Kyu stepped out of the army campus with his backpack hung over his shoulder. The sun shone brightly on his face as if welcoming him back along with the 4 handsome men waiting for him just outside the gates. Kyu looked at them and a bright smile formed on his lips instantly—he had missed them. This was the longest he had stayed away from them  since the time he first met them. Kyu ran into their arms as the joy in him overpowered.

 The SSboys were happy to finally see their caring center. Kyu was the most sensitive among them hence they knew how much he had suffered the past months in the army facing the challenges all by himself. The 5 boys hugged each other  forgetting everything else in the world

“Aigoo Kyu! You have become so skinny!” Hyung Jun cried  when they finally released themselves from the group hug. Kyu smiled shyly.

“Yah! Nothing to smile about! It’s not a compliment!” Jungmin flicked his forehead. “better puff up those muscles else you wont get a girl”

“Oh yeah right! You think you’ve become an expert now that you’ve a girlfriend?” Hyung Jun rolled his eyes.

“Girl-girlfriend?” Kyu looked at Jungmin curiously along with the rest of SS501 who were now eyeing Jungmin who was turning pale under their gaze.  “Mal is that true?” Kyu asked again

“Umm…” Jungmin was uncapable of forming a response, which was a first.

“GOD! Mal is speechless! Omo! What else happened while I was gone huh?” Kyu shrieked

“A lot….but none of them is as shocking as this one” Hyunjoong chuckled. “you’ll find out one by one”

“Yeah…we don’t want you to have a cardiac arrest” Hyungjun giggled

“C’mon let’s get to the dorm” Hyunjoong patted Kyu’s back and the boys entered the van.

“So who’s this girl? Where is she from? When can we meet her? You're going to introduce her to us right?” Kyu showered Jungmin with his questions

“Her name’s Seungyeon” Jungmin said hesitantly

“Is she the Seungyeon from KARA?” Hyungjun asked

“Ofcourse! You saw her then why are you asking?” Jungmin said somewhat blushing.

“You’ve seen her?” Kyu,Youngsaeng and Hyunjoong asked maknae

“Hardly!” Hyungjun shrugged his shoulder dramatically “ I just got a glimpse of her when Mal jumped down from the car. He sent her off before I could even introduce myself” maknae pouted.

“Maybe he was feeling insecured” Youngsaeng teased

Jungmin glared at him “he’s the last person I’ll be insecured of” Jungmin rolled his eyes. He was cursing Gyuri for making him face this situation. Usually he’s the one teasing everyone. Being at the receiving end for the first time, he was not liking it one bit. He felt irritated but there was a tinge of shyness oozing in him as well. The reason for the shyness however he didn’t know.

“So when can we meet her?” kyu hopped in his seat excitedly and the remaining SSboys joined as well in nagging Jungmin

“You can meet her today if you want” Jungmin said,praying in his head for the boys’ schedules to be packed

“Today sounds nice” Hyunjoong said, crashing all Jungmin’s hopes. “ we can go to dine straight from the studio after working on the album. “

“Yeah!” the 3 boys cheered approving Leader’s plans while Jungmin sighed

“Do you mind if I invite Somin over?” Hyunjoong asked, eyeing Jungmin briefly.

“Are you kidding me hyung! Ofcourse not! Call her I’m dying to meet her” Kyu , who forgot about Jungmin’s episode  with Somin, innocently cried.

Somin,Jihoo, Jessica and Dog Sun had interviewed a dozen of security teams but still hadn’t got one of their liking. They were exhausted and taking a break when Somin’s phone rang. Somin sprang up when she saw Hyunjoong’s name flashing on the screen. It has been 2 days since she met him and she really missed him. She looked at Dong sun briefly seeking his permission. Dong Sun signed and waved at her approving. As soon as she got the signal, Somin smiled brightly and got out to talk to Hyunjoong

“Yabuseyo” she whispered lovingly

“hey angel, how’s the interview going?” Hyunjoong asked stepping out of the recording room while the rest of the SSboys listened to the songs recorded so far

“Not too good. We have interviewed over 20 teams but still haven’t got a team of our liking” she sighed “I am tired, I am exhausted and I miss you” she cried cutely

“omo! My angel’s missing me? Now that’s a first!” Hyunjoong chuckled

“Oppa!” Somin pouted

“and she’s calling me oppa?” Hyunjoong cried “Are you drunk angel?” he joked

Somin mumbled while Hyunjoong laughed.”Mianhe mianhe..it feels nice to hear that you miss me…I thought only I missed you”

“Pabo! Ofcourse I do! You’re such a wise leader yet you don’t know how I feel? Pabo! Pabo! Pabo!” Somin said

“Understanding human emotions isn’t my strong point” Hyunjoong remarked shyly

“Well then listen to me carefully…I love you, I miss you and I cant wait to see you! You better come to pick me up today or you’re dead Kim Hyunjoong!” Somin threatened

Hyunjoong smiled, he felt ecstatic hearing those words from her. Somin was a very shy girl and instances where she confessed her feelings like this were really rare. So now when she was, Hyunjoong could hardly control his happiness. He then remembered about the gathering “ That reminds me, we are having a gathering tonight and you’re invited”

“Oh! I forgot...Kyu’s here right? How is he?”

“Yeah he’s great,turned abit skinny..” Hyunjoong turned around to see Kyu with the remaining SSboys listening to the songs in the studio. “but otherwise he’s well. But he’s not the reason why we are having the gathering”

“Then…why?” Somin asked in confusion

“Our mal has got a girl”

“WHAT?! You don’t say!” Somin shrieked out

“Yep. Do you know Seungyeon from KARA?”

“Yea I heard of her.” Somin nodded

“She’s the one!” Hyunjoong announced “we’ll be meeting her tonight…you know…officially”

“Woah! I am coming for sure!”

“Kure will pick you up at eight” Hyunjoong said

“Kure.” Somin nodded and was about to hang up when Hyunjoong  called out “Somin!”

“De?”

“I love you. MUUUUUUUUAAAAH!” Hyunjoong gave a long kiss into his phone. “Now your turn”

“Not a chance” Somin made a teasing sound sticking out her tongue and hung up

Hyunjoong opened his mouth to protest but Somin had already hung by then “This girl is going to get punished so bad!” he said,chuckling

When he turned he saw the 4 members all smiling at him mischieviously

“What?” Hyunjoong pretended as if nothing happened, putting on his usual cool dude act again

“ ‘I love you! Muuuuuaaaaah!’ “ the boys imitated him and

“Shincha….. love is powerful. It turned even our cool Leader cheesy!” Hyungjun mocked

“De hyung…should I buy couple tees for you and Somin now?” Kyu teased

“YAH!—“ Hyunjoong shouted and ran at them while the other two darted away from his onslaught

“So how are things with Hwangbo?” Jungmin asked as he watched Youngsaeng looking at Hyunjoong chasing the other two.

Youngsaeng sighed and closed his eyes. He had been trying not to think about her but not a single day passed by when he didn’t remember her or called her up just to hear the ‘unavailable’ message.”I don’t know…” he replied

“Hmm?” Jungmin looked at him inquisitively

“Just when I thought everything was finally settled and we can start our lovestory….she disappeared” Youngsaeng sighed and before Jungmin could ask further he walked away and entered the studio again and put on the headphones

Jungmin watched Youngsaeng’s sad figure walking away.

His words echoed in his mind. ‘Just when I thought everything was finally settled and we can start our lovestory….’?

 Jungmin remembered his chance encounter with Hwangbo at Japan airport. He sensed her  behavior was fishy and now hearing Youngsaeng’s words he understood something was surely wrong. “What did Youngsaeng mean Hwangbo disappeared on him?” Jungmin thought “doesnt he know she’s in Japan?”

He took out his phone and dialed Hwangbo’s number. When he heard the ‘unavailable’ message he inferred something was definitely wrong. He cut the line and dialed a number he hasn’t dialed for a really long time.

“Yabuseyo?” a manly voice flowed from the other side

“Yunho…this is Jungmin, Park Jungmin.”

“Oh de…anneyong haseyo” Yunho cried

“I want to speak to Hwangbo.” Jungmin came straight to point

“You have her number. Call her” Yunho simply said

“It’s coming unavailable”

“Shincha? Well I dunno then…I haven’t spoken to her—“

“Yunho..” Jungmin interrupted “We’ve known each other long enough to know when the other is lying”

Yunho became silent instantly. After a brief moment of silence he whispered, “I am sorry I cant tell you anything.”

“Kure you don’t have to” Jungmin sighed “but can you please pass on a message to her”

“Hmm” Yunho said

“May I come in?” Somin sheepishly peeked from behind the door. She knew she was late and was ready to face Dong Sun’s wrath.

“Ah Somin-ah you’re right on time!” Dong Sun cried. Initially Somin thought he was being sarcastic but then she saw the happiness reflecting on his face “we finally got a team that meets all our criteria!” he announced and waved at a group of men sitting in the center of the room. It was a group of 30 men all dressed in black jeans and t-shirt, all except one. The man sat right in the middle and wore a black suit with black shades

“Sorry I am late….Congratualtions and welcome aboard” Somin went forward to shake hands with the suited man who seemed to be the leader.

“Ms. Jung Somin…finally we meet” the man said as he rose up. “Anneoyong haseyo I’m Woobin” Woobin, removed his shades and shook Somin’s hands.

Woobin took their appointment letter and exited the room with his team. Once outside the studio he took out his phone “I had told you not to worry sir… none suspected and we got the job.”

“Very impressive Woobin. You’ll definitely be rewarded” Mr. Lee, the DSP chairman smiled evilly.

“Thank you sir. Now sit back and relax. We have Hyunjoong cornered. There’s no escape for him now” Woobin said
