Dong Sun had called for a meeting to discuss about how to go about things during the FINALE Premiere. Everything was going very well according to plan. The premiere was going to be a grand one. The entire crew was working very hard.Finally the meeting got over at nine. Somin packed her things and stood outside waiting for Hyunjoong

“You still here Somin-ah? Should we drop you?” Jessica asked when she saw her standing outside alone.

“Ani kinchana unnie” Somin smiled shaking her head

“Waiting for Hyunjoong?” Jessica winked

Somin nodded shyly.

“Evenso,it’s late.” Dong Sun appeared “We’ll drop you. You shouldn’t wait here at this hour”

“It’s fine Dong Sun-nim. He’ll probably be on his way” Somin said nervously.

Dong Sun scrutinized her expression. From the corner of his eye, he saw Jihoo coming out with his things “Jihoo!” he called out.

Jihoo looked up and found Dong Sun waving at him. Instinctively his eyes flickered to Somin standing beside Dong Sun. Somin and Jihoo’s eyes met momentarily before Somin’s expression became sad and she looked down. Seeing her sad,Jihoo felt sad too and burdened as well since he knew he was the reason for her sadness. Dong Sun called out again which broke Jihoo’s train of thought. He shook his head and walked upto him.

“De Dong Sun-nim” he said

“We are leaving.” Dong Sun said “Could you stay with Somin till Hyunjoong arrives?”

“Dong Sun-nim! It’s really not necessary—“ Somin tried to object

“You are not the one who takes the decisions here” Dong Sun said sternly,glaring at Somin before turning to Jihoo.

“I’ll wait with her” Jihoo nodded

Once inside the car, Jessica turned to Dong Sun. “Why did you do that? You know things are abit complicated between them”

“That’s exactly why I did what I did” Dong Sun said calmly“You know what really complicates things?”

“What?”

“Miscommunication. It’s when people don’t communicate properly that misunderstandings, complications start to build up. In their case as well…things wouldn’t have turned this messy if Jihoo had proposed timely or Somin had informed Jihoo about her engagement. Even now they’r e not communicating properly…making things worse. They need to talk it out and accept certain things.” Dong Sun explained

“But what if they don’t communicate still?”

“Well there are some chances we just have to take” Dong Sun sighed

“Mmm…you’re so wise” Jessica smiled and ruffled Dong Sun’s hair

Somin and Jihoo were stood in silence as they waited for Hyunjoong. There was so much they wanted to say to each other but couldn’t. Jihoo stealthily glanced at Somin from time to time observing her and hunting for an opportunity to talk. Their eyes met 2 times too but still they couldn’t say anything.

Somin’s phone broke the eerie silence between them. Somin looked at Jihoo who was looking back at her. She fumbled to get the phone out from her bag with Jihoo’s eyes on her but she finally managed to take it out. She saw Hyunjoong’s name flashing on the screen. She looked at Jihoo nervously, for some strange reason she was questioning herself whether she should take the call before him or not. Jihoo immediately understood who was calling from Somin’s expression and looked away. Infact he wanted to get away from there entirely but he was forced to stay due to his responsibility.

Seeing Jihoo turn away, Somin understood he knew it was Hyunjoong. It was really uncanny how even after whatever happened they understood everything about each other in just one look. Somin’s guilt overpowered as she saw Jihoo turning away. Controlling herself somehow, she answered the call.

“Yabuseyo” Somin said

“Hey…you’re meeting’s over?”Hyunjoong asked from the other side

“De…I’m waiting for you outside”

“Aigoo shincha? Mianhe jagiya…Youngsaeng is abit depressed so I am with him. I was infact calling you to tell you to go along with Dong Sun and Jessica as I wont be able to come”Hyunjoong apologized

“Oh…kure.kinchana” Somin said and turned to Jihoo who had turned abit and was looking at her from the corner of his eye

“Have they left already?” Hyunjoong asked, sensing the uncertainity in her voice.

“Umm..de”

“There’s someone with you right? Dong Sun wont leave you alone…”

“Jihoo’s waiting with me” Somin said timidly

There was a brief silence from Hyunjoong’s end. Somin also didn’t know what to say, so she patiently waited for him to respond.

“Can he drop you?” Hyunjoong finally said, but there was a strange impassiveness in his voice.

“I guess…but I don’t wanna trouble him I can manage by myself. Don’t worry” Somin whispered but her answer reached jihoo who turned and walked upto her.

“I’ll drop you. Tell your husband not to worry” Jihoo announced loudly so that his voice was audible to Hyunjoong. Somin could hear Hyunjoong taking deep angry breaths and her expression turned helpless. “I promise I’ll be nice” Jihoo added seeing her sad face and walked past Somin to get his bike

“Hyunjoong?” Somin whispered.

“Should I come?” Hyunjoong said in a serious tone

“No. I’ll be fine. Take care of Youngsaeng hyung…he needs you” Somin said

“Hmm”

“Hyunjoong…I love you” she said emphasizing the last 3 words before hanging up

A double update for 100 subscribers!  I am so happy i never thought this day ould come. Thanks to everyone for liking this ff. I am sorry I know my updates are very irregular i do compensate for that with new twists right? so please be with me and support me!

Ok so....There's definitely something up with Hwangbo, What do you all think? Is she running away or is there something else up her sleeve?
