coughed awkwardly. “How about dinner? Thursday? Yeah… Thursday…”
The nervousness in the girl’s voice was very evident that made Tiffany giggle. “Are you asking me out on a date?”
“Shut up.” By now, Taeyeon must be furiously blushing.
“You know I won’t.” Tiffany teased some more, loving every second of it.
“Fine.” Taeyeon said exasperatedly. “Will you go out with me this Thursday?” She asked monotonously.
“This Thursday…?” She hummed through the phone as she pretended to think.
“Just answer already.”
“Alright.” Tiffany answered with a giggle. “Do I have to dress up?”
“I don’t know? Wear whatever you want.”
“Oh. Then something easy to take off then?” She purposely lowered her voice to sound provocative.
“SHUT UP!”
Taeyeon’s panicked voice was enough for her to feel better. “Alright, alright. I will shut it now. So I’ll see you on Thursday?”
“Hm.”
“Okay! Can’t wait to see you.” Tiffany said with a smile.
“Okay.” The line went completely silent again and she had to recheck her phone.
“Baby?”

“Hang up.”
“You’re the one who called. So you hang up.” Taeyeon said in an annoyed tone.
“Okay, then I’m hanging up now.”
“Wait, wait!” Taeyeon yelled this time to stop her from hanging up.
“Hm?”
“Imissedyoutooloveyoubye.” Taeyeon said in one breath before hanging up. Tiffany stared at her phone after the call was ended with the biggest smile on her face that afternoon.
