i found my last 2 chapters were gone so I'm updating them again!

The following morning Hyunjoong woke up after an hour long nudging session from Youngsaeng that too with a tremendous headache

“GOSH HYUNG! You’re still such a deep sleeper!” Youngsaeng sighed

Hyunjoong chuckled sleepily

“I really wonder how did you get up early when you had to pick up Somin and Haera?” Youngsaeng said but instantly regretted it as soon as he saw Hyunjoong’s face fall. Hyunjoong quietly got up from bed and went to freshen up.

“Have you decided on anything?” Youngsaeng finally asked him at the breakfast table

Hyunjoong didn’t answer,he just looked thoughtfully at his food and sighed

“Can I advise you something?” Youngsaeng offered

“Please do! I’m totally clueless here!”

“Don’t propose now. You are both young so there’s no need to rush specially when you’re this confused!”

“But—“

“Look Hyunjoong marriage is the most important decision of life! So don’t rush into it! Give yourself some time and space. And as far as giving a real surprise to Haera we can arrange for that without the proposal”

Somin and Jihoo worked all night and finally they had a great script at hand.

“Ah! Finally it’s ready!” Somin exclaimed as she stapled the printouts. She looked really tired and her sleepy eyes seemed more sleepy.

“Dear! Look at you!” Jihoo went upto her. When Somin turned she was shocked to see the proximity of her and Jihoo’s face. For a moment they were locked in each other’s eyes. Finally jihoo brought up his hand and lightly pinched her cheeks “Your dark circles are making you look like a zombie” He said turning away.

“Yaah!”

“You take some rest zombie AD…I’ll manage the shoot for two hours” Jihoo said as he put the script in his bag

“Ani it’s okay. I’ll come”

“No need…and anyways I don’t want you to scare away the crew members” Jihoo winked

Somin pouted but shock took over her face as Jihoo suddenly came forward and pecked on her cheeks “Rest zombie AD” he whispered and left

Somin rubbed her cheek where Jihoo pecked her.She placed one hand on her chest and her fast heartbeats turned her cheeks redder

“That boy has changed a lot” Grandma Jung’s voice surprised Somin

“Umm…yes he has” Somin answered shyly

As soon as he got out of the house Jihoo placed a hand on his chest. His heart—it was beating very loud.He closed his eyes and remembered the times he spent with Somin—her beautiful face,cute smiles and pouts—everytime he remembered them huge waves of happiness thrashed onto his heart’s shores. The feeling was indescribable.

DING DONG

Youngsaeng opened the door to find Jungmin,Kyu and Hyungjun standing outside

“Yah hyung! You are not ready yet? Oh—“ Jungmin was surprised when he saw Hyunjoong at the dinning table having cornflakes “Hyung! You’re here? Didn’t you go to pick Somin today?”

“I thought you guys are picking her up”

The SSboys just looked at each other in confusion.

“!” Hyunjoong shrieked out  as he hurriedly left the table and went into his room.

Hyunjoong didn’t bother as the other boys cried behind him ‘Hyung! There’s no use! It’s already late.its 1 hr past her call time! She must have gone to the studio already!’

Hyunjoong quickly grabbed a shirt and ran out

“Palli khaja” he simply waved at them to follow him as he dashed out of the house.The SSboys just looked at each other in utter confusion

“PALLI!” Hyunjoong shouted from outside

“WHAT? MARRIAGE PROPOSAL?” Grandma Jung cried out as Somin narrated the entire tale to her over breakfast. Thanks to jihoo she got a few minutes sleep and was feeling much fresher. But the sad event of Hyunjoong’s marriage proposal to Haera brought upon grief in her face.

“Aiiish! That boy is soo…..” Grandma gritted her teeth. She then exhaled to relax herself. “Somin-ah this guy….” She was unsure how to say this to her but she just had to “this guy isn’t right…I know it’sgonna be very difficult for you dear….but you should forget him”

This was  a truth Somin had been trying to avoid for quite sometime now but now when Grandma told her she couldn’t shy away from it anymore.

Granny took Somin’s hand in hers and pressed it lightly

“You’re right granny. I am through being used” Somin said

DING! DONG!

Grandma Jung opened the door to find a broadly grinning Jungmin

“Anneoyong haseyo haraomoni! Is Somin here?” Jungmin asked politely

“JUNGMIN!” Somin came out when she heard his voice “What are you doing here?”

“Aaah! You’re still here” Jungmin let out a sigh of relief and turned around to announce “She’s still here guys!”

There was loud ‘yay’ as Jungmin turned back to face Somin “Get ready…we’ll take you to the studio”

“Oh okay” Somin quickly grabbed her things,kissed granny and went out with Jungmin. Jungmin slid the van door open fully to let her in. When she was about to get in she noticed Hyunjoong sitting in the corner. She froze as Hyunjoong’s eyes fixed on her.

“Somin-sshi….get in” Jungmin said

“umm…yes” Somin calmed herself  and climbed into the car. She sat in between Hyungjun and Jungmin with Kyu and Hyunjoong sitting across her at the the opposite seat.

“So how come you’re still at home? Your general call time is 7am right?” Jungmin asked

“Aah yes. Actually I was up all night with Jihoo”

“WHAT?!” Jungmin and Hyunjoong shouted in unison,leaning forward

“Umm yes” Somin looked at them in surprise “We were working on the Valentine’s day script” Somin replied hesitantly

“Oh!” Jungmin relaxed and chuckled. Hyunjoong leaned back in his seat but his eyes never left Somin.Somin felt Hyunjoong’s gaze on her but she decided to ignore it and with the SSboys it wasn’t too difficult to do. Soon she was busy chatting with the 3 boys when suddenly her phone vibrated. She opened it to find there was a new message

“1o’clock—Hyunjoong”

Somin looked at her cellphone screen for a few moments and then shut it and went back to chatting with the boys again. A few minutes later her phone vibrated again

“You don’t seem to know but it’s a way of indicating directions where you imagine yourself at the centre of a clockface  and identify the direction according to the twelve hour markings –Hyunjoong “

Somin glanced at Hyunjoong for a few seconds and then looked at her cellphone again for a while and finally shut it.

A few moments later there was another vibration but this time from Hyunjoong’s cell

‘I am familiar with the clock position system—Somin’

Hyunjoong looked at Somin but she was busy talking with the boys—he felt irritated. Few seconds later Somin’s phone vibrated again. Somin rolled her eyes slightly and opened her inbox

‘Then why aren’t you implementing it—Hyunjoong’

Just when she was about to reply Jungmin cried,”Yah Somin-sshi! Who are you texting when we’re talking to you” Jungmin snatched away her phone—both Somin and Hyunjoong’s eyes grew big

“Yah Jungmin! Give her phone back to her!” Hyunjoong yelled

“NO!” Jungmin turned away and opened her phone. Just when he was about to go to her inbox Jungmin glanced at Somin—she looked horrified.

“Fine here you go” Jungmin said giving her cell back “I didn’t look but Somin-sshi could you please tell the person that you’ll talk later” Jungmin pouted

Somin  was touched by his consideration. She quickly glanced at Hyunjoong and turned back to Jungmin

“You know what the person’s not that important….I’m sorry for being absentminded…so what were you saying?” Somin tilted her head and smiled softly

Jungmin was very happy and he hugged her lightly which somewhat surprised Somin.

A thousand daggers went across Hyunjoong’s heart.‘The person is not that important’ Somin’s words kept on ringing in his head.

“Hmm…are you sure about this Jihoo?” Dong Sun asked. They were having a private meeting in Dong Sun’s cabin

“De” Jihoo replied confidently

“Why are you dropping Somin? She’s very hard-working”

“I know. But I don’t need her. I think I can do it on my own”

“I am not sure” Dong Sun sighed

“Sir don’t you have confidence in me?”

“Ofcourse I do but…Somin…”

“Sir please trust me”

“Let me just think about this. I’ll let you know once I decide”

Jihoo tried to say something but decided otherwise and just nodded

They both stood up, shook hands and Jihoo left

As soon as he did,Jessica came in—she has been listening to their conversation.

“What’s all this about dropping Somin Dongie?” Jessica asked

“So Jihoo said he will handle the shoot for two hours so that I can rest abit”Somin explained to the boys

“That’s nice of him” the boys said

“Yea alittle too nice” Hyunjoong mumbled in a low tone.Somin caught it and threw him an angry glare.

“Hey hyung!” Hyungjun said excitedly “ For your marriage proposal…I’ve got a great venue!”

Somin’s face stiffened at once and Hyunjoong noticed it too. Somin sadly glanced at Hyunjoong but seeing his eyes on her she quickly dropped her head. Seeing her like that,Hyunjoong’s heart suddenly became excited.

“Its very beautiful,its got a lake..” as hyungjun went on with his description of the venue Somin became more restless and Hyunjoong was finding it entertaining.

“I’m not important yet you get so disturbed hearing about my marriage proposal venue?” Hyunjoong chuckled in his head “Ah! Enough already! I don’t even know why I am so happy seeing Somin like this!” he thought

“It’ll be perfect I’ve already booked it for you on Valentine’s day” Hyungjun informed

“It all sounds great….but…I’m afraid you have to cancel it” Hyunjoong said which took everyone by surprise

“WAEYO?” everyone cried including Somin—infact she was the loudest. When she realized that she leaned back and shyly placed her hand over ,Hyunjoong smiled slightly

“I gave it a good thinking and decided it was too early to rush into marriage…so no marriage proposal for now”

“But I had already booked the venue”Hyungjun pouted while others supported Hyunjoong

“You did the right thing hyung…I also felt you were rushing into it but didn’t know how to say it to you” Kyujong said

“Thanks everyone” Hyunjoong paused to glance at Somin who was trying to keep a straight face but was having a real hard time at it since she was ecstatic! Hyunjoong chuckled to himself as he read her expressions “But…I still want to do something special for her “

Somin’s face fell again.

Finally they arrived at the studio and the boys got down.Jungmin again held out his hand and helped Somin get down.Somin was about to get into the studio with Jungmin when—

“Hey cute AD!”

Somin and Jungmin turned around at Hyunjoong’s call. Hyunjoong came upto her and then turned to Jungmin  “Can I have a moment with MY ANGEL  AD?” Hyunjoong said emphasizing on the last three words. Jungmin can be alittle outspoken and stubborn but Hyunjoong knew his way around his dongsaengs---whenever necessary he reminded them who’s the boss!

And he made Jungmin understand this time too as he retreated with just a simple nod.When he went inside Hyunjoong turned to Somin

“You have every right to be angry at me” Hyunjoong began as Somin kept looking at the ground “Im sorry…I crossed certain boundaries that day by kissing you…I shouldn’t have…I’m sorry”

“It’s okay.” Somin replied hurriedly and went towards the studio but Hyunjoong caught her wrist and pulled her back

“Somin………what happened to us?” Hyunjoong raised her head so that her eyes met his pleading ones.

“Somin“Jihoo’s sudden call interrupted their locked gaze.

“Hey how are things going? Did you submit the script?” Somin asked Jihoo

“De. Dong Sun-nim loved it” Jihoo smiled

“Aaah great!”

“Umm…Somin?”

“De?”

“No nothing..carry on”

“Wae?” Somin leaned forward with narrowed eyes

“Ani kinchana”

“Wae? Mareba!” Somin insisted slapping his arm lightly

“I was just..thinking…if you were free tonight we could go out” Jihoo asked as he flipped through the script—not looking at her

“Go out?” Somin was surprised

“Yea.grab a bite or something” Jihoo stealthily glanced at Somin’s face which looked abit hesitant “but its okay….We’re busy—“

“Kure.Khaja”

Jihoo looked up at Somin and they both smiled.

Hyunjoong stormed off to his changing room. On his way he bumped into Haera

“Hey sweety!” Haera greeted him with a big smile

“Hey” Hyunjoong replied briefly and went inside his changing room. When he entered he saw the boys and Siwon chatting in his room

“Why are you all here???? Can’t I have some privacy!!!!” he shouted—everyone looked at him in awe.

“But hyung—“

“GET OUT!” Hyunjoong fumed

The SSboys left in anger. Siwon understood he was upset so he didn’t barge much and quietly left the room closing the door behind him

“Ah Somin!” Dong Sun hugged Somin when he saw her. He cupped her face and said,”The script is WONDERFUL! I’m really proud of you”

“Kamsamhida” Somin smiled broadly

“Ok now…you go give Hyunjoong the briefing and jihoo…you give the same to haera” Dong Sun instructed

Somin knocked on the door twice. Getting no response she slightly pushed it and peeked inside

“HYUNJOONG!” Somin shrieked and rushed to his side. Hyunjoong was lying on the floor with his eyes closed and blood oozing out of his hand. Somin slapped him a few times calling out his name. Hyunjoong opened his eyes slowly.

“What the hell happened?” Somin asked as she took his hand in hers

“Nothing” Hyunjoong turned away and retreated his hand. Somin got up and grabbing a bottle of water went back to hyunjoong’s side.

“Its not the right time to be stubborn!” Somin said. She placed her things in the side and forcibly taking his hand,she started to clean his wound. “ I assume you did this to yourself” Somin said as she cleaned his wound.

Hyunjoong didn’t respond

“I guess I’ll take that as a yes” Somin continued cleaning. “So may I know why?” she asked

“I was angry and upset” Hyunjoong replied in a low tone

 “That’s it? Icant believe this!” Somin stopped cleaning his wound and looked at him in disbelief “If you were angry you should have talked it out with someone!”

“I would have but my bestfriend was busy ignoring me!”Hyunjoong snapped.

“So you did all this to make me feel guilty!” Somin looked back at him in fury

“I didn’t—“

“I am not your toy Hyunjoong! You think you can make me do whatever you want right?”

“I absolutely DON’T think that way! Why would you think that way??? What makes you say this!”

“You know what forget it!” Somin waved her hands and started to walk away but Hyunjoong pulled her back

“You cant just leave like that!!! Justify your accusations!” Hyunjoong screamed firmly holding her shoulders

“Fine!” Somin removed his hands from her shoulders “You are doing all this to make Haera jealous aren’t you?”

“WHAT?”

“Obviously! You are trying to be close to me so that Haera sees us and becomes jealous! That’s what you want right?”

“You wanna know what I want?” Hyunjoong asked “I want this” and with that he crashed his lips on hers. Somin was taken aback totally as Hyunjoong hungrily her lips. His anger made the kiss even more passionate. Then suddenly Hyunjoong broke off the kiss . They both looked into each other’s eyes. Slowly Somin’s hand went up his arm caressing it. Hyunjoong quickly grabbed her nape while his lips devoured hers again.

“HYUNJOONG!”

They both broke off from the kiss, startled by the scream. When they turned they saw Haera was standing at the door with her arms crossed.
