Jungkook hated rain.

The smell was sickening, the drops felt like stinging, cold needles against his skin, the mist was cold and made him shiver, and the sound, well...

The sound wasn't his favorite in the world.

So when the city was darkened by the black sea above, and rain was slamming against every surface, he curled up on his bed of the boys' shared room that reached the roof with bunk beds two sizes too small for any of them.

He made sure the window was closed and he glared at the white wall a few feet away from him, back facing the glass.

Why was it raining, anyway?

It was sunny yesterday.

Jungkook sighed quietly, squeezing his eyes shut.

If only his music player hadn't shut down and if only he hadn't charged it in the living room and if only he wasn't so lazy.

He forced himself to relax so maybe he could sleep through the annoying rain, even though he knew he wouldn't since he wasn't tired.

But when the bed dipped into someone's weight and a body slipped underneath his sheets, a chest pressing against his back, he remembered the only thing that makes being awake during rain worth it.

Seokjin always came to him to distract him from it.

Seokjin slid one arm under Jungkook's side pressed against the bed, his hand gently rubbing Jungkook's abdomen, his other hand resting on Jungkook's thigh.

Jungkook sighed softly, pressing back against Seokjin.

Seokjin smiled, kissing the dip in the back of Jungkook's neck right where short hair met skin.

Seokjin started humming quietly beside Jungkook's ear to drown out the sound of the harsh rain.

Jungkook's eyes fluttered, turning his head to look at Seokjin.

Seokjin held his soft smile, pressing a light kiss to Jungkook's lips as he continued humming.

Jungkook pressed his forehead against Seokjin's cheek before turning his head to face the wall again, eyes closing as he focused on Seokjin's soft, lovely voice in his ear and the relaxing motions of Seokjin's hand on his stomach.

Jungkook hated the rain.

But he was sure he loved Seokjin more than anything.

oH LOOK ANOTHER TY ENDING

okay don't look at me like i'm a weirdo for making a second version to my own fic, but like the complete opposite and with semi-same situations and semi-same explinations and with a different ship okay it's because when i was trying to figure out if i wanted vmin or sugamonster for rain, a random idea to make an opposite of the 'i love rain' idea appeared since i was so damn confused because jinkook, kookie monster, and jihope also came up as possible ships so i became even more confused as to vmin, sugamonster, or jihope for 'i love rain' (my brother said the word rain rolls off the tongue, and vmin does too so vmin became the ship for that) and jinkook or kookie monster for 'i hate rain' then my bother said 'kook' sounded a bit more rough and since jinkook was the option for 'i hate rain' this happened
