Minho is good in using sword while Hayoung is good in using guns. They have this crazy love-and-hate relationship and whenever they fight, they just bring out their weapons and do the crazy fight

    Minho leaps with his long legs before rolling on the pavement to dodge a bullet.  He watched the girl reloading her gun.  He took this opportunity to engage his swords and run toward her.  However, she quickly dorpped the gun before pulling out her thigh gun, shooting bullets his way.  He used the tempered steel to deflect the bullets, sending them elsewhere.

Hayoung felt a bullet fly past her hair, missing her by a mere inch.  She put a hand in the air, signaling that the battle was over.  Minho smirked and put his swords in their sheaths.

"And there we have it, Hayoung.  I win."  He walked up to the shorter.  "Popcorn is way better to watch during a movie than pizza."  He said with a smug smile.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head.  "Fine.."  She grumbled before having a small smile on her lips.

Once the gun was out of her hand, she reached to cup the man's cheek, kissing his lips briefly.  "Your roll was so funny though."  She laughed as they walk together.

"But you had that weird stance against that pillar over there while you were reloading."  He joked, pointing at the location.

They laugh and joke around a little bit more until the time got to them.  It was turning evening and they needed to part ways.  "I really had a good time today, even though the date turned into a battle."  She giggled while putting her hands together.

"I had fun today too,"  Minho walked with her until she made it to her car, "especially since I won."  He said proudly.

She poked the taller, smiling up at him.  "You just wait until next time, I'll beat you."  She said.

"I can't wait for next time then."  He spoke softly, leaning down and kissing her lips.

Hayoung brought him closer for a short while.  Minho then watched the car disappear down the road.

The next day comes by and Minhoo is sitting outside while cleaning his swords.  The battle from the previous day left his swords a little dirty.  Since they train together, Minho sees Hayoung's car coming up to the property.  Not many people practice sword fighting anymore, but he's glad he found a good dual partner who also happens to be his one and only.

She had cleaning guns to do, so she set up her weapons next to him.  "How was your sleep?"  He asked, watching her take apart her gun. 

"Pretty good, it felt nice hearing your voice."  She chuckled.  "Thank you for the audio texts."  She looked at him with a playful eye.

Minho smiled and saw her clean the one gun that was the dirtiest.  "I've been a little lonely at home lately.."  Hayoung confessed in a quiet voice.

Minho raised an eyebrow.  "Why's that?"  He asked

"You know that my mom raises cats to have them be adopted,"  Hayoung started, "the one kitten that I grew attached to got adopted last week."  She sighed as she slowly put her weapon back together.

Minho watched the girl.  He felt bad for Hayoung, she tries her best to not get too attached to the cats since she can't keep them.  However, he wanted to brighten her mood a little.  And what better way to that than start a little battle?

"You shouldn't worry about it too much,"  He started, "dogs are the superior pet after all."  He said with a smirk.

She looked at him with a stern eye.  "Seriously?  No way, cats are the best."  She angrily said.

"Ehh, felines are kinda ugly."  He said, noticing she had put her gun together completely. 

She stands up abruptly.  "You seriously want to fight?!"  She pointed at him with her unloaded gun.

"I seriously do.  Dogs are best."  He stood up to be taller than her.

They stare at each other for what seemed like minutes.  The reality of it was, they did look at each other for minutes.  Just one minute longer, and Minho would have broke and said that he just wanted to make her happy.  Instead, he was faced with a surprise.

"Alright then,"  She held her hips, "I challenge you!  Whoever wins, that animal will be called the best pet."  She put up the earnings.

Minho stood up and held the handles of his swords.  "Alright, but dogs are man's best friend, not pet."  He teased with a little wink.

She rolled her eyes and signaled for him to follow her to their fighting ring.  This is where they start.  The whole facility is sort of like a fighting scene.  They could hide in the buildings or jump the fence to fight outside.  However, the start is in the center of the whole place. 

They looked at each other for one more minute.  In the next minute, Minho spins around, dodging the bullets that Hayoung was shooting.  He felt the bullets near him, but that didn't break his confidence.  He jumped back, standing on the fence with one foot.

He balanced as he watched Hayoung aim at him.  He quickly jumped, using the thick wall-like fence as a boost.  His blade almost got into contact with her almost-bare arm.  Her sleeves only went above her elbows.  She shot more rounds at him, each hitting the buildings or something else nearby.

She ran after him and they went into one of the buildings.  She dropped her gun that ran out of bullets and picked up one that she hid in a cabinet there.  Minho was surprised and jumped out of the window on the second floor.  He ran across the roofs that were placed there for the purpose of an escape scenario.

He slid down the shingles before making it back to the ring.  Bullets were flying everywhere until there were clicking noises.  Hayoung ran out of bullets.  And by the look on her face, she was out of secret weapons too.  Minho smirked and finally went to an attack position.

Hayoung maneuvered around Minho, kicking the swords out of the man's hands before kicking his ankle.  Minho then fell onto the ground, his chest facing him.  Hayoung goes on her knees on top of the male.  "Ha! I-"

She was surprised when the male reversed their position, holding her shoulders.  He looked at her in the eyes.  Hayoung blushes as the taller stayed like that, looking into her eyes and smiling.  "You know,"  He said in a soft voice, "this is rather romantic."  He said with a raised eyebrow.

"You know we're supposed to be fighting right?"  She complained, angry that the male had turned this into something romantic.

Minho ignored her words, closing the gap and kissing her.  She doesn't fight it as she was feeling romantic vibes too.  Just as she was getting into the kiss, Minho pulled away.

"I win."  He said with a devious smile.

She sighed as he stood up.  "Fine, whatever.  Dogs are the best."  She stood up too and was starting to walk away from the man.

He put his arms around her, pulling her in for a hug.  "You know, cats and dogs can get along if they try hard enough.."  He whispered.  "Just like us.."  He held her gently and lovingly.

Hayoung closed her eyes and hugged back.  "I miss her.."  She muttered about the cat.

"I know.. I'm here for you."  Minho said, feeling her tears on his shoulder.

She smiled a little.  "Thank you.."  She mumbled, wiping her eyes.  "You almost got yourself killed to make me feel better."  She chuckled.

"It's what lovers do,"  Mingho pulled back, "I'm willing to die for your happiness, Hayoung."  He said with a playful smile.  But his eyes had a serious look to them.

She nodded and kissed him. 

 

I might have added a little too much sadness in this.
But Minho's got Hayoung's back.
Hopefully I did the fighting scenes well, I'm not too good when it comes to them.
I imagined some of the animes I've watched with sword and gun fighting, so just imagine this to be an anime hahah
