Somin's phone was ringing
“Yabuseyo”
“Hey Somin! This is Jungmin!”
“Oh hey Horsey!” Somin giggled while Jungmin flushed on the other side
“Oh! Not you too!” Jungmin pouted “Anyways you coming to the bash na?”
“Hmm…I’ll leave in few minutes.”
“Few mintues?!” Jungmin cried horrorstruck
“Yea…why what’s wrong?”
“Umm…no nothing…ummm…okay bye see you soon” Jungmin hung up
“Huh? Jung—“ Somin looked at her phone in confusion.
“This is bad! Somin will be here in a few minutes and I haven’t got the cake yet!” Jungmin pressed his temples. He exhaled and dialed up Hyunjoong
“Yeah Horsey!” Hyunjoong answered
“Hyung…I’m in trouble”
“Why? what happened?” Hyunjoong’s voice turned serious instantly
“I called up Somin and she said she’ll be here in a few minutes. But I still have some arrangements left.”
“Oh…so hurry up then”
“It’ll take atleast half an hour more hyung”
“So what do you want me to do?”
“Could you stall her while I get things ready here? Please please please!!!” Jungmin fervently requested
“Okay okay fine” Hyunjoong agreed
“Oh thank you so much hyung! Could you just do me one more favor?PLEASE?”
“WHAT?” Hyunjoong said through gritted teeth
“I ordered a ferrorocher mousse cake at Sugary. Could you please pick it up?”
“Jungmin I can’t—“
“Hyung please!!!!”
Hyunjoong sighed and buried his head in his free fand “Okay fine”
“Thank you sooooooooooo much hyung! Loveya! Now go to her palli! She’ll leave in a few minutes” Jungmin instructed and hung up
“Oh shincha!” Hyunjoong removed his phone from his ear and glared at it.
“Somin! This is Dong Sun!”
“Oh! Dong Sun-nim!” Somin said. There was a lot of noise in the Dong Sun’s background making it difficult for Somin to hear him properly “Where are you?what’s all that sound?”
“I am at the airport” Dong Sun replied
“Airport?”
“Yea I am taking an evening flight to Australia to meet Jess”
“Oh my god!” Somin squeeled in excitement
“Yea it’s Valentine’s Day I have to be with my girlfriend!” Dong Sun chuckled
Somin couldn’t believe her own ears! “Dong Sun-nim you’re really going to meet unnie?”
“Yes. You were right Somin. I wasn’t contributing to our relationship. Jess gave me her everything while I was just being an adamant heartless jerk! But now I’ve decided to pur out my heart to my lady”
“OMO! That’s great!”
“It has all been possible because of you Somin. You opened my eyes. Thank you”
“Oh leave all the formalities and hop on that plane! All the best ! FIGHTING!”
“Thank you. Bye”
“Bye” Somin hung up and smiled to herself.”Atleast Dong-nim and Jessica unnie will get their happy ending” she murmured to herself and went to get into the shower
“The number you’re trying is presently busy”
“Aish!” hyunjoong snapped his phone shut as he heard the message for the 3rd time. He has been trying to call Somin but her phone was coming busy.” I bet she’s talking to the Jihoo…” Anger boiled inside him. “Oh what the heck! I’ll just go to her place. If she’s not there I’ll just tell Jungmin I tried” Hyunjoong pulled on his jacket and grabbed his car keys.
“Oh my! Somin you’re looking beautiful!” Granny exclaimed
Somin smiled gleefully. She had worn a beige coloured flowy satin knee length dress with a thick clack belt tied around her waist highlighting her curves.
“Thank you haraemoni!” Somin said as granny kissed her on the forehead.
DING! DONG!
“Jihoo coming to pick you up?” granny asked as she went towards the door
“No…he’s not supposed to” Somin creased her eyebrows
“Then who…”Granny said as she opened the door
“HYUNJOONG!” Granny gasped when she saw him standing outside
“Good evening haraemoni. Is Somin here?” Hyunjoong asked politely
“D-De” Granny nodded recovering from the shock and stood aside to reveal an equally if not more shocked Somin
Hyunjoong gaped at her taking in her beauty. He realized his mouth has fallen open. He quickly shut it and cleared his throat and said “Somin-sshi if you’re ready let’s go”
Somin managed to nod and grabbing her purse joined Hyunjoong in his car
