Yoongi wasn't surprised when he saw Namjoon passed out on the couch when he came home at four in the morning, but annoyed.

He was annoyed that Namjoon stayed up waiting for him to return from the studio, even though there was only a fifty percent chance of Yoongi coming home, and he was certain Namjoon had work in three hours.

Yoongi kicked off his shoes and walked over to Namjoon, staring down at him with a light glare.

He looked up and he could just barely see the top of the food he knew Namjoon cooked for him in the microwave to keep warm.

He rose a hand and slapped the back of Namjoon's head. "Why must you insist on staying up all night waiting for me?"

Namjoon jerked forward, in a sharp breath in surprise and looked around before meeting Yoongi's gaze, smiling widely. "Welcome home, hyung."

Yoongi rolled his eyes. "Don't give me that, do you know what time it is?"

Namjoon blinked a few times, pulling out his phone and tapping the screen, eyes narrowing at the light. "Four thirty in the morning."

"Exactly. You have work in three hours, you can't be sleeping in an awkward position on the couch, you need to be in the bed, and you need to sleep earlier! Stop waiting for me!" Yoongi nagged, hitting Namjoon's head again.

Namjoon pouted faintly and Yoongi's eye twitched. "But hyung... I wanted to be here when you got home.. I wanted to greet you with a smile and a hug, and food... I don't like the thought of you coming home to a quiet, dark house and having to fix yourself ramen before sleeping only to leave hours before I come back home."

Yoongi tried not to show his surprise at this answer.

"I don't get to see you if I don't stay up to meet you." Namjoon spoke quietly, gaze on the ground.

"I don't always come home until a day or two after I left." Yoongi responded, back straight.

Namjoon looked up at Yoongi, smiling. "I just want to see. It's not like you leave a note for me saying how long you'll be at the studio."

Yoongi stared at Namjoon before sighing and running a hand through his orange hair, gasping deeply when Namjoon grabbed the cloth of his shirt and tugged him down onto his lap, strong arms circling his thin waist and head on his shoulder. "Na-Namjoon?!"

"I said I wanted to give you a hug." Namjoon said, kissing Yoongi's neck lightly before raising his head to look into Yoongi's wolf-like eyes that he adored so much.

Yoongi couldn't help the light dusting that appeared on his cheeks, and it was times like this he hated he was as white as a sheet because the lightest of blushes were like pops of colour on his face.

Yoongi sighed again, cupping Namjoon's cheeks and pressing their foreheads together. "Namjoon, you have to start sleeping earlier, and in the bed. You can't go to work either tired as all hell, in pain, or both all the time. And stop cooking food for me, I'm fine with just ramen before bed."

Namjoon pouted again. "I already said I don't mind, hyung. And ramen isn't a healthy diet."

Yoongi rolled his eyes, dropping his hands and pulling away, Namjoon's arms wrapped securely around his waist keeping him from actually getting up.

"Namjoon-ah—"

"Hyung."

Yoongi rose an eyebrow; Namjoon usually lets Yoongi finish his sentences before speaking.

"You're too used to doing everything by yourself. Just relax and let me take care of you, hyung. And... and try to not block me out so much by spending your time at the studio... it's pretty lonely here without you." Namjoon spoke, face buried in Yoongi's neck to muffle his voice. He's not one for heartfelt words.

Yoongi didn't really know how to feel about this.

He'll admit he's scared of letting someone take care of him because something could happen when his guard is down. He'll admit he's scared of really letting Namjoon in, even though it's all he wants to do, he just doesn't want to hurt the younger, or be a bother. Not out loud, of course, but to himself? Sure.

"And I can help with those songs of yours." Namjoon added and Yoongi gaped. "You went through my stuff?!"

"I'm sorry! I woke up one time when you were home and I couldn't help myself!" Namjoon immediately apologized, squeezing Yoongi's waist gently.

Yoongi sighed.

He could never stay mad at Namjoon for long; he could never get truly mad at the younger either.

"Fine."

"What?" Namjoon questioned, head lifting to stare into Yoongi's narrowed eyes.

"Fine. I give up. You're too stubborn."

Namjoon blinked a few times, eyes wide before he tightened his grip on Yoongi even more and smiled widely, pressing his lips against Yoongi's.

Yoongi released a muffled sound of surprise, eyes widening for a second before smiling lightly and wrapping his arms around Namjoon's neck, returning the kiss.

Namjoon turned them slightly to press Yoongi's back against the couch, pulling away and pressing his forehead against Yoongi's. "Thank you, Yoonie-hyung."

"Don't call me that." Yoongi said with a roll of his eyes.

"Awww, hyuuuung!" Namjoon whined, nipping the tip of Yoongi's nose making Yoongi squeak and swat at his face.

"No! I gave in to you treating me like a baby and not being gone so much, I'm not let you call me 'Yoonie'!"

Namjoon rose an eyebrow. "Hyung, I'm not going to treat you like a baby," he smiled and rubbed his nose against Yoongi's, "I'm going to treat you like you're a precious doll. With light kisses and soft touches."

Yoongi found himself blushing again and glared at Namjoon. "I am not a precious doll. I won't break easily, Namjoon-ah."

Namjoon grinned, kissing Yoongi lightly. "Fine, have it your way. But I'm still going to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. Like you're the most important person."

Yoongi opened his mouth to whine again, but Namjoon kissed him again before speaking, "Because you are. To me."

Yoongi's eyes widened for a second before shoving Namjoon off of him and storming off.

"You're too damn cheesy!"
