“Unnie want to go to the court with me?” jiyeon ask while sitting on eunjung lap. “let see what work left for me to be done.” eunjung open every file on her table. “no more work i guess, lets go. But let me change first.” But then she turn around. “yah, is that mine?” eunjung point to sleeveless jersey that jiyeon wear. Jiyeon smile widely. “ne. I still didn’t take mine from the laundry. And unnie still have more in there, so i wear one of yours. The other unnie is too close and short for me.” Eunjung tap her forehead. “you know that is my favourite right?”

Jiyeon nod. “ara. Let me wear it, just this time unnie. Please, pretty please.” Eunjung sigh. “arasso.” She walk away to change. “assa.” Jiyeon jump happily. The door crack open. Boram enter the room followed by soyeon. “annyeong unnie.” “annyeong. Oh baby, you are here? Where is princess?” jiyeon point to the changing room. “going to the court?” soyeon ask her. “ne.” They sit on the couch, switch on their laptop. “jiyeon~ah, who is that rude girl?” jiyeon was taken aback with boram question. “ne unnie?”

“who is that rude girl we meet before?” “she is my bestfriend  before we become enemy or in other words, rival.”

Flashback

Jiyeon walk alone in the hallway to her class when she see a girl standing blankly at the entrance.”she must be new here.” Jiyeon approach her. While she is on her way to meet her, many student greet her. “morning jiyeon.” “morning angel.” “morning.” She greet them back with a wide smile. “hi, are you ok?” she greet them. “what? Sorry i didn’t understand hangul.” Jiyeon look at her. “oh i’m sorry, are you a transfer student?” “oh yeah, i’m transfering from U.S.” “you look lost, can i help you? By the way my name is park jiyeon.” jiyeon offer a handshaking to her.

She smile. “i’m lisa. My korean name is kim hyuna.” Jiyeon nod. “why are you here?” “i want to go to the principal office but i don’t know where.i’m afraid to ask since i didn’t understand much korean hangul.” Jiyeon smile. “come, follow me. I show you his office.” A boy approach her. “morning jiyeon.” “morning oppa.” He handed her a roses.”thank you.” “annyeong.” Jiyeon just now. “woah, you are quite popular i guess.” “aniya, it no...” “jiyeon noona, i made this for you. Enjoy your meal ok noona.” He say while running away.

“woah, no joke.” Jiyeon just laugh. “here is his office. I got to go now. I have a class.” “thank you jiyeon.” jiyeon smile.

“ok class, today we have a new transfer student from U.S. introduce yourself please.” The teacher say to her. “hello, my name is kim hyuna. You can call me lisa or hyuna. Since i’m not that good in hangul, i hope you guys can help me with that.” She say bow to them. “you can sit beside jiyeon. jiyeon is it ok with you? Since you are good in english.” “ne teacher. It is ok since we already meet this morning.” The teacher smile and nod. Start fom that day they become a good friend.

“hyuna i have a dance practice now. I’ll see you around soon.” “can i go with you?” jiyeon nod. Hyuna sit at the back of the dance studio looking at her. “good job jiyeon. as expected you are the best.” “what is it the best on her dance? It is a normal dance from my view.” Hyuna stare at jiyeon. “what is it so perfect about her till many people adore her so much?”

At the basketbll court, jiyeon is playing basketball with her friend. “woah, look at her move. So fast.” Jiyeon snatch the ball from one of the player hand. “deabak. How did she do that.” Hyuna look at them. “i still didn’t get it why people like her so much. For me everything she do is just a normal thing people can do.” She keep observing jiyeon and at the same time practice to be as perfect as jiyeon.

Jiyeon feel something weird about hyuna as she start to avoid her. “did you see hyuna?” “no.” Jiyeon walk at the hallway, visit every room to find her. Lastly, she find her at the dance studio dancing alone. “hyuna~ya. What are you doing here alone?” jiyeon ask her with smile. “caan’t you see? I’m dancing.” Jiyeon look up. “i’m just asking. Why did you become angry? Did i say something wrong?” hyuna look at her.

“look jiyeon, i’m so sick being friend with miss popular like you.” “hyuna~ya.” “i don’t know why but i have some kind of annoying feeling when somebody compliment you in something that very common to me. Tcck, what so good about you ha? I see nothing. Plus, i’m better than you.” She leave jiyeon alone dumbfounded.

Jiyeon practice dancing for the upcoming performance when hyna come. “good morning mam.” “oh, good morning hyuna. What can i help you?” “can i join the performance that will be held later?” she ask. Jiyeon is so shocked. The other dancer too. “but we already have enough dancer.” “i believe i can do better.” She nod. “for which position you fight for?” “main dancer.” She say while turn to look at jiyeon. “mwoya. Jiyeon is the best dancer we have. Nobody can beat her.” A girl say. “well are you afraid she will lose to me?” she say. “ok, ok. Let have a battle. But whoever i choose, you must accept it ok.” They start the battle but at last still jiyeon is the one that get choosen.

Jiyeon also the captain of the basketball team. They are practicing for the next tournament when hyuna come with her friends challenging them for 3 by 3. In the middle of the game, she push jiyeon from the back make she fell down. “ah.” Jiyeon yell holding her hand. “captain, are you ok?” “yes, i’m ok. No worries. Lets continue.” Hyuna smirk. “still strong to continue park jiyeon?” “i’m not that weak.” Jiyeon say getting ready again. jiyeon play with one hand as her other hand is in pain. “captain, you sure you are ok?” “yes, just ignore it and continue. You heard me?” she nod. When they lead the game and jiyeon holding the ball, suddenly hyuna come from the front and kick jiyeon jiyeon leg make her groan in pain.

“ahhh.” She grab the ball and throw it to the goal. “captain, are you ok?” a girl ask her. She touch jiyeon leg. “ah, don’t touch it. oh my god my leg. Ahhh.” Another girl come and grab hyuna collar. “what actually you trying to do stupid?” “jieun stop it. don’t fight. Ahh.” “you better watch out if something happen to her. Come on we need to hurry to the hospital.” She grab jiyeon hnad make her groan more. “ah.” “why whats wrong?” “molla, my hand.” They look at jiyeon hand and its swollen.

End plashback

“i broke my hand and my leg at the same time. Ithat time the performance just a week away and the tournament is a month away. I need less or more than a month to heal both. So i can participate on both of it. it dissapoint me since i practice so hard for it but i am more dissapointed when my best friend betrayed me.” Jiyeon look down. “what a jerk. I don’t know there is exist somebody like her.” “we meet somebody worse than her unnie.” Eunjung say. “its ok baby. We will protect you ok.” Eunjung say. Jiyeon smile and nod. “so lets go. We need to catch up the game. Want to make a bet?” “of course, are you confident enoug to win over me?” “wait and see. If i win, buy me a new guitar. The guitar that we see the other day.” Jiyeon jaw drop. “call, if i win, you must give me use your car for a month.” Eunjung immediately shook her head. “andwae. No, no, no.” “why?” “because i can’t give other person use my baby. Andwae. I’ll give enything except my guitar and my car.”

She say run away. “yah unnie, thats not fair.” She say chasing her from behind. The other only laugh. “that sibling sure how to entertain each other.” Soyeon smile.

Jiyeon is on her way to her class. “well, well, we meet again park jiyeon. you are alone? Where is your knight?” she say looking around. “what again hyuna? Is it not enough you make me suffer before?” she laugh. “i just want to be friendly jiyeon. i miss you since you left without telling me.” She smirk. “for what? Am i your friend?” “yeah, we are bestfriend remember?” “no i’m not. I don’t have a betrayer as my friend.” Hyuna laugh. “i still not finish with you park jiyeon. i don’t what is so good about you but for sure i feel annoying with it.” a boy approach them. “jiyeon noona, are you ok?”  jiyeon smile. “ne, wae?” “here, enjoy your meal noona.”

“looks like it is still the same here. So annoying. I’ll see you around again park jiyeon.” she walk away. Jiyeon just sigh. She sit in her class reading her book. “jiyeon~ah.” “ne?” “can you help me with this?” a girl stnd beside her. “oh, this is just the same like the previous exercise. You only need to change it a bit here and solve this first.” “oh, so the answer should be like this?” “ne.” “thank you jiyeon.” she smile. A boy approach her. “jiyeon noona, eunjung noona want to meet you.” “eodi? Now?” “ne, now at the rooftop.” “arasso, thank you.” She say wink to the boys. “is she wink to me?” he say asking the othe rstudent before jump high.

“unnie.” “oh jiyeon~ah. Come here.” “wae unnie? Why are you calling me here?” eunjung smile. “nothing just want to spend time with you. I miss you. Me being busy is such a painfull thing you know.” “i miss you too unnie. Its ok since me too busy. But not as busy as you.” Jiyeon say backhuging eunjung. “should we grab our dinner together later?” “didn’t you need to go to office?” “i’m the boss i can go there anytime i want. Ok?” “ok, call.” They spent some time there before heading back to their class.

The next day, jiyeon heading to the court alone where her fans and her student that always play there gather. “annyeong.” “annyeong. Alone today noona?” “ne, unnie have something to do.” “so, lets start our game. Voting please.” Their game being interrupe when a clapping sound can be heard. “park jiyeon, you still have that skill ha even after that incident. Hmm, but you are not as good as me i guess.” A boy take the ball and throw it to her. “try it then. We’ll see who is better.”

“2 by 2? How bout that?” “let me play with you. I will protect you by then.” The boy approaching jiyeon. before jyeon can answer, another person voice out. “i will be in the game with her.” “unnie.” “eunjung noona.” “you don’t mind if i join the game right, kim hyuna~ssi?” hyuna just smirk. “don’t cry if something happen before happen again today.” “if you think it gonna happen again, you are wrong.” Jiyeon smirk as the game start.
