56* - Control
Red Skys and Royal CardsPart 2 - Control
Why did I ever agree to Tao’s little plan of action? It was a suicide mission for me. Kris already hates me enough as it is and now Tao is having me probably do the one thing that will piss him off even more. And not to mention the fact that the others will probably hate me as well.
Even if it is just for a few minutes.
I do not want to be on the receiving end of their anger for long. I may be able to to put up a fight against them when they are calm and are being careful, but not when they are releasing that amount of anger towards me. But for some reason, I am giving in to Tao and going along with this stupid idea of his.
The boys were still out back but had calmed down some, not enough to not look like a bunch of Warriors off looking for blood, but enough to be civil around me if I showed up. At least until I listened to Tao that is.
I have to say the longer I’m around him the more I like him. Even this plan of his is starting to grow on me. I still have my hesitations with it, but he just beams back at me and I can’t seen to say no to him. I’m usually not an aegyo , even when the others do it I don’t fall for it, but it’s harder to do that with Tao. He has a charm about him that I can’t seem to pinpoint, but it just makes him adorable in all ways.
“Here.” He said as he handed me the now empty glass case that used to hold his Card.
“Are you sure this is a good idea?” I asked him still skeptical.
“Yes, and I’ll stop them before they can harm you. And I don’t think they will, so you will be fine. Plus I want to really surprise them, so can we just go with this? Please, Sky?” , he’s pouting! What am I supposed to do now? Danm it, Tao!
Grumbling my displeasure incoherently, I let him drag me over to the bench and sat me down to explain how this was all going to work. “Tao, I’m gonna get hurt.” I whined back.
“As long as you listen to me you won’t; now pay attention. Take the case and toss it to Kris, he’s the one you will have the most trouble with but I won’t leave you on your own for long. Plus you have my Card, so if all else fails show it to him, but use that as a last resort.”
Other than that he isn’t telling me how to deal with them. All I have to do it keep them distracted while he does something that he refuses to tell me. I swear he is going to sit back and laugh at me, so maybe it is a good thing that I have his Card. Things get out of hand, I’m showing them and shutting them up.
“You really don’t want to elaborate on anything do you?” I asked him again.
“No. Now go.” He shooed me away.
Rude much, but I just listened and made my way down to the entrance out to the back. Tao had followed me but stopped before he could make it to somewhere where the others could see him. I looked back at him, he only shooed be away again and this time gave me a small push.
“Aish.” I sighed as I listened to him and made my way out to the crowd of emotionally upset boys. Chanyeol was further off to the side and seemed to have calmed down pretty well, but for how long was that going to last.
Kris was standing closest to me so I came up beside him and just stood there. His expression was a pained expression as he watched the others. His eyes were dark and filled with sadness and despair as he was trapped in his painful thoughts. The only good thing I could see coming out of this was that the boy he obviously cared about was going to be safe and back with him again.
“You shouldn’t be out here, it isn’t safe.” Kris finally spoke. His voice was empty as he watched the others continue to vent the last
