Somin and Hyunjoong drove in silence. Somin kept her eyes fixed on her hands cupped in her lap while Hyunjoong focused on the road.

“Thank you….for…saving me” Hyunjoong finally said breaking the ice

Somin looked at him with brightly-lit eyes and a soft smile on her face

“But if you are expecting an apology for my behavior….then I’m sorry to say you wont get one.” Hyunjoong remarked coldly—Somin’s  smile vanished.”whatever I said…there was nothing wrong. You played a nasty trick and you deserve to hear that.” Hyunjoong continued. “ Yes…you saved my life….and thank you very much for that…but that doesn’t change anything! You are like a witch—“

“STOP THE CAR!” Somin yelled which forced Hyunjoong to snap his head towards her. “I SAID STOP THE DAMN CAR!”  Somin repeated,glaring at him.

The sternness in her voice scared Hyunjoong and he stepped on the brake abruptly making the car come to a screeching halt

Somin quickly unbuckled herself and stepped out of the car banging the door shut behind her.Hyunjoong’s squinted gaze followed as she walked away from the car. He finally got out himself and caught up to her with a couple of long strides. He tugged at her hand pulling her back but Somin forcibly freed her hand from his grip.

“LEAVE ME!” Somin cried

Hyunjoong looked around nervously to check if anyone was watching them “Don’t make a scene. Get into the car!” he spoke with gritted teeth

“I am fine! I can manage myself” Somin hissed and turned to walk away again but Hyunjoong was too fast for her as he pulled her back again.

“Listen Hyunjoong I’m not going to tolerate your torture anymore!” Somin snapped when she saw Hyunjoong opening his mouth to speak. “You think I’m some kinda witch doing black magic on you right?” Somin glared at him shooting up an eyebrow “A few days back I was the angel of your life and now I’m the witch? Just because I played a love game?” Somin laughed hysterically

Hyunjoong looked at her intently. This demenour of Somin was something he hadn’t witnessed before—he was completely taken aback

“You know what I think?” Somin squinted her eyes “ You’re not angry at me….. you’re angry at yourself!”

Hyunjoong’s eyes grew big in shock

“Yes! You’re angry at your own confused self! You just say your love is true but in reality…you have no idea about your feelings. You blame me for separating you from Haera right? But you know what….if you guys truly loved each other no matter what I or someone else would have done…it wouldn’t have effected you!”

Hyunjoong was too awestruck to utter a word—he just stared at Somin

“You know what….I pity you….I pity you Kim Hyunjoong. At least I know what’s in here” Somiin patted her chest as tears pooled in her eyes “I know my heart, the heart that has always wanted and loved you and you only” Somin sniffed

Hyunjoong’s heart thumped at her words.

“But look at you….you don’t even know who you love?! You don’t understand your own freaking heart!How will you understand me or my feelings!” Somin rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand “Whatever I did….I dunno whether it was right or wrong…but I did it because I loved you. I don’t regret it! ” Somin exhaled,her teary eyes radiating an eerie kinda determination and confidence “What I do regret is falling in love with a spineless hypocrite like you” Somin threw her hands at him in anger “But now I’m done…I deserve someone much better than you Kim Hyunjoong”

Saying that Somin walked off leaving a stunned Hyunjoong behind.
