“Oh my God!” Somin cried as Hyunjoong finished Kyu’s chance encounter with GoldenMasked a.k.a Dr.SeJung “that just sounds like something out of a drama!”

“Baby said the same” Hyunjoong chuckled and the couple shared another kiss

“It really feels great you know..” Somin said thoughfully

“Already? But I haven’t even started anything” Hyunjoong winked and Somin hit him only to be pulled closer by him

“I mean we get to witness so many amazing love stories. Kyu and Dr.SeJung, Jungmin  and Seungyeon—” Somin paused as she notice Hyunjoong stiffened “Wha-What’s wrong?”

“Well I just remembered… well Youngsaeng knew Lee was plotting against us and he had confided in Hwangbo…now Hwangbo was suspicious of Seungyeon and she thought that maybe she was a spy from DSP. When you went missing she charged at Seungyeon and Jungmin, along with all of us, thought that maybe she really was the spy…” Hyunjoong explained

“Oh God” Somin gasped

“Hwangbo was wrong but you can’t really blame her…one cant deny,Seungyeon did come into Jungmin’s life out of the blue” Hyunjoong shrugged his shoulders

“So what’s with them now?” Somin asked

“I dunno” Hyunjoong said thoughtfully

“Hey mal..” Hyungjun asked hesitantly

Jungmin laid in his seat with his eyes closed and facing the window as their van speeded through the empty streets of Seoul “Mm?” he replied without moving

“I don’t think Seungyeon had anything to do with Somin’s abduction” Hyungjun said hesitantly

Jungmin opened his eyes at the mention Seungyeon’s name. He couldn’t deny that Hwangbo’s accusations bothered him. They were completely valid—she did come into her life suddenly and how could Seungyeon not know about DSP Boyz, Woobin or Lee’s intentions being in the same company? But then there was a part of him who like Hyungjun believed her to be innocent. They hadn’t exchanged a word for the rest of the premiere and she even texted him many times asking about Somin, pleading him to believe her. His heart ached wanting to reply to them but his brain censured.

“Have you talked to her?” Hyungjun asked “Minnie?”

“I am really tired Junnie. “ Jungmin said and closed his eyes again. When they reached their dorm Jungmin got down silently and once in, he went into his room without a word. Hyungjun was worried to see him like this but he was too scared to say anything

“I am such an idiot really!” Hyunjoong shook his head

“I have known that for a long time now” Somin said matter-of-factly. Hyunjoong tried glaring at her but he ended up pinching her cheeks playfully “But why the sudden realization?” Somin chuckled

“I mean Youngsaeng didn’t share his theories with anyone..but he shared it with Hwangbo. Not me, not Jungmin, not Kyu not Baby but Hwangbo! How could I have not seen this? “ Hyunjoong exasperated “Even now when I was seeing them off there was such an intense energy drawing them together, you are bound to feel it yourself if you’re in the same room. I must be the king of ignorance to miss that!”

“Don’t blame yourself,they do a pretty amazing job of hiding their feelings” Somin sighed

“Rough day huh?” Hwangbo chuckled nervously breaking the ice first.

“Yeah..” Youngsaeng replied

“I didn’t know you could fight that well..you were incredible…very manly”

Youngsaeng looked at her with narrowed eyes “Manly?”

Hwangbo bit her lip nervously and looked away

Youngsaeng lips curved into a crooked smile as he turned his eyes back to the road. “well you were okay for a taekwando champion”. Hwangbo’s jaw dropped at the snide comment. “But I didn’t know you could curse that well! ‘oldie’, ‘’ you really must have got into Lee’s nerves” Youngsaeng chuckled

“Well he deserved it” Hwangbo said

“He sure did”

“Oh! I managed to catch the premiere too..more or less” Hwangbo remembered “They were watching it in the waiting room.”

“Did you see my performance?” Youngsaeng asked

“Yeah…you were amazing” Hwangbo blushed.

“You saw all of it?” Youngsaeng asked again

“Your performance? Yeah I did” Hwangbo repeated and looked at Youngsaeng—his expression looked inquisitive. “you sang ‘Rainy Heart’, then ‘Crying’—“ Hwangbo stopped short as she realized why Youngsaeng had that expression. She closed her eyes and remembered his words:

“Sometimes love just goes away, you try, you try desperately to stop your love from going. But it refuses to listen...what do you do then?"

A pang of guilt rose in her chest. The car stopped and Hwangbo turned her head slowly to Youngsaeng fearful that they will again indulge in their usual inexplainable and hurtful argument where Youngsaeng helplessly asks her to be with him and she denies inspite of wanting the same. She sighed and opened her eyes to meet with Youngsaeng’s but found Youngsaeng inclined towards her. Immediately her breathing stopped, every hair on her body stood at its end and beads of sweat started to form on her forehead. Youngsaeng made a groaning noise and leant back without a warning. “Your jacket” he said as he produced the garment fetched from the backseat.

“Oh..” Hwangbo looked dumbfoundedly at theblack leather held in his hand. “Thanks” she grabbed it and just sat in her seat not knowing what to do.

“Your building’s here” Youngsaeng said

Hwangbo looked at him in confusion before looking out. She didn’t realize they had arrived at her place. That’s why he stopped the car. Hwangbo cursed herself and hurriedly got down “Kumawo” she bowed and clumsily walked into her building

“Seriously you are so stubborn!” Youngsaeng shook his head. “But I will make you confess! I will make you come down on your knees, Hwangbo Hyejung” he determined

“Hwangbo is being utterly ridiculous.” Hyunjoong cried

“Sssh” Somin hissed and both of them took a quick look at the door. “She’s just concerned about Youngsaeng…she told me how she was criticized brutally by the press during WGM”

“The press people gets paid for criticizing. That’s their job! As far as fans are concerned, well the ones who oppose against such things are lunatics, if you ask me” Somin shook her head telling him not to think that way “No honestly they are. I mean what do they want really? That we stay unmarried for the rest of our lives just to keep them happy and satisfied?” Hyunjoong hissed “And Hwangbo had been in this industry for a long time,I really didn’t expect her to have such trifle insecurities. Yes, our fans are important but they don’t define us our work does. If we are good, married or single, we will have followers.”

“She is just scared for Youngsaeng. These criticism,press meets etc can be troublesome.” Somin said thoughtfully

“Oh that reminds me” Hyunjoong suddenly said . Somin looked up at him. “We probably will have a press conference tomorrow where we are gonna report about these incidents and I am gonna announce our engagement”

“WHAAAAAAT?!”

A nurse came running into the ER. “What happened?” she cried as she found Somin sitting up in her bed, her eyes were wide open and her face has gone pale—it seemed as if she had seen a ghost. The nurse followed her gaze to find Hyunjoong lying disoriented on the floor

“She had a nightmare..?” Hyunjoong lied laughing nervously
