I arrived at home around 10 pm after spending some times with Sana. And I goes straight into my parent’s room. I knock the door twice when I heard my mom’s voice. I twist the door knob and push it, and the first thing I get to witness is my mom smiling looking at me. I look at the other side of the room, my dad currently sit at the couch and watching news.

“Sweetheart, you’re home.” My mom greet me. I nodded and goes straight to the bed. I sit at the edge of the bed and my mom pulled me in her embrace.

“I miss you so much,” she said. I just giggles.

“Mom, we just met this morning right?”

“I know, but I miss my only daughter.” she said again.

“Your mom being such an emotional lady again.” My dad teased causing me to laugh.

I wiped my tears as I laugh a little too much causing my mom to pouting. I just giggle before remind myself why I came to their room.

“Mom, dad, Sana send her regard.” I start the conversation.

“Ehem, so, how is she?” my dad switch off the television and immediately his full attention on me.

“Well, she’s nice. And kind too. She’s caring and—“

“And what?”

“She ask me to stay with her, start tomorrow.” I said softly. I look at my mom who currently look at my dad.

“Well, it’s okay with us actually.” My dad say.

“Really?”

“Yes, as actually your mom and I will be going to Japan start next week.” He said. My jaw dropped. They’re going to leave me? Their only daughter alone?

“We’re not leaving you, sweetheart. Your dad’s new office will be launch next week. Plus your soon mother in law and father in law invited us to stay there until your wedding day. We have a lot to prepare. We need to meet the wedding planner from time to time. Luckily the wedding dress already posted there.” My mom explain. Ah yes, I totally forget that our wedding will be held at Japan as this kind of marriage still not acceptable here.

But still my parents insist for us to get married. I wonder why.

“We want to bring you but your examination will start next two week right?” my dad asked. I just nodded. I feel lucky as my parents still concern about me despite of being busy. They still track on my schedule. Even since I’m a little, they never failed to show up if I was involved in any school’s activities. Even until now, sometimes they came to the club to see my performance with my bandmate.

I can only say that I’m lucky to have a small but happy family.

“There she goes again.” My dad interrupted causing my mom to glare at him.

I wish my marriage life can always be happy like them. I wish I can make them happy. And I determined now. I will learn to love Sana and try to love her with all my heart.
