Red Skys and Royal Cards“Hyung, what happened to you?” Kai snickered as the two of us walked into the living room where everyone was gathered.
He wasn’t the only one that was trying to hide their laughter. All of them at least had little smirks on their faces, a few didn’t even bother to hide how much glee they got out of this. Suho had a large grin gracing his lips and Xiumin wasn’t far behind him.
“This isn’t funny.” Chen growled at everyone, but we all had to disagree with him. It wasn’t funny, it’s hilarious. Chen is soaking wet but he’s the only thing getting wet from his storm.
“Suho, stop okay? He’s had enough.” I said between giggles.
Listening to me, Suho made the cloud go away stopping all of our contributions to the storm in the process. Chen was left standing in the house with water dripping from him in rivers. I was thankful to Suho that the water his storm generated, even after finishing, never got the place wet at all.
“What did I do to you, Hyung? Seriously? What did I do to deserve this storm?” Chen whined as glared at his Hyungs.
Suho sighed, his smile at watching the younger suffer still there, “I don’t like having a pool full of water dumped on me. Don’t distract people.”
“You fell into the water, it didn’t land on you.” Chen clarified as he huffed in annoyance. “What about you, Xiumin Hyung? Why was I being pelted with those blasted ice pellets?”
Xiumin glanced his way, “Don’t eat my food.” And with that, he was off to the kitchen with Kai following behind him. I watched Kai leave since he was the next on my list to learn from; it seems he doesn’t want to start yet.
D.O clapped his hands getting the rest of our attention, “Let’s all sit and eat lunch in a half hour then disperse for the day.” Not getting any refusals from the rest of us, he made his way into the kitchen.
Kai and Xiumin came out not long later with cookies. D.O clearly kicked them out as they were snaking. Plucking one of the cookies from Xiumin’s hand I ate it as he watched me with wide eyes.
“Thanks!” I said to him after I was finished.
Looking rather baffled that I ate his food i gave him a smile as I walked past him to sit down, taking one of Kai’s cookies in the process. “Hey!” He hissed as he tried to get it back.
“Don’t hog the food.” I shot back at him as I handed his cookie to Sehun. “Eat up.”
“Thank you.” Sehun said as he ate the cookie previously belonging to Kai.
I looked around at the group of boys in front of me as I took the chair D.O had been occupying before he went to fix lunch. We didn’t talk much though, and somewhere over a three-minute time frame Lay, and Tao went to help D.O make food for the thirteen of us.
“How went the morning?” Chanyeol asked leaning forward and resting his elbows on his knees.
“Productive.” I answered. “Learned Sehun and Chen’s Specialties.”
“We heard the later quite well.” Kris sighed, face as blank as always.
I stuck my tongue out, “Of course you would hear it. The whole city heard it.” I looked out at the gloomy weather still raging on outside. I would see the sky flare up a few times, no doubt Chen sill playing with his creation. “I think we can let to storm go away now guys”
Sehun sighed, “Leave it for the day. It’s a good way to let out some steam for the rest of us that can’t use our full powers all the time.”
I blinked over at them. Luhan clarified, “Suho, and Sehun use more of their full powers that other Warriors don’t have when they make storms like this. Unlike the rest of us D.O, Chanyeol, Sehun and Suho have almost the same powers as before. Using them differently is harder and like us they have to use it once in a while or things like what happened to Chanyeol will happen again.”
“But the rest of you don’t have that problem?” I asked for further clarification. I don’t want anything like what happened to Chanyeol to happen again.
“No.” Kris answered, “Our powers are different and we don’t have to change how we use them to use them as they should be. They aren't even using them close to how they can.”
