“Cake’s in the oven…it’ll take half an hour so what’s next?” Somin asked as Hyunjoong pressed the oven buttons to adjust the settings

“Pizza…Jungmin likes pizza” Hyunjoong answered thoughtfully

“Pizza will be troublesome….and we have to make two atleast” Somin stated worriedly

“But we gotta do it….its Mal’s favorite!” Hyunjoong insisted

“Hyunjoong its already six the boys will be here in an hour! How are we going to make two pizzas in one hour?” Somin tried to reason but Hyunjoong was not accepting ‘no’ for answer

“C’mon if we had stopped bickering we would have already been halfway through it!”

“okay fine! Let’s do it! But don’t blame me if the boys arrive and they don’t get anything to eat” somin snapped

“I wont if you work hard truly”

“I always work hard”

“FINE”

“FINE!”

They each glared at one another and then Somin sighed in exasperation “We need to prepare the dough. Where’s the flour?”

Hyunjoong opened the closets to get the flour.

“I’ll prepare the dough while you get the ingredients ready…chop the veggies,cut the chicken pieces and all” Somin instructed as Hyunjoong poured flour into a big bowl for her.

“You prepare one…I’ll prepare the next” Hyunjoong said

“Mmm” Somin nodded as she took the bowl from him. Somin started working on her dough and Hyunjoong gathered his ingredients. Suddenly out of the blue Hyunjoong started laughing. Somin looked at him in confusion  but Hyunjoong just went on laughing

“Okay…Kim Hyunjoong has officially turned mental” Somin announced rolling her eyes but Hyunjoong continued to laugh. “Yah! Stop laughing! You’ll hurt yoursel—“ and before she could even finish her Hyunjoong cut his finger

“Aah!” Hyunjoong cried

“I told you to stop laughing!” Somin scolded as she pulled his wounded finger closer to investigate the cut. “Its deep…come” somin dragged him to the sink and started cleaning his wound “Seriously! Sometimes you’re so careless!” Somin said as she rubbed his wounded finger carefully with a towel. She searched and found the band-aids and started to wrap it over the wound “What were you laughing about anyway?”

“Our fight” Hyunjoong chuckled

“Our fight?” Somin narrowed her eyes

“Yea the fight we had just now…it seemed like we are an old married couple” Hyunjoong chuckled but Somin’s face froze momentarily. She started dressing Hyunjoong’s wound with an even more serious face

Hyunjoong noticed the change in her expression. He expected her to laugh with him but the consequences were pretty opposite

“Wae?” Hyunjoong asked worriedly

“Ani kinchana. I can imagine why the idea of us as a old married couple might appear to be hilarious to you” Somin said dryly and walked back to her dough. Hyunjoong was left staring. After many minutes of killing silence when Hyunjoong realized that Somin was not really going to communicate apart from the necessary he decided to go back to his vegetables. He took the knife and a capsicum to chop but just as he was about to strike Somin came in and took away the capsicum and then snatched away the knife from him.

“Yah!yah!” Hyunjoong yelled in surprise

“I’ll do it…you’re hurt” Somin said coolly

“How can you  do everything by yourself?”

“I’ll manage”

“You are not a superwoman okay? Lemme do it” Hyunjoong tried to take back the knife

“I said I’ll manage” Somin glared at him

Hyunjoong sighed “If you’re angry about my comment say it. We’ll resolve it, Don’t take it out like this! What will the boys eat?”

“I’m not angry” Somin said calmly working on her dough

“Yeah right! Well the party is in my house and I’m host so I’m gonna decide. Who asked for your help anyway? You should have come at seven, ate and left!” Hyunjoong yelled

“Hyunjoong the reason why I’m not letting you chop the vegetables is because I don’t want the boys to taste your blood instead of cheese! If you wanna work there are plenty. Set up the table for one!” Somin stated,maintaining her calm

Hyunjoong now understood her prospective but he really wanted to cook for his dongsaengs so reluctantly he got up and started to prepare the table while Somin prepared the food.
