Jimin has a good idea on how to propose to Laura this Christmas.

   Jimin sneaks out of the company building. It was two weeks before Christmas. Jimin had schedules all November long and these two weeks of December. However, he finally has a time where he can do some shopping. He first bought things for the other members. Jungkook was talking about a new plushie he saw: it was a squid that can be turned inside out to be a different color and emotion. Jungkook was obsessed with these.

Jin and Hope wanted some phone gadgets and Switch games; Namjoon and Suga weren't too different. They just wanted some brand clothes. V loved jewelry. But that wasn't the only reason why Jimin was in the jewelry store today. He got a necklace for V first. But then his mission was a pretty ring. Jimin had Laura's ring size memorized, followed by the collection of rings she already has.

He didn't want to get anything similar to what she had already. He wanted something unique. Laura's parents gave her so many flashy, gorgeous rings. He saw something that struck his eyes. He saw a silver band with hearts imprinted on it. The stone is a beautiful turquoise heart. On the sides of the heart were little white stones.

"This one." He pointed and smiled at the jeweler.

She took the ring out of the case. "What size are you looking for?" The lady asked.

"This is my girlfriend's size, and this is mine." Jimin handed her a piece of paper. "I would like a set of two." He requested.

The lady blushed and nodded. "That is one lucky lady." She commented. "Would you like it to come in the original case? Or would you like a customized case?" She asked, taking the case from the display too.

Jimin thought for a moment. "I think the original." He answered. "Thank you so much." He bowed.

The lady bowed before taking his information. "It will be ready for you within a week." She informed.

Jimin nodded and waved. "I'll see you then."

Their manager walked into their dorm with a sheet of paper. All seven were sitting on the couches, waiting for his news update. It was a week later, Jimin was anxious to hear that they had at least the day off. He had bought tickets to fly to Canada with Laura this week.

"Good afternoon, Boys." Manager Kim greeted. "So I have a note from the company. They said that we are taking Christmas week as well as New Year's week off. You don't have to practice or record anything unless you really want to." He looked at Jungkook with a teasing smile. "Last year, we took a few days off and you guys still wanted to do stuff, so we're not going to have that argument again.

"In the meantime, we do ask for you guys to spend time with fans." Kim continued. "I know, we don't have any scheduled fan meetings. That doesn't mean you can't go on VLive and Instagram Live. Even go on Weverse." He advertised. "Make the fans feel warm, just like they make you guys feel.

"Are there any questions?" Kim asked.

Jimin raised his hand. "Can I go to Canada this week?" He asked.

The others muttered a few things. "I uh.. Why?" Kim asked.

"Laura is going there, and I told her I wanted to go with her." Jimin said. "But I forgot to buy a ticket for her flight. So it’s the flight before her." He continued, explaining everything.

Namjoon shrugged. "Just wear your mask." He simply said. "I saw the ring box in your room. Are you proposing?" He asked.

Jimin blushed and looked down. "..yes.." He muttered.

The other boys howled. Kim chuckled. "Well then, if you already bought the ticket, go ahead." He said. "Just remember to post on the fan cafe while you're there. If nothing else, post a picture of the sky and some words." He shrugged. "Remember, it's for Army. So put your heart into it." He insisted.

Jimin hummed and put a thumb up. "Just.. Don't any of you tell her about this, kay?" He requested. "I don't even want her knowing I'm going to Canada. Cuz.. You know, I couldn't make her flight." He chuckled.

V nudged him. "Good luck, Bro." He promised for the group.

It was the day before Christmas Eve, Jimin had bought her a ticket for the flight that day.  So when she landed, it was mid-day in Canada.  Laura was a little depressed as she boarded the plane.  She figured that the group would have off at least the week of Christmas.  But she sees so many posts from the members that make her sad.  They never get a break..  And it broke her heart.  She fastened her belt, having Jimin's smile in her mind.

I shouldn't be too upset.  She tried to tell herself.  I just need to enjoy a break for them.  I need to appreciate it so that they can feel the happiness too.  She nodded inwardly.  Even though I won't see any of them for a week, it's fine.  I can text them and call them while my parents are in bed.

Her sadness slowly lifted.  As it was getting dark, she finally arrived at her parent's house.  She yawned and entered the house.

"Hey there dear!"  Her mother waved.  "Come here, Baby~"  She hugged Laura.

Laura giggled and hugged back, loving the feel of the older woman's arms around her.  She hasn't felt her parents' love in person in over four years.  It happened four years ago that Manager Kim recruited her.  She's a backup singer for some recordings that the label needs.  She also is a fashion designer, keeping the boys and girls in the label up-to-date for their airport fashion and conference attire.

And then she and Jimin have been dating for three and a half of those four years.  They found out that they were in love when they were looking into each other's eyes. It happened when she was fixing Jimin's hair.  She made the first move, asking if he was alright.  She asked if he felt his heart beating too.

Those thoughts alone made Laura relieved, knowing that Jimin has the same love for her, even if they are thousands of miles away.

"We have a surprise for you."  Her father came in with a blindfold.

"Eh?"

Her mother wrapped the material around her head.  "Where are we going?"  She asked.

"Just let us guide you."  Her father answered.

It was nighttime now.  The parents wanted to make sure it was nice and dark before she arrived.  When they took the material off, the first thing to catch her eyes were the lights:  light blues and gorgeous cream white lights were shining through the darkness.  The tree was decorated with ornaments from her childhood and tinsel.  The bushes surrounding the tree were decorated as well with some lamp posts decorating the path to the tree.

And that's when she noticed Jimin there.  He had a beautiful blue suit on.  "Miss Lu,"  He started, "Merry Christmas."  He said charmingly.

Laura blushed and walked up to him.  They were right in front of the tree.  He picked a little box out of his jacket and went on one knee.  "Miss Lu, will you marry me?"  He asked, looking right into her eyes.

"Jimin.."  She muttered.  "Do you feel your heart beating too?"  Laura asked.

Jimin nodded.  "I feel it, the happiness running through my body is running through yours."  He answered.

Laura giggled and nodded.  "I would love to marry you."  She said.

He took the ring out and took her hand.  He gently slid the ring down her finger.  Laura noticed the identical ring on his finger.  She helped him up and hugged him.  "I love you so much."  She whispered.

"I love you too, Darling."  He whispered back. "I'll love you forever and ever."

Watching them, Laura's parents held each other.  They smiled, reliving their courting days.  "She picked a good one."  He said.

"Just like me."  She pecked his cheek.
