"He is going to kiss me..."

Sylvia thought with her eyes. But seconds have passed, and nothing happened. She could hear him breathing but he wasn't doing anything. "Is he not going to kiss me?" she thought in confusion. 

Sylvia slowly opened her eyes, to see Wes staring at her. "I'm sorry, I don't want to kiss you yet. Not until you become my girlfriend..." he thought. Instead of being disappointed for not being kissed, Sylvia was happy because it only proves how much of a gentleman he is. "One day, I know you're going to kiss me too. And I'll wait for that day to come." she thought. 

"I... I don't have to prove I have a thing for Sam, right?" Wes asked awkwardly. Sylvia laughed, and nodded her head. "Don't mind me and my wild imagination." Sylvia said as she smiled nervously. "But..." Wes said, not letting her go. 

His heart raced against his chest as he tried to find words to tell her how he feels for her. "If you read another manga that is not a BL story, will you think of me as your leading man, and you as my leading lady?" he asked. Sylvia's cheeks turned pink at what she said. "Is there a chance he still likes me too? Should I tell him what I feel?" she thought. Sylvia looked at him and nodded her head.

Sylvia took the manga from her study table, and plopped onto her bed. It was her favorite manga called "Ferris Wheel Tears". She opened the part where the characters professed their love for each other. Then, she remembered what Wes told her a while ago. As she read the manga, she imagined the characters were her and Wes.

Sylvia held the balloon as she watched the ferris wheel  spun. She let out a sigh, as a sad frown formed on her face. "He didn't choose me. I guess this is it..." she said to herself. She lowered her face, and turned around. As she lifted her head, she saw Wes walking towards her.

She was surprised to see him, but nevertheless, she was happy. "Wes..." she called him. He let out a boyish smile as he walked towards her. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Tia?" she asked. Wes shook his head. "I didn't go with her to Milan. I thought I had better things to do here." he said as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. 

"But you love her, don't you? You're willing to give up everything for her." she told him. "I thought I love her." Wes said. This made Sylvia even more confused. "What do you mean?" she asked. "Sometimes, feelings can change, right? I thought I love her so much, too much that I can give up everything for her. But I realized, love shouldn't be like that. When you love, you should be willing to compromise, right?" he said. 

Sylvia stared at him. "While I'm chasing her, proving to her that I love her, I never thought someone is secretly loving me. She gets hurt when she sees me sad. She would do anything to make me smile, even if she makes a fool out of herself. She loved me unconditionally, without asking for anything in return. But what have I done? Instead,  I treated her so bad in favor of the girl I'm head over heels with." he told her. 

She became confused at what he said.  "When I was about to board the plane, I realized something. I was stupid to let go of a love like that. Imagine, I would be a thousand miles away from you. I just can't bear to be away from you." Wes said. "Y-you chose me? You... you left Tia to be with me?" she asked. Wes smiled, and nodded his head. Then, he reached her cheek and caressed it. 

"Sylvia, I love you. I'm sorry for being stupid to realize that now. I'm sorry for all the tears I caused you. If you give me a chance, I will make you the happiest girl in the world." he told her as he gazed into her eyes. At that moment, she wanted to laugh and cry at the same time. She was so happy that Wes finally realized his feelings for her. "I hope your feelings have not changed for me..." he said. Sylvia shook her head. "I still feel the same way, Wes. I still feel the same way. I still love you today, they way I did in the days before. And I will feel the same way tomorrow, and the days after that. I still love you, Wes." she told him. 

Wes let out a smile. Then, she leaned to her forehead. "I love you so much, Sylvia." he said. As he kissed her on the lips, Sylvia let go of the balloons on her hand.

Sylvia closed the book, as she let out a smile. She hugged the book as she curled up in her bed.  "Will that happen if I confess to Zheng?" she thought. She smiled to herself again, imagining what would have happened if she tells him what she feels for him.

"I should confess to him. Wait, it's going to be Zheng's birthday soon..." she said to herself. Then, an idea hit her head. She immediately stood up, and went to her desk, rummaging through her treasure box. Inside, she saw the  paper butterfly she made for Wes a few months back, wherein she wished for his happiness after Tia is gone. She wasn't able to give it to him yet, but now, she found the right moment to give him that. 

As she clutched on the paper butterfly, she looked outside the window. "The two of us searching for a happy ending..." she said in a low voice. "Someday, I know we will find it..."

"Ella jie, can I ask you something?" Sylvia asked as she was having breakfast with Ella. "Sure, go on." Ella said. "How did Chun ge confessed his love for you?" she asked. Ella paused for a while. Then, she smiled as she remembered the time Chun told her he loves her. 

"I remember that night. He's gone crazy looking for me because my best friend came back from Australia. I remember seeing how scared he is to lose me." Ella said with a laugh. "He asked me if Sphinx had told me he loved me, and if he asked me to be his girlfriend. I told Chun that, yes, Sphinx proposed to me, but I turned him down. And I made a long explanation of why I turned down my best friend." Ella continued. "Then, what did Chun ge did?" Sylvia asked. "He stopped me midway through my speech. He told me he loved me, and he explained his actions since we were kids. That he didn't know how to act on his feelings for me back then, so he end up bullying me or making me upset." Ella said. 

"Really? Then, what did you do?" Sylvia asked. "I accepted him. He became my boyfriend that night. I'm so in love with him, I don't think I could give up the chance." Ella said with a laugh. Sylvia laughed with her as well. "Why are you asking me this, anyway?" Ella asked.

Sylvia smiled, and Ella could see the pink tint on her cheeks. "I want to confess to him..." she said. Ella gave her a confused look. "Who? Have you made your decision?" Ella asked. Sylvia nodded her head. "I chose Zheng..." Sylvia said. 

Ella was surprised at what she said. "You like Zheng?" she asked. Sylvia nodded her head. "And you're going to confess your love to Zheng?" Ella asked. Sylvia nodded her head. Ella wanted to jump in glee. "Finally! My Wes-Sylvia love team!" she thought. "Then, do you need my help?" Ella asked. Sylvia nodded her head. "I have no idea how to tell him how I feel. But, I plan to tell him soon, since his birthday is coming up!" she told her. "Then, I'll help you. I'll think of a special way for you to be able to confess to him, all right?" Ella said. Sylvia smiled and nodded her head.

Chun looked at Wes' direction, and saw him in his deep thoughts. He had been sighing every now and then. "What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" Chun finally asked him. "Nothing..." Wes said. Chun sighed at him. "You've been sighing there. And you're telling me nothing's wrong?" he said. 

Wes let out another sigh. "All right, I'll tell you Chun ge. It's going to be my birthday." he said. Chun was surprised at what he said. "I didn't know! Why didn't you tell me sooner? What do you want for your birthday? I can make a birthday cake that's not too sweet." Chun told him. Wes smiled at him. "I have other plans..." Wes said. 

With that, Chun pouted. "Zheng ge ge doesn't want to spend his birthday with me..." Chun said with a pout, making Wes laugh. "It's not that I don't want to spend my birthday with you, Chun ge. But I want to spend it with a very special girl..." Wes said with a smile. 

Chun's eyes widened at what he said. He realized what Wes was telling him. "Fei Fei!" he exclaimed. Wes nodded his head. "Then, ask her out on a date. You can go and watch a movie, or go to the amusement park..." 

"But she and her ex-boyfriend went to the amusement park before. I don't want to be a copy cat."

"How about a picnic? I can prepare some snacks for you!"

"She'll probably ask me to bring lots of sweets."

Chun folded his arms to think. "Then, what are you planning to do on the date?" Chun asked. "I want to confess to her properly. The last time, we got on the wrong foot. Maybe this time, if I confess properly, she would accept me." Wes replied. 

As if a lightbulb lit up on top of his head, Chun looked at Wes, and smiled. "Eh, Zheng, didn't you and Fei Fei used to exchange butterfly origamis?" Chun asked. Wes nodded his head. "I have an idea..." Chun said. As he discussed his idea with Wes, the younger guy smiled at him.

"Should I get Zheng another baseball cap for his birthday?" Diana asked as she, Sunnee, Sylvia and Pei Ci looked around the store after school. "He have too many baseball caps."  Sylvia reminded her. "Does Zheng ge still collects Magic cards?" Pei Ci asked. Sylvia nodded her head. "He still does. He and Wayne plays it from time to time." Sylvia said. Pei Ci nodded her head, and took some Magic Cards from the rack. 

"P'Sylvia, how about you? What's your birthday gift for P'Wes?" Sunnee asked. Pei Ci looked at Sunnee, and smiled. "What else, but her heart!" Pei Ci said, shaping her hand into a heart. The girls laughed at her. "So, does that mean Fei Fei will finally accept Zheng if he confesses again this time?" Diana asked. 

Sylvia didn't answer. Instead, she smiled at them. "Ah, then it means P'Sylvia likes P'Wes now!" Sunnee said. Sylvia nodded her head. "I'm planning to confess on his birthday, but I don't know how. Sunnee, how did Dylan confessed to you?" she asked as she looked up at Sunnee. Sunnee's cheeks turned pink as she remembered the day she and Dylan got together. 

"He asked me if I like raccoons..." Sunnee said. Pei Ci and Diana gave each other a confused look. "What does raccoons have to do with his confession?" Pei Ci asked. "Because I like raccoons. And it was the nickname I gave him when we first met in Thailand." Sunnee said. "All right, I get it. So Dylan just reminded you of your past when he confessed. But I'm curious about how Wayne confessed to Diana..." Pei Ci said as she eyed Diana. 

Diana's cheeks turned pink remembering the day she and Wayne got together. "I kissed him when the fireworks started during the school festival!" she said as she held her cheeks. Sunnee and Diana both shrieked, while Pei Ci just looked at them. "That guy is so lame! Imagine, making Diana make the first move!" Pei Ci said. Sylvia have Pei Ci a confused look. "So, if I made the first move, does that mean Zheng is lame?" Sylvia asked her. "Zheng ge is never lame. I should know, I'm the younger brother, and I take from him, and I'm not lame, you know." Pei Ci, pointing at herself. 

The three of them laughed at her. "Then, can you guys help me? How can I confess to Zheng without being lame?" she asked. "Just tell P'Wes what's in your heart!" Sunnee said. "Kiss him! That will shock him too!" Diana suggested. "Date me instead." Pei Ci said. 

The three of them just looked blankly at Pei Ci, while Pei Ci was laughing. "Are you serious?" Sunnee asked her.

"Wayne ge ge, here's a butterfly for you!" Stephy told Wayne as he handed him the paper butterfly she made. Wayne smiled at the little girl, and took the paper butterfly from her hand. "Thank you, Stephy! You're so cute!" he said as he pinched her nose. Stephy giggled at what Wayne did. Chun looked at the two, and cleared his throat. 

"Stephy, how about me? Don't I get a paper butterfly?" Evan asked Stephy with a pout. Stephy went back to her place, and then took an origami heart, and gave it to Evan. "Awww, Stephy loves me more than she loves Wayne ge ge!" Evan said. Then he stuck out his tongue at Wayne. A sweat drop formed on Chun's head. "Who does my daughter really like?" Chun thought. 

Wes just smiled as he watched Evan and Stephy together. Wayne just pouted as he looked at the two. "Hey! Don't be too close to Stephy." Wayne told Evan. Evan made a face at him, making Stephy laugh. "Evan, you're so fond of Stephy..." Dylan commented. "Of course, Stephy is such a cutie pie!" Evan said she pinched Stephy's cheeks. 

"I won't blame you if Stephy thinks you want to marry her someday." Wes told him. Evan and Stephy looked at each other, and laughed. Chun cleared his throat again. "No." Chun said sternly. Wes let out a laugh at what he said. 

Ella came inside their house, bringing some snacks. "Take a break first, guys." she said as she placed a tray beside Chun. "Ah! Ella jie is the best!" Wayne said as he took a snack from the tray.  Ella sat beside Chun, and watched them as they make paper butterflies. "That's too much origami for a school project..." Ella commented. The guys paused, then looked at each other. "Uhmmm... we need this for a school play, Ella jie." Dylan said. Ella nodded in understanding. 

"What play are you going to perform?" Ella asked again. "Butterfly Lovers!" Evan said. "Wes will be playing Liang Zhong Shan." Wayne said. "And Sylvia is Zhu Yan Zi!" Evan said. Wes and Chun glared at him and threw a crumpled paper at Evan. Ella gave all of them skeptical look. "This is not for a school play, isn't it?" Ella said. The boys just kept quiet. 

"It's for Wes ge ge's birthday!" Stephy told her. "Stephy!" All the boys gasped at her. Ella folded her arms as she looked at all of them. "Baobei, let's talk somewhere, all right?" Chun said. He stood up, and dragged Ella outside the house. "Ella  jie isn't supposed to know about this, or else, the surprise will be ruined!" Wayne said. Wes let out a sigh as he watched Chun and Ella outside. 

"Tell me what you know, chicken face." Ella told her husband. Chun let out a sigh. He resigned, and decided to  tell his wife everything. "It's about Team Zheng And Fei Fei Forever..." Chun said. Ella let out a smile. "Wait, that's a good name, huh? So, what do you know?" Ella said. "Wes wants to confess to Sylvia on his birthday." 

Ella smirked and folded his arms. "Chicken face, didn't we agree? We're going to help the two of them together." she said. Chun nodded his head. "Don't you think that because I live with Sylvia I might know something about what she feels about Wes?" Ella said. 

Chun's lightened up upon hearing that. "Well, what do you know about Sylvia?" he asked. Ella paused and thought for a while. Then, she smiled at him. "It's a secret." she said. "Baobei!" Chun shouted, making Ella laugh. "All right, I'll tell you. But, don't let Wes know, or it will also ruin Fei Fei's surprise for him." Ella said. Chun folded his arms as he gave her a skeptical look. "And what do you want in return?" he asked. "Let me help with the preparations, all right?" she said. Chun let out a smile at his wife. "You got it." he said.
