>> vmin // fluff-ish // sentence case // 725w // trigger: injuries // a.n: aLRIGHT this is literally awful and the worst thing ive written in years, not even because i'm insecure about my writing, but because i wrote this in a handful of minutes so it's rushed as and everything moves fast, i didn't proofread, and it's overall bad, BUT i'm uploading it anyways because A) everything else i'm writing (some sugakookie and maybe yoonjin is coming!!) i either havent gotten motivation for it again yet, am stuck at a certain point, or it's just reALLY really long (legit one of them passed 14k already lm ao im so sorry) and i need to give you guys ~something~ right? and B) it's a vent through jimin because my thighs, biceps and hands are absolutely k i l l i n g me it's so hard to move im : (( and it's a vent through taehyung because im a and got hit in the face super hard (my glasses went flying lmao oops) by the handle of a tool for this ty and cheap jack that hardly worked when we were changing a flat and now the whole left side of my face is sore and my entire cheek is swollen, slightly bruised, and there's bright red marks from where the metal slammed into my face so : ) fun times. i might rewrite this whole thing later but no promises

Jimin stretches out on the couch, the cool winds from the fan pointed at him hitting his bare calves and lower thighs. He yawns briefly, channel surfing slowly as the lingering exhaustion paired with boredom weighs his body down. His limbs fell heavy, eyelids getting heavier. He pushed himself a little too hard at dance practice yesterday, his thighs rock solid to the touch from the soreness and cramping tightly at any sort of movement making it quite a chore to move. To even bend his legs at the knees hurts making him whimper and whine whenever he moves his legs.

His biceps and the backs of his hands are sore for God knows why, too. Sometimes he just randomly gets sore spots, and bruises, and cuts, and scars. He sighs quietly, pouting a little at the TV because Taehyung is at work and not here with him kissing his face and massaging his thighs for him.

Jimin thanks Jesus Christ for gracing him because right when he thinks about Taehyung, he hears the familiar jingle of keys outside the apartment door. He perks up, looking over at the door and smiling when he sees the door open and Taehyung step into the apartment.

Jimin doesn't see Taehyung's face immediately, his head ducked as he kicks off his shoes and shuts the door. When Taehyung lifts his head, Jimin's eyes widen and he sits up, completely ignoring the sharp pain in his thighs. “Jesus, baby, what happened to your face?”

Taehyung blinks a few times confusion before realizing what Jimin's talking about, smiling a little. “Got hit at work,” he shrugs, placing his keys and wallet on a table. He walks up to the couch, sitting down beside Jimin. “A customer thought I could help them with a tool even though we were clearly in the clothing section, got mad when I kept saying I can't help, started swinging the tool around and got me right in the face. Didn't even apologize.” He huffs.

Jimin frowns and gently cups Taehyung's left jaw, thumb running over the swollen and purple-tinted skin just below the even-more-swollen skin with deep red marks where the skin was scratched off. “Does it hurt?” He asks, continuing to inspect the injury.

“Well, yeah,” Taehyung nods, but then shrugs again. “But, y'know, I can deal. They hit me pretty hard, so it's going to be swollen for awhile. It mostly just stings.”

Jimin pouts lightly and drops his hand. “I don't like it when you're in pain.”

“I'm fine,” Taehyung says cutely, dragging out the I sound in 'fine' and placing his hands on Jimin's hips. He leans forward, brushing the tip of his nose against Jimin's and gently pushes Jimin down onto his back. “You still sore?”

Jimin sighs and nods, resting comfortably on his back and spreading his legs so Taehyung can fit between them. Taehyung smiles and pushes the cloth of Jimin's shorts up his legs, gently massaging the hard muscles of Jimin's thighs. Jimin tenses at first, but relaxes with a sigh and leans his head back. Taehyung's smile widens a little and he continues massaging Jimin's thighs, leaning down to kiss both of Jimin's knees.

He massages Jimin's thighs until Jimin starts kicking at his back lightly to get him to stop. “Alright, alright, I'm good.”

Taehyung giggles, dropping his hands and leaning down to lay on Jimin's chest. He presses a kiss his cheeks, nose, and lips. He brushes Jimin's hair out of his eyes before kissing his forehead. “Wanna take a bath?”

Jimin hums in thought, head tilting into Taehyung's hand and eyes fluttering shut. Taehyung kisses both of Jimin's eyelids, brushing his lips over Jimin's eyelashes standing out against the tan of his skin.

“Sure,” Jimin says after a few seconds. Taehyung immediately stands up and scoops Jimin up into his arms, smiling wildly at Jimin when he squeaks.

“Well, let's go bathe.” Taehyung booms, walking off towards the bathroom with a slight skip in his step. Jimin tucks his head into Taehyung's neck with a light smile on his lips.

Jimin would complain about his loud tone and the occasional bounce, but Taehyung focusing on him like this makes his cheeks feel warm and his stomach do flips, so he guesses it's okay. It's always okay with Taehyung around.
