jeongguk had his doubts with all of the perfume and cologne and ruffled clothing, but he's certain whatever spark he and namjoon had is long gone when there's a fist colliding with his jaw.

namjoon's fingers graze over jeongguk's blue skin littered with black tattoos, markings of his clan, and he looks up to stare into the entrancing silver eyes that look like moons of the younger boy before smiling softly, "you're beautiful."

crack/humor

"what if smell wasn't an aroma, but actually little creatures that toss its aura around when you sniff things or something?" namjoon gives jeongguk a look over his shoulder and he's certain that the younger is listening to taehyung's mindless babbles too much.

namjoon likes keeping jeongguk's legs open with his knees as he writes lyrics against the younger's flushed skin, likes holding jeongguk's wrists against the bed so there's no touches on his skin that distract him from the expressions jeongguk makes, and definitely likes it when jeongguk breathes his name in a voice that holds a beg, a plead, for namjoon to him until he can't remember his own name just below the surface.

future fic

"hyung, am i doing the right thing?" jeongguk whispers against namjoon's neck and the blonde simply kisses his forehead and writes words on jeongguk's lower back that feel like little confessions, "going solo is a huge opportunity, jeongguk, you shouldn't feel bad for agreeing."

first time

jeongguk remembers the first time namjoon looked at him (jeongguk's face heated up and he was quick to break the eye contact), the first time namjoon spoke to him (jeongguk stuttered over every word that left his mouth making him flush brightly), the first time namjoon smiled at him (jeongguk's head went light and he may or may not have collapsed), the first time namjoon laughed at one of his dumb jokes (jeongguk felt like he won an award or something, large smile gracing his features), the first time namjoon called his name (jeongguk almost gasped), the first time namjoon said 'i love you' (jeongguk was brought to tears of joy), and the first time namjoon kissed him (jeongguk's heart kind of did a flop-like action and he was sure he was dreaming, but when namjoon did it again and again, jeongguk knew he was awake).

fluff

jeongguk can't really understand why namjoon insists on calling him handsome and beautiful every chance he gets, when namjoon's the one that has to deal with all the bull and most of the insults, but then namjoon tells him that he doesn't care what others think and jeongguk believing he's good looking is enough for him so jeongguk doesn't do anything other than curl into namjoon's side and lets the blonde comb his fingers through his hair and kiss away his tears.

namjoon remembers seeing jeongguk write a number, each one one digit lower than the previous, on every day on his calender and no matter how long he sat there staring at it, he couldn't figure out why jeongguk seemed like he was counting down, but when jeongguk's apartment is quiet and nobody answers him, he panics at the thought that comes to mind and everything comes crashing down around him when he sees jeongguk floating in water tinted red and 'i'm sorry' written in red paint on the edge of the tub (but it's not red paint, and namjoon wishes it was).

hurt/comfort

jeongguk desperately wishes he could just love himself and be happy with the skin he's in, but it's hard when there's people everywhere he goes pointing out everything wrong with him as if it's his fault for being imperfect, and , he hates crying, but he's doing it anyway and then namjoon's arms gently wrap around his shivering body, pressing gentle kisses along jeongguk's neck and shoulders because you're so perfect, jeongguk, so perfect.
